The APC was cramped, but could hold a lot of people, even a gurney, if pressed. There was a door that led to the cab where Agent Aries sat in the passenger seat, listening to a radio. Gunhead was in a turret peeking out of the top of the vehicle, and in the driver's side was no one; the pedals pushed themselves as well as the steering wheel. "Mordy's going to flip when he finds out we took a ride with Commander Steel!" Dokusei had to lean in a bit because of the loud engine.

"Yeah! He's totally missing out!" Ochako smiled under her helmet, hanging on to her seat as it hit a pothole.

Gunhead took a few steps down from the turret and went to the two students. "We'll patrol this side of the city for a while, keeping an ear on police charter while me and Commander Steel will keep our eyes on a swivel, looking out for anything out of the ordinary."

Dokusei nodded along. "Is there anything we can do?" They were eager to learn, that was clear.

Gunhead tapped his mask. "Well there's room for one of you to sit up in the turret with me, and the other could sit in the cab with Agent Aries."

"I call turret!" Ochako raised her hand faster than both of them have ever seen.

Dokusei chuckled and went up to the cab. "Mind if I take a seat?" Agent Aries waved to the driver's seat.

"Just don't touch the pedals or steering wheel." Commander Steel's voice came from the speakers nearby.

"Thanks" was all he said as he sat down. After a few minutes of just looking out a small window, Dokusei looked to Agent Aries. "So... is there anything I need to keep an eye out for?"

"Anything that looks suspicious," she started without looking up. "I know it's hard to see out of those windows, but try to see anybody acting unusual, or even in distress." She looked up to him. "We're here not only to stop villains, but also help people in need."

"Right." He went back to looking out the window.

Ochako had a much better view up in the turret than Dokusei did in the cab. She saw a bunch of kids looking at the vehicle in awe. Gunhead waved at them as they passed. "So how does your agency make money...?" She had a small blush growing, trying not to look at him.

"When we're out on patrol, we clamp down on crime," Gunhead stated, taking her question in stride. "But when the police requests us for a case, they come in bundles, zone by zone." Ochako looked back at him as he continued. "They declare our merit in cooperating on arrests, rescuing the innocent; you know, that sort of stuff. Then we go through inspections by specialized agencies, and get our salaries in the back." He raised his hands in a shrug. "Basically we work on commission."

"I see." She kept looking out of the turret, making it seem like she was focused on finding villains.

Gunhead could see something else was on her mind, and it wasn't villains or money. "You and Phantom seem to be pretty close." This got her to look at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Yeah... I guess we are..." She didn't need to see it to know she was blushing again.

"He has a cute little pet name for you."

"D-Dokusei gives everyone nicknames." She turned to him slightly. "I wouldn't b-be surprised if he had some for you..."

"And on a first name basis too." He leaned back a bit. "If it was anyone else, they'd be saying you two are something."

"I-I-It's not like that! I swear!" She looked at him, showing her full blushing face under the helmet. "We're just friends!"

"So if it's not him, who's the boy you're thinking about?"

"I'm worried about one of my friends!" She didn't mean to shout but she just wanted him to stop.

One of the turret's hatches swung down and bonked Gunhead. "Ow! Alright I'll lay off!" He pushed the hatch back up. "What's wrong with your friend?"

She let out a sigh, and tried to calm down her blush. "His brother was attacked by the Hero Killer last week, and Dokusei thinks he's going to go after him, but he could be wrong..." She gripped the edge of the hole.

"Hmmmm..." Gunhead nodded. "I see why this would get you so worried, but we're too far away to really do anything right now." He patted her shoulder. "You can only hope he does the right thing and gets back safely."

She let out another sigh. "Dokusei pretty much said the same thing." She looked back out to the passing crowds. It was a quiet few minutes before she saw something that caught her eye, a gent in an alleyway. "Gunhead, I think I see something!"

Gunhead looked towards the alleyway she was pointing at. He let out a gasp and he brought Ochako under the turret's opening. "BRACE!" was the only warning he gave out before an explosion erupted from the alleyway and rammed into the side of the APC.

