Gallivanting God

Chapter 5

Team's Seven, Eight and Ten had all been nominated for their participation in the Chunin Exams. Murmurs broke out from the Jonin and Chunin in attendance.

"Hey, all the new Rookies are participating this year…"

"How long's it been since that last happened...? I think it was five years ago?"

"Man, this year's gonna be interesting..."

The comments and conversations expanded and devolved into many different things, until one of the Chunin present decided to voice his complaints. The Chunin in question had tan skin and a scar running across his nose. This was none other than Umino Iruka, Academy Teacher of the nominated teams.

"T-that's preposterous!" Iruka started off, silencing all the conversation around him, a blush of embarrassment dusting his cheeks at having attracted the attention of the entire room like that. The Hokage looked towards Iruka, a curious light shining in his eye. It was no secret that Iruka was only this protective because of young Naruto.

"They're just fresh Genin, they've only been out the Academy for three months! They should be given more time to accumulate more experience and technique before this!" Iruka's expression turned into a heated glare that was directed at Kakashi. "Are you trying to crush their career before it's even begun!? Do you take some kind of satisfaction in all this?"

Kakashi cast his lone eye over Iruka. The Jonin knew that Iruka was really only concerned about Naruto, considering his performance in the Academy and how he graduated. Kakashi himself found it funny how overprotective Iruka was being. This was the Shinobi world, not the Civilian world.

"You know, by Naruto's age I was already a Chunin, Iruka." Kakashi briefly stated to the Chunin, enraging him further.

"Naruto is not you!" The teacher's temper exploded, and his face was positively red with rage. Kakashi couldn't help himself. Maybe Naruto was rubbing off on him.

"My team is always complaining about wanting more important and challenging missions. Maybe this will open their eyes. If it crushes them, so what? It's not like they're Konohas' only Genin?" The Jonin taunted the young Chunin, stunning him into silence. Kakashi tried his hardest not to smile, winding people up was too much fun. "Well, all jokes aside, I don't think you have to worry all too much Iruka."

This seemed to snap Iruka out of his stupor, his temper had simmered down a bit, but was still bubbling at the surface.

"How can you possibly say that? I taught those kids in the Academy! I know what they're capable of! They are not ready for these exams! After all, the Chunin Exams are also kno-"

"I can say it because I've been with them every day for the past 3 months, Chunin. I know you're worried. But you don't need to be. I can say with 100% certainty, Uzumaki Naruto would not lose to any Genin or Chunin." Kakashi interupted Iruka with a cold and straightforward tone.

That caused a reaction throughout everyone present. Even the Hokage couldn't stop his brows from trying to contact his hairline. Had Naruto really become that strong? Not that he would ever wish a detriment to the boy, but, for that young child to become that strong in just 3 months? It was either a testament to Kakashi's ability as a teacher, or, Naruto had the same astounding talent his late Father had.

Kurenai and Asuma could see Kakashi preparing to say something else, that could possibly upset the man further, which they didn't want to deal with.

"Hey, Kakashi, that's enough, don't say anymore." Kurenai tried to persuade the man unsuccessfully, as he immediately continued speaking after the red-eyed beauty finished.

"They are not your students anymore, Chunin. They are my soldiers." Kakashi levelled Iruka with the most serious gaze he could muster at that moment, further cementing the situation between them.

"Geez, this guy…" Sarutobi Asuma winced internally watching the scene playout in front of him. Before anything else could be spoken, The Third Hokage simply cleared his throat, everyone bringing their utmost attention to him again. Billowing smoke from his mouth, the man spoke with his patented calm voice.

"Now, with all of that settled, I will now make the formal announcement." Everyone in the room straightened up a little more at that. "In Seven days from now, on the first day of the 4th Moon, the Chunin Selection Exams will begin."

It was now the day after, and Kakashi had called his team together at their usual meeting spot. One of the many bridges that connected to the Training Grounds of Konoha. Yesterday, Naruto had displayed a small portion of the newfound power he had trained up over the past couple of months. He was fine with showing that much of his abilities, considering the Chunin Exams were coming up soon. Afterall, Naruto had resolved to show more of who he truly was during these exams.

