Leena's POV

"I don't think I like Omega," Cypher said as we were about back to get off of the Normandy.

For this mission, Shepard decided he wanted me to tag along with Cypher and Miranda. My armor was new and it was pretty neat because it matched my guns. My hair was in a ponytail and I was ready to go.

I could understand why Cypher didn't like Omega it wasn't exactly a nice looking place to reside. Supposedly there was a lot of crime here. A salarian with a nasal voice welcomed us before being chased off by a Batarian. His name was Moklan and once the salarian was gone did he look at us. After a polite welcome, he explained someone named Aria wished to speak with us. Cypher was about to make a remark but I shut his mouth with a gloved hand.

The last thing we needed was to piss off the wrong people. This mysterious Aria was located at a club called "Afterlife". So that was our first stop. While approaching EDI the ship's AI talked with Shepard about someone named Mordin and Archangel.

Several different species wolf-whistled at Miranda and I while Cypher simply bared his teeth and gave all of the cat-callers the bird which made me snort. Afterlife was your typical nightclub with pole dancers, etc. Aria turned out to be an Asari and before we approached her, security ran some sort of scan on the group before it was determined we weren't a threat.

Aria gestured for Shepard to sit down and he did. She was the unofficial ruler of Omega and was someone you didn't want to piss off.

"Cute Metal Dragon" Aria complimented nodding at Cypher.

I only nodded thanks and Cypher did the same. The first thing Shepard asked was about Archangel.

"You and about half of Omega" the dominant Asari spoke. "You want him dead too?"

Apparently whoever this Archangel was pissed off a lot of people. The local mercenary groups were teaming up to take him down. And these groups didn't get along at all. They were called Blue Suns, Eclipse, and Blood Pack.

They were in fact doing some recruiting here at the club. Shepard then asked about the salarian doctor named Mordin. Aria said he was in a quarantine zone trying to help plague victims. Shepard thanked Aria for her time and got up from the couch.

"So what should we do first?" Miranda wondered. "Try and find Archangel or find this doctor?"

"This Mordin might be beneficial for the group so let's head to the quarantine zone" Shepard suggested.

Aria had mentioned a transport could take us to the area in question. It took a little walking around but we found the transport and took it to the destination in question. When we arrived there the district was being blocked off by a turian and a woman voiced her displeasure. To our surprise, the turian let us go through but warned we might get fired upon.

When we entered the quarantine zone the scent of death was present and it was foul. But I ignored it and followed after Shepard. Sure enough, we got fired upon and we exchanged gunfire at those who attacked us on our way to Mordin's clinic. Cypher wanted to burn some of the bastards but I advised it wasn't a good idea to piss off Aria so he relented. As we got closer to the clinic we saw numerous victims of the plague which sucked. Upon arriving at the clinic there were patients ready to be seen or who had just finished appointments.

We found the salarian doctor hard at work and Shepard called him by name. Mordin used his Omni Tool to scan us to make sure we weren't infected. He greeted us while talking quite fast and I took an immediate liking to him as did Cypher. He was curious about what brought us to the clinic. Aria had been right he didn't shut up but he seemed nice.

Shepard got to the point and invited Mordin to join our group since Cerberus basically ordered it. At first, Mordin was hesitant to but the mention of the Collectors got his interest but he would only leave when his cure for the plague was given out. No sooner had he finished talking did the power go out. Now our next task was to restore power at the environmental control center and kill the annoying vorcha that cut the power off.

The salarian then handed over the cure for the plague as well as some weapons he got from dead Blue Suns mercs. He also asked if we found one of his assistants named Daniel to please help him.

"I like your doc," Cypher told Mordin.

"A Metal Dragon? Quite fascinating your race is" the doctor told Cy.

Cypher mumbled his appreciation before our group was ready to head out.

While on our way to the plant we had to deal with some hostile idiots. I had Cypher have the pleasure to burn them. We did end up finding Daniel and the poor guy was being held at gunpoint by a group of batarians. The poor bastards were obviously scared but after Shepard reassured them we weren't a threat they let Daniel go and took their leave.

Daniel thanked us before he made his way back to the clinic. A short time later we arrived at the plant and the moment we stepped in we got ambushed by the damn vorcha. The plant consisted of two fans and the cure was to be distributed at one location and for those two fans to be turned back on.

"Leena go restore one of the fans" Shepard ordered after we killed some vorcha. "Miranda and I will go to the other fan after we inject the cure into the system"

I nodded before I headed in the direction of the fan close by. Cypher burned the vorcha who crossed our paths. Most of them fled and yelped in pain from Cy's flames. I eventually came upon one of the fans and restarted it before Cypher and I went to aid Shepard and Miranda.

But we didn't have to do anything because they managed to find the other fan and turn it on. Now the cure could be free to be distributed throughout the area and those who became infected would get better.

Upon returning to the clinic Mordin was happy to see we pulled things off and he happily accepted joining the group. He decided to leave Daniel in charge of the clinic which seemed like a good fit.

"Fascinating, I didn't realize you were a shifter," the salarian told me when he got a closer look at me. "Though my thoughts were occupied"

"No worries I'm Leena and I happen to like you as well doc"

Mordin chuckled and I think I was gonna enjoy having this guy around.