People screamed as they ran away from the attack; more explosions went off. As the dust settled, gunshots soon followed afterwards. Gunhead looked down at Ochako; she was ok, but dazed. "Commander! Status!" he yelled out.

"No exterior damage, but a good portion of a building fell on top of us."

"Alright!" He got up and lifted Ochako to her feet. "Agent, Phantom, you two alright up there!"

Dokusei pushed open the door. "I've had worse..." He had Agent Aries over his shoulder. "Aries is out cold though, no other external injuries however." She had a bruise on her head, but no blood was showing anywhere else.

"Damn..." Gunhead went to the ramp and pushed it open, only to stop about a quarter of the way open. "Great..." He looked back at the turret hole, seeing a giant rock stuck in it. "I thought you said we were partially buried!"

"Yeah, on the passenger's side; driver's side is all clear, but my tires are stuck."

"Can't you change forms?" Ochako asked as another explosion shook the ground.

"Not with everyone inside me." Gunfire soon followed.

Dokusei put Agent Aries down gently. "Doesn't the cab have doors?"

"Yes, but I can't get it open for some reason; it might be stuck."

Dokusei went back to the cab and saw the door trying to open. The gap was too small for Gunhead, but might be big enough for Ochako and himself. "Uravity! I got a plan; get in here!" She popped her head in and saw the door. "If we can get you out, you might be able to remove the rubble blocking the door."

"Right!" She went up to the door; it was a very tight squeeze. "Might... need some help..." Dokusei's boots planted next to her on the door as he grabbed the assist handle and the chair. He pushed the door with all of his might, widening the gap enough for her to get by. "I'm through!"

Ochako saw that all of the APC was buried, but the driver's side door– even then, there was a big enough boulder of concrete blocking the door. She made the boulder weightless and pushed it out of the way, and any more rubble blocking Commander Steel to drive out. She opened the door all the way. "Alright! Let's get to rescuing!"

Dokusei was the first out and put his arms out to carry a still unconscious Agent Aries, then Gunhead hoped out. "You're good to go, Commander!"

"Finally! Attack the enemy! Tiger 1!" The APC glowed and changed into an old fashioned WWII German Tiger tank. He drove out of the rubble as the others got out.

Gunhead pointed to paramedics not far off. "Take her to them, and go and look for any civilians that need help and escort them. If there's any under the rubble, flag down a pro. Me and Commander Steel will go after the villain."

Speaking of the villain, the explosions rocked the area about five blocks down along with its complementary gunfire. "That villain is going on a warpath!" Commander Steel aimed his gun at the commotion. "Can't get a good look at them, but whatever they are, I hope they're ready to face this tank's shells!" He began to drive around the rubble, hoping no one was underneath.

Gunhead looked back to the two students and handed them each a communication earpiece. "Go, the more you just stand around, the more people will get hurt!" With that the two went to the paramedics. "Contact us if you're in trouble!" With that he ran to catch up to Commander Steel.

Dokusei gave Agent Aries to the medics and went to find people in need. "Come on, Uravity, let's get moving." He put the earpiece into his ear.

"R-Right." She followed behind him.

With the two of them, they found a good amount of people and brought them out of the hot zone. Before Dokusei continued to go back in, he saw Ochako looking out of it. "Care Bear, you ok?"

She quickly looked at him, a little shocked. "Y-Yeah... why do you ask?"

"Because you look worried about something."

She was silent for quite a bit. "I think I saw the villain before the expansion."

"Ok?" He was not getting where this was going.

"They looked like a girl around our age... and she looked scared..."

"Quirk malfunction?"

"I don't know..." She fiddled with her wrist guards. "I've never seen someone so terrified..."

Dokusei grabbed her hands. "We may not be able to help her physically, but we might be able to help in another way."

She looked at him with a tilt of her head, then suddenly face palmed her helmet. "Wow, I'm really out of it..."

