Chapter 1: Kept you waiting, huh? (1/5)
"Kept you waiting, huh?" It was the first thing that Pliskin said once the door was open.
"Hi..." The one who answered the door was Rosemary, who immediately hugged Pliskin once the door was open. She was wearing dark gray trousers and a black sweater.
"Hi, Rose." He returned the hug right away.
"Hey." Sunny spoke as she hugged her too.
"Come on in." She signaled them to enter the house, which they did right away. "Let me grab that." Rose then pushed Pliskin's coat off of him in order to hang it.
"Thanks."
Upon entrance, Pliskin noticed that the house was kind of messy, as there were some boxes in the entrance and he could see some from far away in the kitchen. They were probably going to be moving out, but that was expected. Rose led the two of them to the living room and told them to sit down in the nice looking couches there. Once they did, both Pliskin and Sunny sat down.
"Where's John?" Sunny asked Rosemary.
"He... Went for a walk." Rosemary replied, she didn't seem okay with it.
"Can he do that?" Sunny asked her in curiosity.
"He shouldn't be doing that but you know how he's like." The bullet did some pretty good damage on him and he hasn't fully recovered from it yet.
Pliskin just sat there, listening to the two talking. Sadly, he didn't have anything to say, despite the fact that he hasn't spoken to John or Rosemary since what happened. And he feels incredibly guilty for that, but part of him is still dealing with what happened himself.
But...
"I'm sorry." Pliskin spoke up, which called the attention of the two of them, who moved their heads to look at him.
"What are you apologizing for?" Rose asked him in confusion.
"For... Ignoring both John and you after what happened, I just..." He couldn't find the right words.
"You were just dealing with it on your way, I understand." Rose immediately spoke up about the subject. "John is a little mad with you, but he'll get over it." She approached her son's best friend. "I know what Jack meant to you and I understand that you were just as affected by what happened to him just as much as we were." She touched his shoulder gently. "So don't feel guilty, okay?"
"Okay..." He heard her words and ended up making a decision that he would probably regret making it. "You wanna know what happened?"
Both Rosemary and Sunny widened her eyes in surprise with his offer.
"Are you gonna tell us?" Sunny asked him. Clearly wanting to know the details of what happened and who or what killed Raiden.
"Yes," Pliskin replied. "But only if you want to know." He told Rosemary as it revolves around her more than it did him.
A small pause ensued as Rosemary stared deeply into Pliskin's blue eyes with her brown ones. The silence lasted for a nearly a minute before Rose finally answered. "Yes, please tell me."
【Three weeks ago:】
Left!" The one wearing a bandana yelled.
Both Dark Snake and White Fox were inside of a cargo truck, driving at full speed towards the location where the explosion occurred. Sadly, several hostiles were chasing them. Suddenly, two cars approached and stood on each side of the truck. Fox's response was to hit the car on his head by rolling the wheel to the left, smashing the left side of the truck into the car, causing it to crash into a nearby warehouse. Snake, on the other hand, was trying to shoot the car on the right side with his handgun, aiming at the tire as he was hoping that the car would crash with one of the others behind it. It worked as it only took two shots for the tire to be hit, which caused the car to lose control and crash.
"What's with these damn warehouses?" White Fox asked in annoyance. Understandably since they already passed through a pretty high number of warehouses already.
"To store cargo." It was Dark Snake's reply to the obvious question as he reloaded the AK-47. Still a bit frustrated that his personal assault rifle got damaged and he had to pick from one of the corpses.
"Anything from Raiden?" Fox asked him.
Snake attempted to communicate through the codec once again.
Raiden!? Answer me!?
(No Signal)
"Dammit!" Snake cursed as this was not a good sign. "No signal."
"What the hell do you mean, no signal!?" Fox immediately asked in clear worry. "The codec is connected to his cybernetic body!"
Both friends looked at one another in visible fear. Fox immediately went full speed with the truck in order to arrive at the destination. Strangely enough, Snake stuck his head out of the passenger's seat in order to check for hostile vehicles, only to be greeted by the sight of an empty pathway with only visible vehicles from a distance. Why did they stop? Snake asked himself in confusion. But then he felt a very strange smell in the air, which was accompanied by an even stranger cold breeze.
