Hello everyone! I'll put the notes at the end of this chapter!

DISCLAIMER:I do NOT own any of the character ideas used in the following fan fiction. It is just an original story idea using the characters of the Manga/Anime.

My OC's are Sinha and Kaya.

Sinha's hazel eyes opened as morning chirps filled her ears.

She never slept when other daylight creatures were awake.

One of her instincts…

To its credit, it had been a life saver a time or two…. but in the mornings... it could be downright annoying.

It didn't help that she had a restless night with Inuyasha fidgeting the whole evening as his departure approached.

His delayed departure… she thought to herself.

He kept putting off when he would leave, opting to leave once she was asleep.

But she would wake each time the damn fool moved!

He finally left as the stars peaked overhead, informing her he would try to be back within the next evening.

Sinha had been worried for him, but knew she couldn't do much of anything for him when it came to his task at hand.

She stretched her limbs and wiggled her tail as she moved from her sleeping bundle. Patting her hair from her face, she began her morning routine.

She relieved herself and cleaned her face in the thrush shanty attached to their home.

She grabbed her floral kimono and pink sash along with her arm bracers and continued to get dressed. Her green and pink kimono matched her pink obi that she would live out of if she wasn't in public. She had decided to sleep in it last night to save a step in the morning.

Her mother always chided her on doing so, but the kit couldn't break the habit. There was something comforting in the cloth that had been the last gift her father gave her. Now that she was big enough to wear it, she would wear it until it needed to be replaced. Which thanks to her fox magic, won't be for many decades.

It was sort of her signature.

Finally she brushed through her waist long hair and tied it behind her head, with shorter strands falling loosely around her ears. She straightened her hair as she looked for her hair pin. It would usually fall out in her sleep if she forgot to take it off, but it never went far from her covers.

She bent over, shaking about her blankets looking for the thing. A small 'plink' was heard as it finally fell free on the last shake of her blanket.

She went and grabbed the small circle of mirror that her mother kept amongst her things. She always made sure to pin the hair clip in just the right place, ready to be grabbed in a moment's notice.

She had learned decades ago how to put the small weapon in her hair in the best way. So that when the time came, she wouldn't lose any hair upon its use. She winced at the memories of her younger self, drawing forth her battle axe, and losing an unsightly amount of hair length in the process. Looking back, all she could do was laugh.

Finally she grabbed her tasuko and tied back her sleeves so she could eat breakfast. This routine had been in place ever since she could remember. Some days are more rushed than most.

But it was a good way to start the day, giving her mind and body a chance to wake up and get moving.

A bowl of fish and rice was waiting for her, alongside a single flower. Inuyasha had taken to leaving her breakfast whenever he could, always leaving a small gift next to it. Today it was a flower, other days, a fruit, or even a feather, he said it would just be something to make her think of him until he returned.

She had always laughed it off, until her mother recognized that he kept leaving a red camellia flower. A symbol for love.

Of course the kitsune still didn't think much of the gesture, assuming he just grabbed the first plant he could find. But one day she realized there were no plants of that type in her village. You had to venture a ways into the forest where there was a small patch of them hidden in a small clearing.

She asked him once, how he knew different meanings of flowers- and he told a story about how his mother was educated in a noble family. What she had learned she had passed to him, since he too was of noble birth from both parents. The great dog lord being one….

She remembered how he talked about his upbringing, as well as the snide remarks he made after the "nobility" claim. Considering the life he lived, she knew his schooling was probably the only thing that separated him from a commoner's experience.

Well... it definitely worked.

She was thinking about him.

After scarfing down her breakfast Sinha was cleaning her bowl when her stomach spun.

She turned quickly to look around her, feeling uneasy.

She waited, and listened.

Hearing nothing out of the ordinary- she turned her ears to the outside.

Even nature was still milling about, not a hint of danger.

She rubbed her arms, feeling the uneasiness again and her youkai scratched at her chest, frantic to break into a run.

She looked around again and pulled her Hana Ono free, feeling its weight as the pin grew into a Sinha sized dual blade axe.

The Silver blades were connected by a wooden handle, embellished with flowers down the staff to a golden inlay with jewels at the bottom.

It was Sinha's primary weapon. It focused her fox magic into powerful attacks when needed, and the dual blades allowed for maximum use of her energy, since she was smaller in frame than most full blood demons.

Not to mention she usually ran out of energy before them as well, so making the most of every movement was crucial for her in battle.

Her inner youkai continued to scratch and spit, building a ball of energy within her chest.

