A/N: A completely different chapter has begun in my life, where after long 12/years, I am facing the outer world now!! Ironically, I realized during this whole period, I am extremely poor at expressing myself vocally, and my main comfort zone is expressing myself through my writing. But that's not how the outer world works.!! Right? Anyway, I will try my best to update regularly. If short or with some mistakes, please look at them with forgiveness. I always need your support guys :)..

And my dear Guest, please never beg me, just tell me :).. I am a big fan of Ranma like all of you. We all are the same :) :)..

"Umm.. I am still so confused, Ranma honey.. I don't know what to choose from! There is lot of flavours here!!"

Ukyo said while checking the menu over and over again.

Ranma started to feel bore as he kept tapping his finger over the table. He laid back to his chair and growled inwardly when he saw her starting to check the menu from the beginning again. It's been almost twenty minutes since they have come to this place and she is still confused..! He had enough of waiting for her, he took the menu book from her hand and says with a pain tone,

"Look, this one is good here.."

"Hum?! Really!!" She looks at it and says in a confuse tone, "How can you tell that it is good,huh? It looks so plain to me!"

Ranma sighs and said with a normal tone, without even thinking once about what he was saying,

"Because, 'Kane always has this stuff when we come here.. And she said she loves it.."

Ukyo clutched the menu book tightly and greeted her teeth in anger as she thought bitterly,

' Kane.. Kane.. KANE!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY!! No!! Calm down Ukyo.. You need to focus hard.. I have to do something really quick to make him see the difference between the two of us.. And I think I know what I have to do now..'

Smiling slyly she looks up at him and says playfully,

"Oh honey, this looks so boring to me.. I can never have this and insult you for buying me this dumb thing! I want a deluxe one that looks more luscious, you know..Which will define my choice much better.. Ummm, here! I found one!" She showed him her choice in the menu, "This one looks so expensive and elegant as well !! A glorious girl like me can only choose this delicacy.."

She finished saying while giving him a slutery look. He growled inwardly but before he could say anything anymore, the waiter came to take their order. Ukyo showed the waiter her choice, hearing some appreciation from the waiter for her choice which made her even more happier. Then the waiter turns to Ranma and asks him,

"And for you, sir?"

Ranma sighs and politely shows his choice to him, which is none other than the one that Akane always chooses. The waiter smiles knowingly as he nodded and said,

"You won't like to change your regular order, sir?"

"No, thanks!" Ranma replies as he looks back at him, "I will always choose this one, my choice will always remain the same.."

The waiter smiled and nodded then left the place.

"I just can't believe you choose that out of this all goodies! Why have you done that, Ranchan?! You shouldn't have.."

"This is my choice, Ukyo. And I love that one… And believe me, I can never choose another one.."

He declared while staring at her with his hard bold eyes. Ukyo also stared back at him, clearly understanding the hidden meaning of his words. But, she decided to ignore that as she smiles at him and says,

"You will regret it after you will see mine.."

Ranma just smirked at her and slowly shook his head… Soon, after some moments,finally their order came, making Ukyo gushing over her choice of dessert..

"Look honey! Now ya understand what I meant by expensive and elegant choice?"

Ranma eyed his plain looking dessert, then shrugging his shoulder he started enjoyed his dessert with a smile on his face,

"Ya sure..! But nothing can beat my this one!! It's the best.."

After saying that, he saw her growling in a low tone and pouting at him angrily. He just kept looking at his food and avoided looking in her direction. Then from the corner of his eyes, he saw her starting to enjoy her dessert with a foul mood. He carefully eyed her dessert and then to his one as he thought to himself,

'Ukyo is right though.. This actually looks so plain and to think of it, it is the cheapest one in here.. Did Akane always choose this one on purpose? Maybe because she didn't want me to spend more money? That idiot! Why does she always act like this?! She shouldn't have done that! Well, what am I thinking! I am the one who is baka here, I should have known her better..'