As such today, Naruto donned his new outfit that he purchased a few months ago. On his upper body was a grey Kimono Top that stopped just above his knees. Over the top of this was a simple Haori that also went to the same length. The colour of the Haori was a deep red, save for the Black Uzumaki Clan symbol on the back of it. Underneath his Kimono was a pair of bandages that covered his abdomen. A simple burnt orange cloth was used to tie the kimono to his waist. For his lower body, the boy simply went with black pants that finished just below his knees, the rest of his legs down to his feet being covered by bandaging. For his feet; gone were the standard Issue blue sandals, and instead was a pair of simple sandals. The last addition to his outfit was a hefty Samsara Beaded Necklace.
The blonde looked like a completely different person, even the headband that was always on his forehead was tied around the teens left bicep. The shocked reactions from both Sakura and Sasuke made the blonde chuckle internally but otherwise kept himself relatively calm, aside from the shit-eating grin on his face. Joining up with his fellow Genin, the blonde greeted them with the mask of the Prankster King.

"Yo, Sakura-Chan, Sasuke!" That snapped them out of their stupor. The drastic change in his appearance shocked them until he spoke, bringing them back to normal. Sakura was the first to speak.

"Naruto, what's with that get up? Where's that horrendous jumpsuit you always wear? Not that I'm complaining about it being gone or anything!" The girl quickly added her approval for his change in outfit towards the end of question. Naruto grinned at the pinkette.

"I figured with these Chunin Exams coming around, I'd better get serious, ya know! And what better way to do that with some new threads!" Sasuke looked the blonde up and down. With that bulky jacket and pants gone, the Uchiha could see the increase in the blondes muscles mass. As well as the beginning of toned pectorals. Sakura also looked at the blonde, her inner-self evaluating him as someone who can stand toe-to-toe with Sasuke in terms of attractiveness. But the Sakura in control would never admit to that. Sasuke was God, and she read his Bible every day.

Before anything else could be shared between the three Genin, Kakashi appeared on one of the Torii Gates above the bridge. The Jonin saw the change in Naruto's appearance and could only question it. Was Naruto trying to become a monk or a samurai? Regardless of that, Kakashi quickly hopped down to his Genin. He was only five minutes late this time, so they wouldn't blow their fuse if Sakura's befuddled expression was anything to go by.

"Hello, my cute little students. I've got exciting news for you all today!" The steady monotone of his voice crushed of their expectations; it was probably another D-Rank. Kakashi reached into his pouch, rummaging around for a moment before producing three forms. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke all read the large font at the top.

"Chunin Selection Exam Registration Form."

"Congratulations you lot, I've signed you up for the Chunin Exams."

Immediately, Naruto jumped at Kakashi and wrapped his arms around his neck and started shouting.

"Yatta! I love you Kakashi-sensei! Woohoo!" Kakashi, embarrassed, quickly slipped out of the blonde's grip making him join back with the other Genin. The blonde settled down somewhat as the three Genin all held their forms.

"If you want to participate, come to the Academy six days from now at 4pm, and hand in the forms at Room 301. It's an individual choice so it doesn't matter all that much if all don't show up. Dismissed." Kakashi stood there whilst Sasuke walked away back to the Uchiha compound, with Sakura already following him trying to get a date. Naruto was the only one who stayed back. With all that Kakashi had done for him in the past couple of months, Naruto had really felt his bond with the man had deepened. What the blonde said before was not a lie. He did love Kakashi. The man was like family to him.
Naruto looked towards Kakashi, walking a little bit closer towards him. Quickly the blonde hugged Kakashi this time, trying his best to wrap his arms around his torso. As he hugged him, Kakashi was too shocked to do anything. The previous time, Kakashi was embarrassed because he wasn't all that comfortable with receiving or displaying affection publicly, and he was sure Naruto did it as a joke. But there was something inherently different in the sentiment this time. Kakashi did the only thing he could and put his hand on Naruto's hair, ruffling it slightly.

Naruto looked up to Kakashi, a sincere and honest smile and a light blush there too. Apparently, Naruto was also embarrassed a little about it too. The Jonin had never seen the blonde look that happy before.