He chuckled and patted her shoulder. "Happens to the best of us." He then put a finger to his ear. "Gunhead, you there!?"

"Yes, Toxic Phantom, you two ok?" Gunhead replied quickly.

"Yes, we are," he answered just as fast. "Is the villain a young girl around our age?"

"Yes, she is."

"Uravity thinks the girl is not doing this under her own will, or at least is having a quirk malfunction episode."

"Yes, we thought the same." He let out a grunt as he dodged gunfire. "She's screaming and clearly scared about something, but we can't get close to her and she's taking Commander Steel's shots like they're BBs."

Ochako could see the lightbulb illuminate in Dokusei's head. "How about a sleeping agent?"

There was a quick pause; most likely he was thinking about the pros and cons. "How are you going to deliver that; her skin is harder than steel?"

"I can create a toxin that when it's exposed to the air, it turns into a gas. I can combine a sleeping agent with it and knock her out in seconds."

"Ok, that doesn't really answer how you're going to get it to her. No way in hell I'm letting you get close."

"I can fire gas canister shells," Commander Steel commented as he sent another shell down range. "Send him to me, I'll protect him."

"Sir, I think this is the only way we can help her." Dokusei put as much sincerity into his words as he could.

"Fine... but once you're here, you never leave Steel's side."

"Yes sir!"

Gunhead peeked out of his cover. Seeing a young foreign girl, with dirty and matted red hair, blue eyes with her pupils dilated, her clothes were ragged and torn to shreds, and her pale skin was covered in black armor like second skin with a demonic wing ripping out of her shoulder and a spade tail slashing large cuts into the concrete.

She had a normal looking hand tugging at her neck, and half her face was covered in her black armor giving her a horn. Gunhead could tell she was crying but every time he tried to approach, she would summon a shotgun, and that armor was strong.

"I hope Phantom gets here soon; she's tearing this city apart," Commander Steel said, keeping his gun on her.

"Me too..." Gunhead ducked under as she sent gunfire from a high powered pistol. "Can you see why she's tugging at her neck?"

"Seems to be a collar of some kind." He aimed a machine gun on top of him and fired at her to keep her attention on him. "Might be a controlling device or something; she clearly wants it off but can't for some reason."

Dokusei ran down the streets with Ochako not too far behind. "You don't have to come with me, you know!" He hopped over a slab of concrete and climbed up a pile of rubble in seconds.

"We got all the civilians we could get to. I don't want to be on my butt if there's something I can do!" She was slower than Dokusei, but she could keep up with him.

They eventually saw Commander Steel's tank, keeping the girl distracted, and continuing her rampage. "We're here!" Dokusei yelled as he slid beside the tank.

"Gunhead, buy us time!" A hatch opened up on top of the main gun. "This might take a moment!"

"I'll give you as much time as you need!" He hopped out from his cover and bolted toward the girl.

With the girl distracted, Dokusei and Ochako climbed into the tank. To say it was claustrophobic was an understatement.

"All right," Commander Steel said as the main gun's receiver pulled back showing an empty gas canister. "I'll be able to shoot this down at her and when it ruptures it will quickly turn into a gas, correct?"

"That's the idea..." Dokusei took a deep breath.

"You've never done this before, have you?"

"Nope..." Dokusei grabbed the canister. "You got a fire extinguisher?"

"Next to your foot, Uravity." Commander Steel pointed it out.

"Ok." She grabbed it.

Dokusei opened the canister. "I need you to blast it with the extinguisher as I pour the toxin in." He put his hand in. "If the toxin reacts to the oxygen in the air as I pour it, we'll be knocked out before we can have a chance to do anything." His hand was shaking. "Might even affect you, big guy..."

"Dokusei..." Ochako started. "... are you ok?"