He sighs sadly as he takes a spoonful of his sweet, as his perceptions recognised the familiar taste of it which they both enjoyed lots of times before. His expression immediately becomes warm as a soft smile adored over his lips. This taste alone was making him nostalgic as his heart filled with a warm sensation. Because suddenly, because of this, he pleasantly started fantasizing about his tomboy. About the way she smiles at him, the twinkling of her eyes when he forcefully brings her here to have treats, the way she always closes her eyes in bliss while enjoying her treats, her soft moans of pleasure that played like a warm melody to his ears… Her all act of innocence has been fully tattooed into his heart and now that he is having his treat without her, his feeling is doubled up for her, because he started missing her so badly. Every bit of this treat was making him feel like she was there with him, sitting in front of him, like she always does. He closes his eyes in complete contentment as he slowly savours the moment. He was missing her presence so much, all he wanted to do was to just run back to her and hug her tightly and to beg her for little mercy, so that she wouldn't ever repeat what she did yesterday.

He sighs again and slowly opened his eyes, and suddenly something unusual caught his sight. He was facing the door side so the counter was clearly visible to him. He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion and got surprised, when he saw that suddenly his fantasy came into reality as he saw none other than Akane standing in front of the counter. He kept looking at the scene with wide unbelievable eyes, still too shocked to react at the scene.

'But.. How is it possible!? And hey! If it's my delusion that I am seeing now, why am I seeing Akio in it too!!'

"Ranchan, Oh God! You have almost finished! Will you please give me some moment, I am almost finished.." She looked up at him smiling, but when she saw his startled expression, she also turned to look at the scene that made him too stunned all of a sudden. And the scene that played in front of her immediately made her day look victorious. She inwardly howled in accomplishment and bits her lower lips in excitement. For a moment there, she thought that she had lost all her opportunity to woo her Ranchan. But not anymore! She knows what she has to do now. Now it has become a battle to her. It's like, it's now or never.. Her smile brighten even more when she saw how Akio was trying to cheer Akane up as he ruffled Akane's hair to tease her, which earned him a friendly slap on his hand as they both laughed. That scene made her even more excited as she took some deep breaths to control her excitement, she slowly turned to look back at Ranma with a plain face, pretending to be indifference.

"What is the matter with you, sugar? Why are you looking like you just saw a ghost or something?!"

For a brief moment Ranma shifted his gaze to look at Ukyo, but his startled eyes again turned back to look at the scene that was playing in front of him, as he became completely silent out of uncertainty..

Ukyo again bit her lower lips when she noticed how depressed he seemed to look. She clears her throat to bring his attention back to her as she nonchalantly says,

"Oh please, honey, don't look this surprised!! Seriously, nowadays seeing Akane with this guy has become a common thing for us! You know, Some restaurant owners I know even asked me about what's going on between them. They were concerned about you too, because they can easily see that Akahe is playing with your emotions here! It's so visible to all of us that those two are more than just friends! This Akane is such a snicky I tell you.. I am surprised that you still have no idea of them being together! You know, for me, Shampoo was way more better than Akane. She was at least honest with you! But just look at how Akane is playing with both you guys here! This is so cheap.."

"I HEARD ENOUGH!!"

Ranma scowled loudly as he banged his hands loudly over the table. He stood up from his chair and that loud commotion was enough for everyone to turn their heads to look at the person who made that noise. And that's how Akane's wandering eyes meet with Ranma's furious ones as he looks back at her with hard eyes.

Akane took a sharp breath when she saw Ranma standing there, giving her an agitated stare, but she could also tell how hurt he was actually looking at that moment. She became completely stiff as she kept looking back at him helplessly, her breathe became stagnant, it was as if she was having hard time breathing as well. After some moment of staring at each other, she saw him slowly walking towards her, all the while giving her a heated glare, his eyes unblinking. She also couldn't dare to blink her eyes as she saw him nearing her side. Then he came face to face with her and looked at her hard, with anger in his eyes.

He was looking at her with unbelievable eyes which was inwardly accusing her of betraying him. But as he kept staring at her eyes, her face, his anger slowly started to melt down and suddenly he started to feel guilty for suspecting her and doubting her honesty.. He knows this girl very well, this is not just any ordinary girl to him, this girl means everything to him. And now if he starts doubting her, then his whole life will be a complete hoax. This is his Akane! The only girl that he wants to spend his whole life with! How could he doubt her by hearing someone else!? What is wrong with him?! What is he doing?!!

