Leena's POV

"So who exactly is this guy?" Shepard asked the group.

Rue's father had finally made contact and the older wolf demanded a meeting with his daughter. Hence why Saren, Rue, Cato, Cypher, the Commander, and I were at a park for the designated meeting spot.

"His name is Conall Lucas" Rue explained. "He's my father and an asshole, he blamed me for my mother's death and tried to marry me off to Cato so I would produce a grandson"

"Though he runs his pack well, he's a cruel man, and trust me Commander Shepard he's going to try and take Rue, you being here as another Spectre will help" Cato added.

Saren growled and Rue intertwined her hand into his. The Commander nodded and I was glad that Saren suggested that the human male be here. Fifteen minutes passed before a group of men approached. Rue growled and Saren did as well at the sight of the older wolf male coming our way. His hair was short and silver due to age but his eyes matched his daughter's. Behind him were two other wolves a male and a female. They had to be his betas, the second in command behind their alpha.

Eventually, Conall Lucas stopped at a good enough distance and his eyes looked at each of us. But when he saw Saren they narrowed. Saren stared back at the wolf shifter with hate.

"Cato I never expected you to betray me" Conall began looking at Cato.

"Do you honestly think I would keep your daughter with me against her will? If so then your foolish"

Conall didn't respond but instead looked to his daughter.

"Rue you are coming with me since Cato"

"I am not going anywhere with you" Rue interrupted. "In case you have forgotten old man, I am a fully grown wolf female, I am no longer a pup you can control, so I advise you turn around and leave"

"You dare address your sire in that tone? You forget Rue you are of my bloodline, and you will come back to Earth and marry another to continue"

"She is staying with me" Saren spat.

"Stay out of this conversation turian"

"I will not, I am a Spectre and Rue is my mate, hence she is under my protection"

Conall's eyes widened when he heard those words from Saren.

"You mated this abomination? He isn't of our race!"

Now that pissed off Rue, Saren, and I.

"I will say this again, leave or else" Rue growled. Her eyes glowed gold and her body was shaking with anger.

But Conall had no plans on leaving. The bastard transformed into his wolf form and he was fast. He easily got past me, Cypher, Cato, and Shepard. Rue transformed as her father did and in her place was a white wolf. Using her speed Rue body-slammed her father before he could even touch Saren. The two betas had transformed as well but Cato and I already had them overpowered. I had the female beneath me and I was in my panther form, while Cato was in his wolf form with the male beta pinned under him.

Rue and her father were in the middle of a fight and it was getting ugly. Blood stained the grass as bites, scratches, and yelps were exchanged. Rue then bit her father's neck hard and used her body to pin him beneath her. At first, Conall tried to fight back but Rue gave his neck a firmer bite which made the older wolf whine.

Saren's POV

My Little Wolf didn't remove herself from her sire until it was obvious he surrendered. She was just as beautiful in her true form as she was in her human one. My mate shook her body before returning to her human form.

When she came to me I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead.

Leena's POV

I had been right when about Conall not playing fair. A gunshot went off and that startled everyone but me.

"What the hell was that?" Saren demanded looking around for the shooter.

"Apologies Saren but that was me" Garrus answered coming our way. My fiancé then tossed a dead male onto the ground and Conall growled. Garrus turned to Rue. "This man was about to shoot your mate but I beat him to it"

Saren snarled and he quickly stormed over to Conall. The next thing Conall knew Saren had his hand on the wolf's throat. Both males glared at the other with hate before the Spectre released Conall.

Later.

Rue's POV

My father had been arrested for attempted kidnapping and murder and he was going to be sent back to Earth to face the consequences of his crimes. His betas were given leniency because they didn't know about what their alpha had been planning.

"Ow damn," I hissed as Saren cleaned the claw marks on my back I received from my father in our fight. I had a shirt covering my front.

"I am sorry my Little Wolf" my mate apologized as he disinfected the cuts. Once they were cleaned he placed bandages on them. Saren then placed his head on my shoulder. "I am proud of you"

I turned to my Moonheart and kissed his mouth plates before placing a hand on top of his.

"I will always fight for you my Moonheart, and I am proud of being your mate"

My comment got him to purr and he kissed my forehead.

"Now I know not to anger you"

I chuckled at his remark and gave his mouth plates another kiss.

A Couple Days Later.

Leena's POV

Our shore leave was finished and the Normandy would be leaving the Citadel soon. Rinoa was a miracle worker because my dress was finished being altered. When I tried it on I was even more blown away than from before when I first tried it on.

I asked Rue if she could keep the dress at her place and she accepted. When I returned to the Normandy I was introduced to Kasumi Goto. She was a human master thief and when she did her disappearing act Cypher was intrigued. Before going to my cabin Cypher had me go find Jack.

"Hey" Jack greeted. Her eyes were currently on a data pad looking up Cerberus information.

"Cy wanted to give you something he chose it as a matter of fact"

Jack looked up and Cypher flew from my shoulder and landed close to Jack with a bottle of wine in his claws.

"Sweet I like this kind of wine! Thanks, little guy!"

Jack then gave Cy a much-deserved scratch behind his side fins and the Metal Dragon hummed his pleasure. Seeing he was now comfortable being around Jack I left. Back in my quarters, I found Garrus laying on our bed and he was shirtless from the waist up.

"Not in the mood babe," I told the turian firmly.

"I was actually hot my Nightshade" Garrus answered.

I sat on the edge of the bed and pulled my boots off and slid next to my Archangel.

"You torment me whenever you wear this outfit my Nightshade," Garrus said referring to the Lara Croft attire I currently wore.

"And you torment me whenever your without your clothes on" I replied.

"I guess we're even then" Garrus chuckled before kissing the nape of my neck.

I blushed and enjoyed having my Archangel giving my neck some much-needed attention.
