Leena's POV

"I'm surprised your not with Shepard" Jack greeted me as I found her.

"I decided to sit out on this one," I told the powerful biotic user.

We were currently at Korlus. Garrus was helping the Commander along with Miranda. Jack didn't like her due to her ties with Cerberus.

"Have you found anything interesting in the files?" I asked.

"Some but I'm still digging" she replied. "I hope to find something I can use later"

"Knowledge is power"

My remark made her smirk a little.

"Oh, it can be when in the right hands" she agreed. She then look up from the electrical pad. "You're a shifter, right? I thought I heard that cheerleader bitch mention something about it"

"I am" I confirmed with a nod. "I'm a black panther but I don't transform into my true form unless it's necessary, my true passion is fixing shit when it's broken down"

"Yeah, I saw you working on the transport earlier what was wrong with it?'

"A few spark plugs came loose, nothing I couldn't handle, I guess I'm one of the few girls who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty"

"I knew I would like you, you're not like that cheerleader upstairs"

"If it makes you feel any better Cypher had no intention in being locked up again, two years ago he was put in a cage so he could be sold for a profit, the bastards ended up getting what they deserved"

Cypher still had no desire to be near Jack.

"I bet that pissed you and him off, for a Metal Dragon he packs quite a punch, man I can still see Kuril getting his ass burned I wish I saw that"

"The smell wasn't ideal but seeing that turian getting scorched was amusing, once Cy gets to know you better he won't be afraid but you can't exactly blame him, hell you scared me when I saw your powers"

Jack snorted and I couldn't help but laugh. I then left her to go back to what she was doing and headed back to the upper levels of the ship. Commander Shepard was back and with him was a Krogan.

"Who's this Commander?" I questioned my friend as I eyed the Krogan in interest.

"This is Grunt he was found in a lab and he's decided to join us," the human said introducing the Krogan.

Grunt was a younger Krogan by the looks of him. Despite his appearance Grunt seemed polite and he was glad to get the hell out of the lab. After exchanging pleasantries I decided to go find my turian male. As expected Garrus was in the Main Battery doing whatever he was doing.

"Don't try and sneak up on me Leena" my fiancé warned not looking behind him.

"Babe I seriously doubt I could do that" I responded.

My beloved finished his current project before turning to me.

"You know out of curiosity I have yet to hear about your time on Omega, but if you don't want to talk about it love we don't have to"

"No, I don't mind besides I do owe it to you after keeping my goal there a secret, as I told Shepard earlier I got fed up with the bureaucratic crap on the Citadel so I went to Omega, people there needed someone to believe in someone to stand up to the local thugs"

"What about your squad?"

"Not that different from when Shepard formed our group to fight Saren when he was indoctrinated, I proved to get things done and people joined in"

My mate talked about each of his squadmates with fondness and respect. Garrus explained there had been twelve members of his group and each one had something unique about them. They would deal with the local slavers, pirates, and gangs who went too far.

I chose my next words carefully because I didn't want to upset Garrus.

"What happened to your squad?"

"It was my own damn fault" my fiancé began. "One of my people betrayed me, a turian named Sidonis, he drew me away just before the mercs attacked my squad, then he disappeared, everyone except me is dead because of him and because I didn't see it coming"

I decided it was best not to ask any more questions about Omega because it was obvious it still bothered my mate.

"I'm sorry you endured that"

"Now you see why I didn't tell you what was going on," Garrus said coming up to me. He placed his hands into mine. "I couldn't lose you too, Leena"

My Archangel then kissed me to prove his point. I growled in displeasure when he pulled away.

"I'll meet you back in our quarters shortly, there are some things I want to finish up here"

"Alright but don't keep me waiting"

He chuckled before giving me a quick peck on the cheek and I left him to his project. Cypher was with the Commander because I passed him lounging on the human's shoulder. When I got back to my quarters I saw my violin and decided to play it since I hadn't used it in some time.

I chose a few songs I liked and one of them was "Setsuna's Lullaby" from Yashahime. It was a beautiful song and the moment I heard it I fell in love with it. As I played the melody the door to the room opened and Garrus came in.

Seeing I was playing my fiancé sat down on the nearby sofa and listened. He relaxed and closed his eyes to the music. After finishing "Setsuna's Lullaby" I chose to play the theme from "Jurassic Park". My beloved didn't open his eyes until I finished the song.

"You know I tried to give Jurassic Park a try but never got into it"

"Watch it Vakarian that's one of my favorite movies your insulting"

Garrus chuckled while I began to put away the violin. Afterward, I joined him on the small sofa and my handsome turian pulled me into his lap.

"We should discuss our upcoming wedding my Nightshade"

"Oh? And what does my Archangel have in mind?"

"Right now only having you become my wife and what happens afterward"

The turian then placed his mouth against the sensitive spot on my neck and kissed it.

"And trust me Leena our wedding night will be one to remember"

His words almost made my underwear become soaked. With a growl, I claimed his mouth plates with my lips igniting a fiery kiss. And damn what a kiss it was too. When it was over I knew my Archangel was still blushing.

"Ow damn," I growled feeling my back was suddenly sore.

"What's wrong?" Garrus asked.

"My back is just sore babe" I reassured him.

"Hmmm now that gives me an idea"

He then told me to take my shirt and bra off in which I did. Garrus then had me get on the bed and lay down on my stomach. A few minutes later he placed his hands onto my back and began to massage the kinks out.

"I can't have my Nightshade in pain" Garrus stated while working on my back.

"Shit love that feels good" I answered.

"Well this is one way to work off stress"

"Don't turians usually spar to do the same thing?"

"Oh definitely, though I prefer other activities" he purred.

"Who knew my future husband was a pervert"

Garrus scoffed at that comment.

"Though back on Omega I beat the shit out of another turian who was even worse" I confessed.

Garrus then chuckled.

"I wished I saw that"

"The idiot was harassing a dancer, so I kicked his ass and he bolted"

"Sounds like he deserved it too"

Garrus then kissed my left shoulder before continuing his massage. I was disappointed when he finished but my back was no longer sore. Garrus left the bed and gave me my tank top and bra back. I put the articles of clothing back on and I tried my best not to drool when the turian had the upper portion of his body exposed.

"I was getting hot," my fiancé said seeing I had been staring.

"Or trying to give me a damn nosebleed" I corrected.

The turian chuckled again before coming up to me.

"I could use a nap what do you think?"

"Count me in" I accepted.

My handsome turian then scooped me into his arms and then lay ourselves onto the bed. With his arms around me we both ended up falling asleep and it was a pretty damn nice nap too.
