"Hey…Ijin?"

He looked up from his noodles, tilting his head to the side as he waited for Jaehyung to ask his question.

"Do you know what the maze game is?"

Maze game?

He rummaged through his memories, his eyes looking side to side as he tried to remember.

Maze game.

That inferred that he needed a console or a computer to play it. He definitely did not have either one of those as a child. And if he did, he lost his memory of it. He also didn't have any recent memories of playing such a game.

He shook his head, slurping up the rest of the noodles as he did so.

A devious smile came over Jaehyungs face.

Hm.

He did not have a good feeling about this.

He looked at the others.

Hyeokjin also had a devious smile.

Also not good.

Seokju and Yeona were hiding their smiles behind a hand and a noodle cup.

Slightly better.

Even Yeongchan looked amused.

Ok.

Maybe it wasn't that bad if Yeongchan was smiling.

Yeongchan was tame compared to everyone else, and he knew that his friend was the kind to avoid stuff that either scared him or upset him.

So it couldn't be that bad.

Thirty minutes later, they were in the middle of their usual PC café.

"Alright," Ijin was slightly hunched over as Hyeokjin leaned over him to get to the computer mouse," You're the little black dot. You use the arrow keys to move." He nodded along with his friend's words, throwing a confused glance towards Seokju's way when he heard a muffled snicker.

Seokju, Yeona, and Yeongchan waved him off and motioned for him to pay attention to the computer.

Hm.

Even if Yeongchan was advocating for the game.

He was starting to get a little bit suspicious.

A hand nudging his shoulder brought his attention back to Hyeokjin. He listened to his friend as he showed him how to play the Maze Game.

It seemed relatively simple.

All he had to do was get his character, the little black dot, to the red square and that would take him to the next level.

It was a little bit weird with the way his friends were staring at him. He could feel the back of his neck prickling with their stares, but he continued nonetheless.

The controls were a little bit rougher than what he was used to, but according to everyone else, it was to be expected as it was an older game.

The first level was easy, he was able to do it in less than 30 seconds.

The second level was a little bit harder, the path he had to take was more narrow and it was much longer with the way it twisted and turned. But it was still wasn't too bad.

He frowned when he got to the third level.

The path was reasonable until it got to the very end, where the path was less than 20 pixels wide. If the controls were smooth, it wouldn't have been a problem, but they were just as smooth as a cat's tongue.

He leaned forward, chewing on the inside of his bottom lip as he tried to navigate the dot to the fourth level.

He tapped the arrow keys ever so gently, feeling more and more relieved the closer he got to the red square. He leaned in even closer, trying his best to make sure that he wouldn't lose before he got to the fourth level because he did not want a repeat of this level.

He tapped the up button one more time, and was fina-

" asdfljs fuck!" the curse tumbled out of his mouth just as fast as he tumbled out of the chair.

He had gotten startled so badly, he ended up smacking his knee against the bottom of the desk before he fell out of the chair.

He also knocked down the chair in the process.

All of the traitors roared with laughter, the only ones that were laughing in a dignified manner were Yeona and Seokju. Even then, Ijin was sure that they had turned around because they had to put in some effort to keep themselves together. He looked up at them from his position on the floor.

He scowled.

That only made them laugh even harder.

There was no way in hell he was going to let them get away with this.

Years of living with 006 and 032 had taught him a few things.

One, that revenge was sweet (Sometimes)

And that two.

Pranks always had to be returned.