"Are you feeling this?" Fox asked him, as confused as he was since it was hot as hell there since they arrived and suddenly there was a strange cold air going their way.
"I have a bad feeling about this..." Dark Snake really didn't like where this was going.
"Every single time you say that, something really bad happens." White Fox pointed out in visible fear.
"Then prepare yourself for it." It was his advice for his best friend as he gripped his assault rifle.
The two of them remained completely silent for the rest of the ride, taking ten minutes to arrive at the spot of the explosion. Seeing the huge crater on the ground with the remains of what was supposedly a warehouse scattered around, there was also an intense fire inside the crater, a fire that somehow didn't affect the cold that they were feeling.
"What the..." Snake said upon seeing the destruction around the area.
"Come on, we gotta find my father." Fox rushed him as he exited the truck.
Snake followed him and once he exited the truck, the cold feeling intensified, making everything even more confusing since there was a giant fire going on right ahead of them.
"Ahhh... What is this?!" Fox asked as he hugged his arms in an attempt to warm himself. "Where is this cold coming from?"
Snake was asking himself the same question, preparing his assault rifle for any danger. "Raiden! Are you here?!"
"RAIDEN!?" Fox called for his father. "Come on, let's at least search for a trace of him."
Snake nods in response.
With their assault rifles ready, both Dark Snake and White Fox started to search the area, ignoring the very confusing cold and strange smell that they were both feeling for the time being in order to search for Raiden. Walking in slow and calculating steps around the area due to the doubt of what actually caused that amount of damage. The oddity of the situation just kept increasing, especially since his head was hurting.
"Ah..." Fox complained while holding his head.
"Headache too?" He asked and he just nodded in confirmation. Trying to understand it for a second, that smell wasn't toxic, and they were in an open space. So it could be radiation or something similar, which wasn't good. Radiation... No... None of those hostiles had the type of equipment necessary to handle radioactive substances or objects and there's no way they would store something like that inside of a simple warehouse. Snake sighed in frustration as he was really annoyed by the fact that he doesn't know what exactly they were after. Can't complain, John and I agreed to join Raiden on this mission despite the lack of information about it.
"Snake..." Fox called for him, moving his head to look at his silver haired partner, he noticed that he was in front of something. "Look..."
Snake approached him in order to see what it was, once he stood next to Fox, he noticed that there was a small pool of a very strange yellow liquid on the ground. A confused look appeared on Snake's face before he kneels down to check what that was.
"What is this?" Fox asked as Snake inspected. "The weird smell is coming from that." Fox was right, the strange smell was coming from whatever that substance was.
"I don't know," Snake replied as he drew his personal combat knife from the sheath on the left side of his hip. "Doesn't look toxic." He pointed out as he touched the strange fluid with his knife. What is this...? He simply can't figure it out.
"Snake," Fox called him once again. Moving his head up to look at him and noticed him looking in a particular direction. "See that?" A few steps away from them, they notice a drop of that yellow substance. Snake stood up to be able to see it clearly and notice more of those drops up ahead. Trail. He placed his knife back on the sheath. "Come on..." Fox signaled him to move while having his assault rifle ready.
The partners then moved towards the trail of the yellow substance, hopefully, it would lead to whatever was the source of it or better yet, it would lead them to Raiden. They were moving in slow steps mainly to investigate their surroundings as the cold feeling and the headache was still affecting them. Alongside the fact that the hostiles that were just chasing them completely disappeared. Did they stop chasing us because we were coming here? Snake asked himself.
The trail led the two to another warehouse, which was completely undamaged. The two arrived at a door that was open with the yellow thing in front of the small gap. Fox positioned himself in front of the door to open it while Snake stood in front of it with his assault rifle, ready to shoot. With a nod, he signaled his partner to open the door. Which he did, slowly.
Once the door was completely open, Dark Snake and White Fox slowly entered the warehouse in order to check. It was dark in there, with only the sunlight shining through the windows to illuminate the place. Despite his name, Dark Snake actually hated the darkness, despite the tactical advantages that darkness provides, though, he gladly makes use of it if the situation requires.
The warehouse was filled with strange containers that were clearly meant to be cargo. But the containers weren't exactly their concern. What was their concern was the trail of the yellow fluid that they were following through the little maze of containers that they found themselves in.
