Chapter Eight
"Mm." Aailyah hummed, fingers tangled in Elijahs dark hair, chasing his mouth as he pulled back. Elijah chuckled, hands tightening on her middle as he pulled back, resting his forehead against hers as their breathing evened out, the slowly cooling water from the shower still raining down on them. He lifted her off of him, her back sliding against the shower walluntil her feet hit the ground, holding her until she found her balance.
"Okay?" Elijah asked quietly.
"Very." Aailyah grinned, pushing up on her toes and kissing him again, fingers trailing down his throat, nails scraping gently over the ridges of the bite mark she'd left against his jugular minutes ago.
"Careful." Elijah growed, lips brushing over her jaw as he reachde past her, turning off the water. "If you keep that up we'll have to take another shower."
"What a tragedy." Aailyahs eyes trailed down the scratch marks trailing over his shoulders and down his back. Elijah handed her a towel and she dried off quickly, towel drying her hair as she walked out of the bathroom towards her closet, smirking when she felt Elijahs eyes trailing down her body. She quickly threw on a pair of sleep shorts and one of Elijahs Tshirts, pouting slightly when Elijah got dressed. Elijah smirked, holding her jaw and runninghis thumb over her lip.
"Dont pout." he warned, eyes darkening when she glared, nipping at the tip of his thumb, tongue darting outto catch the bit of bloop welling up when her sharp teeth caught. He stepped closer but Aailyah ducked around him, walking back towards the door as her eyes glinted at him mischeviously.
"Don't pout." She mocked, ducking out the door and down the stairs to the living room. Kol and Klaus had both changed into more casual clothes and Rebekah had changed into pajamas. Klaus was lounging in a chair, drawing in a sketchbook while Kol and Rebekah sat on the couch, playing with a chess set on the table.
"Enjoy defiling my brother, Alli?" Kol drawled, wincing when Aailyah whacked him upside the head on her way past, stopping to take the glass of bourbon Klaus offered her.
"Very much." Aailyah purred, smirking when Klaus and Kol both groaned.
"Stop harassing my brothers, darling." Elijah appeared soon after, kissing her cheek and pouring himself a glass. He sat on the arm chair ajasent to Klaus, wrapping his arm around Aailyahs waist when she perched on the arm of his chair.
"But its so fun." Aailyah smiled as he leant against her, raking her fingers through his hair and watching Rebekah corner Kol into a checkmate.
"Damnit." Kol cursed, scowling at the board as Rebekah smirked smugly.
"Rematch?" Rebekah asked, starting to reset the board.
"No, sister, you can destroy me another time. Give me some time to recover my dignity."
"Kol, I know we have until the end of time, but I really dont want to wait that long." Bekah smirked, dodging easily as Kol swatted at her.
"So what happens now?" Kol asked. "Tell me we're not staying in this tired little town."
"Well, to start, I thought we could get rid of this." Klaus said, offering the dagger to Aailyah. "You can do… whatever it was you did to the others." Aailyah beamed at him,
"Just like that?" She couldn't help but ask. Aailyah wasn't sure what he'd done with the dagger and worried that she'd have to find and take it again, then deal with the blowup that followed. She was proud of him, and from the looks on his siblings' faces, they were too. Klaus hated not being in control, and they all knew it.
"I don't need them anymore. I don't know if I ever thanked you, Alli, for taking them away from me. I was so desperate to keep everyone with me, I didn't realize that I was becoming the one you all feared. Thank you, for bringing us back together." Klaus said sincerely, and Aailyah smiled, taking the dagger and kissing his cheek.
"We could never fear you, and we will never leave you, Niklaus. Don't ever forget that."
F&A
"Where've you been?" Niklaus demanded as Aailyah entered their manor. "We missed the ship, now we can't leave for two more weeks."
"I had a few things to take care of."
"What did you have to take care of that took two damn days?" Klaus growled, glaring at his sister in law as she shed her coat.