But she couldn't sense any danger! What was going on!

She took a breath and stepped outside, feeling around for the source of her distress. A strong wind blew from the East, warming her skin.

Faintly, she could feel an aura of a powerful demon….but where was it coming from….

She shook her head, not believing what she could feel.

Now there were two…..her eyes widened as she shrank her Ono down to size. She took off running towards the East, her youkai filling her with the energy needed for the trip.

She would recognize Inuyasha's demonic energy from anywhere. And for some reason, he was fighting, and a strong opponent at that.

Thoughts raced through her head, wondering what happened for him to be dueling so early in the morning, especially when he was supposed to be clearing things up with Kagome.

Had something happened to her!?

A pang of guilt dripped down her throat, causing her to swallow harshly as she ran. She came upon the road that connected the two villages, and she continued to run. It would be a few hours before she could arrive..but her drive continued, as her eyes tinged gold and a brown streak tinted her cheeks.

If she was going to go, she would be ready for a fight. Whatever the day held, she would be ready to face it head on.

It was late afternoon, and Kagome was watching the open flames contentedly- listening to the quiet happy cries from Ayame's son.

Koichi was a beautiful child. Pale skin like his mother, with soft gray hair atop his head, he looked like a living doll.

They look beautiful from birth! She smoldered to herself.

She rolled her eyes at the dumb thoughts she was having and smiled before looking towards the creature making the soft noises.

He was almost asleep and Ginta was cradling the child while Ayame leaned against him. The couple looked lost in their own world.

A world surrounded by wolves, fur, and other demons. Yet at the same time, it seemed to be only them.

It was peculiar. But den-life was starting to make sense to Kagome.

There was a sense of togetherness at all times, which honestly felt really secure, but at the same time, you could be left to your own thoughts.

Like she and Sango were currently doing.

As she thought of her best friend she looked next to her and could see the slayer's brow furrowed deep in thought.

"So….what are you thinking?" she finally asked.

Sango blinked and shook her head. Turning away from her she sighed- giving her attention back to the small fire.

Shrugging her shoulders in defeat, she drew her knees closer to her chin.

"I don't know Kagome. I never imagined we would have secrets between us. I have never felt so… betrayed before…"

Puckering her lips she buried her face in her knees.

"Is that stupid? I am a grown woman, I shouldn't let this get to me as much as it is."

The miko pondered on her response as Sango kept her face hidden. Kagome knew too well what she meant.

Only Kagome wasn't sure she was in a position to give honest….or good...advice.

Considering her own issues at hand.

It was then that Ayame spoke.

"Look- ...both of you."

She shifted away from Ginta.

"Lies hurt. They hurt more when they come from a friend, and even more from a lover."

Sango lifted her head and the two women locked onto the she-wolf.

"I do know- that you guys are dealing with this in the best way you can. Honestly most humans would do much worse ...with much less."

"The good thing is- Miroku is sorry, and I'm sure he had his reasons, although-" she rolled her eyes- "they may not be truly good reasons."

"Males make mistakes. Especially when it comes to defending their brothers. But it doesn't mean it was right."

"I know however you choose to move forward- will be the best thing for you and Miroku." she finished, pointedly looking at Sango.

Kagome nodded and looked to her demon slayer friend in agreement.

"As for you-"

Kagome blanched as the attention shifted to her.

"Yours' is going to be the most interesting. But- you have us to bounce your thoughts off of. So don't keep it bottled up." She smirked.

"You can and should tell us everything you're struggling with. Not to mention I am DYING to know why you are covered in Kouga's scent."

Kagome jerked at the sudden mention of her smell.

DAMN! I was sure the bath worked!

There was a large laugh from behind the group as Kouga approached them.

"Ha! Some things are better left as a secret." his baritone voice chided.

"After all, dirty secrets make things exciting, don't you agree Kagome?" his fanged smile filled her vision.

She covered her face with both of her hands, mortified at the turn in the conversation.

He came to stand next to the distressed woman of his.

"I was actually coming to ask you, would you like to go for a walk before the moon rises?"

Kagome nodded from behind her hands, in all honesty anxious to be alone with him again...and to no longer be the point of conversation.

Sango stood alongside her friend and gave her a hug.

"In case we don't see each other until morning, I just want to say thanks for being you. Even though there is….well, so much going on, you continue to amaze me."

Kagome froze, surprised at the sudden confession from her friend. All she could do was nod and smile.