"What is this shit?" Fox asked in visible confusion.
"Whatever is, it's not good." Snake replied as the two continued to follow the trail.
Eventually, they arrived at a dead end as the trail ended in the middle of the warehouse. "Great, now what?" Fox asked as he searched the other directions.
Snake didn't respond, he just searched around like Fox was doing, but he was searching by looking at every single spot around, which was difficult due to the containers blocking the view. Then he took a good look at the last piece of the trail once again. Either someone was carrying something that was leaking or... No way... Could it be...
"Earth to Snake, are you gonna share your thoughts with me or what?" Fox spoke, snapping Snake out of his thoughts.
It took a few seconds of consideration before Snake shared his suspicion. "I think... This yellow thing is blood."
"Yellow blood? Who the hell bleeds yellow blood, Snake?" Fox asked him in clear disbelief.
Taking a few seconds of consideration, Snake noticed something. If it was bleeding and it left that trail, there was no way the bleeding stopped here, and there was no way to go without leaving a trail but... Up. Moving his head up in a painfully slow pace, Snake sadly saw that his assumption was correct as he can see a silhouette hiding in the dark right at the ceiling above them. Fox moved his head up as well and immediately pointed his gun at the silhouette. It didn't react to it, and just stood there, watching them from above in complete silence.
...
...
...
"Get down from there or I'll shoot!" Fox ordered the figure above them after a minute of complete silence.
...
...
...
"AAAHH!" And exactly thirty seconds afterwards, the figure descended from above, landing perfectly where the yellow blood was and in a unbelievable speed, charged and attacked Fox with a right haymaker to his face while effortlessly pulling his Heckler & Koch HK33 off his hands and smashing into his face like a club, knocking him out instantly.
"Fox!" Snake yelled before he attempted to fire at the individual, only for him to toss the assault rifle at him, luckily, he managed to dodge it by ducking. Fox's assault rifle collided on one of the containers and fell on the floor. But right after Snake dodge it, the individual closed the distance between the two and hit Snake with a shoulder tackle which launched him into the same container that the assault rifle collided with. Before he could recover and point the AK-47 to shoot, the individual pulled off his hands and smashed into the container, breaking it. But once he did, Snake took the opportunity to perform a sweep kick while he was down, although it landed it only caused the mysterious individual to perform a cartwheel to the right in order to keep himself from falling. Snake then rolled to the left, standing up from the floor and drawing his handgun. "Don't move!" He ordered the individual. Standing right in front of him, Snake was finally able to take a good look at him. It was a young man, probably around his early twenties. He had chin length black hair in a side part that framed his androgynous looking face, fair skin and dark eyes. He was wearing a blue long coat with a strange looking form-fitting suit under it that made his skinny build very apparent, he also had metal shackles on both of his wrists and ankles. "Wh-" Before Snake could question who Mysterious Stranger was, however, something else descended from the ceiling.
His attention ended up changing from the young man in front of him, towards whatever the hell just from above. Only to get him to widen his eyes in horror as the thing that just descended from the ceiling was a Cyborg Body. A headless Cyborg body that Snake immediately recognized. No... That's Raiden's... Sadly, his distraction proved to be his undoing as the mysterious guy with shackles closed the distance and slapped his handgun off his hands, before grabbing him by the and smashing him into the container once again. Then he lifted Snake off the floor by the neck and started to strangle him. "Such fragility." The guy spoke in a soft voice. "Makes you wonder the purpose of it." He spoke in a strange and monotone tone. "Fragility is unbearable but sometimes pleasant." His face remained expressionless as he tightened the grip around Snake's neck. As the one wearing a bandana struggled to remain conscious, he managed to reach for his knife pulling out of the sheath in a reverse grip then he grabbed his hair with his right and with no hesitation, stabbed his right eye with the knife. WHAT!? Only to get the shocking sight of the knife completely inside his eye socket with him barely reacting to it. "I possess no such fragility, bearable but unpleasant." He spoke as the yellow blood came out of the spot where the knife was. It is his blood... Snake realized as he felt his consciousness slipping through.
Until...
