It has been a few weeks since kovus first mission as a member of the lion guard and things of gone well since then. Everyone has gotten used to having kovu on the team and at this point he is considered their friend. And kovu has never felt so cared for so appreciated he feels like the lion guard is his true family, his pride didn't really treat him well, mostly nuka, he was sent to the outlands all because of his mother when he had nothing todo with ziras attempt on simbas life. But that was all in the past that gladly left behind and took pride in his new life in the pridelands, being a member of the lion guard, and being close to kiara again and he has kion to thank for it. But they have encountered a new enemy during a kupantana celebration, a family of jackals lead by reirei, they were defeated of course but now the guard had more to worry about than janja and his hyenas so they had to be more on their toes.

However their was a new trouble for kovu when he got here, something out of no where!, something totally unexpected!, something he was not prepared for!. That threat was... female lions. When kovu got to the pridelands and after his first successful mission follow by others he has been catching the eyes of many of the young female cubs, especially tiifu and zuri. The guard were doing some training to keep their skills sharp and they all have improved especially kion and kovu, as they were taking a break and playfully talking with each other, tiifu and zuri arrived.

"Hey kovu" zuri said in flirt like voice walking towards kovu.

"Uh hey zuri, tiifu how are things going" he said blushing as the two young lions got a bit close to his face.

"We were wondering if you would like to join us later for a drink at the watering hole" zuri said.

"And we would love to here more about you" tiifu said.

And as she said that tiifu and zuri got more close to kovu. He tried to back up but he was backed up against the wall, the guard were going to help him but someone else beat them to it. "TIIFU,ZURI!" a voice yelled, they turned towards where the voice came from and they saw it was kiara and she looked pretty mad at zuri and tiifu trying to take her kovu.

"Can I have a word with you 2" kiara said in a demanding and scary tone. Both tiifu and zuri a bit to scared to argue followed her to where their conversation would be out of earshot. "Care to explain what that was about" she demanded. Both tiifu and zuri looked at each other and zuri decided to answer. "We were just inviting kovu to join us for a drink at the watering hole that's all" she said with a weak smile. Kiara had an unconvinced look on her face "Listen you 2 cause I am going to say this once" she said firmly, "kovu is mine and I will give you a piece of my mind if you 2 try to take my crush" she stated seriously. Both tiifu and zuri both nodded their heads in unison to show she understood and then kiara sent them on their way and went to talk to kovu.

"Hey kovu I just want to say sorry for tiifu and zuri, they tend to act like that around attractive lions and their aren't alot of males around" she said.

"They probably were just trying to score a boy friend haha" bunga joked and the others were holding back chuckles and laughs.

Kiara and kovu had unamused looks on their faces.

"It's ok" kovu said then kiara was about to leave then looked back at kovu and said.

"Hey kovu if you aren't busy later today do you want to hangout and catch up" she said blushing badly and looking towards the grounds.

Kovu looked towards the others and they simply signaled him to accept her request, " uh sure we can go right now if you want" he responded.

Kiara was ecstatic and then she and kovu went off on their way and the guard looked happy for them.

"Alright guys that's enough training for today" kion said and the others went off to do their own thing.

Meanwhile with tiifu and zuri they were at the watering hole working on their fur and claw. They were still pretty glum when kiara stated that kovu was off limits to them.

"Man why does kiara haft to have him all to herself" tiifu said sadly.

"Yeah right, she is the princess in all but she could at least leave us some males" she said upset that she won't have a chance with kovu.

Their was kion but he wasn't attractive to them and was kiaras brother so no. While tiifu was sharpening her claws zuri decided to go swimming a little bit but like in many bodies of water their was trouble lurking. The lions didn't know that this was where the crocs live and while zuri was swimming that got the crocs attention. They noticed and started moving towards her she noticed and screamed. Tiifu noticed this and saw that zuri was surrounded by crocs on a little rock at the center of the lake. Tiifu was getting approached by crocs an ran. Kion was nearby and tiifu saw him and ran for help. Kion saw tiifu running towards him and wondered what she wanted.

"Kion I *pant* need *pant* your help" tiifu said out of breath.

"Tiifu what's the problem" kion asked

"It's zuri she's surrounded by crocs" she said worriedly.

Kion agreed to help her and she lead the way. Zuri was trying to talk her way out of trouble. "Hey look I didn't know this was your home I don't want any trouble" she said trying to reason with them. "Sorry cub but that won't do you are in are territory and we don't like trespassers on are turf" said one of the crocs. They approached zuri and she tried to fend them off but was not going to last long. She fell into the water and tried to swim away but a croc was closing in and she was panicking and one of the crocs was about to snap his jaws on her. Zuri closed her eyes waiting for the jaw but didn't come. She opened her eyes and saw kion holding the jaw open and then looked at zuri. "RUN NOW!" kion told her and zuri did just that she hid as kion fought off the crocs zuri watched and she felt something different when she saw kion her heart started to beat and her cheeks were getting red and she then thought how handsome he was. Then once kion had crocs down for recovery he grabbed zuri and ran away with her in his arms bridal style.

Once they were far away from the crocs kion put zuri down and she was still blushing. "Hey zuri are you ok" he asked noticing her blushing. "Yeah I'm fine" she said blushing and walking closer to him. She kissed him on the cheek "thanks for saving me" she said bashfully looking at the ground. Kion was shocked at what zuri did and shook it off and then the two returned to priderock since it was getting late. When they got there they were asked questions by the others who were worried when they heard what happened. They told them they were alright then kion walked to a ledge and noticed other young female cubs were giggling at him and looking at him and whispering things about him. He ignored it and thought about how jasiri was doing and hoped he would see her again since jasiri is probably busy caring and protecting her clan.

In the outlands jasiri was thinking about kion and hoped to see him again. "Jaisiri" madoa called getting her attention. "What's up" jasiri asked, "well I was wondering what you thinking about is all" madoa responded. "I was thinking about kion and my heart is aking for him" she respond. "Well maybe next time you see him confess your love for him" madoa suggested. Jasiri thought about it and nodded to her sister agreeing to her idea and next time when the moment is right she will confess her love for him. Jasiri and madoa then joined the rest of their clan for dinner then went of to sleep.
