Tom and his friends watched the screen of the boy's scanner, "You managed to arrest the two creatures?"

"Yes," Maxxor replied. He crossed his arms, smiling, "Our soldiers managed to capture the two intruders before they could do anything. We have secured Chaotic and they won't be able to do anything. They aren't talking yet though."

"We don't care for that!" Chaor growled. He took a deep breath, "We lost enough time as it is. The portal will be fixed soon!" He turned his head and looked at someone outside of the screen, "You better be!"

"We are ready soon. We found the right size of the crystal we need. Then, we will charge the portal up and prepare for the location to send the creatures. However, we don't have a location yet. The Organization is preparing a location for the creatures. By that, I mean resources to sustain you," Imthor replied.

Sarah sighed, "Good to know everything is progressing. Nothing is going on here."

Aszil nodded and let out a small smile, "Good to know there isn't much. Trying to escape the M'arrillians was enough. Chaor was pretty tense with his Kazzy's safety."

The creature in question grunted furiously. He huffed and turned his head to the side, "Kazzy was coded. What we-" he cut himself as he thought of their conversation together when he saved the boy, "Anyway, we are going to defeat the M'arrillians soon enough."

"Good to know bro! We are waiting for you here," Peyton replied.

They had a small talk and they ended their communication.

Chapter 124: Talkative M'arrillians

Tom and his friends noticed Remi, who watched the jail where the M'arrillians were imprisoned for now.

Kaz asked, "How is it going?"

"Okay," he replied. The boy sighed quietly, "Just trying not to think too much about what is going on with my parents. Mom and dad are still under their control," he noticed the creatures not too far from the group. He then focused on the four teenagers, "And what's going on with Bahrakatan?" He crossed his arms and shook his head, "I know he probably has nothing else to say, but I hope what he said will save my parents."

Tom put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry. I'm sure the creatures will come soon and stop them. They said they are progressing quickly."

"He's right bro. We just need to hold on a little longer," Peyton said encouragingly.

"I wonder what's going on in there," Kaz wondered. He saw his friends looking at him, "The two M'arrillians are together. Maybe they talked with each other. Maybe about things they didn't tell us."

"I still find it hard to believe they might believe they can bring Aa'une back to life. This is crazy," Sarah commented.

"I guessed my quotes from the Bibles made Bahrakatan think it might be possible," Remi sighed and let out a small, but nervous smile.

The girl wondered something, "You want to check on them? I mean, you are looking at their prison for a bit."

"Yeah. Want to check if Bahrakatan is okay. He really did save my life and seeing that he was put there…it just doesn't feel right to me," he sighed.

The four couldn't agree with that. The M'arrillian was still a risk, even if he had no intention of hurting anyone. It was a military base and their tribe was the enemy.

As for Tom, he thought it might be good to check on them. There was little they could do and it was the same for the M'arrillians. He had no expectation of collecting any intel from them, "Maybe we can check on them," he suggested.

His friends crossed their arms, "And go there without us again?" Sarah asked with a bit of annoyance.

"No. I said we," the black-haired boy replied a little nervously when she looked at him like that.

Kaz sighed, "Still, it might be a good idea to check on them. If they talked together, they might share a little bit more. If not, at least," he glanced at Remi, "You will talk to Bahrakatan," he didn't like that, but wouldn't protest.

His best friend noticed he wasn't enthusiastic about meeting the M'arrillians.

"We will be together bro!" Peyton declared.

Remi let out a small smile and nodded. He wanted to ask if everything was fine with his friend.

Intress came and said, "We will accompany you. We can never be too sure if everything will be safe."

The humans knew she heard them.

The other creatures nodded.

Agitos hoped they might obtain more information that might seem useless at first, but might be important later. Even if the M'arrillians might be cooperative, there might be a few things they could overlook and think was pointless information.

The group walked towards the prison. The guards let them enter after they received the authorization. They went in there and found the two M'arrillians focused on looking forward. They got the feeling they were speaking in each other's mind.

"Bahrakatan!" Remi said and got the attention of the crab creature.

The two M'arrillians winced as their mind contact ended suddenly.

Bahrakatan gazed at the human and nodded, "Remi. What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you. Wanted to make sure everything was okay here. You were put in jail, even if you helped me," the teenager replied.

"Do not worry for me. Everything is fine. I would be worried if I was a prisoner of my own tribe," he replied.

Aval'par rolled his eye. He couldn't disagree with that, "Of course it is better than there. Just stuck in here," he then gazed at Tom. He scratched his side nervously, or the best he could with his body. There was something on his mind.

Bahrakatan sighed, "Aval'par wants to know something, but he is just… timid right now."

The creatures snickered, the humans too.

"I am not timid!" He grumbled. He closed his eye for a few seconds, before he focused on Tom, "Gal'drad. Do you know anything that happened with him? I know he is a traitor. He wasn't with us when we first came to the Cothica."

"Yes. He is still in Chaotic with the others," he replied honestly.

Sarah hit him in the ribs, "Tom. You shouldn't tell them something like that."

"We cannot talk with the others' minds. They cut us out. I was cut off yesterday. It took them a while to realize I was gone," Bahrakatan replied.

"Gal'drad is my friend…it's a good thing I'm in jail. Won't have to fight him when he comes here," the purple M'arrillian admitted. He thought back. He was certain they would end up killing each other in the future, but thankfully, it wasn't meant to be. He closed his eye and grumbled to himself.