White Fox sat up on the floor with his head bleeding from the strike he received. Only to notice what was happening, with Dark Snake getting strangled by the Mysterious Stranger. His first action was to stand up and immediately draw his High-Frequency blade from his back, which was modeled after a Japanese Ninjato. Wasting no time, he approached the Mysterious Stranger and stabbed him from behind with his blade with the blade almost reaching Snake. But it had no effect whatsoever on him, not even a flinch. "What the fuc-" Before Fox could finish what he was about to say, the Mysterious Stranger simply turned around and tossed Snake into Fox with a surprising strength despite the close distance between the two, causing them to slide on the floor away from the Mysterious Stranger towards the Cyborg body that belonged to Raiden. "Dammit, you bas-" Whte Fox was about to yell in rage, until he noticed what was right next to him. "F-farther!?" It was his immediate response upon seeing the headless Cyborg Body.
Snake could only watch his friend's agonizing expression upon seeing the headless body that belongs to his father. But he couldn't offer him any comfort, especially since. What the hell is he?! He thought as he watched the Mysterious Stranger staring at the two of them with his expressionless face despite having a knife piecing his eye socket and a sword piercing his back.
"YOU BASTARD ! ! ! !" White Fox yelled in deep rage before he drew his personal sidearms, which were two customized Uzi pistols holstered on each side of his hips. It only took him a second to start to unload both of Uzi pistols into the Mysterious Strange, who just stood there motionless, taking every single bullet without a single reaction while more and more of the yellow blood came out of him.
No effect... Snake thought as he just watched the guy take all of the shots that Fox was firing at him.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Fox yelled in frustration as he completely unloaded his Uzi pistols on him with no effect whatsoever.
...
...
...
"The only me is me and the only he is he," The Mysterious Stranger replied to White Fox as he placed his empty Uzi pistols back in the holsters. "Are you sure the only you is you?" That question was directed towards Dark Snake.
"SPEAK SENSE YOU CRAZY BASTARD!" Fox yelled before he charged towards him.
"Wait!" Snake yelled towards Fox as his friend charges towards the Mysterious Stranger
Fox delivered a jumping right roundhouse kick into his head followed by a left spinning heel kick into his cheek, then another right roundhouse kick to his ribs followed by a left roundhouse kick to his head then a reverse roundhouse kick with the same leg before delivering a back kick with his right leg into his face, right on the nose. Clearly, none of his attacks had any effect on him, though Snake can tell if it's because they're not doing any damage or he just can't feel it. Suddenly, the Mysterious Stranger finally decided to attack and delivered a very telegraphic haymaker which Fox easily dodge and used the opportunity to get behind him in order to pull his sword out of him and he was almost successful if he did grabbed the blade with his left hand while it was half of the way out. Then he reached for Snake's knife which was still on his eye socket.
Dammit! Snake finally stood up from the floor and went to retrieve his handgun before charging towards the Mysterious Stranger before he could use the knife on Fox. He grabbed the wrist of the hand that was holding his knife before he placed the barrel of the handgun on the hand that was holding Fox's blade inside his body and fired multiple times. It had the desired result, which was to loosen his grip and allow Fox to pull his blade out of him and once he did, Snake jumped back so Fox could slash him with the blade.
But...
A loud shot was heard by Snake. "AAAAHHH!" Followed by a scream from Fox.
"Fox!" Snake yelled as he saw Fox getting shot on the arm. Moving his head to the direction where the shot was heard, he noticed someone on a platform. "Sniper!" He warned Fox, who was clutching his arm in pain. Sadly, it was too late, as the Sniper fired another shot at his friend, which landed on the stomach. "FOX!" He yelled as a third shot hit Fox on the chest, causing him to collapse on the floor. But before he could do anything, out of nowhere, something passed through him at an unbelievable speed and he felt the barrel of the rifle pointing at his back. Dammit! Turning around, Snake saw the Sniper, pointing an AS50 Sniper Rifle at him. The Sniper was a woman, wearing very worn-out combat fatigues in a dark green color that seem to be decades old, she was also wearing a helmet that completely covered her head and possessed an augmented scope equipment covering their right eye , making him incapable of seeing who she was. She signaled him to drop his handgun and he did.
"Ahhhhh..." Fox was moaning in pain on the floor because of the shots but Snake can't help him. He could easily use CQC to disarm the Sniper, but he would still have to deal with the Mysterious Stranger.