She felt Kouga grip her hand lightly- pulling her gently from the others. Finally she turned and joined him at his side.

Sinha had run for about 2 hours before she was finally able to calm her youkai enough to set a steady pace. It surprised her the distance she had traveled in such a short time.

The demonic auras from before had dissipated, and both Inuyasha and the other demon seemed to disperse just as quickly as they had started.

She almost turned back half way, feeling foolish for worrying. But...she was already close by….so why not finish the trip?

If Inuyasha was busy she would just stay a safe distance until he could come to her. Who knows, she might even be able to interact with some of his friends.

She had only met Miroku a few times, and each visit was so short it was hardly worth mentioning.

Though he seemed to be understanding of their relationship from the start.

She approached the village and slowed to a walk. Stopping briefly she fixed her appearance, calming her kimono and loosening her tasuko. After patting a few fly away hairs back into place, she again began to walk.

She felt uneasy as she approached, knowing that most villages were wary of demons and half demons, but to her surprise, no one gave her an angry look. Most just nodded and watched from a distance. But no one appeared dangerous.

She made it through the village center and was walking down a hill overlooking the fields when she smelled him in the wind.

Her nose turned into it, following it's path to the tree line. She couldn't quite see him, but he had to be there. She just knew it.

As she walked she passed another familiar scent. Looking around she saw the monk nearby tending to a garden. Two small children were around him as he worked.

He seemed to pay her no mind as she passed and Sinha made a mental note of where he lived.

After walking a hundred meters into the trees she came upon a clearing, with a well in the center.

She suddenly knew where to find Inuyasha.

Turning quickly she walked a familiar path towards the very first place they met.

Just as she thought, she came across the dog demon in the familiar spot. This time standing, with his arms limp at his side.

He was staring at the grand tree and she wondered if he was too lost in thought to notice her.

Just like the last time….

She shifted her weight from foot to foot as she waited for him to acknowledge her. She watched as the sun filtered through the leaves, bouncing off his pristine hair as he stayed put, his back turned to her.

Finally she took a deep breath.

She noticed as his ears perked towards her.

"Hey…" was all she said.

He turned, golden eyes landing on hers. They filled her soul with warmth as he locked onto her. He smirked as he walked towards her pulling her to him.

"Hey." was all he said back.

He nuzzled her cheek and squeezed her tightly. Burying his face into her neck.

She wasn't sure how long he held her like that, but she knew he needed it.

She could feel the sadness rolling off of him. Trilling along her skin, the chills slowed her frantic heart.

Her natural response to being close to the man she cared for- changing as his pain radiated into her.

Finally he pulled away and sighed.

"I messed up... " was all he said, looking down at the ground.

"You were right, about not being able to trust me with my emotions." he continued to stare at the ground.

Sinha's tail flicked with the unexpected comment.

"Hmm… well…. Let's talk about it?" she tilted her head, encouraging him to look up at her.

She could see tears dropping to the ground.

"Is it wrong to want both of you in my life? Am I wrong for wanting her around- as a friend? Why did I act that way?!" He clenched his fists.

Sinhah stood awkwardly at his side as he spoke. Not sure of how she could help.

She watched him for a moment as he wallowed in his sadness.

She wrapped her arms around him again.

"Look….I knew what I was getting into when I decided to be with you. I know you still have a lot to process. But we have time to figure out our relationship.

…you need to use this time to focus on what's left for you and Kagome."

Inuyasha flinched at the unwelcome meaning to her words.

Great… Now I feel worse… his thoughts tormented him.

He could feel the dark hole opening up in his chest. The same emotion he felt after losing Kikyo filled his body.

He panicked, not wanting to relive that emotion so soon.

Reaching for Sinha he crushed her to him, needing to feel the warmth only she could give. To feel the quiet in his mind that only her presence seemed to bring.

She kissed his cheek and gave a knowing touch.

"Where are you staying?" she asked as she ran her hand through his smooth locks.

"We can talk there…" she continued.

He nodded, grabbing her hand. The two began to walk towards the clearing hand in hand.

"We should probably go to Miroku's place. I can fill you both in at the same time…" he murmured.

Sinha nodded, gripping his hand firmly.

"Lead the way.."

...

The pair approached the home of the monk and Sinha was filled in on the explosive entrance he encountered earlier that morning.

Accounting for the anger his dear friend had thrown at him, as well as the problem that arose after Sango realized Miroku had known about Sinha. Not that she was a secret. It was just never the right time... So he said.

