Chapter 3-Out of the Frying Pan

"How much further Kay?" Arthur fumbled about his hands in front of him because a blindfold was over his eyes, the only reason why he(she) hadn't bumped into anything minor was that Kay was guiding her (While occasionally bumping her into small objects)

"Hold your horses Arti, we're almost there" Kay was struggling to hold in a laugh as he guided her to the barn Ector owned, he'd been working on a gift for her for months now, he certainly wasn't the best at it by a long shot, but he was determined to do it.

He opened the door and pulled Arthur in.

"You can open your eyes" They opened their eyes readily just to see the same old barn.

"What am I supposed to be looking at?" He flicked a finger against his(her) skull and pointed at something covered in a big blanket. He walked over and pulled the blanket off revealing what lay beneath.

"What do you think?" Kay had such a proud look on his face fit for a grand achievement but when complemented with the actual product he made Arthur just want to burst out laughing.

It was a throne or at least it was supposed to be, the general shape was there but it was clear that it was a beginner's work with it being lopsided and creaky to the touch. The carvings on the sides clearly had a lot of effort put into them but that didn't stop them from being bad (Lions are not supposed to look like cows).

"A king should have a throne worthy of them"

'Did he just insult me?' The one thing that kept Arthur from thinking this entire thing was a prank was the sheer pride and happiness on Kay's face. It was a sign that even if he didn't want him(her) to be king he'd support him(her) all the way, so he(she) gave an honest joyful smile.

"It's amazing Kay, I mean it" And he(she) did, with every part of his(her) heart. They traced the figures on the throne and laughed.

"What?"

"It's a cow" He (she giggled), Kay gave a noise of offense but the two grinned like loons.

"I'll always be your brother Arthur so no matter what happens I'll do my best to stick by you" He ruffled his(her) hair and she sat down on that creaky chair. One day it would be replaced with a glorious fearful throne but for now, it was here, and it was pure.

"Did my fall come because you broke that promise or because you kept it?"

(Linebreak)

Harker breathed in the cold air as he got off the transport, it had been a troubling ride here (putting his life in the hands of other mages had always made him uncomfortable) but he had to admit this was a rather beautiful place. The ever-falling snow upon the ground as Aurora's danced across the sky, stars glittering in the night sky, and in the middle like a fang piercing the heavens stood the mountain of Chaldea.

"Get moving boy, the briefing is starting soon, and you need to be checked on by the doctor" The one speaking was one of the gruff mercenaries that he never bothered to learn the name of, they struck him as oddly young. Checking his watch, it was about 9 o'clock, he really needed to get to orientation but a doctor's visit was mandatory. Hmm

"Lead the way" One of the mercenaries led the way through white sterile rooms before finally arriving before a medical bay. It was clear from the noises from within that he was busy. A roundish French man came walking by and heard the noise, took one look at the door, and muttered "That damn simp…" before walking back grumbling. "I'll ask him later"

Harker pointed at the door. "Should I enter?" The mercenary gave a noise of disgust and replied with a curt "No"

They stood in silence trying to ignore the doctor. "Ah, Magi-Mari I'll gladly help you!" Harker inched away from the door, it seemed like the doctor was… very in touch with his desires. The mercenary almost looked apologetic for this.

"So, Nepotism?"

They shrugged looking dead inside.

"Well then"

'This is my life now'

To his fortune footsteps stole his attention from the horror show behind him. A blond girl in a suit was walking down the hall, an awfully familiar girl. That girl looked upon Harker with recognition and increasing trepidation.

'Funny she's wearing the same eye-patch I gave… Oh, you've got to be fucking- '

A fist slammed into his face sending him flying into the door causing the manchild inside to screech in terror. He rubbed his jaw trying to gain back feeling.

"Hello to you too Ophelia"

The mercenary slinked to the side trying to make herself disappear, Harker didn't really blame her he wouldn't want to face an irate evocationist either much less one as powerful as she (Though it had been years Ophelia was never one to do things by halves especially when it came to studying).

"What are you doing here Alva" her voice as tense and taut as a violin bow.

"Why I thought I'd go for a midnight stroll when I found- ACKGH FUCK!" She stomped on his knee. "Geez you're just as humorless as ever"

"What. Are. You. Doing. Here" Huh he used that exact same tone with Einstein.