"Some things you left to rot in a box to rot in boxes for three decades." A voice snapped behind her. Klaus and Elijah snapped to attention at the voice they hadn't heard in thirty two years.
"Kol." Elijah breathed as his youngest brother entered the room, followed closely by Rebekah, both wearing the same clothes they'd worn the day they were daggered. Kol wore a white, ruffled shirt stained with blood, his long hair curling around his jawline, and Rebekah wore a pastel pink layered dress, hair still pinned up in spiraling curls.
"What did you do?" Klaus snarled, murderous eyes narowing on Aailyah as his veins darkened underneath, teeth sharpening as she met his without fear.
"What you should've done the day you found the bloody daggers. Got rid of them. All of them." Klaus lunged at her, slamming her into the wall by her throat. His fingers tightened enough to cut off her airway, squeezing punishingly, but Aailyah drove her foot into his abdomen, forcing Klaus back before punching him across the face. Nik held his jaw as he stumbled back, staring at her in shock. "Damn it Niklaus." She huffed, lunging towards him and striking him again. "I am not your enemy. We are not your enemy, we are your family, and you have wronged us!"
"I've done nothing!" Klaus spat, grabbing her by her forearms and throwing her across the entryway, away from him. Aailyah grunted in pain when her body hit the stairs and Nik stalked towards her furiously.
"Nothing?" Elijah spat, appearing in front of his brother and driving a kick into his solar plexus, throwing him backwards towards Kol before turning to help his wife, trusting his siblings to keep him away.
"You stole decades of our lives, betrayed us and stuffed us in fucking coffins." Kol spat, slamming a fist into the side of Klaus' skull, sending him face first into the ground. He didn't give Nik a moment to recover, slamming a vicious kick into his ribs, letting Klaus roll a few feet away. Klaus dragged himself to his feet, blood trailing down from his split lip as he stumbled back, watching his brothers warily. He forgot about his sister, and Rebekah made him pay for it, slinking up behind him.
"Do you know what it feels like to be stabbed in the heart?" Rebekah demanded, driving a knife into her brother's heart from behind and twisting viciously as he screamed in pain, falling to his knees. "The blade never hurts as much as the betrayal does."
"You can't do this." Klaus choked, reaching back and struggling for a moment before catching the handle. He ripped it out, letting out a pained shout as the awkward angle made the blade slice farther into him before he gripped it tightly, eyes flashing from person to person like he'd have to defend himself at any moment.
"Why not? You've threatened us, separated us, swore you'd dagger us and drop us into the ocean. You have ripped our family to pieces." Aailyah spat, leaning slightly against Elijah as she held her slowly mending cracked ribs. Rebakah slipped past Nik without fear, and he dragged himself to his feet, trying to look strong, dangerous, trying to hide how terrified he really was.
"What will you do? If you leave, I will hunt all of you to your end!"
"Then you will become the thing you hate the most. Mikael." Elijah spat, silencing Nik.
Klaus looked down, ashamed, and Aailyah sighed, kneeling next to him and gently removing the knife from his grip. Klaus didn't fight her, something like defeat in his eyes, and she sighed, stepping back towards her husband. "We're not leaving you Niklaus."
"You- you're not?"
"Oh believe me, we wanted to. Alli talked us out of it." Kol drawled.
"We're going to stay together and work this out, and we're going to fix our family. No daggers, no betrayal, no leaving. One last chance to stand together, always and forever." Aailyah promised.
"We're willing to try, Nik. Are you?" Rebakah asked, blue eyes pleading. Nik locked eyes with her, then each of her siblings.
"Okay." Nik breathed. "Okay."
"Good." Aailyah beamed. "But first, we have seven hundred years of anger and bitterness between us. That's not going to go away in a day. It's not going to go away in a decade. We'll have to work for it."
"So what do we do?" Nik asked.
"All of our valuables are packed away, right love?" Aailyah asked Elijah.
"Yes."
