Callie POV:

"Mark, I'm sorry can't make it tonight."

"Come on Cal, it's bowling night. Everyone's gonna be there."

Looking down at all the stacks of paperwork that I need to finish, I know I won't be able to make it.

"Look, I have a lot of cases I need to sort through. I don't want to say I'll be there and I don't show up."

"I understand, just looking out for you that's all."

"If I can make it I'll be there, just don't hold your breath alright."

"Fair enough." Mark says standing up from the chair across my desk. "I have a few more cases to look at and I'll be heading out."

"See you later Sloan."

Arizona POV.

I haven't really seen Callie since her event and that was about a month ago. I've been so busy with party planning that I haven't had much time for anything. Tonight Teddy invited me to bowling night and to be honest I could use a night out.

Walking into the bowling alley, I see Teddy and Mark.

"Hey Teds."

"Hey Zona, I'm so happy you came."

"Same, I could use a night out. Hey Mark how have you been?" I say giving him a hug.

"Good, come the gangs here."

Instantly I get even more excited thinking Callie's here, but when we get there I see everyone but her.

"Callie's at the office. She's not coming tonight." Mark says handing me a beer.

"Oh that's fine."

"Is it?" Teddy teases as she sits on Mark's lap.

Taking a big gulp of my beer. "Yes, it is, let's bowl."

The night goes off and to be honest I am having fun. I'm not the greatest bowler, but the company is good. Everyone is having a great time, and I'm starting to get a little tipsy. As I'm bowling, I stumble a little.

"Woah Robbins, take it easy." Mark laughed.

"You're right, I'll sit down and watch you folks for a little while." I said taking the seat next to Teddy.

"So you haven't talked to Callie since the event?"

"I mean we text here and there, but if you're asking if we hung out, then the answer is, no."

"Why not? I thought you wanted to get to know her and all this and that?"

"Teddy, she's busy. I don't wanna bother her. Did you know she owns the law firm that all these people work at?" I say pointing to the group.

"Yes, I know that. But I think she wouldn't mind just hanging out."

"Well it's not like she's anxious to hang out with me, she never made any move."

"You sound so immature. You say you wanna be "just friends", but you make no move. I don't get it you like her."

"I can't handle another lost Teddy. Okay? I just want to breathe for a while and when I'm with Callie. I feel things. And I don't want to. Not right now okay?"

As Teddy goes to answer me, Mark calls her. "Babe it's your turn."

"Coming." She smiled at him. "I'll be right back."

As I'm watching Teddy and Mark interact with each other, I realized, that I haven't seen my best friend this happy ever. Bringing me out of my thoughts, is a voice.

"Hey is this seat taken?"

Smiling as bright as ever, I respond. "No, it's not."

"Good." Callie smiled.

I've never really seen this side of her, she's in regular jeans and a sweater. She looks so relax. This is probably my favorite part of her. Besides her being deep inside of me. Woah, where did that come from. I thought to myself.

"I thought you weren't coming?"

"Why you missed me?" She laughed.

"I did." I smiled shyly bumping her shoulder.

Callie shakes her head and smiles.

"Look who came." Jackson announces.

"Torres good to see you out of the office." Derek says sipping on his beer.

"Couldn't miss bowling night, now could I?" She laughed as she takes the beer from Mark. "Thanks, Sloan."

"Anytime." He says as he takes his turn to bowl.

"You bowl?" I say as I watch her drink her beer.

Jumping up, Callie hands me her beer and grabs a bowling ball. Instantly she gets a strike.

"Does that answer your question?" She says smugly.

"Yes, yes it does." I laugh.

Standing up, I hand her back her beer. "Nobody likes a show off Calliope." I whispered as I walked away, with an extra pep in my step. I turn around and she's watching my every move. I can do this. We can be friends. I grab the ball and knock down 4 pins, and the second one I get a gutter. As I walk back to my seat, I can hear Teddy laughing, and I can see Callie trying her best not to laugh. I take the seat next to her and I can hear her trying her best to stifle her laughs

"Not a good bowler?" Callie tries to say with a serious face.