"(Sigh)Had a deal with my father in which I do one task for him, though if I knew you were here, I might have told him to screw off" 'Disaster or no disaster I really would rather I didn't have to face you'

"And what does this task entail?" Her eye was just as intense as the last time they met though they held a considerably less amount of hurt.

"That I join your merry band of guardians"

"You hate using magic Alva" her face looked like it swallowed a lemon.

"Exactly" Her mind worked out exactly what that meant, and she held the bridge of her nose in irritation.

"(Sigh)All your good for I suppose" Ouch.

"Good to see you haven't changed in the slightest Ophelia" Her eye burst with rage and she stomped on Harker's stomach, maybe the downright mocking tone pushed her too far.

He grinned and twisted the knife. "What an embarrassment Ophelia, a proper little mage shouldn't be bothered by things as minor as little old me" That was flagrantly false, most mages got insulted and became furious at the stupidest little things.

'You think having someone call your tie wacky wouldn't be a cause for murder…'

"You're an embarrassment to mages everywhere! Do you know how many would sacrifice their families for an origin like yours!" She put more pressure on his stomach. "But no you had to run away from it all leaving us all behind" Her argument started to break up and become inconsistent, she raised her foot again but this time when it came down Harker caught it.

"I'm not the one who burned all their bridges" he scowled as he remembered, he tried, he really did try to keep those few bright parts of that life before. But her rage and his fear...

Gritting his teeth he threw her off, making her land on her bottom, a ball of flame appeared in her hand and she looked ready to throw it at Harker who himself looked like he was ready to fight a boar. The mercenary whimpered in the corner.

"I know everyone's excited but that's no call for killing each other"

A clear voice cut through the tension like a sharp knife; Ophelia looked down in shame as she realized just how badly her emotions were affecting her. Harker however felt a surge of relief that soon disappeared as he turned to look at his savior.

'That has got to be the tackiest suit I've ever seen'

In a verdant green velvet suit with a purple tie and green top hat cane walking a man with what Harker would call natural 16th-century wig hair but brown.

"I apologize for my actions Mr. Lanuir they were unbecoming of me" Ophelia bowed slightly at the man.

"As long as it doesn't happen again then we should be good, don't want to have one of our master candidates dying now do we?" He gave a warm laugh as he picked up Harker off the ground, everything about him seemed to scream friendliness and trust so of course, Harker's instincts started screaming at him as soon as he saw the bastard.

"I… thank you Mr. Lanuir" Best he does nothing; well other than straighten his uniform. The man smiled "Please call me Lev"

"So, what were you two doing here?"

Ophelia was the first to respond. "I went to get something from my room"

"And I was here for my checkup but me and the mercenary over there- "he waved to the shaken man in the corner. "Decided we didn't want to see whatever was causing him to make those sounds"

"Roman was watching that virtual idol, again wasn't he?" Lev awkwardly scratched his cheek before knocking on the med-bay door.

"Are you there doctor?"

A timid voice came from behind the door.

"Is the fighting over?"

"Yes, doctor the fighting is over though one of the participants needs a checkup"

"Okay send him i- Aww man I missed the rest of Magi Mari's session!"

Ophelia grimaced.

"Are you sure he's qualified?" Harker was rather wary of the answer he was putting his well-being in his hands after all.

"Unfortunately, yes" Lev looked apologetic before gesturing to Ophelia. "Come on let's see if we can't find that item"

"Goodbye Doll" Ophelia clenched her fists because she knew under no circumstances was he complimenting her figure. Lev shook his head disapprovingly as they walked off to wherever the residential rooms were.

"I'm coming in, please clean up… whatever mess is in there" He opened the door to see a surprisingly sterile med-bay, and with a flushed face stood a man with wavy peach hair tied up in a ponytail, he took one look at Harker and cringed.

"Geez what the hell did you do to piss off Ophelia?" Roman dragged him to an exam table (thankfully the one farther away from his computer) and checked him over. "Stress in the knee… Bludgeoning on the stomach and face. Hmm you'll be fine just going to have some bruises"

"And the original check-up?"

"Oh Right, right" Roman started to put him through a battery of tests to see his general fitness, he passed with flying colors nothing to look out for, and no illnesses. "You are good to go" The two shook hands, he was a pretty good doctor despite his proclivities, speaking of which.

