NOTE: Today is Yukiko's birthday! And I've been swamped with college stuff, so this was just faster to put out instead of the Lucky Girl chapter, sorry. Yesterday was also my birthday, so it makes me happy to know my birthday and Yukiko's are right next to each other.

Review and Enjoy!

Special Chapter: Happy Birthday!

Black orbs fluttered open to meet the bottom end of a top bunk. Yukiko released soft breaths as she awoke to the quiet sounds of the RV. A smile graced her lips as her tired body appreciated the silence inside of the Rustbucket, with the occasional chirping from birds outside. She took a deep breath through her nostrils and closed her eyes, wanting to get a few more minutes of sleep.

"Wait a minute."

Yukiko's eyes shot back open as the situation of her environment finally dawned on her. She laid in her lower bunk and listened to the silence within the RV. "It's too quiet. It's never this quiet in here," Yukiko said to herself.

Ever since joining her Tennyson side of the family on this Summer Road Trip there had never been a quiet night or morning inside of this RV(Especially with Ben and the Omnitrix). Whether it was Ben's snoring, Gwen's sleep talk, or Max's constant need to use the bathroom at night; there was never really any quiet.

The mornings would be swamped with everyone moving around to get ready for the day and filled with her younger cousins arguing.

Quickly moving off of the bunk to stand on her feet, Yukiko looked out of the windows to see if her family was nearby. The only thing she saw was the sun's morning light shining down on the green grass below. "Where could they be? Ah! Were they kidnapped!?" She gasped at the terrifying thought. However, she quickly dismissed it. "No, if there was an attack I definitely would've heard it or seen signs of a battle," She figured.

After gathering her outfit for the day, Yukiko made her way into the bathroom. She pulled back the shower curtains and gasped in horror. On the shower's wall was a big green ball of Stinkfly's goop. A piece of paper was stuck to the goop, and the heiress hesitantly reached for it. "Ew. Ew. Ew!" She shook the gunk off the paper and read it.

"Muahahaha! Yukiko Amagi, if you're reading this note then that means that your family has been kidnapped! I have trapped them within a special containment cage that is also a bomb! If you want to see your family again, then come to this address! [Insert random Address here]"

Dr. Buttrocks!

"AH! So, they were kidnapped!?" Yukiko gasped in fright. She looked over the address again to memorize it before setting the paper on fire, because there were still pieces of gunk on it. "Don't worry, everyone! I'll save you soon!" Yukiko declared, fiercely.

"...After I get dressed and clean off this wall," Yukiko pointed her hand at the green gunk and promptly launched a ball of flame at it. Not taking into consideration just how big of an explosion might be caused.

"GAH!"

"Are you okay, Grandpa?"

"Y-Yeah…I just have a bad feeling is all…"

"I'm sure Grandpa won't be too upset about the scorch marks," Yukiko hoped as she ran down the sidewalk. The bathroom wall had scorch marks littered all around it due to Yukiko's attempt at extermination. She was now dressed in a white blouse and black skirt that reached down to her ankles.

Her mind drifted to the thoughts of all the horrible things this Dr. Buttrocks- "Pfft! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" She couldn't stop herself from laughing at the idiotic name, now that she had time to dwell on it. "Who names themself Dr. Buttrocks? Sounds like something Ben would've came up with to be funny," Yukiko sighed, giggling.

The Heiress made it to her destination, which was a one-story warehouse with all of its window blinds closed. Yukiko approached the warehouse and tried to turn the doorknob a few times, only to find out that it's locked. Weirdly enough Yukiko could hear some muffled noises inside of the warehouse, almost as if the voices were whispering an argument. She decided to ignore it since her family needed her help.

"Amaterasu! Agilao!" Yukiko pointed her fan at the door, allowing her Persona to blast the door open with the medium sized fireball.

"OH CRA-!"

"EEEKKK!"

BASH! CRASH! BAM!

"That sounded like…" Yukiko rushed inside of the building. "Ben!? Gwen!?" She yelled after hearing their screams. All she could see was total darkness and hear some groaning and a tired sigh.

Suddenly, the lights to the warehouse had cut on, allowing Yukiko to finally see what was inside of the warehouse. There wasn't any sort of technological cage designed as a bomb with her family inside. Nor was her family in any form of peril.

In front of her was a large banner with HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAYS, YUKIKO painted on it hanging from the ceiling. There were a few tables with party games lined up on top of them, and some streamers. Next to the tables was her Grandfather who was pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation.

"And it was going so smoothly too," He sighed.