"Bekah? Kol?" Aailyah stepped back as Rebekah launched herself towards Klaus, slamming her fist into his jaw as Kol turned towards Elijah with a wicked smirk, cracking his knuckles. "We have a week to figure our shit out. Bekah, when you're done, I have a bone to pick with Klaus."
F&A
"Um, sir?" A nervous voice cut in, and Aailyah glanced over to find one of Klaus' hybrids hovering near the door nervously.
"What is it?" Klaus snapped, glaring down at the chessboard where Klaus was being schooled by Rebekah. Kol had stolen his notebook and was drawing a very exaggerated caricature of Klaus trying to set the board on fire with his eyes while Bekah smiled angelically.
"Well, We got Michaels remains and went to put him in the storage locker but…"
"But what?"
"The other coffins… gone."
"What?" Klaus snarled, shooting to his feet. Aailyah stood as well, placing a hand on his arm to keep him from attacking the kid.
"Where are the hybrids who were supposed to be guarding it?" She asked.
"Dead, ma'am. Someone ripped their heads off."
"I'm gonna-" Klaus was interrupted by his phone ringing. "What, Stefan?"
"What's the matter Klaus? Something missing?" Stefan drawled, and Aailyah met her husbands eyes, praying to a god she didn't believe in that their newest headache wouldn't last to long.
"You took my coffin." Klaus snarled. Elijah gestured for him to put it on speaker while Aailyah went to lead the hybrid out of the room.
"If you ever have any bad news to give Klaus, I'd suggest you give it to Elijah or I first. My brothers temper sometimes gets the best of him." Aailyah murmured, handing him her phone number and sending him out before rejoining her siblings.
"You took my free will."
"And he returned it. I'd suggest you do the same Stefan lest things get messy again. We planned to let you and yours live in peace, do you really want to ruin that to get back at my brother?" Elijah asked.
"I tend to hold grudges."
"As do I. I will kill everyone you hold dear." Klaus spat.
"I don't care, you made me turn off my humanity, remember? Or maybe I do, maybe I care so much that I drop the coffin in the ocean. Now I don't know what exactly is in the coffin, but I know you've dragged it around the world for a thousand years, so it must be important."
"What exactly do you want for it, Stefan?" Elijah asked.
"I want your hybrids out of my town."
"You must be joking." Klaus scoffed.
"If you don't make them leave, I'll kill every one of them."
"Deal." Aailyah jumped in, holding up a hand to quiet Niklaus' protests.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Stefan snarked, repeating Klaus' words from earlier, before hanging up.
"Why did you do that Alli?" Klaus demanded.
"Firstly, because your hybrids will never stay loyal to you if they find out you're risking their lives for a bloody pissing contest with Stefan Salvatore. He's not worth losing your allies over. Secondly, Stefans smart, he knows if you lose your hybrids you'll make more, so the next thing he'll threaten is Elena."
"Stefan won't kill Elena."
"Stefan with no humanity might, or he'll turn her. Doppelgangers are born every five hundred years Nik, do you really want to risk losing her now? Let's just go along with it for the time being, until we can get the coffin back. And then I am making you bury it or go to therapy, your choice. I'm sure they'd have a feild day with you."
"Not the time, Aailyah." Klaus snapped.
F&A
"If you're not going to school, what do you plan to do all day?" Aailyah asked, glancing down at Kol who was sprawled across the plush white couch. Elijah and Klaus had left that morning to harrass (coughthreatencough) the Salvatore brothers and look for the coffin. Elijah had texted her earlier that day, appearentally Stefan was in hiding, but they'd cornered Damon that morning and Elijah had searched the house while Klaus tried to get any information Damon had out of him. Aailyah had been combing over town records, looking for any other peices of land the Salvatores or any of their friends owned, or any abandoned or unowned buildings where Stefan could have stashed the coffin and sending them anything she found. Rebekah decided that morning that she was going to enroll at Mystic High to keep an eye on (coughpissoffcough) the doppelganger and her friends. Kol refused to join her, insisting that staying in town would piss them off all by itself, and he wasn't going to suffer through highschool to achieve the same thing.
