I Do Not Own Twilight
Aro went into the throne room to await the day's trials and meetings smirking. He couldn't stop thinking about what Bella had told him about music. She was such an intriguing creature and his conversations with her always gave him something to think about. He thought her idea to teach him the language through rap music was brilliant.
He had touched the young vampire, Tyrone, and therefore obtained all of his memories. He had every song Tyrone had listened to as a vampire and sometimes as a human stored in his memory. Aro just had to sift through the memories and replay the songs. After doing this he had a much better grasp of Tyrone's manner of speaking. In fact, he really didn't need to keep having English lessons with Bella.
However, Aro never told the girl her job was finished. He enjoyed there time together and would gladly spend his time chatting with her. He kept up the pretense of asking questions. He insisted they continue listening to various rap and pop music if only because many of the lyrics would cause her to blush in embarrassment. Aro couldn't bring himself to tease her but he adored the way she looked with a slight blush on her cheeks.
He was sitting patiently waiting going over some song lyrics when Caius and Marcus came flitting into the room. Marcus settled himself languidly on his throne and sighed. He was already sinking into the bored mask he put on. He focused on the wall to his right and stared blankly. Caius flung himself into his throne and kicked one foot over the edge of the throne. He glanced over at Aro and noticed him smirking.
"What has you so amused over there, brother?" Caius's nose flared and lip twitched aching for some type of humor to spice up the day.
A wide Cheshire smile overtook Aro's face, "Oh, nothing brother. I have just finished my language lesson for the day."
Caius gaped incredulously, "It has been four weeks Aro haven't you learned the entire language already?"
Aro chuckled, "Yes, but I so enjoy talking to Bella." At this announcement Marcus dropped his bored façade and looked at Aro.
Marcus stared at Aro reading his lines. He gasped when he saw the bond line connecting Aro and his mystery mate had gotten thicker and friendship lines had begun twining around it. Marcus smiled but decided he wouldn't reveal this new information. He suspected he knew why these lines changed but it was always possible he was wrong so he wouldn't say anything just yet. He was happy to see that Aro's line to Sulpicia was completely severed and had dried up meaning he wasn't brokenhearted anymore. He wondered at the speed the vampire had gotten over a three-thousand year-long relationship.
"What could you possibly have to say to a teenaged American human! Caius scoffed at the idea of talking to a human let alone being friends with one. "Are you going to become like those people that carry their pets in their purses, Aro?"
Aro ignored Caius. He didn't expect either of his brothers to understand his relationship to Bella. She was refreshing to speak with. Her ideas were well thought out but so different from his own. He motioned with his hand to Demetri to begin calling people to begin the days proceedings.
As soon as Demetri turned to open the door Aro schooled his face into his regal mask, Caius forced a scowl on his face, and Marcus sighed into his bored persona.
Two nomads walked into the room. They looked to be only about a century old. Aro lifted his nose up and sniffed as the two vampires approached the throne. The two vampires kneeled before the thrones and Aro rose gracefully. He took one step down the dais and glanced to either side of the room. He jumped into a lose crouch and began rapping, "If there is a problem Yo, I'll solve it check out the hook with the DJ revolves it. Aro Aro baby Vampire Aro Aro baby Vampire." He began laughing maniacally.
The two vampires stood there with mouths agape. The guard hardly flinched they knew that Aro enjoyed the fear that came from the vampire world believing he was insane. It was disconcerting to them but the guard knew not to break character.
Marcus never flinched but if someone was looking at Caius, they would have seen just the twitch of the corner of his mouth. He was bored and he was glad Aro was in a playful mood. This would help the trials move through the day.
He clapped his hands together and sat back down smiling widely at his throne. "Now, my friends what do we have here today?" He extended his hand to the vampires before him and Demetri pushed one to take a step forward. The vampire stumbled before the dais where Aro was waiting. He raised his hand and Aro snatched it before him. Aro closed his eyes the wide grin still plastered on his face.
Ha patted the vampire's hand and grinned down at him. "You have both killed several humans in broad daylight, in the middle of the day, with humans nearby. That isn't very responsible. We have just one rule, keep the secret." With that Aro jumped forward and ripped the head of the vampire before him. He tossed the head to Demetri who at Aro's movement decapitated the other vampire. Aro brushed his hands off and smoothed out his pants and jacket and said in his most regal voice, "Quick to the point, to the point no faking'. I'm cooking MCs like a pound of bacon. Burning them if they're not quick and nimble I go crazy when I hear a cymbal." He chuckled darkly as he looked at Caius.
"Well," Caius said dryly, "At least you have learned something useful." He shook his head and his lips twitched again, his eyes dancing with mirth.
"What on earth was that anyway, brother?" Marcus snorted.
"Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. I did modify it of course."
"Of course," Marcus rolled his eyes. He motioned for Demetri to let the next vampires in.
Meanwhile, Bella was sitting in an airplane anxiously awaiting her arrival in Forks and starting a new chapter in her life. She idly wondered what her new friend was doing. She had been through three different French speakers and none of them had stuck around. She was thankful Aro was still interested in talking to her. She was glad to keep one friend in her life.