"Thanks, Uncle Kakashi!" Naruto whispered that to the man before disappearing in a Shunshin. Kakashi stood there briefly for a moment before turning around and walking back to the village. If anyone saw the man, they would see he had the biggest smile of his life. Visible even through the mask.

It had been six days since they were told about the Chunin Exams. Sasuke and Naruto were waiting outside the Academy for Sakura to show. Naruto had been at the Academy for a while and had been using analyse on everyone who came in. Surprisingly, the blonde had only found the Suna Trio to be the real competition, everyone else was someone he could handle. Well aside from that weird guy with the bushy eyebrows, if it came down to pure physicals, the blonde was outclassed.

Soon enough, Sakura arrived, looking more dejected than when Sasuke shoots her down. Had she finally realised how unskilled she was? This was bad timing. They couldn't go into the exams with Sakura displaying all this weakness. That would paint her as an easy mark, which in turn would make Team 7 a target too. But Naruto had no idea how to make the girl feel better about herself. After all, he couldn't see anything good in her to give a compliment about.

Wordlessly, Team 7 went inside the academy building. Naruto was still trying to figure out how to cheer up Sakura all the while. He was so much in thought, that he didn't notice they stopped on the second floor, instead his body stopped when his teammates did, and he just thought the day away. Whilst he was lost in his thoughts, Sasuke made everyone aware of the fact the floor they were on was not the third floor and that there was at Genjutsu up. This in turn, led the Chunin's putting it up to attack Sasuke.

This sense of danger was what broke Naruto out of his thoughts in time to see the guy with the bushy brows catch both Sasuke's foot and the Chunin's kick at the same time. The blonde was absolutely bewildered, had he really been in his own train of thought for that long? Shaking his head, Naruto looked towards Sakura who looked entirely rid of her doubt. Clearly Sasuke spoke to her or something.

"And he acts like a loner when in reality he cares about his friends." Naruto smirked inwardly. Walking up behind Sasuke just in time to hear the guy talk about himself and wanting to fight Sasuke.

"I wish to fight you, Uchiha. To test my honed techniques against that reputed Ninja Clan known for producing Genius Shinobi."
Sasuke looked over the green-clad teen with an analytical eye.

"To know of the Uchiha name, and still challenge me? Has anyone ever told you that you're utterly naïve?" Naruto was the only who knew, that if these two fought, Sasuke would end up the loser. As such, an intervention was necessary. Finally making his presence known, Naruto stepped in between the two of them.

"Are you Uzumaki Naruto? Gai-sensei warned me to be wary of Kakashi-sensei's star pupil." Everyone on Team 7 looked at the teen in shock. "Since when was Naruto the star-pupil of Kakashi?" Those were the thoughts of Sakura and Sasuke. Whilst Naruto stared down the teen in front of him. Clearly, Kakashi must have said something to Might Gai.

"Yeah, that's me. However, I'm not like Sasuke. I'm not going to fight you, nor am I going to let my teammate get trounced by you before this exam can begin. You're not the only one with information on others, Rock Lee."

Naruto stared down Lee, who's eyes widened in surprise, alongside his teammates too. Well, for the Hyuga it was more of an inch of his eyelid going up.

"Oi! What the hell do you mean, Loser? There's no way I'd lose to this Bushy Brow freak." And of course, Sasuke just had to speak up. Naruto turned his head slightly, looking at the Uchiha out the corner of his eye.

"It's exactly what I said, unlike you who didn't do any recon on the people participating, I have. You're acting like more of a Martial Artist than a Shinobi, Sasuke. Now shut up and let's get moving, I don't want to miss the deadline." Looking at the clock to their right, they only had 30 minutes left before the 4pm time limit. Somehow, Sasuke didn't say anything more, Naruto's remark hit deeper than the Uchiha would care to admit.

Team 7 walked up the stairwell to head to the third floor. Just as they were about to reach Room 301, they recognised Kakashi standing just outside the room.

"Yo." Their Jonin-sensei greeted them, his eye never leaving his book of smut.

"What are you doing here, Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura queried her superior.

