Leena's POV

I ended up finding the grieving mother of Morinth's latest victim outside of an apartment complex.

"Are you here about my daughter? My Nef died a week ago and no one seems to care, the medics said it was a brain hemorrhage but that's not true someone killed my Nev, my baby"

"I'm sorry for your loss ma'am," I told the human woman. "I'm actually here to find the murderer"

"Oh thank you! It's so hard when no one believes you, I'm all alone"

I gave the mother a kind smile.

She ended up giving me some valuable information, some of which was about Morinth. According to the mother, Morinth would drag Nef to clubs and possibly got her drugs. The human woman introduced herself as Diana and I promised her I would get justice for her child. My vow made Diana suddenly hug me and despite my blush, I returned the embrace.

Diana said I could look in Nef's room and I thanked her before heading in that direction. As an artist, her room had some sculptures in it and I ended up finding a diary. Nev's projection came to life and with each new projection I learned something more.

It pissed me off this Asari killed an innocent life so her sick needs could be met. Having enough I bid Diana farewell before heading back to Afterlife. If Morinth was in the VIP section of Afterlife that was the best place to start looking.

I found a turian guarding the VIP door to the club but one look at me and he didn't hesitate to open the doors. I thanked him before making my way inside. I rolled my eyes when I saw the same turian I beat up before harassing another Asari dancer. But the idiot recognized me and took off afraid he was going to get another beating. The dancer thanked me before taking her leave.

I casually walked around until two turians wolf-whistled at me.

"Hey gorgeous, you look like you could use a good time"

"Not interested, Archangel is more my type"

"Seriously? You prefer that guy than us?"

Both of them stood up.

"Damn your hot"

The idiot tried to touch me but I ended up kneeing him where the sun didn't shine and I punched his lights out. His friend tried to attack me but he ended up getting the crap beat out of him too and he joined his friend on the ground in unconsciousness.

As I walked away an Asari greeted me.

"My name is Morinth, I've been watching you, you're the most interesting person in this place"

She then invited me to sit with her at a booth and I accepted her offer. We made small talk about club life, our interests, etc.

"Hmm you're a shifter, now I like that" Morinth stated. "What kind?"

"Black Panther"

"Now that I have to see sometime, you seem to like the music here"

"It's entertaining, but I like the band's Evanescence and Within Temptation"

"So do I" Morinth responded. "A good portion of their songs are dark, but the lead singer's voices are beautiful, I have some of their music back at my apartment interested in joining me?"

"Sure it's better than this place"

Morinth smiled before we both stood up. A short walk later we arrived at her place and she actually did start playing songs from Evanescence.

"You have good taste, I can't decide which song of theirs I like the most" I praised Morinth and sat down on the sofa. She was close by and her eyes were looking at me with hunger.

"I can't decide either" she agreed. "Though "Snow White Queen" has an allure to it"

She then got up and made her way over to me. Soon she was beside me and her arm was on the back of the sofa.

"I think I'm going to enjoy your company"

Her eyes then went black.

"Look into my eyes and tell me you want me, tell me you'd kill for me, anything I want"

"Sorry but I'm afraid I must decline"

"But you?"

Morinth's eyes then returned to their normal hue.

"Oh no, I see what's going on, the bitch herself has found a little helper"

No sooner had she spoken those words did Samara show up and her body glowed with her biotic powers. I stood up just as Samara sent a blast of her power at Morinth and the Ardat-Yakshi was thrown against the window.

"Mother" Morinth greeted Samara with bitterness.

"Do not call me that!" Samara responded sending another blast of biotics at her daughter.

"I can't just stop being your daughter, mother"

"You made your choice long ago"

Morinth unleashed her own wave of biotics and she roared.

"What choice? My only crime was being born with the gifts you gave me!"

"Enough Morinth!"

Samara sent her daughter flying with another blast of her biotic power. Soon the two women were at a standstill using their biotics and everything around the room was either floating in the air or broken.

"I am the generic destiny of the Asari, but they are not ready to reveal this, so I must die"

"You are a disease to be purged nothing more!"

I saw Samara was beginning to weaken a little so I grabbed Morinth's arm and everything around us fell.

"Your sick game is over Morinth"

"And they call me monster," Morinth told me just as Samara sent her daughter a blast of her biotics and Morinth went flying and landed hard on the floor. I then turned and listened as Samara muttered a prayer before she made the killing blow that ended Morinth's life.

"I am ready to leave this place, are you hurt Leena?"

"No I'm fine but before we leave Omega, let's pay Diana a visit and tell her that Nef's killer was brought to justice"

"I would like to join you if you don't mind"

I smiled and the two of us left the apartment together. Diana took the news of her daughter's killer being brought to justice well and she thanked us profusely. Samara offered her own condolences which comforted Diana.

Later.

Still Leena's POV

"Do you know how badly I wanted to beat up those turian's who were hitting on you?" my husband asked.

My beloved and I were in our quarters.

"Hell Saren almost lost his cool"

"No wonder he looked annoyed when we regrouped"

My Archangel looked at me. I had finished taking a shower and wore my usual Lara Croft attire.

"He's just being protective"

My husband then walked over to me and drew me into him.

"But hearing you say Archangel was your type was music to my ears"

"Damn straight and said vigilante belongs to me"

I gave Garrus a quick kiss against his mouth plates. The turian then smirked before kissing my left hand and he placed my engagement and wedding rings back onto my ring finger.

"When all of this is over we should think about a honeymoon"

"Wasn't our stay at the hotel considered that?" I teased wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Not even close and besides we spent most of the time in bed"

That got me to blush and Garrus chuckled before dipping me beneath him and gave me a kiss.