"You can laugh Callie. You don't need to hide it." I said crossing my arms.

"Hey now don't get mad. Nobody likes a sore loser." She joked.

"Whatever." I say.

She takes my hand and pulls me up, "Come let's go get another one. I'm almost done with mine."

We walk to the bar, next to each other. Never once saying a word. Callie orders a pitcher of beer and wings for the group and then she orders us each a bottle. After she tells the server to bring the food and drinks to the group, she takes the seat next to me in the booth.

"So how have you been?"

"Good, busy. How about you?"

"I'm okay." She says taking a sip of her beer.

My eyes drift off watching everyone in the bowling alley.

"You never called." I say flatly.

"Well I've been busy, you know the phone works both ways, you can call me whenever you want Arizona."

She's right, the phone does work both ways. I'm not sure what to say. So I don't answer her.

"Well it's good to see you, in regular clothes. Mark said he didn't think you were coming. What happened?"

"Just lots of paperwork that's all."

"Did you finish?"

"Nope, but I'll finish them tonight."

"I'm glad you came."

"Me t-"

"Callie!!!" I hear someone yell.

Callie looks up to see who's calling her and I can tell she's surprised. I don't like the way this women is looking at Callie. Like she's a piece of meat.

"Erica, Umm hi.."

"I'm so glad you came. I didn't think you were gonna leave the office."

"Well, I did."

Erica looks at me and puts her hand out to shake. "Hi, I'm Erica Hahn. Callie's personal assistant and you are?..."

"Oh hi, I'm Arizona Robbins. Callie's.. umm friend."

"Well you have a good night Erica. I'll see you tomorrow." Callie says cutting her off before she says anything else.

"See you tomorrow. Nice meeting you Arizona." She says as she walks away.

"Hmm personal assistant eh?" I joked.

"Oh shut it." Callie laughs.

"She likes you." I say matter of factly.

"Who? Erica? No she doesn't."

"Oh okay? You must be blind." I laughed.

"Maybe she does, but it's nothing." Callie shrugged continuing to drink her beer.

"Soooo, I know we agreed to being strictly friends, but friends hang out right?"

"Yes, they do." Callie says with a lifted eyebrow.

"Well how about we go grab some lunch sometime this week?"

Callie pulls out her iPhone and checks her schedule. I peek over and she's totally booked solid.

"Hmm I can do Thursday." She smiles.

"Perfect."

Callie stands up and grabs her beer, "Let's go back to the group."

As we're walking back to where everyone is, we pass by the arcade. I see a game where I know I'll beat Callie at.

Grabbing her hand I pull her.

"Woah Arizona!? Where are we going?"

"You'll see..."

Callie POV

"Pac-Man?" I questioned. "You wanna play Pac-Man?"

Arizona puts her hands on her hips, "Of course Calliope. Don't you know Pac-Man? Everyone knows Pac-Man."

I could watch her all day. She's so expressive and who the hell told her my name was Calliope. Nobody but my parents call me that, but for some reason I enjoy leaving her lips.

"I know Pac-Man, I just don't know why an adult would wanna play Pac-Man?"

"The same reason why an adult wants to bowl, to have fun."

"Okay."

I put my dollar in and I motion for her to play. As I'm watching her, i didn't realize how good she was.

"Wow you're pretty good at this."

"Don't you know I'm good at a lot of things." She says suggestively.

"Hmm I do know that." I whispered by her ear.

"Awwww, that stupid ghost got me." She argues whacking the machine.

"Why don't we make this a little interesting?"

"Like what?" Arizona says looking at my lips. She needs to stop doing that, cause it is taking everything in me not to have her.

"Hmmm, it's up to the winner"

"You don't want that Calliope."

"Why not? You scared I'll beat you."

"No, you don't want to challenge me."

"Challenge you? Oh honey are you forgetting who you're talking to?" I say standing close to her.

"I know exactly who, I'm talking to Calliope. And I'll take your bet." She says so close to me. I literally can feel her breath on mines. Taking a step back, I tell her. "You go first." I put the dollar in watch her. As I'm watching her, she's even better than I thought she was. She's so good even a few people come over and watch her.

