R&R longer note at the end

The long week in detention had passed as both Yumi and Homura stood at opposite ends of the outdoor battle arena in Gessen academy, their teacher Ikaruga had heard of the two girl's challenge and despite reservations had agreed to allow it, both girls had agreed to a set of rules set out beforehand. No killing, a five-minute time limit, should Homura lose or fail to make Yumi give up in five minutes she would accept her place as a member of the Gessen Elite class. Should Yumi lose or fail to make Homura give up in the five-minute time limit then she would give up trying to convince her to join.

A large crowd had gathered including the current members of the Elite class to observe the match, the school knew of Yumi's skills and strength leaving some to believe this match one sided however those who had witnessed Homura's skills and strength first hand remained unconvinced on who the victor would be.

"You both know the rules" Ikaruga said from the middle of the field as both girls nodded "Very well, you may begin when the buzzer sounds the match will end on the second buzzer". Ikaruga walked to the side lines as both girls removed their weapons of choice, Homura smirked as she removed two of her katana seeing the grey haired girl flick out her two fans.

The sound of a buzzer echoed through the grounds as Homura pushed off with her back foot charging right for the pale girl in front of her, this will be over before that timer runs out she thought as she closed the distance slashing down with her dual katana's. Her opponent smiled as she blocked the attack with her fans throwing the girl back as she sent shards of ice at her which Homura cut down with ease, it was Yumi's turn to charge as she shot forward closing her fans using them like daggers as she clashed with the black haired girl's weapons, this was more interesting than Homura had anticipated.

The two girl's jumped back both smirking as their feet hit the floor they charged once again colliding in the middle neither one giving up ground as they swiped at each other, fire coming from Homura's strikes as ice glistened from Yumi's the on looking crowd were stunned as neither girl seemed to be giving up ground to the other, their movements quickened with every skirmish as they jumped back once again.

"Well that should do for a warm up" Homura said with a sadistic grin "Time to end this. Shinobi transformation". The familiar white light engulfed the girl as once again her grey uniform was replaced with black, she drew the remaining four katana's as she waited to see what her opponent would do next.

"I quite agree" Yumi said as she held her fans at her sides "Shinobi transformation". Her grey uniform disappeared as a white furisode kimono appeared hanging down from her slender shoulders, it hugged her large bust as it fell gracefully down her body, her brown school shoes had been replaced with white socks and purple flip flops.

Homura couldn't deny how beautiful this girl was but that didn't matter right now this was a fight and this girl was her opponent, she smirked as she readied herself for a more serious fight, the pair stared into each other's eyes as if sizing one another up looking for an opening.

"Secret ninja art: Black ice" Yumi called out as Homura looked on stunned by the sudden use of her arts, this lasted a moment as she looked up seeing icicles begin to form above her, this looks bad the girl thought as she readied herself she watched on as the smaller icicles merged into one as Yumi brought her fan down the larger icicle shot towards Homura at great speed.

"Secret ninja art: Charge" Homura called out as she drew her six blades across her body running full speed at the icicle smirking as she began to slash furiously slicing the other girl's attack into nothing, Yumi looked on in shock as she quickly dodged the oncoming girl, she looked as a sleeve of her kimono got caught three slices appeared.

"Since you're this close I might as well use that" Yumi said as Homura turned to face her "Secret ninja art: ice pillar fan". Homura watched as she tried to dodge seeing the girl begin to spin on the spot her fans outstretched a whirlwind of icicles began to form as they tore at the other girl's clothes and bare skin she cried out in pain as she forced herself back.

"Fine. You want to play, let's play" Homura called out as the girl stopped spinning "Secret ninja art: Resonate". Yumi watched as the black haired girl smiled her clothes torn with cuts on her legs, she walked forwards slashing as she went, unable to dodge the grey haired girl cried out in pain as the attacks struck her clothing and bare skin, the kimono began to tear as Homura hit a slashing upper cut dragging her six blades down.

The sound of the buzzer echoed once again indicating the match was over, Homura smirked triumphantly as she looked to the teacher to declare her the winner, she was shocked to see her pointing to the big screen with the timer on. Anger over took her as she saw the clock flashing zero, she looked to the grey haired girl who had a smile on her face as she finally fell to the floor as the rest of the Elite class rushed over to check on her with the medical team.

"Time is up, a decision could not be reached in the time limit" Ikaruga said as Homura's eyes flew back in her direction "By the rules agreed before the match, since a winner could not be decided, I declare this match a draw and I now name Homura the newest member of Gessen's Elite class". The black haired girl felt the strength in her hands leave as her blades had fell to the floor, this was a dream right she thought as realisation set in.

She looked at the group surrounding the grey haired girl her jaw clenched a little in anger, she had under estimated this girl and now she would have to join this weak friendship circle. How could she have fallen so far? She thought back to her old school, she had been the top of the top there, now she was to play second fiddle to this girl on a technicality.

She dropped to her knee's as she waved away the helping hands of the medical team, this was her punishment, she considered running away but what good would that do. She had to face reality, this was her life now but one thing was for sure, if she was to be forced into this weak little group then she would see to it that they at least got a little stronger.

The girl looked on from her vantage point overlooking the shinobi school, her fingers tightened on the binoculars she was holding in anger seeing the black haired girl seemingly enjoying herself, she pulled her gaze away as she lowered the binoculars heading back down.

"How does it look?" One of the girls with her asked as she returned.

"Too easy but that's not the issue" she replied as her eyes fell on her long-time friend "She is there". The girl looked at her friend in disbelief, that girl who left them all had run off to a new school leaving them behind again, the girl walked off as anger took hold of her when next they meet she would make her pay.

When it comes to Yumi and Homura you know the fight would be intense, of course all that time in Hebijo made Homura strong and lack the ability to value her own life so she just takes too many risks but a twist of fate has ended her career as the solo girl of Gessen now she must honour her word and join the Gessen elite.

Now there is also this mysterious group who are very interested in Gessen but I wonder who this mysterious "she" will be? Well the answer will appear but just not today
