Test day came and the written part took almost an hour. Dokusei was one of the last few to finish with a couple minutes to spare. When time was up everyone took a sigh of relief since the first half was over. They all got their costumes and were ready to meet their teacher outside.

"Right, the practical exam will begin momentarily," Aizawa said as he stood with multiple teachers. This gave everyone pause. Dokusei was doing some light stretching as Aizawa continued. "Obviously you can fail this test too, so if you want to go to the forest lodge, then we'd better not see any pitiful blunders from you."

"Why are there so many teachers?" Jiro asked.

"I've no doubt you all learned what information you could get for the test beforehand," Aizawa began to answer and stepped forward a bit. "So I think you already have a vague notion of what you are to do..."

Kaminari and Mina began to dance a bit, saying something about robots and that that pass was as good as theirs. "Sorry, I'm afraid not!" Principal Nezu popped out of Aizawa's scarf! "Due to various reasons we're changing the contents of the test, starting today!"

"What does he mean...?" Dokusei felt the sweat fall underneath his mask.

"Due to the recent activities of villains, we deemed that robots don't reflect the real world." Nezu climbed down, and stood in front of the teachers. "From now on we'll focus our test more on person-on-person battle activities, and emphasize a teaching environment close to that of a real battle!" Dokusei was beginning to think his principal had a few screws loose. "With that, boys and girls, all there is to say is that henceforth, we will have you form pairs to engage in combat with one of your teachers!"

"Is it wrong to say I'd rather face bots...?" Dokusei asked rhetorically.

"Now, who you are facing and who you are paired with has already been decided." Aizawa tugged at his scarf. "The way you tend to move, your grades, and your degree of familiarity, we've personally judged how you will be paired up based on all sorts of things, and we'll list the mashups now." He began to grow that stupid smile. "First off, Todoroki with Yaoyorozu as a team. Against me."

"Ok... Who am I with and against...?" Dokusei rolled his shoulders.

"And Midoriya your with Bakugo as a team." Now that's just being cruel. "And you'll be fighting-"

A very tall figure cast a shadow over them. "I AM HERE!"

"-All Might." Yep Aizawa had it out for those two.

Dokusei patted Midoriya's shoulder. "Good luck, Mordy..." Midoriya didn't even register him. "...You'll need it..."

"Don't think you're out of the woods yet, Sumiteru." Aizawa looked directly at him. "You'll be with Mineta against Midnight."

"Fuck..." The two students looked at each other. Mineta's face was draining to white faster than a black sheet washed in bleach.

"The ten teams will be starting in their respective stages simultaneously," Aizawa continued. "The general outline of the test will be explained by your teacher you'll be battling. You're to be transported by the campus buses. Time is precious so get on them promptly."

"Come on, boys, play time will start soon!" Midnight called to her students. Dokusei and Mineta followed after her. They arrived to the mountainous area. Midnight stood in front of the gate twirling a pair of hexagonal handcuffs. "Alright boys, here's how we're going to play. You have thirty minutes to either capture me or get to the exit." She gave them a seductive smile. "And I hope you do run, makes it more fun for me!~" She gave them a wink as she licked her upper lip.

Dokusei rubbed the back of his neck; of all teachers it had to be the cougar…

Mineta was drooling at the sight of her.

"Now, it would be unfair for our fun to be spoiled if you were unable to play as well, that's why I'll, unfortunately, have to gain some weight with these super compressor weights." She showed them a weighted arm band. "It will equal up to half my normal body weight. So if you boys have the stamina to outlast me, you could capture me easily, but you'll be cutting it close for time to run out."

She gave them each a pair of handcuffs, and let them into the area. Dokusei looked around as they made it to the middle of the arena or so. "Mineta," he started, "tell me why do you want to become a hero?"

"To be cool!" he said without a hesitation. "All the ladies will come crawling to me when they find out how cool I am!"

Dokusei scoffed at that. "They'll ditch you the moment they realize just how much of a douche you are to women."

"Hey, I respect women!" He waved his tiny arms around.

Dokusei just stopped and looked at him, his blue lenses reflecting light. "The first week after work studies says otherwise." And then he continued forward.

They walked in silence for the rest of the way there.

"S-Sumiteru," Mineta spoke up once they reached their destination, "You got any plans on how we can win?"

Dokusei was actually surprised that he was taking this somewhat seriously. "If we fight her, you'll be ko'd. But my mask should be able to protect me from her quirk." He put his hand to his chin. "Ok, I think I got one."

"I take it everyone is at their start mark?" Recovery Girl's voice called out through the PA system. "In that case, now's the time, freshmen of UA!"

Dokusei and Mineta got into a ready stance. "Remember the plan." Mineta nodded.

"Let the midterm exam begin!"

The moment Recovery Girl finished, Mineta booked it, screaming and crying. Dokusei felt his eye twitch. "Way to leave me here!" he yelled at him and tried to go after him.