"Can I ask a question?"

"As long as I get to ask one in return"

"How old are you?"

"I'm about 29 wh- Hey don't give me that look!" The doctor seemed downright embarrassed at this. "Liking idols is a perfectly normal thing"

"Yes. Liking" Harker gave him a deadpan stare. Roman made a whimper of defeat "Let's just move on"

"What's the deal between you and Ophelia?"

"What do you mean?"

"Ophelia rarely interacts with anyone and tries to work mostly off of logic instead of emotion so the fact that she's suddenly driven to rage by your mere presence means you must have a history of some sort" Harker gave him an appraising look.

"You're smarter than you look and act and behave" Roman groaned "Please just answer the question"

"We were childhood friends" 'Not the exact truth but close enough'

"Wait so why did she try to attack you then?

Harker sighed tiredly leaning back against the exam table.

"We didn't part on the friendliest terms but knowing her…. shame"

"Shame? What would she have to be ashamed about?"

He gave a tired look to the doctor. "Let sleeping dogs lie Roman what's done is done" He stood up and put his uniform back on, he sighed and walked to the door.

"Been nice meeting you Roman but I've got an orientation to get to. Next time could you leave the idol alone and focus on your job?"

"It gets so boring though"

He walked out the door to see the mercenary shaking in the corner; probably his first-time seeing mages threaten each other, the mage that runs this place must be rather orderly or not have many mages under her control.

"First time seeing a threat that wasn't Roman's internet history?"

She nodded.

'Well, she's definitely going to be of no help'

(Linebreak)

'I really should have asked for directions'

This place was a labyrinth, and he had no idea where he was going thankfully just as he was beginning to think of how long it would take for him to starve his savior arrived in the form of the strangest animal he's ever seen.

"Fou!" It was a tiny little thing that while not completely trusting of him it was curious.

"Hey there," He knelt down on one knee, resting his arm across it. He tried to poke the fluffy thing, but it jumped to the side and swiped at him.

"Feisty little thing aren't you" He smiled a little as he tilted his head. "Any chance you know where the briefing room is?"

The little thing nodded and ran down a corridor. Harker stares at it for a moment before it came back with an irritated "Fou!"

"Not like I have any other ideas" Harker walked alongside the thing for quite some time coming closer and closer to a great noise which assumed to be the briefing room.

"There you are Fou, oh excuse me" A pinkish-haired girl came running up to the two though her approach became more nervous when she noticed Harker.

'Why does she bring to mind eggplants?'

He shrugged off that thought and greeted her. "This thing yours?"

She jumped a bit before coughing into her hand. "Um... sort of, who are you?"

"Harker"

"There's no master candidate by that name" Her voice was tense, and she seemed ready to fight, how she planned to do that was a toss-up, she seemed neither trained in unarmed combat or magecraft.

Hoping to avoid that he replied. "Alva Aldain, I just prefer Harker"

"Oh, I see. Wait why aren't you in the briefing room?" She still hadn't lost the tension though she no longer seemed ready to jump into battle.

"I got lost and ended up following…" he twirled his hand at her she realized this was a cue to fill in the blank.

"Fou"

"That's really his name?"

"Yes" She seemed confused by the question.

"Is he a Pokémon or something?"

"What's a Pokémon?" Her head tilted to the side; some would probably think it cute but all that was going through Harker's mind was.

'Definitely some kind of Homunculus'

"It isn't important, mind showing me to where I'm supposed to be" She nodded and motioned for him to follow her. They passed several halls in awkward silence, "Eggplant" seemed awkward and afraid to engage in anything that wasn't part of her programming, and well, Harker was never the biggest fan of homunculi. The only source of noise besides their feet was the dog… cat…. Squirrel… thing let's go with thing.

"So, what is he?"

She jumped in her own skin and cautiously looked back "What?"

He snorted and rolled his eyes "Am I really that scary?" Her face turned red with embarrassment as she stammered out excuses. "Forget it, please just answer the question"

"We don't really know what he is" Fou jumped into her arms and snuggled in.

"He just appeared one day?"

"Yes?... umm it's not if we took no precautions, we had him checked by various experts"

"And what did they say?"

