Chapter 2

'What the hell was that white space' Jordan wondered and thought about telling his parents but thought the better of it, they had enough on their plate with the funeral and sorting things out. 'He should really tell Jonathan, but decided against that as well'

He walked over to his bed and flung himself onto the bed and turned around on his back when he did he saw the tall man with short brown hair dressed in the golden rob standing in the door way. Sitting up quickly he stared rather put out that it had not been a dream, "oh he gasped how did you find me it wasn't a dream?"

"Afraid not" said the man called Elijah. "Don't worry i am not going to hurt you, we just want to know how you got to my home and how you can see us?"

"I told you before there was a white light and it went in my chest, i feel fine nothing has changed since it knocked me out in the barn"

"Barn?" queried Elijah.

"We are not allowed in there"

"We?"

"I have a twin brother Johnathan, i have not told anyone"

"Good best not tell them, would you care to show me this barn?" Elijah asked.

"I cant be seen my parents" Jordan said rather worried.

"In that case take my hand"

Standing up, Jordan wasn't too sure about him, but he did feel kind of safe with him, so without thinking he took Elijah's hand and a strange feeling swept through him and his vision went all burry for a couple of minutes. Then when it came to, he had to adjust them to the darkness of the barn.

"Oh" he gasped doubling over feeling rather sick. "What...was that, how did you do that?"

"The feeling will pass once you get used to Orbing"

"Orbing?"

"We can go from one place to the next whenever we want, where was the light?" he asked.

"It was over here" said Jordan standing in the spot where it had been, "it flung me back there" he said pointing.

"Hmm, i will get some of my family to look over the place, don't worry no one can see us unless we want them to so it looks like your talking to yourself if they see you talking to any of us"

"That's fine i want to know what it was as well" he replied. "How do i get back in the house without being seen" he asked worriedly "I don't want to get into trouble?"

"I will send you to you'r room" Elijah said, with a wave of his hand, the strange sick feeling returned and his vision blurred once more and he then found himself back in his room when he could see again.

"Are you sick?" came his brother's voice behind him.

"How much did you see?" Jordan gasped, spinning around a bit too quicky and stumbled over his feet and fell awkwardly to the floor. "Oh, that has taken my mind off feeling sick"

"You could have twisted your ankle, i saw you bending over, why what did i miss"

"Nothing" Jordan lied, with shaky legs, he stood up slowly in case he had indeed twisted something, but he felt fine so he followed his brother out of his room, feeling a bit better.

'Oh' said Lois seeing Jordan's pale face. "are you sick?" she asked worriedly.

"He doesn't feel well" Johnathan said sitting down at the table.

"I'm fine" he said staring at the plate of food, which he probably couldn't eat.

"You do feel kind of hot" said Lois putting her hand on his head.

"I do actually don't feel very well, do you mind if i go back to lie down" he said standing up slowly, when everything went blank suddenly and he collapsed onto the floor, causing them some shock.

Clark and Lois had to call an ambulance just in case he was really sick to not let on who Clark really was to his son's, he desperately wanted to take Jordan to the Fortress but couldn't because of Jonathan. 'It was best they didn't know'

It was through the night when Elijah was able to heal Jordan as every one was asleep. The medics couldn't find anything wrong with him, but Elijah knew it was because of the strange light that had caused the problem, so he was able to heal him so his body would accept his new powers of a white lighter, which he wasn't meant to have, as he stood back from the bed watching as Jordan wakened up.

"Hey there" he said smiling. "I have just healed you, it was your body adjusting to your new White lighter powers, plus the ones you already have, it seems your parents have been lying to you both as we have found something very interesting in the basement of the barn, which we ant to show you"

"Now" Jordan asked sitting up, feeling much much better. "It's the middle of the night"

"No time like the present, let's test your powers shall we. Think of the barn, clear your mind and concentrate on the place you really want to be" said Elijah, watching as Jordan closed his eyes and clearing his mind thinking of the barn and he vanished from his bed in a swirl of blue balls of light.