He was stopped as a bull whip lashed out in front of him. He jumped back before it could hit him. "Oh don't worry about him." Midnight was already at his location faster than Dokusei would have liked. "Let's see if you're willing to play or not?" She readied her whip above her, and swung at him.

Dokusei easily dodged the attack and closed the distance between them. The shock in her eyes was clear as he readied his claws, aiming for her abdomen. That shock quickly turned into a smirk as she simply twisted around his strike and was behind him, reaching for his mask.

She got an elbow to her gut and then a sidekick, pushing her back. "My, aren't you rough; you like this with every girl you meet?"

"Just the ones that can't take no for an answer."

She pouted at that. "Hey... I always ask for consent!"

"Riiiight..." The beak of his mask slightly opened up. "Poison shot!!" He spat a poisonous glob at her.

She moved her head just out of the way. "Now that just unsanitary!" She launched her whip at him.

He dodged and shot another glob. "Really? You have this whole dominatrix thing going on and spitting is where you draw the line!?"

She sidestepped away and shot her whip again. "It is when it's a hazard to my health!"

He suddenly stopped, making the whip miss him. "You have a point." He ducked under another whip lash, shooting more globs in retaliation.

"Come on, you're boring me h-HERE!" She just missed a knife to her head, cutting some of her hair. "Why are you going for my head with that? That could've seriously hurt me!"

He readied more knives, letting one of his claws drip his toxin into a grove of one knife, spreading it across the blade. "For this!" He threw one knife she would be forced to dodge and then threw the poisoned one where she would go.

Midnight grunted in pain as the knife cut her side. She could feel her skin begin to tighten up and become stiff, but then she gave him a smirk as she pulled out something like an epipen and stabbed it into her thigh.

"Epinephrine won't work on this; it will just accelerate it."

"It's not an epipen" –her smirk grew wider– "it's a modified immunoburster made by your blood!"

"But how did..." He took a step back. "USJ!" They needed his blood to counteract the amount of toxins in the Viper and save her.

"Bingo!" She launched her whip at him. He dodged again, but as she pulled her whip back, she couldn't... "What...?"

It was his turn to smirk, even if she couldn't see it. "Got you!" Her whip was stuck in the glob of poison he shot at her. She quickly looked around and saw that she was surrounded in puddles of this stuff. "You ever heard of the superglue frog? Turns out I can create something very similar." Dokusei began to dash towards her. "Mineta, now!

"Poison Valley Grape Rush!!" Mineta came out from a rock and started throwing his balls at her.

"I'll just use my ga-" She tried to use her gas, but nothing came out; she wasn't even sweating!

She soon began to get covered in purple balls and become immobilized. "That wasn't a paralyzing toxin I hit you with." Dokusei was right behind her as he put the cuff on her. "I hit you with a toxin that closes up all your pores on your skin, not even allowing you to sweat."

"Attention, team Sumiteru and Yaoyorozu both have passed!" Recovery Girl announced.

"But the pen...?"

"The booster probably only targets the toxins that cause paralysis and cell destruction; this toxin doesn't use any of those proteins." He pulled off his mask and shrugged.

"I seriously underestimated you." She smiled at them, genuinely. "Mineta running like a coward was part of the plan?"

"Pretty much." He gave Mineta a high five.

"Yeah, no one keeps an eye on the little guy!" Mineta gave a thumbs up. "Especially if they're running like a coward!"

She let out a sigh. "And Aizawa paired you two up because of your hate for Mineta."

"I don't hate him, just his perviness and his perverted actions." He gave the runt a quick glare as he was about to reach for an inappropriate spot on Midnight.

"Well I'm glad to see you passed and my doubts for you are gone if you can pull that off." Dokusei smiled and bowed in thanks. "Now get me out of this, so we get checked up in Recovery Girl's tent."

They managed to be one of the first few teams to be done. Midoriya and Bakugo finished not long after they arrived. "Wow, Mordy, you look like shit,'' Dokusei said as he saw him getting healed by Recovery Girl. All Might was looking over an unconscious Bakugo.

"Oh... Hey, Sumiteru..." Midoriya looked beat in all forms of the word. "Congrats on passing... "

"You too, man." He looked back to Bakugo. All Might was grabbing and moving him to a more quiet room. "I'm surprised you and Short Fuse managed to work together at all."

"Yeah, it wasn't easy."

"That big oaf, All Might, didn't make anything easier," Recovery Girl commented. "Now you and Bakugo will be sleeping in beds on school grounds till I say you're good to go." She handed a water bottle to Dokusei. "You need to bring your hydration levels back up."

"Yeah... Spitting as much as I did today, the cotton mouth is real!" He took a swig.

"Umm... Recovery Girl." Midoriya lifted his head up. "Is it alright if I stay and watch?"

