Hey guys just to let you know why I haven't posted in a while is just my house was under renovation, and have took a break and all but I hope you will enjoy this chapter.

And just asking what kion ship is you favorite mine of course is kion x jasiri

It was afternoon in the pridelands, everyone was happy and enjoying the day. Its been a few days since the fight with the outsiders and ziras banishment. As the the outsiders were welcomed back into the pridelands simba, nala, kiara, kovu helped them re adjust to their new home. After that vitani and the other lioness were attracted to kion as the pridelander lioness were which was really unsettling to kion.

The pridelands even made a deal with the outlanders, they stop terrorizing the pridelands and they will be given a place to hunt. With that deal in place the lion guard used it as a chance to relax, since the deal with the outlands was made they could relax more. They were all in the lair so if anything did come up people would know where to go for help.

Jasiri was even their talking with them, then someone came running in, he stopped to lean on a wall to trying to catch his breath. It was kion who had just escaped from a swarm of his unwanted admirers.

"Hey kion how was the fan club" jasiri said playfully.

Everyone chuckled and laughed at the joke she made. Kion playfully rolled his eyes, he then went over to a ledge and laid down against the wall, jasiri walked over to him and snuggled up into his chest and kion wrapped his arm around her.

"To answer you question it was a pain, they were all trying to woo me over and to make it worse all the lioness that were outsiders have fallen for me" he said a little agitated.

"Well since that's the case and their won't be much trouble now that the outlanders won't be a problem, why don't we go on a nice date to help ease the tension" she said seductively and placing a hand on his cheek and making him look at her.

Kion faced her and smiled "I would like that" he agreed. They were moving in to kiss until they heard a chirp.

They looked and saw fuli signaling towards the entrance. They quickly moved away from each other and saw that it was kiara.

"Hey kion mom and dad need you" kiara said.

"What for?" kion asked.

"They want you to meet someone" she responded and then walked out.

Kion and jasiri sighed and before kion left he gave jasiri a kiss on the cheek and made her blush and then left. He then walked up the ramp to his families den he noticed rafiki there and saw 2 lions that he didn't see before. One was a male with a brown mane and dark blue eyes and the other was a female with brown eyes and had a blue mark on her forehead and saw that they had a lion mark on their right shoulder that was different from the lion guards. Simba and nala noticed kion walk in and greeted him.

"Aah kion your here" simba stated.

Everyone looked towards the entrance and saw him, then the female lioness walked up to him, "you must be kion, I'm rani and this is my brother baliyo" she said holding her hand out.

Kion shook her hand and then asked "so rani what brings you and your brother to the pridelands"

"Your parents invited us to meet you, and we are betrothed" she responded with a small blush.

"What?" kion said shocked.

"Yes kion your mother and I have watched you grow and saw your leadership skills improve" simba said

"Rani is actually not only the leader of the night pride which guards the tree but also the new queen" nala said.

"Rafiki came to us a few days ago and told us that you would be the tree of life's new king" simba said.

Kion was shocked at this he loved jasiri and would rather drown than be with a girl he didn't love so he put on a serious look and said, "I am not going to marry her!".

Everyone shocked/speechless to what kion said, the den was silent everyone was trying to comprehend what they just heard and simba was the first to break the silence.

"Kion what do you mean?" simba asked confused at his sons statement.

"Kion the spirits of the past said you would become the new king of the tree of life" rafiki said.

"Well I don't care what they think, I am not marrying a girl who I don't love and would rather DROWN!" kion said running out of the den.

Kion ran down the ramp and away from pride rock, the others tried to chase after him but was to late and he was to far away. Then they noticed jasiri and the guard walking up and asked what was up with kion. They told them what happened, and they were shocked. Simba told them that this is a family matter and they will take care of it.

That being said after they left jasiri ran after kion heading to a place where she thinks kion ran to the hidden cave. When she got their she went in and saw kion sitting on the bed in the back of the cave and walked over to him. Kion noticed her and looked towards her and she had a worried look on her face.

"Hey jasiri" kion said bluntly.

"Hey kion, I heard about what happened" she said sitting next to him.

"So you can guess why I am upset" he told her.

"Yeah I know" jasiri said leaning her head on his shoulder trying to comfort.

The room was silent and kion was glad jasiri was being comforting and supportive for him. He then laid down on the bed and jasiri followed and laid her head on his chest, kion then laid on his side and hugged jasiri which made her gasp in surprise at his action, he then whispered in her ear "I will never leave you for another girl ever".

Jasiri blushed and a warm smile grew on her face and she hugged him back and drifted off into sleep and kion followed with a smile on his face. As they laid down in each others embrace kion tightened his arms around jasiri.

Meanwhile back at pride rock 2 hours later

"I'm getting worried for kion its already dark and he still isn't home" nala said worried.

"Don't worry nala, kion is more than capable of taking care of himself" simba said comforting her.

Rani felt responsible for kion being gone and all but she was also wondering about what kion said, she felt that their was some other reason kion neglected the betrothal. What he said, she could feel their was someone else that kion loved, she was wondering who it was until simba came up to her and said "Queen rani I must apologize for my son, I didn't think he would respond like that" , "It's alright the betrothal was out of the blue" rani said.

"Anyways why don't we get you a place to stay, from the long journey you had I could imagine that you must be exhausted" simba said.

Rani and baliyo agreed and simba and nala got them a nice spot in priderock to stay in and they all went to sleep and in the morning they will hope that kion would of calmed down and try to talk to him about the whole betrothal thing.
