He was panting heavily, sweat trickling down his forehead and his long bangs trapping most of the perspiration. Her body ached, her mind was heavy, her knuckles completely raw dripping drops of blood and her heart was beating faster than anyone in many centuries.
"Give up already, young lady? Do you accept the terms of my training? "-Asked Catra, enraged by the determination that the blonde showed, she hoped that by now she was already bowed.
"Never!" Adora she answered stubbornly. The warriors leaped in front of her, eight at a time, surrounding her on every possible flank. They pressured her, forcing her to shift focus between them in just a few milliseconds. I growl, dispatching them all with a quick combination of punches and kicks. Both her arms and her legs were tired, her bluish eyes stung with sweat blurring her vision.
"You have been fighting my warriors for 36 hours straight and do you not want to see it? They will never stop, it will never end. They will keep coming, one after another until you take the only possible solution, until you kill them. That is the only way. You can never eliminate crime until you kill those who have committed it. Kill these warriors, Adora.-Catra ordered passing in front of her henchmen, standing in front of one, quickly digging her claw into the girl's stomach, turning her inside to do as much damage as possible, when she pulled it out her stained fur was visible of blood.
A tired Adora was standing in a large cavern, surrounded by several combatants, around her were many unconscious bodies on the ground, all of which Adora refused to kill. Her teacher was pressuring her, as a final test of her training, to break the code she promised never to break: kill a living thing.
Adora, however, was never too interested in cracking that code.
"No, never!"-shouted the blonde with all the strength she had left
"Stubborn girl, don't stop pressing her...Kill her!"
Adora grabbed one of her staffs, watching the warriors as they lowered themselves into the well. "Come on then…" Adora dared, growling and grinning like a wild woman. "Come on, come get me!"
The warriors charged at her, the first of hers landing with a downward strike, Adora blocked and redirected her, quickly directing her attention to the next one as she attempted a spin kick. She blocked that woman's foot, making her lose her balance. Her third managed to punch her in the face, but Adora shrugged it off, grabbing the girl by her shoulder and kneeing her in the ribs. The first to attack from her came back again, hitting her with several combos. Adora put her weight on her front leg and moved out of the way of all of them, using her back leg to cross the woman's shin before tripping her up and knocking her out with a swift blow.
Two more went down again, intending to fight her. From the top of the ledge, Catra watched, disgusted.
"Send more warriors!" Catra ordered Scorpia
"We can't, my teacher"-answered Scorpia with her eyes lowered
"Why?" -asked Catra irritably upon hearing that her order had been questioned
"He has beaten too many and the others have yet to recover. The remaining girls are not willing to fight her"-Scorpia commented with great respect to her teacher.
"What? They will do what they are ordered if they don't want to die!" Catra growled, clenching her teeth, closing her hand in a fist, digging her claws into the palm of her hand.
"They prefer to die. She fights like a demon, she doesn't look human she's almost like a…monster"
Adora knocked out both warriors at once, causing them to fall face-first to the ground.
"Everyone fears her. None of them think that she is human. They think she is….something else."
Adora smiled to herself, swaying as she realized that they would come no more. With that smile on her face, she fell back and her vision faded into darkness.