"Mostly the same thing, we don't know what it is. Though the Scottish expert used a lot more expletives to describe it"

"I would have expected a mage to try and kill it then"

"That likely wouldn't have ended well considering we don't even know what it is"

"Hasn't stopped mages before but see your point" 'Wait a minute Scottish, Fou. They named the bloody thing Drunk! Literally Drunk. Hah!'

They came to a great chamber and she pointed inside, he nodded his gratitude and they both tried to slink into the crowd without anyone noticing they were gone but as the mage in front Olga was it? Turned to him with fire in her eyes, Harker realized he never got her name.

(Linebreak)

"-LY, ITCHY, RECTANGULAR, AND LACTOSE INTOLERANT" This had been going on for several minutes now and Harker was pretty pissed, it wasn't his fault that she made this place a labyrinth with no directions so why is he being yelled at! Just punish him and be done with it, no need to drag this out for the sake of hearing yourself talk. This is when he should've calmed down and let it be, this was his new boss and there was no human right's charter to keep her from making his life hell.

"Are you done listing all the adjectives you know?" Let it be known Harker was not always the most reasonable despite what he may say.

"'WHAT WAS THAT!" Damn she was pissed, the people behind her the (A-team presumably) were much less so. The edgelord 'Is he really wearing mascara' looked smug as if he was proven right about something, Ophelia was just face-palming 'Didn't that bring up memories' but she had an air of nostalgic bitterness, the Chinese lady with twin tails had her nose in a book so she probably had checked out of the situation a while ago 'Smartest one here', the man next to her was a ridiculously flamboyant man 'At least it didn't burn the eyes, magic is the source of so many problems', The man in the middle 'Likely the leader' was just rubbing his forehead in frustration, the guy with the glasses looked like he really wanted to laugh this all 'Shall we ring a sadistic flag?' And the last one looked like he was somewhere else 'He's... off'. Let it be known that all these thoughts were subconscious for his main line of thinking was currently consumed in. 'PUNCH HER IN THE FACE, PUNCH HER IN HER CUNT FACE!'

"I'm sorry have you gone deaf from your screeching? I thought I was PRETTY CLEAR!"

"DO NOT RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME YOU LAZY MALCONTENT!"

"LAZY? HOW IN HELL AM I LAZY?"

"HOW IS THAT WHAT YOU OBJECT TO?!"

"I'M PLENTY REBELLIOUS THEREFORE IT"S TRUE!"

"YOU PETULANT CHILD!"

"BITCH!"

"ARRAGONT SOP!"

"CUNT!"

"COLUMBUS!"

"COLUMBUS?!" Beryl dropped to the floor laughing but the two figures shouting at each other didn't notice in the slightest.

"HE GOT LOST AND COMMITED GENOCIDE AS I'M SURE YOU'LL DO WITH YOUR FACE!"

"I"VE BEEN HERE FOR A TOTAL OF FOUR HOURS! DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG THIS PLACE IS?! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO STARVE TO DEATH!"

'"WHO KNOWS YOU MIGHT"VE CAUSED THIS NEW DISASTER AND THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN YOUR JUST REWARD!"

"FUCK OFF YOU COULDN'T PUT UP A MAP FOR, I DON'T KNOW, THE NEW PEOPLE COMING TO WORK HERE?!"

"YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN GUIDED AND ESCORTED!"

"WELL, THAT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WORK!"

"THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN MATTERED! NORMAL PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO AT LEAST RUN THROUGH THIS PLACE UNTIL THEY FIND SOMETHING OR BE ABLE TO GET TO THERE END FASTER!"

"MAYBE I WOULD'VE BEEN FASTER IF YOUR DOCTORS WEREN'T BUSY FAPPING TO A 2-D CHARACTER!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Akuta rested her head on her book.

"I'm so bored"

Ophelia snorted.

'You haven't changed a bit Alva'

(Linebreak)

Harker was sitting in the corner with a triumphant smile on his face. He won that argument (well if you could call it that) and he got out of having to deal with those damn coffins. Her exact words were something like

"I WILL NOT HAVE SUCH AN IMPUDENT PERSON SERVING ON STANDBY!"

But with more fancy expletives, Fun times. He closed his eyes with a sense of satisfaction.

"I know you'd manage to escape being put in one of the coffins, but I forget how entertaining your reactions can be"

He snapped his head to the side before snapping back to look at his surroundings, frozen, everyone and everything frozen. Shit.