"Are you sure? You still might be out of it." She took a seat at the wall of monitors.

"Yeah!" He seemed to get his energy back. "This is a rare opportunity for me to see and get notes not only on my class but also the pros that we don't see!"

Dokusei chuckled. "Never change Midoriya." He saw Ochako running with Aoyama; they were getting close to the exit. However, as soon as they rounded the last corner, Thirteen was standing right there. "*Rush her and don't give her a chance to set up!*" He tried to send the mental message to Ochaco, but she and her partner just froze up; this gave Thirteen enough time to open the cap on her glove and began to suck them in.

"Damnit, Care Bear..." He facepalmed. They held onto a strong fence for dear life. Well at least they were doing better than Mina and her partner.

He saw Mina and Kaminari both dive to the ground to dodge not only a wrecking ball but a building that came down with the ball. "Principal Nezu seems to be having... Too much fun..."

"He experimented a lot when he was younger," Recovery Girl said. "So in times like these, his true character comes out inadvertently."

"They're staying out in the open; they should use that rubble as cover and try to pinpoint where the build-a-bear is." Recovery Girl snorted at that. "Then use Kaminari to fry the electronics in the crane."

"I won't tell him you called him that, but you're correct, they're panicking too much."

"Wow, Sumiteru." Midoriya looked up at him. "You're really good at strategy."

He shrugged. "It's more like I make a plan and stick to it, A plan never fails if it can still be pulled off."

Recovery Girl announced a few more teams passed before the five minute mark hit, then everything came down to the wire.

Dokusei looked back to Ochaco just in time to see her suddenly let go and get sucked towards Thirteen. Before she could be turned into human spaghetti, Thirteen shut her quirk off. This allowed Ochaco to seize the opportunity to pull off a take down and cuff Thirteen. "Sloppy..." Dokusei shook his head.

"Times up, that's it everyone!" Almost everyone finished but two. Team Mina and Kaminari, and team Kirishima and Sato.

"Welp, Mimi is going to be bummed out for the next few months." He walked out of the tent, waving goodbye to Recovery Girl. He walked to the area where everyone was waiting after their test was completed. He nodded to Iida as he passed by. Dokusei saw who he was looking for; she was talking to Tsuyu, both looking fairly exhausted. "There you are, Care Bear."

Ochaco turned around. "Oh hey, Dokusei! Congratulations on passing, I didn't think I wa-AHH!" She was interrupted with a flick to her forehead. "Ow... What was that for...?" She rubbed the hurt spot.

"I saw your fight against Thirteen."

"Oh..." She turned away a bit, a small blush growing.

"Now tell me what you did wrong?" He crossed his arms.

"I-I-I Hesitated..." A small blush began to grow. "Allowing Thirteen to get her quirk going..."

"And how should you've done it correctly?"

"I should have rushed in, not give Thirteen time to do anything..."

"Good, now that you know that, do better." He patted her shoulder.

Tsuyu stayed quiet and just looked between the two. "Sumiteru, ribbit." She turned to him. "Can I talk to you in private?"

"Uhh... Sure?" They walked away to a more private area. "What's up, Tsu?"

"You like Ochaco, don't you?" she said bluntly.

His face went from pale to white, then had a blush growing from his neck. "Uhh... May I ask why you think that?"

"Ribbit, you seem happier when she's around."

"I'm always happy to be around my friends." He rubbed the back of his neck.

Tsuyu shook her head. "Not what I mean." She nodded her head towards where they came. "You beamed, much like Ochaco does when she sees Midoriya-" ouch Tsu "- it's just a lot more subtle, ribbit." She smiled at him. "You two have clearly gotten closer at your work study."

His mind flashed back to their conversation about him being a hero, her laughter, her soft hands, that heart stopping smile– "Sumiteru?" Tsuyu got his attention back.

"Sorry, was just remembering something..." He had a small smile on.

"Ochaco?" She gave him a smirk.

The smile quickly disappeared. "Why do you care so much...!?" He didn't mean to come off as rude, but he liked to keep his private stuff, well... private!

She put her hands up in a calming manner. "You know as well as everyone in our class that she really likes Midoriya, well maybe not everyone...ribbit..." She put her finger to her chin.

"Yeah Mordy is pretty oblivious..." He crossed his arms as he muttered.

"I just don't want you or Ochaco to get hurt and ruin your friendship." She smiled at him again. "You two are my friends, ribbit, and I don't want to see any rift between you two."

Dokusei let out a sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're not going to let up till I give you an answer?" She shook her head no. He looked around for a moment, seeing no one really paying attention to them. "I do... I have feelings for her."

"Thank you, Sumiteru." She bowed. "I won't tell her, and I wish you luck with everything." She walked away, leaving Dokusei with his thoughts.

"She thinks you're pathetic."

"Not today..." He rubbed his temples, walking back to everyone. Hopefully they'll be allowed to go home soon