For being in hot water, the monk seemed to be holding up ok, inviting the pair into his home, sending the kids with a girl named Rin so they could talk.

Inuyasha chose to stand as Miroku offered them a seat around the mat.

"So it felt like you ran into them…." Miroku began, implying the demonic auras he felt a few hours earlier.

"More like Kouga ran into my claws…." Inuyasha sneered.

Miroku only nodded.

"Sango took off after you…. Did she make it over there?" he asked.

Inuyasha nodded. "Yea, she probably stayed with Kagome, I imagine she might stay the night with her...all things considered…" he added after realizing what Miroku was asking.

Damn… she didn't come back yet… he caught Sinha's eyes before turning back to his friend.

"You know how those two are. Plus she knows you have Rin to help. I'm sure she will come back in the morning." he finished.

Nodding Miroku sipped his tea.

Looking up at his friends he smiled as he finally acknowledged Sinha.

"Forgive me Sinha, how are you? What brings you this way?" he asked.

A blush filled her cheeks. "Oh! Uh yea, well, like you said, demonic auras… plus my natural worry for Inuyasha…" she fumbled with her fingers as she spoke. Embarrassed to admit her brash decision outloud.

"I was worried that something might have happened to Kagome, which made Inuyasha's demonic aura come out. And before I knew it, I was running this way…."

It was Inuyasha's turn to blush as his mind filled with the angry possessive thoughts that had sprung forth at the mention of the Wolf Demon being with Kagome.

The pair were a sight to see. Miroku thought it comical how the two half demons looked. Flushed faces… different, but similar.

"Well it is quite the predicament. I agree." he knowingly responded.

"So did Kouga get any hits in? I wouldn't think the clan leader would miss an opportunity to tear into your skin." Miroku chuckled.

He saw Inuyasha's ears dip back. "N-nah, " he stammered quickly, glancing at Sinha.

"I mean he got a few hits in, but nothing that hasn't healed yet…" he turned his back to them, crossing his arms.

Sinha turned her head. She sniffed the air.

"Well it smells like you still have an open wound…." she stood to grab his robe.

"Come on, let's see it."

She was dumbstruck that she had not asked to see it sooner, she could help heal it.

Considering he was only a half demon like herself, she knew some wounds would take a while to heal, but considering he was here in front of her, she knew it couldn't be too bad….

She was wrong.

He opened his fire rat robe to reveal a drenched under cloth, his white obi moist with the fresh blood.

A large gash was at the beginning of healing. Moist to the touch, and right in the center of his rib.

Inuyasha looked away, his ears folded back as she looked him over.

"I thought Kouga was your friend…." Sinha asked.

Her blood began to boil as she looked at the wound.

"Well…. I'm not sure if I want him as one." he responded curtly.

The protectiveness over her chosen mate flared from inside her.

Gold tinged her eyes and a brown streak began to slide along her cheeks.

She gripped his robe strongly.

"Inuyahsa..." her growl filled his ears.

"That fool will pay for hurting you."

He met her gaze, a pang of lust filtered through him as he recognized the possessiveness emanating from her.

Damn she's hot…

He thought to himself.

She released him and walked outside of the home.

It took a moment for the hanyou to realize what she had said.

"Uh… Inuyasha… is she...is she going to track down Kouga?" he heard Miroku ask.

Shaking away the buzzing feeling, Inuyasha realized that indeed her aura was walking away from where they were…

Ah hell…

"Ugh!"

"Wish me luck Monk…"

Inuyasha re-tied his robes, and followed the kitsune out the door.

Miroku shook his head. Pressing his fingers to his temple.

This is too much even for me to follow. This is between Kagome and Inuyasha.. And now… somehow… all of us are involved….

He continued processing the day's events on his walk to retrieve the girls.

His own chest stinging as he remembered the hurt in Sango's eyes.

I messed up. Kami how am I going to fix this one?

...

Kouga tugged Kagome along. Pulling her into his chest again, nuzzling her hair.

He had stopped multiple times along their walk just to hold her like this.

He heard a soft giggle as she melted herself against him. She hadn't complained even once yet, only encouraging the wolf to continue nuzzling her.

"Kagome… I'm so… happy right now." he bared a toothy grin to the miko in his arms.

Bright eyes looking up at him captured his gaze. She raised her palm to his cheek and lovingly stroked his face.

She raised herself onto her tiptoes and pulled him into a kiss.

Damn if he didn't love when she took charge!

His hands moved down her body feeling her respond to his touch, smelling her heat rolling off of her in waves.