"Uh, Grandpa, what's going on? Where's Ben and Gwen?" Yukiko asked, confused.

"Look over there," He pointed over to the side. The Heiress looked over to the side of the room to see the door that she had blown off lying on the ground, a scorch mark on it. However, that wasn't the weirdest part about the scene. Underneath the torn door were two pairs of familiar limbs twitching in pain, groans being heard from underneath.

"Oh no!" Yukiko rushed over to her cousins and pushed the door of them.

Ben and Gwen were on the floor, the two toppled on top of each other. Gwen pushed Ben off of her and released a tired sigh. The Omnitrix bearer was doing his best to not transform out of pure irritation.

"Ben! Gwen! What happened to you two!?"

"YOU HAPPENED!" They yelled at her with shark teeth. The two 10 year olds were on their feet in seconds angry.

"This wouldn't have happened if Ben hadn't locked the door like a doofus!" Gwen turned to yell at the boy. Pushing her finger into his chest.

"Me!? You never said we weren't supposed to lock it!" Ben defended himself.

"Why would you lock the door of a surprise party!? We want her inside the place, not outside!" Gwen yelled.

"Maybe if your instructions were clear enough, I would've known that!"

"It's common knowledge, you dimwit!"

Having had enough of the bickering and confused as hell, Yukiko intervened. She took her fan and bopped both of her cousins on the head with it.

"Ow!" They both gripped their heads in pain.

"Quit it, you two! Can someone please explain what all of this is about!?" Yukiko exclaimed, motioning towards the entire failed surprise party.

Max sighed again and walked towards his Grandkids. "This was supposed to be a surprise Birthday party for you," He answered.

"Birthday party? But, my birthday is in December," Yukiko pointed out.

"I know, but I've missed 17 years of your Birthdays. So, I wanted to do a little something for you. So, I had Ben and Gwen help me set this up over the past couple of days. I had Ben and Gwen write that note for you," Max explained.

"Wait, so that's why you three kept going off so suddenly?" Yukiko asked.

"Yup! And it all would've been a success if Ben didn't muck it up!" Gwen growled.

"Not my fault!" Ben retorted.

Max put his hands up. "It doesn't matter who's fault it is. What all three of us have been wanting to tell you, Yukiko is…"

Max brought his arms back from behind his back to showcase the cake they had bought for her Birthday. Gwen and Ben flanked his sides and stuck out their arms.

"Happy Late Birthday, Yukiko!" All three shouted together.

The Heiress' eyes widened as she stared at her family. Now that she was aware of what was happening she once again gazed around the warehouse. "They did all of this for me? I never mentioned my Birthday at all or even expressed any thoughts about wanting anything," Yukiko's heart was brimming with warmth at the gesture the three had put together.

"Thank you, all of you," A warm smile graced her lips.

Max nodded his head. "Now, that's settled. How about some cake before we play the games?" He suggested.

"Alright! I've been craving some cake!" Ben cheered. He reached for it, but Max pulled the cake away from him.

"No, Ben. Yukiko gets the first slice," He said. The 10 year old huffed in annoyance.

"Fine! I can wait a few seconds," He waved off. He watched as Max placed the cake onto the table with Yukiko and Gwen following after him. Ben smirked evilly and activated the Omnitrix, he scrolled through his roster, and slammed the dial down.

Gwen turned around at the sound of the flash, only to find Ben gone. A chill was sent up her spine as something invisible had quickly flown past her. The girl turned back to her Grandfather and older cousin to find Yukiko was about to take a piece of the cake for herself.

"Uh, Yukiko?"

"Hm? Gwen, what's the matt-"

SPLAT!

Before Yukiko could finish her sentence the cake had been slammed into her face by an invisible force. Everyone stood frozen at what had just transpired, completely baffled. Until a familiar laugh began to echo within the warehouse.

Ghostfreak turned tangible and was clutching his stomach as he laughed uncontrollably. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, man! That was hilarious!"

"BEN!" Gwen and Max yelled at him, angry.

"What!? It's just a prank?" He continued to laugh. His boisterous laughter continued until he felt something constrict around his ghostly body. "Uh? W-What?" He saw two golden arms wrap around him tightly, holding him in place.

All eyes turned to Yukiko, who was still standing still, pieces of cake littered across her face. Even with how ridiculous she looked there was a dangerous glint in her eyes that sent a shiver down Ghostfreak's spine.

"Seems someone has gotten a little bit ahead of himself? Time for some discipline!" A dark aura began radiating off of the heiress body. Gwen instinctively ran behind her Grandfather, hoping that she would be safe.