She could tell how furious he was at that time, but then after some moment she saw him calming down a bit as he gave a defeated sigh. She gulped in anticipation and suddenly started to feel guilty for agreeing with Akio to come here. She wanted to apologise to him, she wanted to hold his hand and ask him for his forgiveness. But it was as if she had lost all the ability to talk as she kept giving him a vulnerable look. Then to her surprise, she saw him shaking his head in disappointment, he then hastily turned to the counter, paid his bill and went out of the store without even saying anything to her. He didn't even turn back to look at her when she called his name. Ranma hurriedly left that place, followed by Ukyo who was running behind him and calling out to him to get his attention back.

"Oh Ranma…" Akane whispers in a low voice as she sees Ranma leaving her all alone again, her eyes tear up with the harsh reality of their situation as she didn't even try to stop her tears which shamelessly flow down on her face…..

"RANMA!! Ranma wait up!! RANCHAN! RANMA HONEY, PLEASE STOP!! WAIT FOR ME PLEASE!!"

After he heard her numerous requests to stop, eventually he gave up on ignoring her and stopped on his tracks. He turned to look at her and saw her stopping in front of him. She started panting hard as she had to hold her knee to support her to stand still. Then she says while panting hard,

"Why are you leaving me behind, honey?! We are supposed to be together today.."

Ranma had enough of all this as he boldly announced,

"Look, I think we should stop this.. I am really feeling tired now, Ukyo."

"It's Ucchan.." She intervenes in the middle, looking at him firmly, making her point clear to him.

Ranma realised a deep breath and said,

"Yeah, whatever.. I am leaving."

But to his surprise, she stopped him quickly by desperately grabbing his arm tightly as she said in a pleading tone,

"Please, Ranchan! Please don't leave me like this.."

"Ucchan please.."

"NO! Please Ranchan.. I don't know when I will get this opportunity again to spend time with you . Please don't let some incidents ruin this day..! I just asked for one day, that's it honey. I am not asking you to stay with me at night! Just two more hours and that's all! I won't request you anymore! Please I beg you, this day means a lot to me, don't destroy it for me. Please Ranchan please, don't go.. Just give me two more hours, I promise I won't ask for more.."

Ranma sighed, fully crushed, he looked away from her, contemplating whether to turn her request down or not. But deep down he knows he can't do that, because whatever it is, he still sees her as his friend. But his mood is still sour because of what he witnessed in the ice cream store, his heart is still hurting with the raw emotions he is feeling for Akane. And the way Ukyo just talked about it all, it is making him too much uncomfortable to even breathe properly.

"Ranchan.. Please.."

Ranma sighs and said bitterly,

"Okay! But not more than two hours! And ya can't ask anyone for any more dates with me !!"

She released a sigh of relief and said, "I promise I won't , honey.. If I want any date with you, I will directly ask you next time, ok?"

"Whatever!" He ignored the topic and told her with a bored tone, "I don't know where to go anymore.."

Ukyo smiled mischievously at him and said in a cheerful tone,

"Oh leave it to me.. I know where to go. But before that, you have to buy me something. Please Ranchan??!!"

"Buy ya what exactly?"

"Just follow me, Sugar.." she replied while winking at him.

Not knowing what to do anymore, he started to follow her silently. At first, she had taken him to a clothing store and from there she bought a kimono for her with Ranma's money. Ranma's emotions were fully drained at that time, he just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible. After some moment, when Ukyo changed into her newly bought kimono, she started guiding him to follow her again. He half heartedly started to follow her and soon realized his mistake for agreeing to her plea to continue this so-called date. He stood stiffly, his eyes wide with surprise as he looked up at the place. He recognised this place immediately. It was too close to his heart and he has a very special memory attached with this place. From whatever place she could have chosen to take him, she brings him here, where he was actually planning to bring Akane after she had done with all her exams. But now, the scene has changed, he is now going to this festival, but not with whom he wanted to come with, but with that person he could never ever imagine bringing to this place. The place where he was planning to confess his true feelings to Akane and where he wanted to tell her how he really feels about her. Where they had come together a year ago, to the "WEAVERS' FESTIVAL"...

A/ N: I know it's short, but I wanted to update because I barely get time anymore!! I have taken this as my responsibility to finish this fic, no matter how busy I become, because I know lots of people's emotions are already got attached to this fic. I hope you guys remember the " Weavers Festival"! It's one of my most favourite chapters in Ranma manga! See you guys soon :).. Hope really soon..
