The morning sun shone down on Tommy, who roused out of his sleeping bag, well-rested, when he noticed a cranky-looking Jeff, whom he asked. "Didn't get much sleep?"

"What do you think?" said Jeff. "That ghostly singing won't let me have any."

"What ghostly singing?" Tommy asked before a voice sang out. "Come all to the square!"

"That!" exclaimed Jeff, who plopped back down into his bag.

MAN #1:
Come all to the square!

GIRLS:
The market square! (2x)

MEAT SELLER:
Salted meat I'm sellin' there!
At the fair, laddie!

Tommy peeked through some bushes to see a procession of people walking towards a small village

MEN:
Come ye to the fair!

ALE SELLER:
Ale for sale or barter there!
At the square, laddie!

GIRLS:
Ale for sale or barter there!
At the square, laddie!

"Jeff, you might wanna take a look of this." said Tommy.

"Why?" groaned Jeff.

"Just come over here." said Tommy.

Jeff wearily got up from his bag and walked to where Tommy was, his eyes widened with surprise upon seeing the village that came out of nowhere, and the people that were in said village.

GIRLS:
Come all ye down!

MEN:
Ye, in the town
Come ye from the hills

WOOL SELLER:
Wool 'n' cloth I'm selling there!
At the square, laddie!

MAN #2:
Come ye to the fair!

ALL:
Come ye, all ye everywhere,
To the fair!
Come ye from the hills!
Come ye from the mills!
Come ye in the glen,
Come ye bairn,
Come ye men.
Come ye from the loom!
Come from pail an' broom!
Hear ye ev'rywhere:
Don't ye ken
There's a fair
Down on MacConnachy Square!

From where they're standing, Tommy and Jeff looked at their map, then at the village.

"Did you know this was there?" Tommy asked Jeff, who only shrugged while replying. "I haven't the slightest idea."

"Well, come on." said Tommy, who started to pack up. "Let's go in for a closer look."

"And find a place to rest for a bit." added Jeff, who did the same thing.

MILKMAID:
I'm sellin' a bit o' milk an' cream.
Come sip it an' ye will vow
That this is the finest milk an' cream
That ever came out a cow.
Though finest it is, the price is small,
With milk an' the cream alack!
There's nothin' to do but sell it all.
The cow winna take it back.

ALL:
Come all ye there (2x)
Come ye to the fair

SANDY:
Now all of ye come to Sandy here,
Come over to Sandy's booth.
I'm sellin' the sweetest candy here,
That ever shook loose a tooth.
I eat it myself an' there's no doubt,
It's creamy an' good an' thick,
So, laddies, I hope ye'll buy me out,
'Cause it's makin' me kind o' sick.

ALL:
Come ye to the fair! (2x)
Come ye in the glen,
Come ye bairn,
Come ye men.
Come ye from the loom!
Come from pail an' broom!
Hear ye ev'rywhere:
Don't ye ken
There's a fair
Down on MacConnachy Square!