Before anyone could do anything else, Snake heard a sound coming from outside of the warehouse. Helicopter, by the sound, it's a UH-1H Huey. Snake identified by the sound. As he was distracted with the identification however, the Sniper approached Snake, moving her head dangerously close to his face. Made even more strange by the fact that she started to caress his face like Sunny occasionally does with him. Before he could properly react to that gesture however, the Mysterious Stranger also appeared in front of him. WHAT!? With the eye socket that Snake stabbed completely intact. Did he... Regenerate...?! He thought as he stared at the same emotionless expression and dead-fish eyes, with Snake's knife on his hands. To his shock, he simply placed the knife back on his sheath. "What are your names?" The Mysterious Stranger asked the very still Snake as the woman wearing a helmet kept caressing his face.
...
...
...
"You first." Snake demanded first as he tried to push the Sniper's hands off his face, only for her to place it back. Although he was deeply confused as to why he would care about their names, he needed to acquire some information.
"My name is Guy Savage." The Mysterious Stranger introduced himself to Snake.
...
...
...
"Dark Snake." He introduced himself to him. "And that's White Fox."
What was reminiscent of a smile almost appeared on his face. "Let's repeat this again, it was fun." He told him in a monotone tone before he grabbed the Sniper by the arm and apparently dragged her past him in order to probably make his way outside to catch that helicopter. "Farewell, Snake and Fox."
"S-stop!" Fox, who was bleeding on the floor yelled at him.
"Let him go, Fox." Snake told his friend as they were no match to him, especially with that Sniper aiding him.
Fox was losing control of his breath but he forced himself to ask one last question. "W-w-where... the H-he-head!?" He asked the one called Guy Savage while he was whimpering in pain
Guy stopped for a second and looked back at the two friends.
【Present time:】
"He told us where Raiden's head was and left us there." Pliskin explained. "I called for extraction, recovered the head and dragged John to the chopper."
Currently, Pliskin was sitting down on a nice looking couch drinking a cup filled with a cocoa flavored CalorieMate Can that John's mother was nice enough to buy for him.
Both Sunny and Rosemary were sitting in front of him with shocked expressions on their eyes as Pliskin finally revealed to them what really happened to Raiden and how Little John got injured. Both of them were clearly shocked by everything that Pliskin just told them since neither John nor Pliskin spoke about anything other than a basic explanation of it. The explanation was, both John and Pliskin found Raiden's body and they tried to takedown his killer but were unsuccessful.
Rosemary stood up, visibly disturbed by what Pliskin told her. Clearly upset by what her son went through, alongside the possible thought of what Guy Savage must have done to Raiden.
Sunny, just leaned on the couch, just as upset as Rosemary. Despite being with Pliskin since it happened, he didn't really give her the details until now.
Pliskin could only awkwardly drink his CalorieMate, still feeling a little guilty for telling them. Mostly Rosemary, because John clearly made the decision to not tell her the details of what happened, but he thinks that she deserves to know. The black haired young man leaned back on the couch, looking around and appreciating the decorations of the living room. There were two nice couches with a glass table in between it, with a nice looking blue carpet under it.
An awkward silence ensued as no one seemed to want to say anything. Especially about the subject regarding Guy Savage, the one that killed Raiden. With both of them still absorbing everything that Pliskin just told them.
"Yellow blood..." Sunny finally spoke up after the awkward silence. "Pliskin, did you ever figure out what exactly were the three of you after?" She asked him.
"No, I tried to get information while John was getting medical attention but... I only manage to discover that Raiden was hired to retrieve some-type of container that was apparently inside that warehouse that exploded but that's it." Pliskin explained to Sunny, but he also had a suspicion that not even Raiden really knew what he was trying to retrieve. "Who hired him is still a mystery." It was done in complete anonymity, which Pliskin thought was suspicious.
"Hmmm..." Sunny seemed to be thinking deeply about what Pliskin said.
"My god..." Rosemary spoke in response. "You said that his face remained expressionless through out the whole thing?" She asked him in regards of Guy Savage.
"Yes, not a single expression on his face other than an almost smile when he asked for our names..." Pliskin confirmed. "We stabbed, shot and hit him, but he had no reaction whatsoever to anything."
"You also said that his eye regenerated." Sunny mentioned what he said.