"Oh, just making sure you all showed up, and are ready for this." Kakashi's eyes hovered over Sakura as his sentence finished. Naruto got the message loud and clear. It was to see if they were coming for their own reasons rather than half-assed reasoning. Like, only doing the exams so they don't hold their teammates back even though the person in question doesn't believe they're ready. "Luckily, you all seem to be in a good headspace. If you weren't you would never have been allowed to take part in these exams."

That sent Naruto for a spin. If Sakura hadn't snapped out of her funk earlier, then they would have been stopped here and now. Thank God for whatever Sasuke said to her. The blonde stepped closer to his teacher and held out his fist.

"Don't worry, Kakashi-sensei! We'll blow the competition out the water! Just watch and see, ya know!"

Sakura and Sasuke agreed with Naruto's sentiment and nodded behind him. Kakashi smiled at all three of them.

"Alright then, off you go. Oh, and give me the forms." The three Genin walked past Kakashi, handing him their forms. Kakashi disappeared in a Shunshin leaving Team 7 to enter the exam room themselves.

Sakura and Sasuke both pushed a door each, revealing the inside of the room. Hundreds of Genin from all around littered the room. As soon as Team 7 entered, the others made to intimidate them with all their Killing Intent. Naruto laughed haughtily before calming down and then sending his own back. All his hate, and all his intentions to win this channelled into his Killing Intent. It was something Kakashi had taught him after the Wave mission.

His sensei had described Naruto's killing intent as "similar to Zabuza's." That was something Naruto took great pride in. His hate for the villagers fuelled his show of dominance. All the Genin except for Gaara trembled and broke out into a cold sweat as he oppressed them with his intention.

Then Naruto stopped it. They still had 25 minutes left until the exams were to begin. As such, Naruto was perfectly content with taking a seat and waiting the time out. Sasuke and Sakura were bewildered, when had Naruto learned to do that. It reminded them of when they met Zabuza, how was Naruto's killing intent that strong?

Taking a seat towards the back of the class, Naruto couldn't help but pat himself on the back. His earlier worries of other teams trying to pick on Team 7 for being weak were now avoided. Naruto had saw them all lose their will to fight when he had blasted them. Naruto had established himself and his team as apex hunters, and the rest of them were all sheep.

It took another 15 minutes for the rest of the examinees and the Konoha rookies to show up. And unfortunately, Ino had immediately searched for Sasuke, found and hugged him and was now giving Naruto a migraine from the volume of her fighting with Sakura. Her teammates, Shikamaru and Choji also moseyed on up. Naruto looked at the two newcomers with a mocking stare.

"Well if it isn't the Idiot Trio. Surprised you're here Shikamaru." The reason Naruto called them that was because, Shikamaru was lazy, as such his lack of drive earned him the idiot title. Choji was just a plain and simple fat idiot who only knew how to eat, and Ino was Sasuke-Crazy, in short, an idiot.

"Huh? Naruto? Geez you're here too? This is so troublesome…" The Nara put his hand on his neck whilst he look disgruntled. Apparently without the jumpsuit it took people a while to find Naruto.

"You're such a lazy bum Shikamaru." Naruto laughed at him whilst almost made Shikamaru blow his top. The only thing that stopped him was Team 8 also coming up to the table. And of course, the loudmouth Inuzuka Kiba was here too.

"I knew I could hear you, but just couldn't see. So, you were here Loser, what's with the change in clothes? Trying to show you're more of a laughingstock than before?" Naruto didn't rise to the taunt, maybe if he was in full Prankster King mode, but this was the Chunin Exams, and this was part of him merging aspects of himself into the mask. The blonde promptly ignored Kiba and looked to his teammates behind him.

"Hey, Shino, Hinata. How you guys been since graduating? You must be one hell of a Shinobi already Shino, ya know! You as well Hinata!" The Aburame had been surprised, this was one of the first times in recent memory that someone outside his family and team had taken notice of him and talked to him. Hinata blushed a bright red and squeaked out a "Thank you".

Whilst Shino collected himself immediately after.

"I thank you for your compliments, Naruto. I must admit, I am surprised, I feel like you have also become stronger too. Why? Because you seem entirely different from the last time we met."

