A/N: Guess who's back? Did you miss me? Probably not. But guess what? My writing is wayyy better than when I first started. No seriously, check my first post and you'll see the difference. I'm actually very proud of this one.

I only finished Outer Banks on the 28th, and as you can probably tell I am already obsessed. I watched both seasons in 8 days, I love it so much! And so this came to mind. Since it's a new show though, there's not much fanfiction, which is a shame, but there's plenty of TikTok edits and enough JJ Maybank imagines to keep me alive! Rudy Pankow is my new crush I think, the man is hella fine!

Disclaimer: I don't own Outer Banks or the characters associated with it. And I'm glad I don't, I would never be able come up with such an amazing storyline.

Rated T for sexual innuendos and language.

No crazy spoilers or anything, it's set anytime during the show after Sarah and John B start dating. Is that a spoiler? Oh well. Enjoy!

"You got a lot of stupid ideas, JJ. But this really takes the cake."

The Pogues were crouched outside the Cameron house. In the near distance, Sarah's bedroom light was turned on, but the rest of the house was dormant. It was only 9pm; surely they couldn't be back yet?

"Yeah? I didn't hear you come up with anything better, John B. This is the safest plan we've got."

John B scoffed. "Nothing is safe when it comes to you. So what, we just hide out here and hope that Ward and Rose don't return until later?"

You see, earlier in the day, Rose had had a tragic fall on the stairs and blacked out, meaning that she was holed up in the hospital with Ward. Sarah wasn't too concerned when she'd heard of the news.

"Those stairs are marble," she had said. "I've told her over and over again that it's not a good idea to wear heels when going up and down them. It was bound to happen."

"He's got a point, JJ," Pope spoke up. "They could be on their way back right now. How are we gonna get her out of there without being seen?"

JJ rolled his eyes at his friends' complete lack of trust in him.

"It's easy. We sprint across the grass, and then duck under those big trees. We'll throw a stone or something to grab her attention. She comes down, we go change and head on our way to party land." The blond took off his hat and rearranged his hair, probably in preparation to run, then placed it back on.

Kiara rolled her eyes at his vanity.

"Keep your voice down, will you? And you're forgetting one small detail. There are cameras," she pointed to multiple spots on the mansion, "everywhere."

There was a pause, and JJ sighed. He didn't think that far ahead. Of course a rich and fancy house as big as this would have top security.

"Not to mention that if she's grounded, her dad probably locked her in. She's not gonna be able to open the balcony door." Kie continued.

JJ slumped his head forward onto the wall. He really didn't think that far ahead.

"Well done, genius. So, how long do you think the cops will take to get here when Ward finds out we were trespassing?" John B said.

"She's your girlfriend, dude. I don't know why you're all berating me."

Multiple protests from John B and Pope rang out, while Kiara just rolled her eyes and stood up. Stretching her legs, she dug her foot into a crevice in the concrete wall and swung herself over. There was a faint grunt when she landed on the other side.

"Kie?" Pope called. The boys peeped their heads over, looking down at the girl.

"Are you boys gonna argue all night or come with? I think I might know a shortcut."

The guys looked at each other, shrugged, then one by one hopped over the wall with ease. Pope was last, and lost his footing, very nearly face planting the ground.

"Kie, where are we going? How do you know this place?" John B asked. He was close behind her, followed by JJ and a grumbling Pope.

"Sarah brought me here once. The night you all got wasted and passed out at your place. We snuck into her room and had a girls' night."

"Is that why there was no breakfast on the table when we woke up?" JJ teased.

"JJ, if you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth." Kiara spat back. "Now shush, we gotta be careful here. Right over there," she pointed to a nearby window with the curtains drawn, "is Wheezie's bedroom. If she hears us we don't know what she'll do."

"Wheezie?"

"Sarah's sister. Thirteen, I think. Very nosy."

They tiptoed along the path under very large trees, knowing that the leaves would provide just enough cover from prying eyes or quality cameras. When they approached Sarah's window, Kiara was careful to try and peek into it from afar, hopping but making sure that she was out of the range of the cameras. She wasn't tall enough though, so John B, the six-foot-one hunk of dude he was, offered to sit her on his shoulders.

Kiara, now elevated, could see that Sarah was on her bed, doing what looked like homework. She was dressed in a light t-shirt and shorts, clearly not expecting to be going out tonight.

It was so unfair. Rafe was only a couple years older and yet he didn't get grounded. He didn't get a curfew, or have to ask to go out and explain where he was going. Sarah knew where he was anyway; she'd been around his gang enough times to know when they'd been smoking coke or dealing to Tourons.

"You've got the best aim, J," Kiara picked up a small black pebble and handed it to him. The blond took a couple steps back, and threw it at the glass door, hitting it precisely in the middle. It ricocheted with a soft pang, and Kie could see Sarah looking up from her work. She caught sight of the doors in the mirror opposite her, and looked back to see something — someone — looking at her.

She got up to go to the balcony, and Kie wiggled and waved trying to grab her attention.

"Jeez, Kie, can you stop moving? I'm losing my balance." John B held his arms behind his head and onto Kiara's back to stop her from fidgeting.

Sarah pushed up to the doors and saw her friends below, specifically Kiara who was grabbing onto the balcony bars and beaming.

"You guys?" Sarah exclaimed in a muffled voice from behind the glass. "What are you doing here?"

"We came to rescue you," Kiara said. "Can you break out of there?"

She shook her head.

"My dad hid all of the keys and locked all of the windows."

"Do you have any spares?" John B asked hopefully.

"He hid those too. Believe me, I've tried."

The group stood in silence for a few seconds, unsure of what to say or do. They had come this far only for no way to get the Kook out of there.

