Prologue

"Hey kurama , do you still don't wanna escape, it is your last chance or else you will be stuck with me " asked naruto dodging one more attack aimed on him by kaguya

"you brat do you think I don't know what decision I'm making !, I am the great nine tail fox and I know what I want so stop thinking with the pea size thing you call brain and tell the plan" huffed kurama

"Whatever you say furball" said naruto rolling his eyes

" hey sasuke teme" naruto called out for sasuke mid attack

"What do you want dobe" responded sasuke attacking kaguya with chidori

"I have a plan teme" shouted naruto and then he started running and a dodging her attacks during which she threw an attack on naruto which was a red ball of light which was absorbed just above the heart by naruto but went unnoticed by everyone but kurama, but he stayed silent.

~after defeating kaguya ~

" kakashi sensei , sakura-chan we did it dattebayo" cheered naruto and sasuke stood silent

"Yep and I am very proud of cute little students" said kakashi with his signature eye smile and sakura rolled her eyes at being called little.

Just when naruto was about to say something he started glowing red for the part above heart which was attacked and everyone gasped

"ku-kura wh-what is happening to me" naruto asked aloud in slight panic

"kit listen to me , calm down and listen when you were attacking her threw an attack on which got unnoticed by you ,and I think I know what she did " replied kurama

"what is happening to you naruto and why are glowing" asked a worried sakura and kakashi and even sasuke looked a bit roubled

" kurama told that while fighting kaguya threw an unknown attack on me " explained naruto

" kit listen you know that rabbit goddess is capable of dimension travel right? " asked kurama and naruto nodded

"I think she threw a special space-time jutsu which will take you away from here and you will never be able to return , I was only able to hold the effects of the jutsu for so long , I am sorry kit but I will always be there for you " explained kurama knowing how much this will affect his kit who fought so long for his village's acceptance and after receiving it, he himself won't be present here

Naruto couldn't bear it any more after years of being shunned , ignored , mistreated and years of training losing blood , sweat and now that he had been accepted and he lost all in a single attack . His eyes started watering has tears started flowing without him know but he didn't care , even after winning this battle he lost , he lost his dreams , future and his precious people and will be gone to sage knows where and won't even be able to come back.

kakashi, sakura and sasuke started worrying as the light started to glow brighter and wondered what kurama told that naruto started sobbing like they lost, oh only they knew how right they are

" dobe what did kurama say you are worrying kakashi and sakura " asked sasuke like he wasn't worried at all

Naruto took a deep breath to steady himself he can cry and wallow in self-pity afterwards first he has explain to his friends and team.

" kurama told me that the attack the rabbit goddess did on me was a space-time jutsu on me which will transport me in another dimension from where I can't c-come b-back " explained naruto though his voice cracked in the end

Their eyes widened and sakura let out gasp and asked " na-naruto yo-your joking right , right?"

Naruto shook his head as the light started spreading slowly " No sakura-chan, I am not joking "and gave a watery smile

"Oh naruto.." and sakura couldn't bear it and engulfed him in a hug and started sobbing and even kakashi and sasuke couldn't hold back their tears though sasuke turned away so nobody could see.

"Shh shh sakura-chan don't worry it could have been worse " naruto tried to sooth though he didn't know he was saying it for sakura or himself.

" kit we don't have much time ,I can't hold it any longer " kurama sounded strained.

Naruto took a deep breath and extracted himself from the hug ," Guys I want to tell you some things before I ..l go "

Naruto turned to sakura first who had tear streaks on her face " Sakura-chan you know that I always had a crush on you and I will always care for you , you really came a long way from where we started as genin and became a medic nin only for our team . l hope that you will live an happy life with sasuke and be there for him "

He then turned to kakashi ," Kakasensei without team seven wouldn't be as strong it is and all those memories we spent together training , missions and even our bell tests these memories will always close to heart and sensei please don't force yourself much dattebayo"

kakashi just gave an eye smile though they held hints of grief

And at last he turned to sasuke " Sasuke though we always fought and we still do you will always be my best friend and I will cherish the memories of the mission in which we fought together and I still don't regret coming are you, you know " said rubbing his head

" hey sasuke can you do me a favor " this time he asked little quietly as he saw the light spread on abdomen

" tch what is it do-naruto" asked sasuke as though irritated though others know that he is only hiding his sadness

" Can you become the hokage in my stead and take care of our village, and before you say anything know that this was my dream and I want you to fulfill it and also take care of sakura " he whispered the last part and Sasuke only nodded his head in affirmation and Naruto took a few step behind

But before saying anything he mentally asked Kurama " Hey Kura do you really want to come with me I wouldn't mind if you don't, this is our home and anyway you were born in these lands "

" kit have you lost what you call as brain , of course I coming you were my home for last 16 years kit and even before you were born we were together where you go that will be my home kit and my siblings will take care of shinobi nation and, who will lose a chance to explore and have adventure across dimension not me " replied Kurama to lighten the mood

"of course you overgrown fox " Naruto chuckled mentally and added a quiet thank you

"Guys please tell Sai to smile more for real , tell Shika to take care and tell Gara that I am sorry for not being able to become hokage and tell rookie 9 and konoha 11 that I am sorry for not being there , take care grandma Tsunade and do visit ichirako every ones in a while and ... take care of our village dattebayo" he added for last time and mentally added to kurama that he was ready and kurama stopped his resistance against the red light and it engulfed and next second he vanished as if not he was not present at all and all three broke down

"Na-Naruto he-he is gone forever " sobbed sakura and kakashi and Sasuke were at her side

" Don't worry Sakura I know that where ever he goes he will befriend and save many people and also will live his life to fullest we can only pray and wish him good luck for this new journey " kakashi tried to encourage her though himself is grieving at the lose of his student and sensei's son

" Yes and I only hope the dobe will find someone for him as partner , he was so clueless, so many people loved him and the fool didn't even notice " Sasuke said though there was no bite in it and hid his emotions.

Kakashi could only pity Sasuke he knew Sasuke was among the people who liked naruto but couldn't outright tell him and even he couldn't tell so that he couldn't add more regrets to naruto

After a while they stood up started moving to the direction of the village to give news of the battle they won and but the war they lost they could only hope that naruto will find a new dream hope and friends in another dimension with Kurama.

And how right they where they didn't know

A/N : how was the prologue, it took quit some hours to finish it, anyway guys please share your reviews on it if you find any error and i will rectify it
