"My name is Izzy Hardy, and this is Day 1 of my investigation on Michael Myers, AKA The Boogeyman. To start this investigation, here is the backstory of The Boogeyman as he is called by the people of Haddonfield. On Halloween in 1963, when he was 6 years old, he killed his sister, Judith Myers with a kitchen knife while wearing a clown costume. He was then taken to Smith's Grove Sanitarium until 15 years later, when he escaped from Smith's Grove and returned to Haddonfield on Halloween in 1978 where he killed 3 innocent teenagers and pursued survivors, Laurie Strode, Tommy Doyle & Lindsey Wallace. He was shot 6 times by Dr. Samuel Loomis, Michael's doctor and was taken into custody that night.

He spent the last 40 years at Smith's Grove Sanitarium, where during a transfer to a different facility, he escaped again and returned to Haddonfield to pursue survivor, Laurie Strode along with her family. After Laurie and her family trapped him in the basement of her house, they set the house on fire and left him there to burn and to put an end to the terror that she and her family went through over the years. Now, a year after the massacre of Halloween of 2018, he may still be alive and is waiting for new victims to kill on Halloween night and it is my duty to find out more about him and maybe even experience it myself.

I'll start my investigation where it all began, The Myers House. I'll also bring a mask, just in case if it's moldy and maybe bad for my health and my phone to take pictures with. I'll report back when I get to The Myers House."

Izzy stopped the recorder and grabbed a sharpie and wrote: 'Myers Investigation – Day 1' on the front of the tape. After she placed the tape in her bag, she gathered her bag which had her phone and face mask inside and slowly started heading downstairs. Before she left, she checked to make sure she had everything including her keys to the house. After she checked her bag for anything she might have forgot to get, she went out the front door and started walking toward The Myers House.

She soon arrived at The Myers House and looked up at the window she saw the figure in the day before. "I hope nothing happens while I'm in here." She thought as she grabbed her face mask from her bag and slowly approached the front porch and lifted the mat to find the key to the front door. She placed the key into the keyhole and as she did, the door slowly opened. With a surprised look on her face, she took out the key and slowly walked inside. As she looked around, she grabbed her recorder and phone and started recording.

"It is 3:00 in the morning and I've just entered inside The Myers House and are currently in the hallway between the stairs and the living room. I'm going to start from the bottom floor and I'll let you know what happens on my camera. Izzy, out!"

She placed the recorder back into her bag and started looking around. As she entered the living room, she heard a noise above her. She turned and went toward the stairs and looked up and as she did, she saw a shadow at the top of the stairs. She slowly started walking up the stairs toward the shadow. As she got to the top, the shadow disappeared. She looked around the top floor until she saw a little light from under the door which led to Judith's room and slowly turned the knob, opened the door and gasped as she saw dead bodies that were starting to decay scattered by a rock which had a pumpkin sitting on the top of the rocky alter gazing at her. As she drew closer, she took out her phone and started recording.

"Izzy here. It is 3:15 in the morning and I have just discovered some kind of alter with dead bodies that Michael must've built a long time ago. I hope I don't become his next victim. I think I better get out of here before Michael finds out I'm here. Izzy, out!"

As Izzy placed her phone back into her bookbag, she heard a creak behind her. She turned around and saw Michael raising his knife about to stab her. She rolled away the knife plunging at her just in time and started running down the stairs. As she ran to the door, she realized Michael locked it after he found out she was there.

She turned around to see Michael staring at her at the top of the stairs and ran toward the kitchen door. As she did, she turned around and saw Michael walking toward her with the knife still in his hand. She tried as hard as she could to open the kitchen door and with force, she rammed her hand through part of the window glass and was able to open the door just in time before Michael tried to stab her again. She ran as fast as she could toward her house. She soon made it to her house and grabbed her keys from her pocket and unlocked her door just in time. As she looked out the door window to see if Michael was still following her, her parents ran down the stairs to see what was the matter.

"Izzy, what in god's name is going on?" Anna asked her all shook up.

"I saw him!" Izzy said still traumatized from her encounter.

"You saw who?" Tom asked her.

"The Boogeyman, Dad! I saw The Boogeyman of Haddonfield!" She said as she hugged Anna and started crying.

"It's ok, don't say anymore. Let's go to the bathroom and wash your face." She said as they took Izzy to the bathroom. As they did, Izzy glanced at the kitchen door and saw Michael standing there, gazing at her.
