Saren's POV

"Little Wolf if you don't stop working I'm going to have to pry you away from your research"

"I'll be done in a minute" she replied. "I think I might have found something"

I walked over to my mate and saw she was looking up information on a silvery flower.

"What kind of flower is this?" I inquired.

"It's a Silver Lily" Rue answered. "It's a flower that can grow anywhere in the galaxy under a full moon or moons depending on its habitat, we use it a lot for arrangements, bouquets, and other projects, like the Healing Sage there is a legend behind it"

Now that got my interest.

"What is the legend?"

"That it has a toxin that is lethal to a powerful race, though what the race is I'm not sure" Rue went on. "If I were to bet that race might be the Reapers"

"The Reapers are coming and the galaxy is doing its best to prepare for them"

Rue set her datapad down and turned to me. She placed her hands on my face and made me look at her.

"I know you're worried but you're doing the best you can to make sure others are prepping for this war, for now, my Moonheart let's not worry about those metal bastards"

Her comment made me smile and I pressed a kiss against her forehead.

Something then caught my eye and sitting on the counter was a plush doll. Rue suddenly squawked and hurriedly grabbed the plushie in question and hid it behind her back.

"Rue what is it your hiding?"

"I'll show you but don't make fun of me"

She then brought the doll from behind her back and my eyes widened in surprise. The doll was me!

"What the? When did these start being made?"

"I don't know but I saw it in a store and couldn't resist"

"So you had this when I was away?"

I tried my best to hold back my amusement.

My Little Wolf blushed and I chuckled before kissing her forehead again.

"I have to admit it's well detailed and cute"

Rue smiled when I spoke those words. She then drew me down to her level and kissed my mouth plates.

"It doesn't beat the real thing"

I purred at her words in agreement.

Leena's POV

"Shit, shit, shit"

"Relax Leena it's alright" Garrus reassured me as he drove the sky car to the restaurant where we would be meeting his father and sister for dinner.

I wore a blue dress that matched my husband's markings. I wanted to make a good impression on Castis and Solana. But it was more Castis I was nervous about. Eventually, we pulled up at the restaurant, and by the time Garrus had the car parked it was time to face the music.

"You have no idea how badly I want to rip that dress off of you" the turian teased quietly as he helped me out of the car. "Then again I always prefer you naked"

I flashed my husband a glare. He wore a smirk before kissing my left hand. We then went inside and the hostess took us to our table. Castis and Solana weren't here yet so I could try and relax before their arrival. A waitress came over to take our drink orders before a female turian was being brought over to our table by the hostess.

Female turians were different than their male counterparts. They lacked the head fringe and their faces were more elegant. And this turian was very pretty too. It was obvious by her blue markings this was my sister-in-law.

"Solana" Garrus greeted his sister as he stood up.

Solana Vakarian smiled and the two siblings shared a hug. I gulped before finally standing up myself and waited for introductions.

"You must be Leena, it's nice to finally meet you, Solana Vakarian," the female turian said to me after pulling away from her brother.

She offered her hand out for me to shake and I returned the gesture.

"It's a pleasure to meet you at last as well, Solana, sorry I'm nervous"

"Understandable it's not every day you meet your in-laws"

I actually chuckled and Solana did the same. It was then a second turian joined our group and I did my best to not hide behind Garrus.

"Parking out there is annoying" Castis muttered shaking his head.

"Yes, it is" Garrus agreed. "You look, well Dad"

Castis nodded before his attention was focused on me. The older turian then smiled and approached me.

"I'm glad to be finally meeting you, Leena"

"I'm honored, sir"

I wanted to kick myself for saying that but Castis offered his hand out and I shook it. We all then sat down and my in-laws ordered their drinks before conversation ensued.

"So tell us about yourself Leena" Solana suggested.

I blushed before telling them I was a mechanic who had been working until the Sovereign situation and then the Collectors. Next, I talked about my family and what their life was like back on Earth.

"Where on Earth did you grow up?" Castis asked in interest.

"I grew up on the West Coast in the United States" I explained. "Washington state"

"That's a pretty part of the Americas" Castis complimented. "Especially the forests and state parks, I also heard Mount Saint Helens is in Washington state"

"It is, I've been there several times, I highly recommend going there if you're passing through"

I liked the fact my father-in-law appreciated where I grew up.

"How long has that volcano been dormant? I heard there was a bad eruption in 1980" Solana wondered.

I chuckled and responded to her question.

"I don't know how long it's been dormant but there was a bad eruption in 1980, and technology back then wasn't like it is today"

"Spirits your right on that" Castis agreed. "Though I'm pretty sure the eruption of Mount Vesuvius claimed more lives"

"You like history?"

Castis nodded.

"I do when I have free time I like to read about Earth's histories and different cultures"

I turned to Solana.

"What hobbies are you interested in?"

"Hmmm that's a good question" my sister-in-law spoke up. "I do like to read anything that catches my eye as well as practice my gun skills"

"You should have a shooting match with Leena" Garrus suggested and I shot my husband another glare. Castis shook his head while Solana snorted in amusement.

"Only if she wants to brother"

"You know I actually wouldn't mind that" I voiced in. "I always welcome a challenge"

Castis chuckled.

"You have spirit Leena and I like that" I felt my face go red and Garrus squeezed my hand gently. The older turian then suggested a toast and for the hell of it, we all participated.

"Welcome to the family Leena" my father-in-law continued after his toast was over with.

"I wouldn't have it any other way sir"

"Garrus let's hope you and Leena bring in little ones" Solana teased.

Garrus facepalmed at that comment while Castis and I laughed.