"You're looking at it." Kol drawled, waving the remote lazily towards the T.V..
"This is it? All day?"
"Tempting, 'innit?"
"Some of us have things to do today."
"Take a break from ruling the world for once. Come watch T.V. with me." Aailyah grinned and sat next to him, leaning against his shoulder.
"What are we watching?"
"F.R.I.E.N.D.S." They sat there for a few hours and eventually Elijah and Nik joined them.
"What did Stefan and Elena say?" Aailyah asked.
"They don't know where Stefan or the coffin's are." Elijah sighed, kissing her hair.
"And Rebekah did not appreciate us showing up at her school."
"Oh, I know. Rebakahs blowing up my phone. Appearentally her cheer team won't stop drooling over you." Aailyah grinned, waving her phone at him.
"Really?" Klaus purred, leaning closer to examine her phone. "Did she send pictu-" He grunted as Aailyah slammed a pillow into his face.
"They're underage." She scolded, before pointedly turning to her husband. "So what now?"
"Now we'll have to negotiate-"
"Now we become a bit more aggressive." Klaus smirked, and Elijah rolled his eyes, rounding the couch to sit next to Aailyah, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Dare I ask?"
"It's best that as many people as possible have plausible deniability."
Kol nudged his knee against hers, meeting her eye.
'Slytherins." He mock whispered.
"You say that like you're not. And I thought we agreed Elijah was a Ravenclaw."
"I got Gryffindor last time. And Lijah could be both."
"And I thought we banned Harry Potter since you broke two computers trying to figure out what house Aailyah was in."
"It changes every time!" They protested together.
"I don't care, it's banned. You two kidnapped the Author to try to figure it out and spent the next few days grilling her over plot holes and inconsistencies and things she 'could have done better'."
"Hermione shouldn't have ended up with Ron!"
"Dumbledore was basically a villain!"
"Draco being gay or bi would've made a fantastic plot point- imagine him struggling against purblood traditions-"
"Snape didn't deserve a redemption arc! Being bullied as a child isn't an excuse to use a position of power to bully children, and he would've let Harry and James die-"
"Banned!" Elijah and Klaus shouted together.
"Fine." Aailyah sighed, shifting closer to Elijah. They continued to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S until Rebekah came home.
"Is this all you've accomplished today?" Rebekah demanded, sitting next to Klaus and dropping her ridiculously expensive designer backpacks on the floor.
"And what have you accomplished, besides joining the cheerleading squad and pissing off the doppelgangers friends?" Kol snarked. Rebekah glared at him for a moment before shrugging, unable to come up with a response.
"What season are we on?"
"Four."
"I'll make popcorn." They had nearly managed to finish the season when Aaliyah's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"You went after my brother?" Elena snapped. Aailyah blinked and glanced at Nik, who smirked.
"I did no such thing."
"Alaric is in the hospital!"
"Who?" Aailyah asked blankly, kicking at Kol when he snickered.
"I- Jenna's boyfriend! The- the vampire hunter! My history teacher!"
"Your Aunt's dating your teacher? That's awkward. Did it happen before or after he started teaching?"
"That's not the point!"
"Right, right. I also didn't go after Eric."
"Alaric!"
"Alaric."
"Jeremy was almost run over by one of your vampires! He's only alive because Alaric pushed him out of the way!"
"Oh. That wasn't me, that was Nik. I was planning to go after Bonnie."
"You- you're a monster!"
"So I've heard. You know, this would all go away if we got our coffin back. Nik has an unhealthy attachment to it." Elijah's hand snapped up, catching the sketchbook Nik threw at her head.
"I told Klaus, I don't know where it is!"
"Then I'd suggest you figure something out. My family generally gets what we want and we tend to overreact when we don't. My brother wants the coffin."
"I can't find the coffin if your family is trying to kill my family and friends!"
