Leena's POV

As expected we had to deal with some more Husks and Collectors before finally coming upon the main transmitter. Garrus did some tinkering around and eventually, we got in contact with Joker again. With EDI's aid, the defense towers would be back up and running shortly.

However the damn Collectors and Husks came in and it was back to the usual gunfire, biotic blasting, and burning from Cy.

"Leena get down!" I heard Garrus shout.

I did as he asked and my fiancé shot down a Collector and Husk that managed to sneak up behind me. During the shootout, one of the Collectors mumbled bullshit in the human tongue again.

"Shut up you ugly ass insect!" Cypher roared before unleashing his dragon fire on the Collector that taunted us. No sooner had he brought down the Collector another one showed up and it was trying to stop us from having the defense systems come back online

Cypher gave the Collector a serious scorching before he began to fall downwards. I ran like hell and managed to catch the little guy in my arms while Shepard and Garrus managed to kill the damn Collector trying to stop us.

Suddenly the Collector ship came to life and it began to make its getaway.

"Damn it all" I growled watching as the Collector bastards made their escape.

The mechanic arrived on the scene and began to freak out about the Collector ship leaving with the kidnapped colonists on board.

"I'll be god damned" a familiar voice spoke getting our attention.

Kaiden Alenko approached us not sure if he believed Shepard was even there at first.

"Commander Shepard, captain of the Normandy, the first human Spectre, savior of the Citadel"

Kaiden then looked to the mechanic.

"You're in the presence of a legend Delan, and a ghost"

The mechanic shook his head and walked off.

Kaiden then walked over to us and shook hands with the Commander.

"Leena, Garrus, and Cypher good to see you again" the human male greeted us with a nod.

I nodded back at Kaiden in return, he looked good. But he also looked angry.

"I would have followed you anywhere Commander, thinking you were gone it was like losing a limb, why didn't you try and contact us? Why didn't you let those who cared about you know you were alive"

"I'm sorry Kaiden but it was not by choice I was in a coma for two years while Cerberus rebuilt me" Shepard explained.

Seeing things were getting tense I backed away and let Shepard speak to Kaiden alone. My attention went to the sky and I thought about the humans who were now the Collector's captives.

As though he sensed my unease Garrus came to my side and intertwined a hand into mine. I just hoped we could get the colonists back safely when all this shit was over. Before we left for the Normandy I made sure to say goodbye to Kaiden. He wasn't coming with us due to his loyalty to the Alliance but he wished us well.

"By the way Leena the Commander said you and Garrus are engaged, congratulations"

"Thank you my friend it was certainly a surprise when he popped the question"

"Well I'm not surprised you two are good for one another, take care of yourselves and Cy, the poor guy looks exhausted" Kaiden stated nodding at the tired Metal Dragon in my arms.

The human male and I shook hands before we parted ways. Back on the Normandy the Commander had to talk with the Illusive Man and I decided to let Cy rest with Joker. I went back to my room and pulled my armor off and hung it up. I put my guns down on the table and took my boots off. Garrus was in the Main Battery again doing something so I would wait for him to return.

I then had an idea and I smirked before going over to the music panel and scrolled through the contents. Once I found the song I waited patiently until my handsome turian returned. A half-hour later when Garrus entered our room Darth Vader's theme was playing and my fiancé shot me a glare. The look of jealousy on his face was priceless and I began to laugh my ass off.

The turian shook his head before going to the music panel and turned off the "Imperial March".

"Leena you're going to be the death of me," Garrus said.

"Babe the look on your face was epic" I teased my other half.

"Oh don't think I'm done with you my Nightshade" the turian warned before heading into the bathroom. I heard the shower turn on and while he was in there I decided to look on the internet for wedding dresses.

I wanted my dress to have Garrus's mandibles on the floor. However, after some scrolling, I didn't find anything that stuck out. The shower eventually turned off and I closed the tab I was looking at. My mate strode out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Immediately my face went red and I grabbed a book to cover my eyes because I didn't need a damn nosebleed.

However, Garrus had other plans because he took the book from me and claimed my lips with his mouth plates. But the kiss was a distraction because the next thing I knew my hands were suddenly tied up behind me. My fiancé had an amused smirk on his face.

"Now my Nightshade you'll endure your punishment for preferring Darth Vader over your Archangel"

My mate was quick to get my clothes off and soon I was under his mercy in the form of really hot sex. I was going to have scratches and bites later no doubt.

Saren's POV

It was Rue's whimpering that woke me up. My Little Wolf was having another bad dream. She then woke up in a panic. I placed a hand on her face and made her turn to me.

"Oh thank god"

My beloved placed her head underneath my chin and I drew her onto my lap. My arms were now wrapped around her naked form. Before we went to bed we made love and it had been my turn to be the dominant partner.

"Was it the same dream about being taken from me again?" I asked her.

"Yeah"

To help her relax I kissed her forehead.

"I won't be parted from you ever Little Wolf" I vowed. "And anyone who dares to do that will deal with my wrath"

My comment got her to snort in amusement and I couldn't help but chuckle lightly myself. The two of us then lay back down and my arms never once left her body. When I saw my mark on her skin pride filled inside me. On my right wrist was my Little Wolf's mark which told other females I was off-limits.

Rue was very possessive and any female who was stupid enough to try and flirt with me got told off by a pissed-off florist. At times even I got a little fearful of my Little Wolf's temper.

"Go back to sleep Little Wolf, know I am here holding you"

"Since we started dating you've turned into a romantic, my Moonheart"

That got me to make a snort of my own. But perhaps she was right I did show some romantic tendencies whenever we were alone. Rue gave me a quick peck on my mouth plates before she lay her head against my chest. She was the first to fall asleep and I joined in shortly afterward.
