The Heroic God Slayer

Chapter 11

This time will be a bit of what the kids will be dealing with in Vanaheim. With a bit of comedy at the start to make fun of the situation and the characters involved. I've got an interesting long term plan but I will tell you that the USJ won't happen for a few more chapters. So on with the show.

(No POV)

"Vanaheim! You brought all of us to Vanaheim!?" Vlad King shouted alongside Aizawa. Midnight and All Might though were standing back a bit and were a bit amused by the other teachers freaking out. Especially considering the person they were chewing out was sitting under a tree and reading a book. Jonathan didn't even look up before saying, "yep. That is what I did."

They could especially hear Aizawa's teeth grinding at the oldest Campione's statement. "So you dragged all of us to a mythological realm, with who knows what kind of dangers, and expect the students to survive?!" Aizawa shouts while Jonathan turns a page in his book. "Well I know what dangers are here. And Izuku and Xeimei should have a…. general idea….. but in essence…. Yeah, pretty much" Jonathan says while relaxing under the tree.

Aizawa starts pulling at his hair before shouting at Jonathan one last time. Saying, "ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSANE!?" Jonathan looks up at that bit and looks over Aizawa. Midnight and All Might are sure the man is going to attack or do something horrific to their fellow teacher. While Vlad King is currently freaking out trying to use anything to contact the students.

Jonathan then raises his hand. And just when he looks like he's about to say something, he stops and tilts his head to the side. Putting his free hand under his chin. He hums around a bit as if contemplating what Aizawa has said about him. All the while Aizawa's eyes are twitching more and more. And he looks like he wants to strangle the man.

After about two minutes of Jonathan thinking, he raises his hand once more. And then flattens it out before waving it back and forth. "Eh jury's still out on that one." Jonathan says before going back to his book.

Aizawa then freaks out and runs off shouting he'll find the students. "I wouldn't do that if I were you!" "We'll you're not me!" Jonathan and Aizawa retort back and forth. All Might meanwhile has a bit of a laugh at his fellow teacher's expense. Midnight steps over and calms Vlad, who just sits down with an annoyed sigh.

Midnight then asks Jonathan a few more questions regarding what he had in mind. "So what are you hoping they'll be able to do? And how do you even know they're all safe? Also… Is Aizawa going to be, okay?" Jonathan just looks up at the woman with a raised eyebrow. He then says, "you know a lot of kings would probably demand that you make some overture to get answers to those types of questions. Let alone being annoyed that you were questioning them in the first place."

This makes most of the others gathered look to the man with a mix of scandalization, disgust and anger. All Might being the last one. He's about to tell the oldest member of their group off when Jonathan stops him. "You really aren't big on listening, are you? I did say a lot of kings. I didn't say me. Pay attention brats." Jonathan says with a roll of his eyes. That just make all of the ones still there face fault and anime fall over. "You really just like throwing us off don't you?"

"Yes I do. I'm old, I need something to do or entertain me or….. I just wander off and I can't do that right now. Now to answer those questions: what I'm hoping this will do, is help these kids get used to the idea that a lot of strange things are out there. And it is far removed from the world of quirks." Jonathan explains while putting down his book.

He then goes on to explain that he knows where all of the kids are. Thanks to a touch of tracking magic he placed on most of them. "Izuku's dissipated thanks to the Campione immunity, and I lost Reiko's due to him most likely grabbing onto her to save her. And as for Aizawa, he'll be back."

Vlad then steps up and ask how he can be so sure. Jonathan just snorts before saying, "trust me. He'll be back here in….. five, four, three, two, one." And right as Jonathan says one, Aizawa bursts through the bushes again. The same ones he went through in the first place. While Jonathan is saying, 'told you' to the rest Aizawa runs off in another direction. Making sure to run straight, and not make any curving or winding steps through the brush and trees.

But he winds up back with the rest of the teachers group. "What the Hell is going on?!" Aizawa shouts, pulling at his hair again. Jonathan snorts before saying, "it's the magic of Vanaheim. One of three things will likely happen if you wander here without the gods permission. One: you'll go around and around in circles. Two: you'll run into some beast or monster from Norse myth. And probably get eaten or killed. And three: you'll run into one of the more sentient magical creatures and may… well it will kinda depend on which one you meet and what their mood is like that day."

Aizawa tries to make some kind of sentence to tell off Jonathan, but he can't decide where to start. And he ends up bashing his head against a tree at the illogical things before all of them. All Might decides to test what Jonathan said, and leaps as hard as he can in a direction. He passes through a cloud as he is going and then aims for a clearing.

When he lands though, he is right back where he started in the clearing where Jonathan is sitting under a tree. "Once again, told you so. The magic of the realm only dissipates around me. Meaning, it'll be mostly canceled out around my body. I'd say, 300 feet. Maybe? So, unless you want to wander aimlessly, relax for the time being." All Might and Midnight just shrug and decide to gather up some wood and other items for a fire.