Ghostfreak began shaking in fear, trying to escape Amaterasu's hold. "W-Wait, why can't I phase out of this!?"

"Amaterasu counts as a spirit, Ben. You're trapped," Yukiko's giggle did little to ease the growing fear in his heart. The teenager was slowly making her way over to him, a sickening sweet smile plastered on her face.

"I-It was just a joke! Wasn't it funny!?" Ghostfreak panicked. He closed his one eye as Yukiko got closer to him, hoping whatever pain was coming would be quick.

SPLAT!

"What?" The ghost blinked in surprise as he felt cake frosting all over his face. The next thing he heard was Yukiko's hyena laughter as well as Gwen's and Max's laughter.

Yukiko was doubled over, clutching her own stomach. "Y-You're right, Ben! It was pretty funny! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" She pointed at him, teasingly.

"Y-You should've seen the look on your face!" Gwen was wiping a tear from her eye.

"S-She got you good, Ben!" Max was chuckling at his Grandson's karma.

The watch began beeping and Ghostfreak turned back to Ben. The boy was unceremoniously dropped back onto the ground, cake frosting still on his face. He glared at his family embarrassed about getting his own joke thrown back at him. "Oh yeah? Well how about this!?" He slid over to the cake on the floor and tossed a handful at Gwen.

The ball of cake made contact with her face, knocking Gwen onto her butt. The younger female glared at him. "You little-I'm gonna get you for that!" She charged at him and tackled him into the rest of the spilled cake mess.

Yukiko walked over to the two. "Stop that! You're gonna get cake all over the pla-" She was cut off by the two pulling her down with them, shoving more cake frosting into her face. "Oh, you two are gonna get it now!" Soon enough the cake that was supposed to be eaten by the four of them had been turned into a miniature food fight between cousins.

Max shook his head, knowing he probably should've expected this. He turned around and pulled out another cake that he had bought just in case Ben somehow managed to ruin the first cake. He walked over to the three of them with the new strawberry cake in hand. "Kids!"

The three paused and turned to their Grandfather, their clothes now dirty and ruined with cake frosting and vanilla coverings. Suddenly, Yukiko was met with another piece of cake smashed into her face, and fell backwards.

Ben laughed loudly at the sight until a piece was smashed into his own face.

Gwen did the laughing this time until she also was sent falling back with cake to the face. The three Grandkids sat up, blinking owlishly at their Grandfather's smirking face.

"What? Did you kids think your old man wouldn't be able to keep up?" He grinned.

Ben was the first one to get his wits back together. "Alright! FAMILY FOOD FIGHT!" He took a chunk of cake off his face and tossed it at Max, hitting him in the face.

"I'm not gonna lose to you!" Gwen pressed her cake filled hands into Ben's face. She was unprepared for Yukiko to drop another chunk down her shirt. "Gya!"

"I'm not out of this yet!" Yukiko giggled, until Max had pelted her with some more cake balls into her back. She was knocked into Gwen and the two fell onto Ben.

Max was quickly attacked by all three of his Grandkids, with hands full of strawberry and chocolate cake.

For the rest of the day the warehouse was filled with the rambunctious laughter of the Tennyson family as they completely destroyed the inside of the warehouse.

Max pulled the cover over his Grandkids as the three slept soundly. After having to clean up the gigantic mess they had created from the party, the Tennysons had made their way back to the RV. None of his Grandkids had changed out of their cake covered clothes due to how exhausted they were from the food fight. All three had passed out on Yukiko's bunk, and immediately fell asleep.

The Grandfather smiled at the heartwarming sight of it. He reached into his pockets and pulled out a picture. The four of them had taken a photo at the end to remember the fun they all had today.

Ben had a huge grin on his face as he was standing in a pose, his hand thrusted forward making a peace sign, his face littered with strawberry frosting. Gwen was smiling just as wide as Ben, making a double peace sign with her hands. In between them both was Yukiko who had her hands on their heads, laughing joyously at the mess they had created. Behind all three of them was himself, having to stand in the back because of his height. He had an equally large smile as his Grandkids and held up his own peace sign to match.

Releasing a content breath, he looked out the window at the clear night sky. "17 years, huh? Soon she'll be 18 years old, I missed so much of her growing up. I'm sorry, son," Max whispered to himself, his mind replaying old events from the past.

Shaking his head, he put the picture away into a photo album and moved to get himself ready for bed. They had a witchcraft museum to explore tomorrow after all.
