Leena's POV

"I heard you wished to speak with me" I greeted the Prothean.

"Yes I did"

The Prothean was currently residing where Grunt used to inhabit during his time on the Normandy. Cypher was lounging on the Prothean's shoulder and he seemed to be getting along with the newest recruit.

"I've had the pleasure of talking with Cypher and learn some interesting things but first my name is Javik"

He offered his hand out to me and I returned the gesture.

"I'm Leena, I just hope Cy's been behaving himself he has a tendency for mischief" I responded after we finished shaking hands.

Javik chuckled.

"He has a sense of humor and I am enjoying his company, Metal Dragons were just making their debut throughout the galaxy in my cycle, if I'm correct you are called a shifter?"

"Yep and I take the form of a black panther, other shifters exist too"

"Interesting you'll have to tell me more about your people later, but what I wanted to talk to you about is Cypher and the Asari"

I arched an eyebrow in interest.

"Cypher and the Asari are Mind Mates, it's a mate bond that exists only in the mind of the mated pair" Javik went on. "It's a rare bond"

"I think I understand, so basically even though Cypher can't physically be intimate with his mate, within the mind they can be?"

"That is correct" Javik confirmed.

"Well hot damn Cy your one lucky bastard"

"It explains why I feel such a strong connection with Liara, in our thoughts, I take a human form"

"You probably are a looker too in human form, I'm happy for you buddy"

Cypher mumbled his thanks and I chuckled.

"From what your pheromones tell me you're joined with the turian"

Immediately my face went red. I hadn't expected for Javik to say that.

"Yeah we're actually married and a mated pair"

I showed Javik my rings.

"Hmmm perhaps this cycle will be an interesting experience"

"We just gotta kill the Reapers first"

"Indeed and I will be helping in the upcoming fight"

"And staying alive"

Javik chuckled again.

"That too"

Saren's POV

"The Krogan is in no position to make demands" the salarian Dalatrass growled. Spirits I hoped Shepard got here soon. I was next to Primarch Victus watching the exchange between the Dalatrass and the Krogan Leader.

"The Krogan has a name Urdnot Wrex! And I'm not just some junkyard varren you unleash whenever you're in trouble"

Shepard arrived finally and the human Spectre exchanged nods with the krogan leader before the meeting resumed.

"I've got my own problems, Reaper scouts have arrived on Tuchanka so why should I care if a few turians go extinct?" he looked at me and the Primarch when he finished his sentence.

"Trying to draw out negotiations will get you nowhere Wrex, I have no time for this just tell us what you want" the Primarch replied.

"I'll tell you what I need"

Urdnot paused for a minute before finally saying.

"A cure for the genophage"

"Absolutely not!" the Dalatrass exclaimed. "The genophage is non-negotiable"

"And why are you so against it?" I demanded at her.

"Because my people uplifted the Krogan, we know them best"

"You mean you used us! To fight a war you couldn't win! It wasn't the Salarians, or the Asari, or even the Turians that stopped the Rachni! It was Krogan blood that turned the tide"

"And after that, you ceased to be useful! The genophage was the only way to keep your urges in check"

Some more words were exchanged and I had enough as was Shepard.

"I think it's time for the genophage to end"

I got everyone's attention.

"The time for alliances is now" I turned to Urdnot. "If we assist you in curing the genophage, will you send aide to Palaven?"

"It depends but most likely yes" the red krogan answered. "And the cure can be made sooner than you think"

Urdnot then walked to where Victus was and the Primarch moved as Urdnot explained a salarian scientist named Maelon had been testing a cure on the krogan females. A screen lit up behind him and we all turned to watch it. Some females died but some were still alive and the Dalatrass had things covered up and the surviving females taken prisoner.

Now that made me angry and Victus looked disgusted. The Dalatrass was shocked the footage was even taken and here, to begin with.

"Where are the females being kept?" Shepard demanded.

Victus voiced in his opinion as did I and the Dalatrass shook her head before finally giving in.

"The females are being kept at one of our STG bases on Sur'Kesh"

"Then it looks like that's our next step in stopping this war"

I then turned to Urdnot.

"I may not understand what you and your people are going through but know I will aide you in curing the genophage"

"Leena did the right thing in saving your ass"

"Technically it was the Healing Sage that saved my life, but Leena injected the sage into me, hence my indoctrination was cured"

There was some more small talk before all of us left behind a ticked-off Dalatrass. Whether she liked it or not the genophage was going to end.

Leena's POV

When I heard Wrex was on the Normandy I stopped what I was doing and rushed to go see him.

"Leena!" Wrex boomed happily when he saw me.

The krogan then walked over to me and picked me up affectionately. I chuckled and hugged him. Afterward, he put me back down and gave my shoulder an affectionate pat.

"It's good to see you, Leena, so you finally married Garrus huh?"

"Yep, I'm enjoying it"

"Well I'm happy for you two, I haven't seen the lucky bastard since I came on board but I'll see him later"

"Just like old times eh?"

"Damn straight, I'll make sure not to make you mad though, hell woman even your temper scares me"

I smacked Wrex on the shoulder and he laughed before ruffling my hair. I then left him to gather his thoughts and went to find my husband. He wasn't in the Main Battery which surprised me and instead found the turian in our room just coming out from a shower.

He wore the typical casual turian pants minus the shirt.

"Don't think I'm not aware of Wrex's scent on you" my husband greeted me.

"Hey I missed him and besides"

I gave Garrus a kiss near his right mandible.

"There's only one male who can satisfy my desires in bed"

"Leena I just finished showering"

"I was making a point babe not hinting at sex" I corrected my husband. "Though by the looks in your eyes your thinking about tearing my clothes off"

"I always think about tearing your clothes off"

My Archangel then turned me around so my back was against his. He planted kisses on the right side of my neck.

"When this war is over there will be many times I will claim your body with mine Leena"

To prove his point he squeezed my breast.

"Meanie now I need to go shower"

When he squeezed my breast my underwear became soaked. Garrus wore a big fat smirk as he watched me strip and head into the shower. My husband being the sneaky bastard he was followed and we ended up having a very mind-blowing round of sex under the hot water. And it continued afterward in bed and I sadly wasn't the dominant partner, Garrus was and he didn't disappoint.