Vlad then decides to ask if the kids will be fine. "Given what you described, I'm really worried about them." "Good. Means you're a good teacher, and willing to actually LISTEN! Don't worry. I talked with a few of the Vanir before I dropped all of us here. They agreed to give most of the kids some minor protection. Most of the extra dangerous creatures won't get near them. It's the slightly less dangerous though that they might have to worry about." Jonathan says before going back to his book.

With the kids though they are all freaking out in various ways. Xeimei had been dropped with Monoma, Ochaco, Sato, and Nirengeki. After seeing a massive troll come out of a hillside with a yawn before walking off, Sato fainted and fell back onto the loudmouth of 1-B. "Will someone get this walking wall of muscle off of me?!" Monoma shouts. Ochaco and Nirengeki work to get the big guy off of Monoma, while Xeimei tries to use a locating spell.

"What are you doing?" Ochaco asks the mage among them after moving Sato off. "I'm trying to locate everyone else. My guess is this is Master Jonathan's way of introducing us to more of the magical world. So, we should all be in the same plane of existence." Xeimei says while trying make the spell. Nirengeki then asks what plane that would be, and Xeimei just nonchalantly responds with, "Vanaheim I think. Or one of the other Norse realms."

Upon hearing that Monoma and Nirengeki freaked out themselves. While Ochaco….. she just sat down before drooping her head and sighing. "Its gonna keep being like this isn't it?" she asked Xeimei with a half dead look in her eyes. Xeimei looked up from her spell and thought a bit about that. "Yeah probably. If Izuku and I are going to be here, then there's a good chance you all might get wrapped up in." Xeimei says before turning back to her locator spell.

Monoma then starts in on the mage girl. Berating her and her so called 'master' on the fact they are all getting dragged into insane situations. Xeimei tries not to let it affect her, but she still feels the sting of his harsh words. Which awards the blonde asshole with a punch in the face first from Ochaco, then a double impact hit from Nirengeki to his groin. Then Sato, who had just woken up to hear all of that, grabbing the jerk and suplexing his head into the ground.

"Please tell me he's not always like that." Sato asks Nirengeki. Who just sighs before saying he has a serious inferiority and superiority complex. "One would be bad enough, but he seems to have two. The former I think is more related to his quirk, and the fact he can't do anything unless someone else is around. And the latter is….. Kendo and I think it may have to do with him overcompensating for his shortcomings." Nirengeki says after apologizing profusely to Xeimei.

The Chinese mage pushes past it and finishes up her spell to try and find the rest of their classmates. "Okay I can't find Izuku, but given the bit I've been able to make out with the tracking spell….. I think he's by this large bay or lake area. Maybe." "It looks like everyone's been split up into five-man teams." Nirengeki says while looking over the map that Xeimei was projecting. Ochaco agrees, though she asks how the spell worked. "It uses the principal of the five elements to make a map and note human elements based around those elements." Xeimei starts before starting a long spiel that eventually shifts into Chinese.

Her group sweat drops at this, and they eventually snap her out of it. "Okay, we need to find the rest. Or at least as many as we can find." Nirengeki says. With a nod, and Sato picking up the blonde asshole of 1-B, they head out. While they have been working on some of that the four main pervs of the hero class are with Bondo. To one of the teams complaint. So, the glue spraying boy blast him and leaves Mineta trapped on the side of a cliff. "At least until you apologize." Bondo says with a sniff.

Kaminari apologizes first, before going over to tell Mineta off. "Look I am actually sorry. I just don't have a filter and I almost always say what is on my mind!" Mineta defends himself, while also getting nervous about the snow storm that seems to be blowing their way. While the 1-B group is tempted to leave the short purple perv to freeze…. They also know that wouldn't be a heroic thing to do. So they help the less perverted member of 1-A remove Mineta from the side of the mountain.

Near a volcano, Todoroki is standing alongside Pony, Tetsutetsu, Sero, and Koda. And trying to fight a fire breathing red dragon. "OKAY! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Tetsutetsu and Sero shout after being set on fire by the beast. Todoroki tries to cover them with his ice, but the creature keeps breaking through it or burning it away like it is nothing. 'I'm not only getting frostbitten, but I'm losing badly. I can't beat this thing!' Todoroki thinks to himself. Off to the side Pony keeps firing her horns to distract the dragon, and saying to Todoroki, "this isn't a pokemon battle! Ice doesn't beat a dragon!"

Koda meanwhile has been hiding the whole time behind a rock. But after the dragon blasts through another wave of ice, and then pounces on Pony he steels his courage. He then shouts out, "PLEASE STOP MIGHTY BEAST! WE DO NOT WISH TO FIGHT YOU!" Surprisingly, the dragon does stop. Koda thinks that he might have influence with the dragon and could maybe use it to find the others.

Until it speaks. "So strange child of man, you can speak even to my instincts," the dragon says with a curious eye directed at the quietest member of 1-A. Koda feels the weight of the gaze from the massive beast upon him and is about to relieve himself. But with a gulp he manages to hold himself together. "I…. I just wanted to….. protect my classmates….." Koda says while trembling under the dragon's gaze.