Naruto grinned at the Aburame Ninja.

"That's cause I am. If we fight at any point in these exams, I'll show it to ya first-hand, ya know!"
Shino nodded towards the blonde before Kiba burst out in laughter. The smile drained from Naruto's face as soon as he heard Kiba. The blonde never let on about it, but he despised Kiba. It wasn't anything the Inuzuka did to him. It was just his attitude and the way he carried himself.

"Sure, you've gotten stronger Loser! That's like saying Sakura and Ino finally went out on a date with Sasuke!" The two girls in question stopped their arguing to glare at the Dog boy. Kiba then looked towards Sasuke, completely overlooking and underestimating Naruto. The blonde was fine with that. The Jinchuriki hoped that later in the exams, he could beat Kiba's flea ridden ass.

"And you Sasuke! Don't think you're the head honcho anymore! I'll wipe the floor with you!" Kiba pointed at the Lone Uchiha with a challenging glare. Sasuke looked at him and smirked.

"Oh you will, will you Kiba? And what makes you think you could beat me now, if you never stood a chance in the academy?" Before the Inuzuka could escalate it any further. Naruto looked to their left and spotted another Leaf Genin approaching them. His large, black-rimmed glasses and his high-neck top made him look weak, but Naruto knew better than that. This guy didn't know Naruto had analysed him earlier, nor did he know Naruto was a sensor. All of his stats were easily on the level of Kakashi's aside from his HP which was lower.

"This guy gives me a bad feeling." Naruto couldn't help but feel there was something about this Genin he didn't like.

"I think you all should keep it down a bit, you're attracting too much attention." The rest of the rookie's turned towards the bespectacled stranger. Some of them wanted to know who this guy was, others were curious about what he had to say.

"Too much attention? Are you an idiot as well as needing glasses? I scared the daylights out of everyone here when I came in." Naruto stared down the strange silver haired Genin. This guy must have come in after Naruto's stunt for him to say that. True to his words, the rest of the rookies looked away from Team 7 to the other Genin attending the exam, they were keeping a wide berth.

"Well, I guess you're not just all hot air then." The Genin added before coming up to the rest of the group. Sakura came up behind Naruto and tried to smack him on the back of the head.

"Show some respect Naruto! This guy has clearly been at this exam before! He's a Senpai so respect him like one!" Sakura had always tried to get Naruto to show more respect for people. It was something that the Jinchuriki hated the most about her. Why should he have to show them respect when they would treat him without it immediately.

Naruto simply moved his head out the way of her hand, making her miss. Naruto levelled her with a cold stare.
"Try to hit me again, and I'll break your wrist, Sakura." That one sentence cause silence to spread amongst the rookies again. It was known to all of them that Naruto had a crush on Sakura. Or at least he did have a crush on her. Naruto looked back towards the glasses wearing Genin.

"Now, what was it you came here to speak about?" The Purple-clad Genin was glad the attention was brought back to him.

"Well, like your teammate said, I've taken these exams before. Several times in fact. There's a lot of recurring faces here too. But more importantly, as Rookie Genins you guys don't know what this Exam's real purpose is do you?"

Naruto scrutinised the man in front of him. Things weren't adding up. This guy was easily on par or somewhere close to Kakashi's level. So how could he have failed multiple times. There's no way the exams are that tough. Ino who was now back with her team took this time to ask a question.

"What do you mean? Isn't it to improve relations and the quality of each nation's Shinobi?" Many of the others nodded along with her, that was what they had heard in the academy. The bespectacled Genin smiled towards her with gratitude.

"Whilst that is what told to all Genins; the real purpose of this exam is something else." The Genin extracted a hefty deck of cards from his pouch and sat them down on the floor in front of him. They were all blank cards, which everyone took note of.

"Huh? Why you got a deck of Blank cards man?" Kiba questioned with confusion evident.

"Hmm? Oh! These are my very own Ninja Info cards! Because of how many times I've taken these exams, I collect data on the participants. However, not just anyone can access these. They're coded to my chakra, so only I can see the info on them. Here I'll demonstrate."