Kagome pulled away, leaving him speechless. She smiled demurely and nodded for them to continue their walk.

"I'm pretty content as well, you know." she said. A lightness in her voice. He had not heard a carefree tone from her in a long time.

It was a wonderful thing to listen to. He vowed he would try to hear it as much as possible. He followed her with his eyes as she walked. Adjusting her bow over her shoulder.

She had brought her weapon along- "Just in case" she said.

He loved her ability to be ready at a moment's notice if needed. It took skill for a warrior to survive in battle as she has in the past.

He thought back to their first battle together, their last, and then...he pondered the future.

Kagome realized her talkative wolf had fallen surprisingly silent after their embrace.

She turned to see what had stolen his words when she realized he was looking at her ….his eyes filled with warmth she had seen before, but never understood its depth.

That is- until now.

She once assumed that she could only feel love and warmth from Inuyasha. Not knowing that their love was...different.

Different

That was the best way to explain what she was feeling for Kouga. Love-if she was ready to call it that- with him was easy, it was warm, it was secure. No guilt. She could be herself with him…

I wonder… if this is what Inuyasha found in Sinha.

She shook her head, silencing the thoughts before they could take over. She was NOT going to think about that again today.

She just wanted to enjoy this time with Kouga. She went back up to the wolf and kissed his cheek.

She saw his tail swish and he growled softly in contentment.

Suddenly he stiffened.

A clawed hand wrapping around her arm he pulled her to him and jumped back, shielding her from blue flames that came close to singing his fur.

"Kagome, are you ok?!" he asked as he looked her over.

"Yea I'm fine!" she declared, pulling her bow from her side.

Turning to their surroundings the two stood side by side, looking for where the flames came from.

A woman stood before them, clothed in a green and pink floral kimono.

Not a woman… a Hanyou!

Kagome had a look of confusion at the demon in front of them.

Eyes tinged in gold, she felt a familiar shiver run down her spine.

"KOUGA." the woman yelled.

"You're gonna pay for hurting him!" she roared. A battle axe appeared out of thin air. Kagome could barely register the demon's words before she charged again, towards Kouga.

He jumped and avoided her attack, pushing Kagome out of the way at the same time.

"Kouga!" Kagome cried after him.

"What's going on!?"

"Hell if I know!" he responded. The hanyou took another swing at him, landing a blow too close for Kagome's comfort.

"Hey! Stop!" she yelled towards the woman, grabbing for her arrows.

Ignoring her words the girl launched another attack at Kouga, slashing his arm in the process.

Kagome pulled back on her bow, pooling her energy into her chest.

Kouga!

Her mind pleaded for him to be safe as she wove the purified energy through her finger tips and into the arrow drawn tight.

She loosed her arrow, purified energy soaring straight for the demon's open backside.

The girl was so focused on her attack she was careless with her defense.

She has no fighting awareness… was the only thought that filled Kagome's mind as she watched her arrow soar.

"Kagome No! Sinha!" came a familiar roar.

A red blur intercepted her arrow and there was a flash of light.

A silence fell over the grounds as Kagome realized what had happened.

Tessaiga shrank in size before them, having deflected Kagome's purification arrow.

The demon girl stared at Inuyasha in surprise, her shoulders drooping as her energy dispersed in the commotion.

Kagome watched as the silver-haired hanyou wrapped the demoness in his arms, speaking words of distress to her.

A ringing filled Kagome's ears as the pieces clicked together.

Kouga raced towards Kagome, and whimpered at the broken look on her face as he approached.

"K-Kagome?" he called to her.

His voice pierced the ringing- a fuzzy recognition of her name falling from his lips.

She turned and looked into his blue eyes.

Inhumanly blue.

She stared into his eyes and felt warmth. She inhaled quickly as she snapped back to the now.

Kouga's hands held her free one, softly running a thumb along her fingers, coaxing her to relax.

"Looks like we know why I was attacked now…" he said solemnly.

Kagome could only nod. She closed her eyes and stepped into Kouga's chest. Dropping her bow to wrap her arms around him.

"I was so scared you would get hurt…" she muttered against his skin.

"Hmp- you know I'm stronger than that…. I just didn't want to hurt the poor girl without knowing why she attacked." he responded. He quietly thought back to Ayame.

She forced a laugh thinking the same thing and stepped away.

"Ughhhhh… I don't want to do this yet…" she muttered.

"I'm right here. Just say the word and I'll take you somewhere and help you forget this ever happened…" he winked at her as he spoke.

