Leena's POV

"I'm getting fed up with Cerberus" I spat as I waited for the Commander in the shuttle.

Grissom Academy was under attack and Cerberus wanted the students.

"I don't know much about them" Javik responded.

"Their bad news" I informed the Prothean.

"You guys ready to go?" Shepard asked when he got on the shuttle.

Cypher was going to sit this mission out as was Garrus. Javik and I nodded while Cortez drove the shuttle out of the Normandy. Joker then drove the Normandy away and after an interesting dive, the Cerberus ships began to chase after it. We arrived at the academy with no further incident. But in the next room were several Cerberus troops. They fell easily by our shooting and when it was clear did Shepard announce our presence to the director of the school.

Her name was Kahlee Sanders and she was relieved to see us. Javik and I left the room to keep an eye on things while Shepard talked with the director. After some small talk, the Commander rejoined us and said our next target was Orion Hall. Cerberus wanted these students to join them due to their unique abilities and fighting styles.

In one hall some troops were ready for us. But as always the Cerberus jerks were no match for our group. We found a student and Shepard told him to get back to Sanders. The student nodded and told us his sister was still in the school.

Some Cerberus idiot was talking bullshit over the intercoms. Another round of troops was in the following room and like the first wave, they fell with little incident. We did find the sister and I gave her some medi-gel and explained where her brother was. She thanked us and we continued on our way.

Sanders talked with us for a minute before she was able to talk over the intercoms and reassure her students. From her earlier message, an instructor was trapped with the students in Orion Hall. When we got to Orion Hall we found out the instructor was none other than Jack!

"Eat this!" she spat before using her biotics to send two Cerberus troops away from her. She knocked them into unconsciousness.

"Nice work Jack!"

Immediately Jack turned to us.

"Shepard? Leena?"

The conversation was cut short due to an Atlas arrival and it was go time.

"Jack! Go keep the students and yourself safe! We'll deal with this rust bucket!"

"Yeah will do!" Jack agreed before gathering her students and ran to safety. I dealt with any Cerberus troops while Javik and the Commander fought against the Atlas.

"Oh hell no" I growled seeing a Cerberus soldier trying to sneak his way up the stairs to the upper level. I ran up to him and gave the idiot a good socking before he fell into unconsciousness. I made sure the area was clear before going to rejoin Shepard and Javik. Jack was there as well. She looked damn good since I saw her last and as I approached the tattooed woman came over to me and we gave each other a hug.

"It's good to see you, Jack, never expected you to be a teacher"

"Me either but hey I enjoy it" she answered. "How's married life?"

"Still loving it but when Garrus was sent to Palaven I was scared"

"Hell I don't blame you, I saw you have a Prothean, you'll have to explain that one later"

It was obvious Jack cared about her students and they did the same in return. Shepard communicated with Sanders after talking to Cortez. There was another way to leave the academy but we needed to get on one of the Cerberus shuttles.

Shepard found the computer that was needed to give Sanders access to the cameras and whatnot on the station. Next, the locks to the Atrium needed to be unlocked. Once that was done Cerberus tried some persuasion bullshit. But with encouragement from Jack and Shepard, the teens gained their confidence back and ignored Cerberus.

Javik and I followed Shepard into the Atrium and the damn place was trashed. Taking down the troops took a little longer than planned. But with Jack and her students help we kicked Cerberus in the ass. We had to bring down a couple of Atlas mechs which was annoying.

We found some Cerberus troops trying to persuade another biotic user along with a couple of her classmates inside her biotic force shield. She didn't budge and we brought the assholes down with a few punches instead of gunfire.

It took some persuasion but the group thanked us before taking off to safety. Shepard killed a Cerberus soldier who had been distracted and used his Atlas to help us with the next wave of troops. The giant mech was a great way to end things and the Cerberus assholes didn't stand a chance with Shepard in control.

I decided to shoot the bird at several Cerberus guys and that pissed them enough off to fire rounds at me. But they only met their deaths by my guns. Javik killed some soldiers using his biotics and he seemed to enjoy the fighting. Once it was clear we all hauled ass to the shuttle and before the doors closed I gave any last Cerberus jerks a much-needed middle finger.

Back on the Normandy

Still Leena's POV

The students along with Jack and Sanders were glad to have been rescued. Before going to find Garrus I saw Saren and Kahlee talking. Saren did explain earlier he knew Sanders from two decades ago. He ruined David Anderson's chance of becoming a Spectre but now that he was no longer indoctrinated he was making his amends with Kahlee.

As always I found my husband in the Main Battery.

"Hey, handsome" I greeted my turian husband and kissed him on the cheek.

"I heard Jack was at the Academy, I'm glad she's alright along with Sanders and the students"

"The students still have a long way to go but their badasses, hell I even was asked for some autographs being the Science Fiction Lara Croft"

Garrus chuckled at that one before turning to me.

"You are the Science Fiction Tomb Raider my Nightshade"

Before doing anything else Garrus chose to lock the Battery doors along with turning the audio and cameras off.

"Babe I'm not in the mood for sex"

"I know I just wanted us to have some privacy for a few minutes"

"Uh-huh"

I didn't believe him because the last time he pulled this stunt we did end up having sex. My Archangel shook his head before pulling me into his arms. I blushed and let my turian male lick my neck affectionately along with some kisses.

"Have you heard anything from Castis or Solana?"

"No, not yet I'm trying not to worry but with such heavy casualties on Palaven"

I brought Garrus's head downward and I placed my forehead against his.

"Your father and sister are tough and I know they'll be okay"

"Spirits my love I hope your right"

I then gave my beloved a much-needed kiss and it did the trick in relaxing him.

"Damn it woman that kiss had my mandibles fall to the floor"

I smirked before giving Garrus another mind-blowing smooch and he purred when I did that.