"Bloody hell you can control time"

"To an extent but essentially yes"

He waved a shaky hand towards the frozen scene before him.

"Extent? You fucking froze time!"

Einstein shook his head.

"I pulled us out of the flow of time"

Harker gave a panicked look as he grimaced, he looked to his watch; frozen.

"How is that any different?"

"We cannot interact with anything while we are in this state, we are merely watchers of a single scene. Infuriating at times but it allows one to focus on what's happening or at least a pause so one can breathe"

"That's not-(sigh) everything is about to explode isn't it"

"Yes" He slapped his face, he was really hoping that Einstein would take it as a joke.

"... Fuck"

He leaned back into the corner.

"How, where, when?"

"Magical bomb, center of the room, about a minute" He listed it off as he was talking about a grocery list.

"What… Why didn't you do anything! You can control time surely you can deal with a fucking bomb" Harker was shaking anger, normally he wouldn't care or at least pretend so but this screamed of a bigger play than just mass murder.

"I can't"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T!" His fury was full-blown now.

Einstein looked to the side, shame crossing his features. "This is how thing are supposed to progress or at least what gives us better odds"

"ODDS? ODDS! OUR LIVES ARE NOT GAMBLING CHIPS" Harker's outrage filled the air, but it didn't even scratch Albert's steely resolution.

"With odds this high that's the only thing they can be"

"What the hells is so important that you'd treat us all like disposable chips" He was doing his best to calm himself but was quickly failing.

"I can't say, they would notice"

"DAMN YOU!" His fist flew towards Albert's face, but it was turned aside with ease. "Useful enough to be thrown away and that's it?"

"That's not... You're more important than that"

"THEN WHAT! WHAT AM I HERE FOR THEN, AM I JUST TO BE YOUR WITNESS?! OR AM I JUST SOME DOG YOU TOOK AN INTEREST IN TO SATISFY YOUR DESIRES"

Einstein had one look on his face and it was easily translatable. I'm done with your shit.

Einstein grabbed him by the shirt and lifted him up in the air shoving a fist in the teen's stomach with a talisman in hand. "Arckgh, bastard!"

"You are here to do your damn job. Save. The. World" Dropping him to the ground he threw him the talisman.

"This will protect you and anyone near you, I'll tell you when to activate it"

"You can't save anyone in the coffins, but you can save those outside it, you won't have much time" His proverbial mask slipped and Harker saw the man who was so very tired for but a moment "I'm sorry for what you will go through Harker but this was the only way I could see"

He sighed deeply.

"I'll see you when this is over or maybe a bit before then" Time began to move as he disappeared as if it was only his presence that allowed them to live outside the confines of reality for a moment. But Harker really didn't care about that tidbit right now.

'Save the world, him?'

He had to be joking but oddly enough those three stupid words brought to mind an old memory as soon as time started once more, a beautiful woman speaking to him on a bridge a look of disappointment and relief, he'd forgotten about it years ago so why is it coming to mind now? This isn't the bloody time for it.

He jumped to his feet and blitzed to the nearest person out of a coffin, Olga, strange but doesn't matter, for if he hesitates then he's alone. Time passed by so very slowly as adrenaline rushed through him it made him think when he really shouldn't why does he care? The one person he does know is soon to be entombed in her coffin, the person before him was the very one he spent ten minutes screaming at so why is he charging without care? Why is his only hesitation coming from the fact that he isn't hesitating?

"What the hell are- OOF!" He collided with her full-on knocking her to the ground Lev's face turned into a snarl and a voice spoke to him.

"Now"

The clock stroked midnight, magic exploded, the talisman activated and the only thought that Harker had as he flew through the air was the words spoken to him by that strange woman when he was still a child.

"Will you be there when the fires are high?"

(Linebreak)

Harker coughed up smoke as his eyes shot open, he rolled on his stomach and he pushed himself up with his fists. Everything he hurt but it was no time for whining, no time for fear. He dropped to his knees as the cost of magic came back with a belt, he vomited out blood and cringed at the pain.

"WARNING GENERATOR OPERATION STOPPED. POWER LEVELS CRITICAL."

"Fuck" He pushed through the pain and got to his feet, shakily standing up and looked at the scene before him. Fire crawled up the walls as the machine in the center was black and still.

