Leena's POV

"Man I can't believe EDI has a physical body now"

"Cypher nearly had a heart attack when he saw her" Liara joked.

The Metal Dragon was perched on her shoulder.

"Of course I did, it's not every day an AI gains a damn body"

Our next mission was going to Eden Prime. Cerberus supposedly found something and we had to make sure those assholes didn't get their damn hands on whatever they found. Garrus and I would be joining Liara and Shepard for this mission.

"Eden Prime," Liara said eying the screen for a moment before rejoining us. "This is where it all began, where the Prothean Beacon gave you the vision that warned us about the Reapers"

"And where Saren launched his first major attack with the Geth" my husband added.

Saren chose to stay out of this mission because Eden Prime brought back painful memories for the older turian.

Cortez drove the shuttle close to the dig site and dropped us off. Eden Prime was indeed a beautiful planet and it pissed me off Cerberus was even here screwing around with the colonists just to get their damn hands on something. I had Cypher scout the air while we looked around for a few minutes before heading in the direction of the dig site.

Once Shepard cleared the area we found the elevator that led down to the dig site and Liara approached the terminal. In just a few minutes she had the elevator working.

"Goddess that doesn't seem possible," the Asari said.

"What's up?" I asked her.

The archaeologist turned to us.

"It's not a Prothean Artifact, it's a Prothean"

The elevator stopped in front of us and a stasis pod lay on top of it.

"You got to be shitting me" I stated. "Liara is this some kind of joke?"

"No Leena I am not joking, within this stasis pod is a Prothean and he's still alive"

"Holy shit" Cypher added.

Back on Ilos, there had been other stasis pods like the one before us but the beings inside them had died.

"Well no wonder Cerberus is here they want this Prothean for themselves" my husband pointed out as Liara used her omni-tool to examine the stasis pod. Liara was understandably very excited since she spent her whole life studying them.

"Cerberus damaged the pod when they excavated it, the life signs are unstable, we have to find the command signal that ends the stasis mode" Liara explained. "We also need to figure out how to physically open the pod without doing more damage"

"We can probably find something at the labs" Shepard suggested. "Let's start there"

"I'll guard the pod in case any Cerberus assholes show up" Cypher notified us. "My illusions are still up"

Before we left the pod and the Metal Dragon behind a Cerberus shuttle zipped overhead and dropped off several recruits. Shepard used his biotics to bring the bastards down. While looking around the lab's intel to aide the Colonists was gathered.

Then we crossed paths with more Cerberus troops and we left loose with our guns to bring the jerks down. Afterward, Liara found the lab and Shepard unlocked the door and we did a quick sweep to make sure no other Cerberus soldiers were inside.

Once it was cleared we approached the console and Shepard went to work. A screen with nothing on it turned on but Shepard could see what was happening on it due to the Cipher. The Commander watched the footage for a few minutes before telling us he think he could use what he saw to duplicate the right information that could safely open the life pod.

"You saw what was going on," I said to the human male.

"Yes," Shepard confirmed turning to us.

"The Cipher is probably why you could understand and see the footage" Liara added.

"Yeah your right let's go find the remaining data"

We left the lab and had to shoot down some more Cerberus assholes to gain access to another lab a short distance away. When it was cleared the Commander went to the console and tapped a few buttons before watching more video footage while we only saw a blank screen filled with static.

A few minutes passed before Shepard finished seeing the footage and he told us he now could safely end the stasis mode on the life pod. The pod would have to wait because Cerberus backup arrived. Taking them down was a huge pain in the ass and delayed waking the sleeping Prothean up from his 50,000-year sleep.

We didn't approach the pod until it was obvious no other Cerberus soldiers were in the vicinity. But after Shepard did something to the life pod more Cerberus jerks showed up again. Having enough Cypher roared before taking flight and transformed to his larger form.

While we used our ammunition Cypher flew to the Cerberus shuttle and used his dragon fire to destroy it.

"Good job Cy!" I shouted to the Metal Dragon.

Cypher gave another roar before landing on the ground and he used his fangs to tear some Mechs into shreds. Liara notified Shepard the life pod could be safely opened now and Cypher reverted to his smaller form and soon he was back on my shoulder.

We all gathered around the life pod and a few minutes later the stasis device opened revealing the sleeping Prothean inside.

"Oh wow," I couldn't help but mutter.

Seeing this Prothean was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Like the Batarians, the Prothean had four eyes. However, their head structure was different.

"Goddess," Liara said.

This was an exciting moment for her too. The Prothean's color returned to normal and Liara said it might be sometime before he woke up.

"Uh he's waking up now" Cypher corrected and sure enough the Prothean had moved.

He groggily opened his eyes and it took a few minutes for him to become fully alert. He looked around in confusion and then at us. Then he shot out a wave of biotic power and we all were sent flying. I landed on my rear and the confused Prothean stumbled out of his pod.

The poor guy was confused and he looked around at once was his home 50,000 years ago. Shepard cautiously approached the Prothean and touched him. Shepard and the Prothean seemed to have a connection.

"Shepard is seeing the Prothean's memories" Cypher explained.

"Well, shit" I mumbled.

Eventually, Shepard and the Prothean separated and the confused being was on his knees.

"How many others?"

"Just you" Shepard replied answering the Prothean. "You can understand me?"

"Yes now that I have read your physiology, your nervous system, enough to understand your language"

The human male talked with the Prothean for another minute before communicating with Cortez. While this happened the Prothean turned to see us approaching. He eyed us in genuine interest.

"Asari, turian, human, an unknown race of female, and a Metal Dragon, synthetic, this is not a good beginning," the Prothean said.

The Prothean was unsure if he trusted us which was understandable. Only time could answer that question for him and I hoped he would eventually join us to bring the Reaper's down.

Later.

Still Leena's POV

"So what do you think of our Prothean guest?" I asked my husband.

"I'm not sure just yet to be honest" Garrus responded.

The two of us were in the Main Battery while Cypher was with Liara and Shepard. They were currently with the Prothean and talking to him.

"I can't blame him for being on guard and cautious" I went on. "Shit he must be lonely since he's the last of his kind"

"His knowledge of the weapon being built to destroy the Reapers will be beneficial"

I rolled my eyes and walked over to my calibrating turian and pulled him away from the console.

"My love I was"

But I interrupted my Archangel by kissing him on the mouth plates. A purr of delight escaped from the turian male and soon he lifted me upwards and placed me on the console in front of him. My legs went around his waist and soon Garrus was nipping and licking my neck.

"You're a damn tease"

"And you should know better than to distract me from my calibrations" he corrected before giving my neck another nip. "However I do enjoy giving my wife immense pleasure"

"Oh really then what about this?"

I pulled my husband closer and used my own tongue to lick his right mandible and then his scars.

"Spirits looks like you found a new sensitive area to tease me with"

I grinned and gave my Archangel another lick this time on his left mandible and he purred when I did that.