Swatting his arm she finally peaked around him, only to see Inuyasha standing in front of the girl, the two waiting for them to acknowledge their presence.

Kagome could feel the girl's aura diminished but still inflamed.

"You must not be able to understand plain Japanese huh Inuyasha." Kagome spat out.

His ears folded back and the girl's eyes flashed gold.

"Watch how you speak to him!" Sinha yelled.

Inuyasha cringed and groaned at the words.

Sinha looked at him with confusion.

"What the hell Mutt." Kouga spoke.

"First you're possessive over Kagome and now you're protective over this kitsune! What the hell is your deal today!" he declared angrily.

"And why is she after me? What did you need back-up after getting your ass handed to you earlier?" he taunted.

"Shut up you jerk! You're supposed to be his friend and yet you hurt him!" Sinha cried out.

Kagome stood to the side listening to the girl rant.

Her eyes narrowed on Inuyasha.

She connected the dots and couldn't help but laugh.

"Hahahahahaha-aare you serious!" she laughed.

"You two really make a pair, only seeing what you want to see huh?" she continued.

"Did Inuyasha TELL you why there was a fight this morning? Did he fill you in on the ridiculous behavior, the audacity he had in claiming me from Kouga?!" she continued, her voice increasing in volume as she went.

"Kouga has done nothing but be there for me! And both of you attack him."

"What the fuck!" she screamed in frustration.

"What do you want anyways! Why are you here! If it's to attack Kouga, think again, because I WILL make sure you don't lay a finger on him." she could feel her anger rising. Her vision was blurring and a familiar voice filled her head.

Sinha was confused. She was embarrassed- if what Kagome was saying held any merit, then she needed to hear the full story. But no way was she going to be talked down to like this.

She bit her tongue, her mother would never approve of a senseless fight between them. Not to mention she was Inuyasha's friend. She pondered Kagome's words when she felt a huge power fill their surroundings.

Kouga jumped away from Kagome, grunting in pain as purple sparks bounced around them.

Purple light filled the evening air and Inuyasha stepped in front of Sinha to block the winds blowing towards them.

Inuyasha couldn't believe how things had happened so quickly. His heart almost stopped when he saw Kagome fire an arrow at Sinha. Relief flooded him when he was able to block it with his Tessaiga. But now- the two women were off to a rough start… if this kept up, they would never be friends, and he could lose Kagome forever…

As he protected Sinha from Kagome's powers he felt a familiar tug in the back of his brain. A final push of wind clearing away the purple haze.

This seems familiar...

Before he could think more on this, he heard a voice from the past.

"Inuyasha. What are you doing?"

His eyes widened as he looked to where Kagome stood.

Her body was enveloped in a purple hue, but, in her place- it was Kikyo! He blinked and rubbed his eyes. No, it was Kagome, no it WAS Kikyo. Rather her image kept filtering and changing before his eyes.

"You don't think I'm going to let this go so easily do you?" Kikyo's voice asked.

"I only accepted my fate for Kagome. You will not break our bond."

He heard her words but couldn't speak.

He was too shocked.

A deep voice called out from beside him.

"What about Kagome! She doesn't want him anymore!" Kouga cried out to the dead priestess.

Kikyo..or..Kagome looked towards the wolf demon. Filtering between love and distaste, their eyes locked on the clan leader.

"We shall see." Kikyo's voice spoke.

A whisper of wind passed and it was over.

...

Kagome stood there, hand covering her mouth, not believing what had transpired.

She looked at the three people before her. A numbness taking over.

She was tired of feeling embarrassed.

She was tired of feeling angry at the situation she was in.

She just wanted to crawl into a hole.

She didn't know what was going on.

WHY IS KIKYO EVEN A THING RIGHT NOW! She was screaming to herself.

Inuyasha approached Kagome.

"Wh-what was that Kagome? Did you know that was going to happen?"

She glared at her so-called friend. Not willing to answer him.

Turning to Kouga she shook her head.

"Let's go home…" she spoke softly.

Kouga trotted over scooping her into his arms.

Sinha finally moved forward, pulling on Inuyasha's sleeve. Coercing him in the opposite direction.

Kagome felt a sting in her stomach at the scene before her.

Her vision was blurring as that damn voice filled her head again. "-he will choose me."

Pushing her to call Inuyasha to her.

She turned into Kouga's chest instead, squinting her eyes shut. Images of Inuyasha filling her brain, soft memories of their moments together. Pulling at her heart strings.

Crap!