"Yes, I literally shoved a knife into his eye and saw him removing the knife, then I took my eyes off of him for a second and when I looked at him again... There it was, like the knife never touched it." He explained to Sunny.
"Do you think it was because of nanomachines?" Sunny asked.
"Strangely, I don't think so..." Pliskin knew that there was something off about that guy, that yellow blood of his being the main sign.
"And... That Sniper that shot John." This time, Rosemary spoke. "You said that she caressed your face."
The mention of that caused Sunny to give him a strange look, that really made Pliskin uncomfortable. But he responded to Rosemary. "Yes, I don't know why though." The Sniper didn't say a word, but Pliskin could swear that he heard her making a strange noise on her way out of the warehouse. "I just know that, she somehow hid her presence and got the drop on us." Alongside the fact that she got behind Pliskin at an unbelievable speed.
"Well, it coul-" Sunny was about to say something in response to what he said. But it was interrupted by the sound of the door opening.
"Mom, I'm back." It was obviously John coming back from his "walk".
"We're here..." Rosemary spoke in a low voice response.
It only took a few seconds for John to walk to the living room where they were sitting down. He was wearing light blue jeans, white sneakers, a black T-shirt and a white bomber leather jacket. To his surprise, Pliskin saw that John cut his long hair and it was now short and spiky.
"Hey, John..." Sunny greeted him.
"Hey..." John greeted her back but he didn't take his eyes off Pliskin.
...
...
...
...
A very awkward silence took place in the living room as nobody said anything afterwards. Until Pliskin finally stood up from the couch and approached John. Standing in front of his partner, he had no idea of what to say, as his absence during the time in between what happened and now had no excuse. Sunny and Rose only stood there watching the two friends.
...
...
...
...
"I..." Pliskin tried to kill the awkward silence by saying something. "Like your new haircut."
"Thanks." John said, before he extended his left hand and messed Pliskin's hair.
"Much better." Sunny commented, as Pliskin's messy hair is his signature look.
Once he finished messing his hair up, John lifted his hand up. It took less than a second for Pliskin to understand what the gesture meant. Also lifting his hand, both Pliskin Doe and John Sears did their secret handshake in front of Sunny Emmerich and Rosemary Sears. Once it was done, they both embraced each other tightly causing the girls to smile at the sight.
"I'm so sorry." Pliskin spoke in his friend's ear.
"Just shut up." John replied in response.
Pliskin and Sunny decided to stay for dinner, despite being a relatively bad idea due to Rosemary's legendary bad cooking. But with Sunny actually helping in the kitchen, it will hopefully come out edible.
As they waited, Pliskin and John actually sat outside in the backyard and talked. Their backyard was empty but had really nice grass.
"Guy Savage..." John spoke with a lot of bitterness in his voice. "I would have chopped that bastard into pieces if it wasn't for that Sniper." He claimed confidently as he ate a large bag of Tortilla Chips.
"I actually agree with you," Pliskin spoke as he ate from the same bag as John. "I'm pretty sure she noticed that it was a High-Frequency blade." I'm also pretty sure that she was there all of the time and only shot you when she saw that you were about to chop that guy into pieces.
"His fighting skills were pretty mediocre and it was too easy to hit him." John commented. It was true, all of their attacks landed easily on him. "But he was way stronger and faster, alongside his unbelievable ability to absorb damage."
Pliskin placed a chip inside his mouth and chewed before he swallowed. "I was trying to find some information about him, but I couldn't find anything about Guy Savage."
John looked at him as he swallowed a chip. "Fake name?" He asked.
"Apparently." Pliskin eats another chip.
"Shit." John cursed as he finished his bag of chips. He rolled the bag and tossed on the ground.
"Is your mother moving?" He asked, mostly because of the boxes in the house.
"I don't know the details, but my mother is going to do some "voluntary" work in Washington." John explained. "She... Needs the distraction."
"Yeah..." Pliskin himself was doing everything in his power to not think about it, as the image of Raiden's severe head keeps appearing in his nightmares.
Taking a deep breath, John stood up from his chair. "I have something for you, wait here." He revealed it to Pliskin as he entered the house once again.
The one with messy black hair just sat there, waiting for his friend to return. What could possibly be? Pliskin thought as he leaned back on his chair. Observing the sky, it was pretty obvious that a storm was coming.