Seconds later once his eye sight returned, he found himself in the barn with a man and another older woman with grey short curly hair wearing white and golden robes. "Hello i am Gary" said the man with short black hair who was tall and rather skinny "and this is Beverly we are Elders in charge of the white lighters"

"Nice to meet you I think" said Jordan smiling feeling safe with these people he had just met. "How are you doing the lights?" as he noticed the balls of light hoovering up in the air.

"Magic, you can probably do the same once you adjust to your powers" Beverly said pulling back a wooden door way on the floor. There was even more light's down in the basement so he really wasn't scared as he followed Beverly down the stairs and he noticed there was even more lights as he looked about seeing a large grey ship of some sort. Going over to it he touched it and it made a noise and some sort of hole opened and a orange crystal appeared. "What is this?" he asked.

"It's some sort of space ship" Said Elijah, as Jordan took the crystal and it made another noise seemingly switched it off.

"He has been lying to us all these years" said Jordan rather upset and angry as he made his way back words, hurrying out of the basement and back into the barn.

Once out side he stood at the door in the dark taking a couple of deep breaths trying to calm down. He was that angry, he never noticed he had Orbed himself back into the kitchen where he quietly paced up and down holding the orange crystal. Hearing a noise from the stairs Jordan saw his father in his pjs coming in. Spinning round he showed him the crystal and Clark looked put out and worried when he saw it. "Where did you get that?" Clark asked. "Have you been outside in the dark, it's only 3.45Pm in the morning"

"You tell me what's that thing in the basement?" he asked giving him the crystal.

Rather reluctantly Clark said "it brought me to earth years ago, i am superman"

"What thats impossible?" Jordan replied looking upset.

"It's true" came his mothers voice from behind Clark. "He is Superman with special powers"

"What?" gasped Jonathan who was also awake and coming down the stairs.

"You've been lying all those years, all those times you were away that would explain things" he said hurrying past his parents and Jonathan rather upset and angry heading to his room to process the new information. Thumping his closed bedroom door in frustration 'he definitely couldn't sleep' he thought as things would never be the same again after figuring out his father was superman and he had abilities which he had not found out if Elijah had not told him.

When there was a knock on the door, he said 'come in" his brother came in looking rather upset.

"Can you believe it?" he asked standing before him. "I get why they have been lying but it's still a shock, i never knew" said Johnathan.

"I know right, things are about to change for us knowing who he is" Jordan replied, sitting on his bed. "How did you know?"

"My new friend Elijah told me" Jordan said.

"Who's Elijah?" Johnathan asked with a worried frown.

"Don't tell anyone but i think i am becoming a white lighter, i was in a white space with these people in robes who say they are guardian angels and my friend Elijah healed me not too long ago, it was my body getting used to being having these cool new powers that I don't know how to use yet plus the ones i got from dad"

"Oh, what the hell" Johnathan gasped sitting down on the bean bag.

"Watch this?" said Jordan who concentrated on the other side of the room and Orbed from the bed to the door way.

Johnathan could only stare in shock at the bright blue balls of lights, 'that's really cool' he gasped. 'Wondering if he should tell his parents, best not for the now, he would only tell them if it was dangerous but since this man healed his brother then he obviously wasn't going to hurt them' Johnathan thought. "Can you go anywhere you want?"

"Apparently so" said Jordan, smiling and Orbing back to his bed. "It's cool right"

"How did you get these new powers?" he asked slightly concerned.

"Well there was this light in the barn, so i went to investigate and it went in here" he said touching his chest. "It knocked me out and i have these cool powers"

"What light?"