"Well then, how about another deal? I'll give you three days to find out where the coffins are and tell me. After that, my family does whatever it takes to get what we want. Deal?"
"...Deal."
"Keep in touch." Aailyah smirked and hung up.
F&A
"Morning love." Aailyah murmured, kissing Elijah's shoulder. Elijah hummed, rolling over and trying to bury himself in his pillow. "Still not a morning person?" Aailyah laughed, rolling out of bed to get ready for the day.
"It's been a thousand years, that's not going to change." Elijah huffed.
"That's alright love, you sleep. I'm gonna go take a shower… all by myself." Aailyah sang and walked into their bathroom, smirking when she heard Elijah groan quietly and roll out of bed.
F&A
"Nik, are you ready? We're going to be late!" Aailyah called, adjusting the long lace sleeves of her navy blue dress.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Klaus called, joining them in the doorway. "The world won't end if we're a few minutes late, you know."
"We're trying to negotiate peace with the council, seeing as we'll be here for a while. It'd help to make a good impression. Aailyah, stop fussing, you look lovely." Elijah said, pulling her away from the floor length mirror where she was fussing with her curls. "Kol, Rebekah, care to join us?"
"I can't, I'm meeting some of the girls on the cheerleading squad." Rebekah called as she blew on her still drying nails.
"Kol?"
"No chance, I'd get bored and kill someone halfway through. I'm going to the Grill."
"Alright, let's go." Klaus drove them to the Wickery Bridge restoration fundraiser, and Elijah immediately dragged her off to socialize. They went from person to person, Aailyah smiling along while Elijah introduced them to others, quickly picking out everyone on the council. Eventually they joined Klaus, who was chatting up the Mayor, Mrs. Lockwood.
"Niklaus, I trust your behaving yourself?" Aailyah called, arm linked through Elijahs as they came to a stop next to their brother.
"Never." Klaus smirked. "Mrs. Lockwood, this is my brother, Elijah, and his wife, Aailyah."
"Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Lockwood." Elijah and Aailyah shook her hand.
"Please, call me Carol. Your brother just made a generous donation to the restoration of Wickery Bridge."
"Well, we thought we should pitch in. We plan to stay in Mystic Falls for a while." Elijah smiled. "We love the history here, you don't see a lot of old traditions in small towns."
"And history is so important. You can learn so much from it." Aailyah smiled blandly, eyes tracking Damon as he weaved through the crowd towards them.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in." Damon interrupted. "Aailyah, always a pleasure." He smirked at her flirtatiously. "Klaus, Elijah, not so much."
"Good to see you too, Damon." Aailyah smiled, resting her head on Elijah's shoulder.
"Carol and I were just discussing whether you'd be tonight's other big benefactor." Klaus cut in.
"What do you say, Damon? Klaus has made a very generous pledge. You know how we're chomping at the bit to begin the renovation." Carol said, taking a long drink from her wine glass.
"Mm. Carol, don't take this the wrong way, but do you realize that you've been kissing the ass of the immortal hybrid who ruined your son's life?"
"Oh come now, some might say I saved it, what with all that nasty full moon business." Klaus said before Carol could respond. "I've never had to go through it myself more than twice to be honest, but still… I'm very sympathetic."
"Despite all the trouble we went through to make it possible for him." Aailyah muttered, wincing when Klaus drove his elbow into her ribs and stomping on his foot, making sure to dig the heel of her stiletto into the top of his shoe.
"Klaus has promised that he and his family would protect Tyler, Damon, and our town." Carol explained, gracefully ignoring the two of them.
"From who? They're the ones we need protection from." Damon snapped.
"If I recall correctly, outside of breaking Klaus' curse, we've never done anything but retaliate when you've attacked us. We've kept every promise we made to you, and we'll keep this one." Aailyah smirked.
"So long as the council stays out of our hair, we'll stay out of theirs and yours. Everyone is protected, everyone is happy, so long as I get my coffin back." Klaus explained.