Dokusei took another deep breath. "I've never used anything like this before..." He shook more. "If... if I'm wrong in any of my calculations, she might never wake up, and it could affect even more people..." His breath became more unsteady. "and-"

"The girl and us are the only people in the vicinity," Commander Steel spoke up. "Besides, she's tearing herself up." He was seeing the fight between Gunhead and the girl; she was holding her own against him. But every time she attacked blood came out of her joints and mouth, like her body wasn't able to handle the amount of power she was giving out. "She's most likely going to die if we don't do something." The engine roared to life. "If I was in her shoes, I would prefer a painless death over a painful one."

Dokusei's shaking lessened but was still there. "You can do it, Toxic Phantom!" Ochako grabbed his hand. "You told Midnight that you have more tricks up your sleeve! Well? Now's the time to show us that!"

Dokusei felt the smirk grow under his mask. "Right!" He fixed his hand placement in the canister. "Blast me every two seconds for about half a second."

With that, the blast of the extinguisher was the only thing that was heard for about a minute. The fight outside was growing worse by the second as Commander Steel kept his gun on the girl. Gunhead managed to get the upper hand in the fight since the girl was tiring out. Gunhead was about to get her into a hold when she suddenly let out a blood curdling scream.

The collar around her neck beeped and injected something into her, making her quirk go even more haywire. A second wing burst out of her shoulder and knocked Gunhead off of her. Black and red smoke like energy flowed out of her mouth and her hair turned pure white as her eyes glowed a demonic red.

"Phantom!" Gunhead yelled into his ear piece. "Now would be a good time to get that delivery!"

"Hold her down for one second, before she can move!" Commander Steel shouted back.

Gunhead grunted and charged at her. He full on tackled her, lifting her up and had her in a full nelson. He yelled in pain as she was scorching hot to the touch, but he held on. "I won't be able to hold on for long!" he yelled as she began to shake him off.

Dokusei got the seal onto the canister shell and loaded it into the receiver. "You're hot!" He shouted as he slammed it forward.

"Special delivery!" Commander Steel roared as he fired at his target. Gunhead saw the round heading his way, and jumped away as he let go.

The girl saw the shell heading towards her as she attempted to block it with her wings, but she was too slow and the shell opened up just past her wings. The canister underneath broke up and the liquid toxin quickly turned into a gas and covered the area in a white smoke.

"Direct hit!" Gunhead spoke over the comms.

"Is she down...?" Ochako looked through the optics.

Dokusei was on his knees praying to any god that would listen.

The smoke eventually cleared and showed an unconscious teenage girl with no black skin on her, but she did have a lot of blood all over her. Her chest was clearly rising and falling. "I-I think she's breathing!" Ochako rapidly tapped Dokusei's shoulder, who just fell flat on to his ass.

"Alright, you two, you need to get out so I can transport our little rampager to the hospital." Commander Steel opened up a hatch, and the two got out and went to Gunhead.

Dokusei saw that Gunhead was flat on his back. "You ok, man?" He put a hand out for him, which he gladly accepted.

"Yeah, just might have mild burns." His whole torso was red and his arms had small blisters bubbling up.

"Let's get you to a hospital just in case," Ochako added.

With the help of Commander Steel, they all managed to get to a hospital. Gunhead had minor burns, Agent Aries had a concussion; only Commander Steel, Dokusei, and Ochako were unharmed, though Steel was low on iron.

The girl was unconscious the entire way, and was still when they were discharged. Due to the extent of her injuries and what happened, she was in the ICU.

Dokusei wanted to see if she was ok; his grip on his bicep was strong enough to leave a bruise when he was told no.

It was about an hour past sundown, just as they were getting ready to leave, when a young US marine showed up demanding to see his sister. "I am Lieutenant Adam Naamah. I was told you found my sister, where is she!?"

Gunhead went to talk the young man down when both Dokusei and Ochako got a text.

Dokusei checked it and saw it was Midoriya's location. "Did you just get a text from Mordy?"

"Yeah... it's weird... it's in..." She stopped as she read more. "Hosu City..."

Dokusei got a news notification. "The League of Villains attacked Hosu City!" Another headline read: "Sights of The Hero Killer have been spotted in Hosu!"

"Damnit, Iida…"