"SWITCHING TO THE BACKUP GENERATOR. ERROR. AUTOMATIC SWITCH UNAVAILABLE. MANUAL SWITCH REQUIRED"

Where the fuck is this generator? Can't fix it without knowing where it is.

'Probably can't fix it all' No, no time for doubt, doubt means death and death means… the end, not yet at least he's still got a life to live before he surrenders before that inevitability. He was drawn out of his thoughts by pained whimpering under a pile of metal.

"My- my legs… I can't feel my legs…" He stumbled over to the pile and began to throw off bars of metal ignoring the burning it caused, funny the pain magic brought to him makes this seem like nothing. He uncovered the head to unveil Olga, her face streaked with tears and covered in ash, it was heartbreaking in a way like a lion being broken, all it's pride stripped away.

"Hold on Olga" She looked at him, his presence allowing her to focus through whatever pain she was going through.

"WARNING CONTAINMENT WALL WILL CLOSE IN 40 SECONDS. THOSE REMAINING IN CENTRAL AREA, EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY"

'"It's you…" Her voice was weak and shaky, but his presence gave her some rage. "That… impudent bastard" He grinned with his bloody teeth as he moved more metal off her.

"That's right it's me, focus will ya wench. it's insulting for a guy to have a pretty girl forget about him" He brushed away the tears on her face as more life came back to her eyes and she growled in fury. "Ass…"

"Yep"

'Keep your grip Olga, don't let go. Not yet, stories not done you see? Don't want to see the end of the story?'

"WARNING SYSTEM SWITCHING TO FINAL PHASE OF RAYSHIFT."

Oh No.

"COORDINATES, AD 2004, JANUARY 30TH, FUYUKI JAPAN"

"Fuck!" He pulled another girder off to see…

So that's why she can't feel her legs.

"LAPLACE SHIFTING PROTECTION ESTABLISHED. SINGULARITY ADDITIONAL FACTOR SLOT SECURED"

"What's happening. Oh god" She looked down and suddenly she was a lot more awake, of course, that's when the pain struck, and she started screaming. Maybe that's why he didn't notice moaning and shifting that began on the other side of the room.

"UNSUMMON PROGRAM SET. PLEASE START FINAL ADJUSTMENTS"

"I've got you" Harker pulled Olga out and threw her arm over his shoulder stumbling to the door.

'A lot easier to carry than she would've been' He grimly chuckled.

He started to walk to the door when a red light illuminated the background, the formerly silent and dead black sphere was now a glowing red earth. Olga reached out despite the pain and spoke even if it was nothing more than a whisper in strength.

"No…"

"WARNING ALL OBSERVATION STAFF. CHALDEAS' STATE HAS CHANGED"

"That can't be good"

"NOW REWRITING SHEBA'S NEAR FUTURE PREDICTION DATA…... UNABLE TO DETECT EXISTENCE OF MANKIND 100 YEARS IN NEAR EARTH FUTURE"

"Fuck!"

"UNABLE TO CONFIRM HUMAN SURVIVORS. UNABLE TO GUARANTEE MANKIND'S FUTURE"

The doors clamped shut behind them. "Damn" He sighed and looked for a clear space to sit.

"CENTRAL AREA SEALED. 180 SECONDS TILL INTERNAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURE"

He sat down and laid Olga's head on his lap.

'Guess that's it, for all of us' There was nothing he could do, there was nothing to fight or struggle against, there just wasn't enough time to do anything that mattered.

"COFFIN VITALS: MASTERS BASELINE NOT REACHED"

He tried to make her comfortable.

'At least one of us should die comfortable or at least in some measure of comfort'

"RAYSHIFT REQUIREMENT NOT MET/ SEARCHING FOR QUALIFYING MASTER…. FOUND."

'Wait' He looked up with renewed fire.

"CANDIDATE NO. 48 SET AS MASTER"

Everything began to glow, he held up his hand seeing it come apart into golden particles.

"UNSUMMON PROGRAM START. SPIRITRON CONVERSION START"

He grinned.

"RAYSHIFT BEGINNING IN 3"

'This isn't over'

"2"

'Not by a long shot'

"1"

'Cry havoc'

"COMMENCING GRAND ORDER"

'And let's shove these bastard's calamity up their fucking asses'