"Unless…" Sarah ran off without another word, leaving her bedroom door wide open and a confused bunch of Pogues.

She returned about thirty seconds later, a grin on her face.

"The bathroom window is open! I think I can manage to squeeze through. That's if you guys can catch me," she added sheepishly.

"Bet," JJ said, never one who liked his strength challenged. "Around here, right?"

He walked around the side of the house to find a window open horizontally, like a door. Granted, it was quite small, but big enough that if Sarah squeezed herself tight she might be able to wiggle through.

The blonde grabbed a change of clothes and other accessories that were party appropriate and placed them in a backpack.

She chucked it first out of the window, which Pope caught smoothly, while Kiara slowly slid backwards over John B's shoulders and met the ground, giving him a quick peck on the cheek of thanks. John B being John B smiled, but as soon as she turned away grimaced and rubbed his neck in pain. JJ chuckled at him and received a glare in response.

"Alright, I'm here. I'm gonna go feet first, okay?" Sarah said as one of her trainers poked out of the window, then the rest of her legs followed. She sat uncomfortably on the ledge (since there's never really a way to sit comfortably on a window ledge) and scooched forward slightly as she watched the Pogues scramble to get into position. John B and Pope were facing each other closest to the window to catch Sarah's upper body, while JJ and Kie stood opposite each other next to them to catch her legs.

"Are you sure you won't drop me?"

"Come on, we're Pogues! No Pogue left behind. Even if they are an honorary Pogue." JJ added with a wink.

Sarah rolled her eyes, but took a deep breath while looking down to make sure that she would be landing in the right spot. She closed her eyes and pushed off.

There were no screams or disturbing yelps, so Sarah took that as a good sign to open her eyes. She found herself on the ground.

At least she thought it was the ground. Grass wasn't usually this squishy and muscly.

"Ugh."

So… she might've miscalculated a little bit. And maybe the majority of her person was engulfed by a certain brunette with a neck scarf.

"You guys okay?" Pope asked as he stood up, grabbing JJ's hand and pulling him up afterwards too.

"Well, there are no broken limbs. Or blood. I think. That's a win in my books." He answered, wincing at the jolt of the motion and touching his left ribs lightly where Kiara's foot had shot into him.

Sarah's leg was still on Kiara, who was mostly fine, except for a slightly bruised shoulder.

"Sorry, Kie. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry everyone. Damn." She looked over the four Pogues, feeling guilty about knocking them to the ground and nearly giving John B a concussion.

Right. John B. He was still wrapped around her, her head meeting his chest. One of his arms was wrapped around said head, while the other was around her midriff and his hand loosely laying on her butt.

"John B?"

He finally seemed to snap out of his daze at his name being called. Glancing around quickly for anyone that was hurt, which he was glad there wasn't, he let out a laughing sigh of relief and let his head hit the ground.

"Uh, John B?

Oh, shit. His hand… his hand was— shit.

He quickly removed his left hand, internally freaking out.

"Sarah, I— oh my God. I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to, I promise it was an accident! Fuck, I'm sorry…"

He released her carefully and slowly stood up, bringing her with him and apologising over and over again.

Sarah, however, just giggled. She beame at John B's antics and took in the view, his Adam's apple bobbing gently and his face tinged pink. He ran a hand through his hair sexily but shamefully, as his hat had fallen off in the commotion, but all the blonde could see was a tall, sexy man. He had practically wrapped himself around her, for goodness' sake! She had felt every ripple of muscle and abs that he sported, and his large hand was enveloping her head so she wouldn't get hurt. He'd probably sacrificed his own safety for hers.

John B's words slowly died off from his lips as he realised that Sarah was just laughing. And staring at him… seductively?

"Sarah? Are you okay?"

She shook out of her trance, trying not to think about what other things his large hands could possibly do.

"Yeah, great. I'm fine. Are you all fine? Yeah? Let's go."

She bounced off towards the wall they had jumped over, linking arms with Kie and trying not to squeal about the butterflies she felt. Kiara, who had watched the whole thing, just laughed at her friend and jumped over the wall, eager to get out of earshot of the boys so that they could gossip about what the heck had just happened.

"Dude," Pope broke the silence between the three boys, "what the fuck was that?"

Momentarily, John B had forgotten that he and Sarah had had company. Now, however, he was looking up to see a surprised Pope and a sniggering JJ, who had a shit-eating grin on his face.

The brunette sighed. "I'm never gonna hear the end of this am I?"

"Not a chance!" The other two shouted back, racing each other back to the wall.

Once they had all made it over the wall, they hopped back into the Twinkie, still in disbelief that they had actually gotten away with it. They were still parked on the opposite side of the mansion, breathing in a minute of fresh nighttime air. John B was driving and Sarah rode shotgun, while Kiara was in between Pope and JJ in the back, the latter who had started rolling a blunt to pass around.

Not even two minutes later, bright headlights flashed blindingly behind them. A steady hum of a familiar BMW approached them from afar, and Sarah froze.

"Isn't that…?" Kiara began.

"My dad's car! Oh shit, he's back, we really need to go!"

John B didn't need any further warning. He pushed the handbrake down, moved the car out of neutral and sped off as fast as he could, making the others whoop and cheer in celebration of their perfect getaway.

Ward Cameron merely scowled at the group of kids driving away at high speeds in the middle of the night, not recognising the vehicle nor the people inside.

Beside him was his wife Rose, sporting a sling on her left arm and wound tape above her eye.

"Damned Tourons," she muttered.

This was meant to be just a oneshot, but if you guys want a part two of the party, please let me know! I'm happy to write one :)

Peace out,