It didn't take long for John to return. "Taa Daa!" With a blade on his hand.
"Is that..." Pliskin recognized the sword.
"The blade that used to belong to the fabled Cyborg Samurai, Samuel Rodriguez, who my father defeated." John immediately responded to him. The blade was called Murasama, a crimson colored blade that was already exceptional even before its high-frequency conversion, which made the sword extremely powerful. The Murasama's original sheath contained a rifle mechanism with a magazine loaded and a trigger located below the sword's hilt. Sadly, it was destroyed and now it only had a synthetic sheath.
"John, I c-" He tried to deny it, but.
"You can and you are, I already have a sword and we both know that between the two of us, you're the one that can use it better." Both John and Pliskin could use a sword, and frankly, John was the better of the two. John had an unorthodox style that he learned from watching movies and from seeing his father using a sword. Pliskin's style was perfectly orthodox with a base on actual Kenjutsu. "Besides, dad would like you to have it and so do I."
Pliskin considered denying it, but he knew that John would insist until he accepted. Besides, the Murasama always fascinated him and it would be a waste if it just went unused. "Fine..." Pliskin picked the blade up and unsheathed it. Amazing! It was his opinion as he inspected the wonderful looking crimson colored Katana.
"Great, now we can officially be the Dark Samurai and the White Ninja." John spoke the nicknames that they gave each other when they were kids.
"We are not calling ourselves that John." Pliskin immediately shut down the idea as he sheathed the blade once again.
John's response was to immediately fold his arms in annoyance, clearly disappointed because he really wanted that to be their nicknames.
"Hey!" Suddenly , they heard Sunny calling them. "Dinner is ready," She informed the two of them. " I hope you like Curry." She was talking to John. "Is that Murasama?!" The young woman with Platinum blond hair immediately approached the young man with black hair in order to see the blade.
Thanks for reading my story.
Questions and Answers:
Interesting start.
The question is when and how Dark Snake was made and cloned?
My guess is the Patriots got a hold of Solid Snake's DNA prior to Shadow Moses before Dr. Naomi Hunter injected the first strain of FOXDIE in him, so that way, Dark Snake would not have FOXDIE in him. Since Clone technology would be more developed than the time Solid and Liquid Snake were created, Dark Snake didn't have the advanced aging Solid Snake had.
I'm glad you liked.
Your guess is partially correct. They got a hold of Solid Snake's DNA somewhere in between Zanzibar Land and Shadow Moses. Although, the purpose behind it is still unknown to everyone though there are some theories, Dark Snake believes that he was created simply to serve as a prototype for something else but he suspects that the name Dark was put on him mainly because he was supposed to have a dark purpose as opposed to all the others. You're right, you see, Solid and Liquid both had something called the Terminator Genes which made them incapable of being cloned and they were made the accelerated age was a fail safe in case of them turning against their creators. But both were able to be countered due to Clone Technology being much more advanced by the time it was created. Dark Snake also possesses enhanced natural abilities and durability that surpasses all the other Snakes (Which is why Dark Snake believes that they were trying to create an even more powerful clone.)
(As for his birth, I'm gonna give you a clue: Dark Snake is a year younger than Sunny Emmerich but a year older than Little John.)
Neat start even with the whole going to funeral
So given that Sunny and little John seems to be grown up this is taking place post well every metal gear game
Meaning slim chances for the Beauty and Beast unit, Mistral and Quite to be in a harem pairing haha
Oh and the fact Raiden is dead and all haha
Could be a alternate timeline though and those girls are all still about haha
I'll also say it now hope Pliskin gets he Murasama blade
Raiden's death is the prime drive for the duo's actions in the game.
The story takes place over a decade after Metal Gear Rising.
Quiet is still a possibility to be in the story since her fate is left ambiguous, but only if I find the right way to incorporate her (I have a small idea, but I don't know if it's good and no, the sniper that shot John isn't Quiet.). Sadly, the B&B Corps were killed by Solid Snake and Mistral by Raiden, so...
Which is really bad since he was practically Pliskin's mentor and Little John will want revenge.
Not really ,sorry.
Pliskin is more of a Gunslinger but he can use a sword, he might require a blade to deal with certain types of foes. (Like Cyborgs who are immune to bullets.)
