Later that evening, Tom and Anna were having pizza for dinner in the living room. They were still discussing what they talked about earlier.

"I'm sorry about bringing up 'you know what' earlier. I just didn't want the same thing happening to her like—" Tom placed his hand on top of her

"It's alright. He sighed. "Hopefully, as long as Izzy stays careful, she'll be fine."

"Let's hope so." Anna said cuddling up in the blanket with Tom. As they started to get comfy on the couch, they heard the kitchen door open and shut.

"Izzy? Sweetheart, is that you?" Anna asked as she got up and walked toward the kitchen door. As she entered the darkened kitchen, she turned on the kitchen lights and saw no one in there.

As she walked toward the kitchen door, she saw that one of her knives was missing. She started walking back towards the living room.

"Tom, have you touched one of my knives lately?-" Her question was interrupted by a tall figure grabbing her by the neck pinning her to the wall. Anna opened her eyes with shock as she saw the figure who was pinning her to the wall was Michael Myers.

"Hey, get your hands off her, you son of a bitch!" Tom shouted as he ran toward them.

As he did, Michael plunged the knife he took from the counter into Tom's stomach. Tom froze as he looked down and saw that Michael stabbed him and soon fell.

"TOOOOOOOOOOOM!" Anna shouted as she still struggled to break free of Michael's grasp. Michael looked back at her and slammed her head into the wall. He let go of her neck and she fell to the ground and as she fell, she looked at him before she lost consciousness. Michael looked at the two of them and started to walk off, leaving Tom and Anna for dead.

Simon and Izzy were about to approach her house after the long drive from Smith' Grove and as they drew near, they saw crowds of people and 2 Ambulances at her house. She stopped dead in her tracks and started running toward them.

"MOOOOOOM! DAAAAAAAAD!" She shouted as she was running toward them, being held back by some of the crowd members. She watched with shock and terror as she saw the doctors taking her parents away in the ambulances without her.

A police officer started walking toward her.

"Officer, that's my parents you're taking away!"

"We know. My name is Officer Hawkins and we're going to do everything in our power to get them to the hospital as fast as we can."

"Please, let me go with them! Please!"

"Alright, you and your friend get in our squad car and we'll take y'all there, ok?" He said as they walked toward the squad car and got in. "I want the rest of you to clear this crowd up." He told his team as they started to clear the crowd away from Izzy's house. As they started to drive away, a black truck was watching them from afar like Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window watching the window across from his window. The black truck started to drive slowly following them toward the hospital with the headlights dimmed so it wouldn't be seen. In the distance of the trees, Michael was also watching from afar as the black truck drove away.

Izzy and Simon were soon sitting in the waiting room at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, awaiting to hear about what happened with Izzy's parents.

"I can't believe this is even happening right now!" Izzy said as she laid on Simon's shoulder with tears in her eyes.

"It'll be alright, Izz. None of this is your fault."

"To me, it is my fault, all because I started that stupid investigation about Michael Myers."

"Hey, look at me." Izzy looked at him with tears in her eyes. "None of this is your fault. You didn't know this was going to happen. Just like at Smith's Grove, you didn't know either. Look, all I'm saying is that, don't say it's your fault. We'll get through whatever it is together." He said as he started to stand up. "Listen, why don't I go see if there is a vending machine here and get you something to eat while we're waiting, ok?"

"Ok." She said as she wiped the tears from her eyes and sat up awaiting for Simon and for one of the doctors or nurses for the results on her parents. As she sat there waiting, a voice called to her.

"Izzy Hardy?" The voice said as Izzy turned around to see a woman with ghostly white hair, dark jeans and boots, a green shirt and a dark blue jacket.

"Hi, may I help you with something?" She asked the lady.

"I don't know if you've heard of me. But, my name is Laurie Strode."

Izzy's eyes went wide as she now knew who was standing in front of her. "You're Laurie Strode, the survivor of 1978's & 2018's Halloween massacres!"

"I am and I'm sorry about your parents. Have they told you anything?"

"I haven't heard anything yet. I'm still waiting to hear something soon."

Laurie and Izzy sat down. As they did, a doctor started walking toward them.

"Ms. Hardy?" He asked. "Yes, how are my parents? Are they ok?"

"Yes, ma'am. Your parents are doing fine. Your father has lost a lot of blood, but will hopefully make a good recovery. Your mom, however, she's ok but she has a skull fracture and has slipped into a coma during surgery. We don't know how long the coma will last, but, more than likely, she'll pull through."

Izzy sighed with relief and hugged Laurie.

"Ms. Strode, what brings you here?" He asked her.

"I'm just here to help her get through this." Laurie told him.

"Fine. Luckily, you're not the one in here again. If you both will excuse me, I'll be getting back to your parents and seeing how they are doing." He said, walking back toward the hospital room.

"Well, at least they're ok." Laurie said.

"Yeah, hopefully, he won't come after my parents again." Izzy said, relieved that her parents were going to be ok. Simon came back to the waiting room with drinks and snacks for him and Izzy.

"Hey, did I miss anything?" He asked.

"The doctor came by and said that my parents are going to recover."

"That's great, Izzy!" He hugged her as tight as he could. As he hugged her, he looked over at Laurie. "Who's that lady you were talking to when I walked over?"

"Simon, I would like for you to meet Laurie Strode. She's the survivor from the Halloween Massacre back in 1978." She said as Simon walked toward Laurie shook her hand. They all sat down with Simon sitting between Laurie and Izzy.

"So, what happens now?" Simon asked.

"For right now, I would be careful the next time either one of you goes anywhere by yourself or with friends because, he'll pick you and your friends off one by one. Izzy, I would suggest you stay with someone for a few days until Halloween is over and so will Michael's Halloween terror." Laurie said as she stood up. "One more thing." She handed Simon and Izzy a piece of small paper.

"That is mine and my daughter's phone number. Call one of us if you need a place to stay or you see him again. I'll let her know this as well. With Michael back, I think we'll be in for another ride again." She said sternly. "I better be going, I wish your parents recovery and I hope and pray that this will be over soon." Laurie said walking out the automatic double doors. Simon and Izzy both looked at each other.

"Do you really think we should trust her? I mean, what if she's not telling the truth and is just a crazy old lady?" Simon asked.

"We've got no choice. She's the only one who knows how to stop Michael from killing again. I hope and pray that no one dies this Halloween, especially us." She said with worry. Outside the hospital, Laurie was sitting in her truck, watching Simon and Izzy from afar.

"God, be with these kids on Halloween night and please don't let Michael hurt them and help me try to stop him from killing again." She said as she turned on her truck engine and started to drive away. In the distance, A tall dark figure stood by the trees watching the hospital from afar, gazing with no movement like a statue.