Without a word, the Genin made an extravagant draw, taking one card into his hand before setting it down on the wooden flooring. He placed his right hand's middle finger on the card. His left hand made a half Ram Seal, channelling Chakra into it. This caused the previously blank card to flutter to life, displaying a map of the Land of Fire and Land of Wind, alongside the other neighbouring minor nations with green graphs sticking up from them. Below the map was a counter with each countries Shinobi symbol on it.

"As you can see, there's a lot of Shinobi here. From many different countries who all have their own interests at heart. This exam's real purpose is actually to keep the delicate Power Balance of the Five Great Shinobi nations. It is to monitor the strength of upcoming Shinobi in other countries."

This threw everyone except for Shino, Shikamaru, Sasuke and Naruto for a loop. Naruto and Sasuke had taken looking underneath the underneath to their hearts. Whist Shino and Shikamaru were of a higher intelligence and deduced that much by themselves.

"Even lesser nations like The Hidden Sound Village, have sent their Genin hopefuls in, to see what's going on outside." Naruto sensed the Chakra stir in the three from the Hidden Sound. Why necessarily pick out The Sound? Sure, they had only formed in the last few years, but even the Hidden Waterfall had only sent 9 Genin according to this guy's data.

"Why am I so paranoid about this guy?" Naruto wondered to himself. Apparently, Sasuke had been paying rapt attention to this guy, the Jinchuriki noticed this because the Uchiha Heir had been quiet the whole time. Not unusual, but his gaze kept going back to the rest of the deck of cards. So, he was finally interested in information.

"You, what's your name?" Sasuke bluntly interrogated him.

"Oh? Did I not say already? I'm Yakushi Kabuto."

"Alright then, Kabuto, enough chit-chat, you said those cards had information on participants, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did. I have information on everyone here for the most part. It may not be entirely filled out because of some new faces this year, but the information is there."

"Do you have detailed information on individuals too?" Sasuke's eyes narrowed, trying to get across his point of this being critical.

"Yes, I do. Just give me any information about them and I'll bring it up for you" Kabuto replied simply with a smile.

"Good. Show me the information for Rock Lee of Konoha and Gaara of the Desert from Suna."

"Oh, you know their names too? That makes it a lot easier, give me a second." With another extravagant swipe at his deck, two cards were now in between his fingers, setting one down over the map, Kabuto poured chakra into it as it began to spin.

Before long, the picture of Rock Lee appeared, along with his squad information, mission details and a chart of his shinobi skills.

"Rock Lee, he's a year older than you lot, his mission experience is 11 C-ranks and 20 D-Ranks. His squad leader is Might Gai. In the past year, his skill in Taijutsu has had an explosive increase… but his other skills are lacklustre. He attracted attention last year because of his talent, but ultimately didn't take the exams. Like you guys, this is his first time taking the exams. Finally, his teammates are Tenten and Hyuga Neji."

Sasuke looked at the information on the card, the guys chart said his Taijutsu was really good, but The Last Uchiha couldn't see how that made him better than himself. What gave Naruto the confidence to say that? His fists tightened at his side. What had Naruto been doing the past couple of days, possibly weeks to know this kind of stuff beforehand. During Sasuke's thoughts, Kabuto deftly placed Gaara's card on top of Lee's and put chakra into it revealing the information.

"Next is Gaara of the Desert. His mission history is 8 C-Ranks, 1 B-Rank, oh wow, 1 A-Rank mission even though he is only a Genin… Um, moving on, Since he's a newcomer to the exams and from a foreign country, I don't have much info but, it seems he has returned from all his missions unscathed."

That information sent everyone into a tense silence. It was only Naruto who wasn't particularly surprised about it, he had seen the guys stats with analyse. He thought he'd help his fellow Konoha nin out.

"He's got about as much Chakra as a Jonin, pretty good control over it too." Everyone looked towards Naruto, some a little surprised that the blonde knew that. However, none were as surprised as the trio from Sand. Gaara's eyes had widened as far as they could whilst Kankuro and Temari eyed Naruto with suspicion.

"Also, Uzumaki Naruto from The Hidden Leaf Village." Sasuke added. This was something that surprised Naruto. But it was also a good opportunity to see if the bad feeling the Jinchuriki got from Kabuto was to be trusted.