"Not gonna happen."
"Please Damon, just get your brother under control or the council will be forced to take action against him."
"You've gotta be kidding me."
"Oh come on mate, give peace a chance." Damon growled and stalked away. "Guess that's a no." Klaus chuckled. They stayed at the party for a while longer, before Aailyah made her way to a table and sat, sighing in relief when the pain in her feet eased.
"All partied out?" Klaus mocked.
"You try it in four inch pumps. Vampire or not, heels hurt."
"Do you need me to take you home?" Elijah asked.
"Mm, I'm kinda thirsty, I might join Kol at the pub. I've got other shoes in the car. You stay and shmooze."
"Alright, Darling. I'll see you at home." Aailyah kissed him goodbye and slipped out, changing into her high top converse and running towards the Grill. As she walked in Kol was stumbling out with a girl hanging off his arm.
"Sister." Kol smirked, swaying slightly.
"Brother." Aailyah chuckled, kissing his cheek. "Heading home?"
"Might get a Hotel for the night, avoid tomorrow's lecture."
"Not a bad idea. I'm gonna get a drink, have fun." Aailyah waved him off and wandered into the bar. She raised an eyebrow, seeing Elena's friend, Caroline seated at the bar.
"You're Caroline, right?" Caroline glanced up and stiffened at the sight of the near mirror image of her best friend.
"Aailyah?"
"Relax love, I'm just here for a drink. Why are you here? Isn't it your birthday?"
"How do you know that?" Aailyah raised an eyebrow and smirked. Caroline groaned and dropped her head into her hands. "I don't think I wanna know."
"It's not as bad as you think. Tyler was trying to figure out what to get you for your birthday." Carolines face fell and she sighed miserably. "Boy trouble?"
"You wouldn't understand."
"You'd be surprised. Lemme guess, Klaus?"
"Yeah. No offense, but your brothers an ass."
"He is."
"You agree with me?"
"Absolutely. I've wanted to punch him in the face at least three times this week. He sniped me in GTA." Caroline choked on her drink.
"You do not play Grand Theft Auto. You're one thousand year old vampires."
"We do, and Klaus cheats. Don't give me that look! We're a thousand years old, most of us aren't in school and don't have jobs, and you can only plot to take over the world for so long before it stops being fun. We get bored." Caroline burst into laughter and Aailyah sat next to her.
"How do you do that? Go from untouchable queen of the universe to gamer girl in converse."
"Queen of the universe. There's an idea." Aailyah hummed consideringly.
"Please don't take over the world."
"Alright, I'll just take Europe." She compromised, grinning when Caroline snorted. "We're people Caroline. Nobody's just one thing. Kol is violent and manic but loves music and he's obsessed with witchcraft. Klaus is controlling and manipulative but has a passion for art and travel. Elijah has the highest score in Mario Kart and loves playing the piano more than anything. Rebekah's ridiculously complicated person, but she loves with her whole heart and cried like a baby when her fish died in Sims. We've got layers, just like you."
"It's kinda hard to imagine that. I guess all I've really seen you as is the enemy."
"That's fair. We haven't given you much reason to think otherwise."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"How old were you, when you turned?" Aaliyah's eyebrows furrowed. "You don't know?"
"I was probably twenty twoish, since Bekah was eighteen. Why?"
"It's just, I'm stuck at seventeen. I'm seventeen forever."
"And you'd be happier if you were turned at eighteen?"
"I- I dunno. Seventeen's not special, you know? It's like a filler year. I'm stuck on a filler year forever."
"That's the thing darling. It's forever. Eventually, you're not gonna care how old you were when you turned, you might even forget. You have forever in front of you. You're free to see the world, watch it change, watch it grow."
"That's kind of terrifying."
"If you don't want to, you can end it at any time. If you truly believe your existence has no meaning. But there is a whole world out there waiting for you Caroline. Cities and art and music that can make you feel more alive than you've ever been. The world is beautiful. And you can see all of it." Caroline stared at her for a moment.