The beast's mouth then curls into a slight smile and he chuckles a bit before saying, "do you intend to slay me young one? To be a hero for defeating a dragon?" Koda gulps again before saying, "I'm trying to be a hero to save others. Animal and people alike. I was only trying to stop you to save the others." The dragon pulls back slightly from Koda before letting out a massive laugh. One that makes it feel as if the mountain is trembling.

"I suppose I can let it slide that you were in my territory. The Vanir had mentioned that some strange humans would be coming to the realm. But I didn't expect anything like you all," the dragon says while turning back to the mountain. Koda then collapses onto his back, while the hard head runs up to him proclaiming him the manliest among them. "I only saw the end of the conversation, but you stood up to that dragon and asked him to go easy on us, right?" Tetsutetsu says with excitement.

The dragon then laughs a bit before claiming that Koda intrigued him. "As well as his willingness to try and stand up to his superior. And not to try and be some fool dragon slayer. But just to keep all of you safe." This gets the steel skinned hero student's eyes wider than before. With Tetsutetsu suddenly going prostrate before Koda. Claiming him, "the current Avatar of Manliness!"

The dragon then steps out and speaks to the teens again. "A brave hero deserves a steed or partner to help him along. I think this could do for you." The dragon then looks up and from the sky comes a wyvern. The dragon explained that he called it to them as it was a subordinate of his. "While I rule it with ferocity and intimidation, I believe you boy could do something different."

Koda is wide eyed again at what the dragon is suggesting. 'I've only ever controlled animals from Earth. But I guess I could try,' the Anivoice user thinks before standing in front of the wyvern. The creature is eyeing him up, as if about ready to pounce and eat its next meal. Koda then steels himself again and says, "I have no intention of controlling or demanding you do anything. Right now, I just want to say….. hello." As Koda is saying this, he raises his left hand while looking away from the beast.

While both the red dragon and wyvern are a bit confused, the former sees this as intriguing. While the latter, is curious about this strange human that seems to be able to speak to it. The wyvern eventually comes forward and puts its snout into Koda's hand while closing its eyes. Koda's eyes shoot open wide and he can eventually pet the wyvern.

Tetsutetsu agreeing more with his claim that Koda was the manliest person there. Aside from the dragon anyway. Sero meanwhile had finally woken up after the echoing roar of the dragon knocked him out. All the while though Todoroki was just looking at the matter with annoyance and a lot of self-doubt. 'I couldn't even phase that thing and was probably about to die. I've always been confident in my power. But against something like this, I was useless. Koda was the only hero here,' the bi colored teen thinks to himself while Koda is getting more acquainted with his new friend.

The wyvern is big enough that all of the students on the mountain could ride it, and it bows down to let them all on board. "This is so cool! I didn't think I'd ever do something like this!" Pony exclaims while climbing up on the wyvern's back. The dragon then congratulates Koda before asking for the boy's name. "It's Koda Koji." Koda says to the red dragon. He nods before saying he would remember the boy. Koda then asks the wyvern to take them down the mountain toward the bay.

For some like Ida, he is teamed with Juzo, Shoji, Ibara, and Yui. After running around for ten minutes and finding all manner of strange creatures in the woods, Ida returns to the rest with a report. "I have no idea where we are and I think we should probably make camp of some kind." Most of his team give him a flat look before going along with his suggestion.

Kinoko, Itsuka, Sen, Aoyama, and Ojiro come to much the same conclusion. Though they are by a river and decide to follow it down to the mouth. "And here we all thought this would just be the normal path of becoming heroes. That got thrown out the window fast." Ojiro says after watching and listening to a Nykr at one of the waterfalls of the river. The group appreciated the music the creature was playing, but they had to find the rest. The Nykr nodded before casting a small blessing on them for being a polite audience.

Jiro though was having a different problem. She had been enticed by a different musical Norse creature, and her team was trying to keep her from falling prey to it. Her sensitive hearing had picked up the sound of music being played, and she felt entranced to go towards it. And almost over a high cliff.

Luckily, Setsuna Jurota, Tokoyami, and Tsuyu managed to grab her in time. Though they had to work to drag the girl further away from the enchanting music. In a more meadow area, Toru was relaxing a bit with Manga, Rin and Shihai while watching various sprites and Faye creatures roaming around. Kamakiri though keeps trying to fight the beings. Only to be floated up in the air and unable to attack or even move.

While Izuku and his group are making a camp near the lake, which turned out to be a bay, with a bit of help from the Selkies they met earlier. "I don't know what you were thinking when you brought us here brother. But I hope everyone else is okay." Izuku says while picking up a large tree to use for possible building. And wondering just how long they will all be in the world of Vanaheim.

So that is a bit of what I had in mind for this next couple of chapters. We'll see more of what could happen to rest eventually. As well as what new opponent Izuku will have to deal with while in this Norse realm. Please review!
