New chapter up. Thanks to everyone who's reading my ramblings. Enjoy!

Marr left the Jedi alone for almost two weeks after their last conversation. He'd felt great fear and loneliness in her once she'd been returned to her cell and allowed to think. The overseer had also reported she was crying and sad. Emotionally, she'd reached the place he wanted faster than he'd anticipated. The girl was now scared, alone and seriously questioned everything she thought she believed in. As time went on, she began to get angry. She was now feeling emotions which would help press her to the Darkside.

This next move was key.

Marr was in his office, preparing for the next step of his plan for Vala, as well as trying to sort out dark council business, when Lord Ragnor had returned with his new apprentice.

After Ragnor's time on Korriban to select a new underling, Marr had sent them to check in on Yavin 4, just to ensure everything was still running smoothly and there were no Republic issues on the planet. He didn't trust the Republic or the Jedi to keep up their end of the truce. Not without constant vigilance, at least.

Ragnor's apprentice was obviously fearful as they approached, but Marr could sense his potential. At least this new one wouldn't disobey or backtalk, at least not at first. It was often the timid ones you had to watch out for when it came to power. The human male's current state of fear pleased Marr.

"You wish to speak with me, Master?" Ragnor said, standing up straight after bowing to Marr. His apprentice mimicked his movements.

"Yes. My plans for my Jedi guest are coming to the next stage. I require you to take her to Balmorra in three days. You will drop her off near one of the resistance cells and allow her to go free."

"Master?" Ragnor asked, confused. "I don't wish to question your decisions, but you're releasing her?"

"I am." Marr answered. "And you will not interfere with her release. You will drop her off, then leave."

Ragnor still looked confused.

"My plans for her are far from complete and are none of your concern. This release is critical and you will do as I command."

The Sith Lord stood straighter and nodded. "Of course, Master. I will make preparations for our departure."

The two lesser Sith left and Marr returned to his seat. He had one more interaction with Vala planned before she was returned to her people. This last interaction was going to decide the girl's fate.