"Don't know" he replied. "But Elijah and the others had a look round the barn and found dads space ship tucked away in the basement of the barn, that's how i found out Elijah found it and he showed me it, that's why we were never allowed to go in there" He said 'hoping his brother would keep quiet'

After spending the next few hours speaking to his brother, they both decided to forgive their parents for lying as they were the ones keeping secrets from them for the moment as they both headed down stairs for breakfast. They had been up all night talking and Jordan 'was pleased he could tell and show someone about his new powers' he thought sitting down at the table. Today was the day of the funeral so after breakfast, they went to their rooms to get changed into black suits. And where ready waiting on the black car coming for 10am that morning. They were ready in time and went in the car to the church and it looked like most of the towns people had gathered whom they had not seen in years paying their respects. 'It was rather sad in the church' thought Jordan standing beside his brother, when he started hearing distant voices in his head. "Ah" he said the voices getting louder.

"Are you alright?" Clark asked hearing him.

"Just a headache" he mumbled hearing numerous voices and he couldn't tell what was happening. "I have to go to the bathroom" he whispered. leaving the seat half way through the service and looking back he saw his brother giving him a look of concern.

Hurrying out of the service he closed the small bathroom door and leaned against it trying to get the voices to stop. "Elijah what 's happening?" he asked without thinking, when someone knocked on the door. "There's someone in here"

"It's me" came Elijah's voice.

"Thank god" he said opening it. "I hear voices yelling in my head" he said, worriedly, noticing Elijah was in a black suit and white shirt underneath 'looking the part'

"Thats part of being a white lighter" he replied with a frown. "We hear voices of people we are looking after, you can turn the volume down so it's not as loud, however i am surprised you are hearing them as you are not used to the abilities yet, concentrate in the loudness and think of turning them down clearly"

So concentrating Jordan was able to turn the volume down and that felt much better but he could still hear them whispering. "Do they ever stop?" he asked worriedly.

"afraid not" said Elijah "I would like to meet your family, you can say i am a new friend" seeming to know what was on his mind.

"Well your about to meet my twin brother" he said as Johnathan came looking for him.

"Who are you?" Johnathan asked, finding them out side the bathroom door.

"This is Elijah" said Jordan smiling.

"You're the white lighter who healed my brother" He replied sticking out his hand. "Thank you, i wont tell anyone"

"You told him" rather surprised.

Jordan nodded "it's alright you can trust him" he said, as they shook hands.

"I hope so" Elijah replied "I don't want to use the memory dust on you it makes you forget"

"Oh" Said Johnathan. "Our parents have been lying to us for years so I don't see why we cant have a secret, come and meet everyone" he said leading the way out side of the church as the service had finished.

"Okay" Jordan replied walking behind Elijah.

"Hey guys" said Jonathan as they wandered outside. "This is a friend of ours Elijah" to their parents who were talking to people.

"Hi were you a friend of my mother's?" asked Clark shaking his hand.

"No I didn't know her i am sorry for your loss" Elijah replied, giving them a warm smile.

It's nice meeting you said Lois. "We have a busy couple of day's ahead of us as we have to go back home to the city in a couple of days after sorting things out with the will and everything"

"So you don't live in Smallville" Elijah asked surprised.

"No we moved away to the city years ago" she replied.

After general chit chat every one went back to the farm for food. They had enough food to last as people were bringing them stuff to eat which is normal, Elijah had gone back to the white space after meeting everyone. The drive back was quiet as they were lost in thoughts.

Jordan was sitting out side half an hour later, when his brother came with some apple pie, is there any cream he asked when he saw blue balls of light appear on the table and some cream appeared out of no where. "Oh" said Johnathan staring.

"I wish for a million dollars" said Jordan staring. "Worth a try" rather disappointed.

For the rest of the day they sat talking to Lana's daughter who came to speak to them 'whom Jordan really liked when he saw her again for the first time in years' he thought.

When everyone had gone home for the evening, they retired to their rooms rather tired after a long day. He was thinking of bed when he felt the strange sensation run through him and his vision blurred and moments later he was back in the white space facing Beverly and another young man.