"Even your own teammate isn't spared, hah!" Kabuto quickly extracted another blank card before setting it down over Gaaras'. When the Chakra was channelled into it, Naruto's information was quickly brought up. Naruto looked over the information faster than anyone else could – Thanks to his Fast Reader Attribute - to see if there was anything there that wasn't supposed to be. Unsurprisingly, none of his new strengths had gotten out.

"Uzumaki Naruto of Konoha. His mission history is, wow, 684 D-Rank Missions and 1 A-Rank Mission. He did have one other mission there, but that information was classified. Naruto shows to have a lot of Chakra. And he even knows the Kinjutsu; The Shadow Clone Jutsu. A jutsu known to be deadly to the user unless they have lots of Chakra. Aside from his high Chakra, he has shown no other above average skills. His squad Leader is Hatake Kakashi, and his teammates are Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke."

So this guy also got his info from the official Shinobi Records. Naruto saw Kiba was about to open his mouth to say something. And he would have said something, had Naruto not moved to intercept an attack from one of the Hidden Sound.

"This'll teach you not to take the Hidden Sound lightly!" The bandaged Genin said as he swung his arm. Naruto noticed it vibrate violently. Whatever was going to come from that was setting of his Danger Sense Skill. Kicking himself into gear, Naruto moved faster than the Genin coming could react. The blonde landed over the Genin and aimed a strong kick onto his temple, disabling the attacker instantly. The Genin crumpled to the ground in front of Naruto, unconscious.

"I guess they really take after their Village. I can't hear a single sound from him." Naruto spoke in a controlled tone as he looked over the other sound Genin with cold and calculating eyes. "I can arrange the same for you two as well if you feel up to it."

Before anything else could be said, the front of the classroom was surrounded in smoke, and a strong flood of Killing Intent dosed the room. When the smoke cleared, a middle-aged man riddled with scars stood in front of the class.

"Alright you gnats! Enough of the fighting! Anymore and I'll disqualify you from the Exams here and now!" With that said, Naruto kicked the Sound Ninja in the side to wake him up. He was confused at first. As soon he noticed the proctor now in front, the Genin was already back with his team. The man in black, looked over each Genin with a penetrating gaze.

"Listen up, my name is Morino Ibiki, and welcome to the first stage of the Chunin Exams, Gnats."

AN: I'm really getting into this now, The Chunin Exams will be a big catalyst in this fic. A lot will change. That's really all I'll tell you about it.

I really have to say this though. Stop giving me suggestions, about anything to do with this story. If you have a suggestion, CREATE YOUR OWN STORY. It's not hard, all you have to do is start typing!

To that one guy who asked about Naruto forgetting about the Memory Transfer thing. You clearly don't pay enough attention to the story. By that point, when Kakashi was teaching him the Lightning Chakra stuff and the secret to the Shadow Clones. Naruto had already mastered the Lightning Chakra training. But, Naruto erects the mask of the unintelligent prankster king. The Naruto who is famed for having no brain can't suddenly be like "oh lol kakashi bro already done that, hurr durr." He pretends to not know anything about it, it's the same with the Lightning Release training.

And this is for that guy who asked about the pairing. I'll say this here and now, there will be no Harem, nor will Naruto get with Hinata.
NaruHina was what got me into Naruto fanfiction, but I am perfectly fine with having him end up with someone else. The only thing I will say is, Naruto will not have a solid relationship for a while, like a long while. He will have sex tho, lots and lots of it. He's a healthy young man. (This will not devolve into a lemon fic)

Lastly, the guy asking about Sakura. Did you read or even watch the Naruto series? Sakura literally does not improve from when she leaves the Academy until the beginning of the Time Skip. You are very hostile towards Sakura. I personally don't mind her, except her Part 1 self. Her Character Development starts in the Forest of Death when she decides to cut her hair. That is when she herself finally resolves to make a change. I don't see the need to take away from that moment, so I will stick to it. I plan to fully develop her into a Shinobi greater than Tsunade ever could have been.

Hope you enjoyed, don't care for reviews, thanks for reading.

Adios.