"What's your favorite place?" Aailyah beamed and launched into a story, pulling out her phone to show some pictures. They talked for hours, and when the bar closed, they wandered around Mystic Falls.
"How'd you and Elijah make it work?" Caroline asked, ducking under a tree branch. "You've been married for a thousand years, there's gotta be a secret."
"Honestly there's not."
"Oh come on!"
"There's not! It's been a thousand years, we've fought, we've separated, we came back together. At the end of the day he loves me and I love him, and that's enough. We make it work."
"I wish it was that easy."
"It's not easy Caroline. Once we separated for ten years. You have to compromise, and work for it. Sometimes it seems like everything around us is falling apart, and it's the hardest thing in the world to hang on. But we do."
"Why?"
"He's my forever." Aailyah said simply, fiddling with her wedding ring.
"I feel like Tyler might be my forever."
"Then I'd suggest you two work it out."
"I don't know how to do that."
"All you've got to do is try. And if he loves you, he'll do the same." Eventually Aailyah dropped Caroline off at her house with a promise to talk another time and went home.
"You were out late, what have you been up to?" Klaus asked, glancing up when she stumbled in.
"Talking to Caroline."
"I can't believe this, Elijah made me talk to every single person at that damn fundraiser and you got to chat up that pretty blonde at the bar."
"I'll remind you, Niklaus, that because we talked to every person at that fundraiser we have eyes everywhere from the police station to the hospital to the school." Elijah snarked, sitting next to Aailyah on the couch and pulling her close, kissing her hair and smiling slightly when the smell of apples flooded his senses.
"You made that much of an impression, love?" Aailyah asked, kissing him sweetly and tugging his arm tighter around her, turning to she was leaning across his chest, arms slipping around his waist and clinging to him tightly.
"On a few. For a town that knows about vampires, very few of its people are on vervain."
"That seems foolish."
"It does, doesn't it?" Klaus chuckled.
F&A
A.N. Serious question! What Hogwarts house do you think Aailyahs in? And what about the other Original siblings? I think it's easy to throw them all in as Slytherins but I dunno.
I put far too much thought into each Originals Hogwarts House and I took half a dozen quizzes as Aailyah and her changed every single time. I'm stuck between Slytherin and Hufflepuff- She is at her core, ridiculously loyal to those she loves, but she als is very very ambitious and clever, willing to do anything to protect them.
I can and will argue any of Kol and Allis ideas about Harry Potter. I respect everyone's opinion but there is absolutely no valid reason to leave a child in an abusive home and Albus knew Sirius was innocent and let him rot in Azkaban. And I've got a lotta bones to pick with Snape but my biggest is: There is absolutely no reason a teacher- who should be a safe adult in every one of their students life- should be any child's biggest fear. (I taught preschool for three years I have a whole lot a feelings about this) Neville heard the mermaids screaming in GoF and thought it was someone under the Cruciatus Curse- he knows what someone being tortured sounds like and the woman who tortured his parents into insanity was still alive. His biggest fear should not have been his teacher. (Y'all i accidentally typed out three pages on this XD I was gonna talk about the others but im kinda getting off track)
Also I forgot I let Jenna live oops. And I know playing Video Games seems OOC for the Mikaelsons but I feel like it could be normal if you think it through. Most of their screen time in cannon is spent trying to get revenge on each other or dealing with some random enemy. I feel like if the Mikaelsons had their shit together like they do here they'd have more time to explore their own interests. I think Kol would be very into video games when they came out and would eventually drag his family into playing with him. Aailyah would absolutely be into it and his brothers are super competitive. Also Aailyah is the definition of control freak so I think she would absolutly love the Sims and she would've got Rebekah in on it too.
And I was reading through my story on Fanfiction looking for things I needed to edit and I realized my scene separators had disappeared (I used these~~~) so I'm gonna go through and edit before I post the next chapter.