The Coralsmith chuckled lightly, "And I wasn't expecting to just turn back against my tribe and held you Remi. I don't have any regrets. Even if I end up in jail. It is what I deserve from everything I made in the past," his hand was on the door that isolated him from the human.

Remi put his hand on the other side and let out a small smile, "You're a good M'arrillian."

"Seems that way," he scratched the back of his head nervously with his pincer.

The eight creatures didn't agree with him, but didn't speak out.

"Any other reason you came here?" Aval'par asked curiously. He wasn't suspicious of anything. He gazed at Tom and waited for his answer.

"Remi wanted to check on Bahrakatan and know if he was alright or not," he replied.

The purple M'arrillian sighed, "Seriously? We are M'arrillians. I don't believe anyone would visit us like that. Especially after what we did to the Cothica."

"Bahrakatan saved my life and we spent a little together, before we were brought here. Of course, I'm worried for him," Remi replied.

Bahrakatan lightly chuckled as he gazed at the others, "I pretty much said everything I know about Milla'iin intentions. There is nothing else on my mind, as of yet."

"To resurrect Aa'une, I can't believe you think this is a possibility!" Sarah groaned.

Peyton scratched the back of his head, "I don't think they knew about this before they came here. It is just a thought, Sarah."

"Yes. I don't believe it myself, but I wouldn't put that aside," the crab creature warned them.

There was a moment of silence after those words. There was little else to talk about. Still, something came to Kaz's mind, "Any idea what would happen with the M'arrillians. You said that they cut their mind with yours… right?"

Bahrakatan nodded, "Yes, I can no longer hear any thoughts from Milla'iin. Last thing I heard was that they still didn't find the spy. Although, it sounded like he would give up searching for the spy soon. It might be too time consuming for him. That's only my guess."

Gathop asked the other M'arrillian, "Think they might try something different with Bahrakatan in jail?"

Aval'par hummed to himself, "Yes. Without him, they will be more limited in new battlegear. They can fix them if the damage isn't that great, but broken weapons will take much longer."

"None of them can match my expertise in smithing powerful battlegear. Still, that turned against me when I made the portal to Chaotic," he regretfully told them. He raised his pincer, "But now that I think about it, I believe they might try to get more aggressive soon. They will try to hunt you down, believing that I might give you every detail about the battlegear and their weaknesses."

Rothar let out a small grin and asked, "Since you brought this up, why don't you share some of those with us," he put his hand on his chest, "This will help us in the war against the M'arrillians."

Aval'par big eye quickly turned towards the wall that separated him from Bahrakatan. That was not something he wanted to give.

The five humans weren't certain of it to a different extent. Remi and Tom were the ones who didn't feel comfortable about this.

"I will not divulge that information. I might have betrayed my tribe from their wrong doing, but I will not facilitate their demise. I already have a lot of blood on my hand and pincer. If I helped you kill them, I will have those of my own tribe too."

The other M'arrillian sighed in relief.

Agitos nodded, "Fine."

Wamma frowned, "But this put Sarah and her friends in danger. You-" he stopped when he crossed the gaze of the other Danian. He couldn't complain that much, as he tried to avoid the war in the past, "Can you tell us anything about how to stop them?"

"Take out Milla'iin and the other's will be disorganized. He is the heart of this invasion. Just remember how quickly they retreated when Aa'une was defeated," Bahrakatan glanced at the wall.

Aval'par couldn't counter that, "Right. During the war, we followed Aa'une plans and orders. We didn't formulate our own. We were dependent on him…far too much, now that I think back. When he was gone, we just retreated as quickly as possible, to save our tendrils," he crossed his fingers on his tendril, "If Milla'iin is unable to give plans, they will be quickly confused until a new leader takes his place, which will take a while. Last time, many fought against each other until Milla'iin rose above all."

"So, we can defeat the M'arrillians by crushing Milla'iin like a pulp!" Rothar smirked as he cracked his knuckles at that thought.

Arias chuckled as he thought the same.

Intress quietly sighed, "Anyway, that is a good way to stop them, but we don't have the power to handle them for now."

The group knew what would come soon, but didn't speak about it.

Ario asked something else, "Any chances other M'arrillians might leave Milla'iin's command?"

The two M'arrillians thought about it and raised their shoulders.

Aval'par responded, "It depends on them. I don't care about what happens to my tribe after…" he didn't admit it was because of Tom.

Bahrakatan answered, "You can only hope. I already had my doubts when we caused damage to the Cothica. Those who might truly care might turn away eventually, the others, they will fight hard."

With that answer, Gathup suggested, "We should leave, if there is nothing else to say. Your parents won't be happy you are all here."

The four grumbled nervously, as that was the case.

"Stay safe Remi," Bahrakatan told the boy.

"I will," he waved back.

The creatures and humans were gone.

The two prisoners quietly watched the wall, where they once stood.

(Maybe Remi was our guide to the Cothica, but our tribe rejected him,) Bahrakatan sadly commented.

Aval'par couldn't disagree. It felt like he was their guide, just like the other four.

AC: This is the end of this chapter.

Next: Chaos

Milla'iin had enough. With Bahrakatan gone, he decided to track the four humans and the creatures from where they were last seen.