"She's gonna beat the high score." I hear one kid whisper to his friend.

All of a sudden, she beats it, and the screen changes, I've never seen this happen before. Clearly Arizona knows cause she's still going.

"Dammit, dammit." Arizona says finally losing.

"Wow you're really good." A few kids tell her.

"Thank you." She smiles. Looking directly at me with out a beat. "Your turn, although I doubt you'll beat me."

Hell I doubt I'll beat her too, but I'll never let her know that.

Putting in some cash, I start playing. It takes some time to get used and now I got a rhythm.

"Wow, who knew you were this good. Torres." She whispered into my ear. I can't help but lean into it. Arizona knows what she's doing. So I try my best to stay focused. Soon the game gets to hard and I cannot out run those stupid ghost.

"Ahaha! I beat you!!" Arizona cheered.

"Yeah, yeah." I laughed "You won. So what do you want?"

"Hmmm." Arizona says crossing her arms, putting on a show. "What do I want?"

"Come on Arizona."

"Okay, I got it. You have to be my personal assistant for a day!" She says excitingly.

"That's it?" I mocked.

"Yep." She smiled as we walked back to our friends.

"Where were you two?" Mark says wiggling his eyebrows.

"In the arcade."

"Oh no." Teddy laughs.

"What? Am I missing something. Is that a code name for sex or something?" Mark laughs.

"Only that Callie probably got swindled."

"You knew?" I say accusingly.

"No, but I know Arizona's really good at Pac-Man."

"You lost?" Mark says beamingly at Arizona. "Callie never loses at anything."

"Well she's really good. Like amazingly good. All the kids were so amazed by her." I laughed.

"So what did you win?" Jackson asked Arizona.

"Callie's gonna be my assistant for a day?" Arizona smiled brightly.

"Really? I need to see this." Mark cracks up.

"Yeah, yeah.."

"What was it you said? Nobody likes a sore loser Torres." Arizona smirked. "I'll be in touch." She says as she walks away, and I keep my eyes on her ass.

"Wow, you got it bad." Mark says snapping me out of my dazed.

"No, I don't."

"Yes, you do. You came the moment I texted you that she was here."

"Not the moment. I told you that I had to finish.."

Mark gives me a look, knowing that I'm lying.

"Fine, I came because of her, but look at her, I can't help it."

"Why don't you just ask her out?"

"Because.. she just wants to be my friend and I'm so busy."

"Are you? Looks like you know how to make time if it includes a certain someone."

"Maybe.."

Just then my phone notification goes off and we look down and of course it's the person we're talking about.

A: Thursday be at my office at 8

C: You got it boss.

"Thought you was busy?"

"Shut it Sloan." I laughed as I put my phone away.

Arizona POV

"Good morning Teddy." I smiled as I entered her bakery.

"Wow aren't you perky this morning." She says leaning on the display handing me my morning doughnut. Taking the bag, I open it and take a bit out of my apple turnover.

"I'm perky every morning."

"Nuh uh. This is different and you know it. Callie is working for you today."

"She texted me that she might be a little late."

"So what are you gonna make her do?"

"Hmm I'm not gonna share all my secrets." I joked and walked to the door.

"Arizona that's not fair! I wanna know." Teddy yelled.

Walking into my shop, I see April has already opened it. God I love her. She so on top of things and it's like she can read my mind.

"Here you go Aps. I got you a glazed doughnut." I say walking to my office.

"Thanks Arizona. By the way..."

Before she can finish my sentence, I see someone is already in my chair.

"Never mind you'll figure it out." April laughed.

"So what happened to being late?"

"Traffic was faster then I thought it would be. So what's the plan boss?" Callie says raising an eyebrow.

"Well I need you to go down to a few stores and pick up some supplies, then I need to check out a venue, and after that we can go to lunch."

"Oh thank god."

"Why? You seemed worried."

"No, I just thought I would have to clean toilets or something." She joked.

"Would you rather clean toilets?" I said raising my eyebrows.

"Nope, I'm good."

I hand Callie a list of places she needs to go and pick up supplies. Honestly she's helping me a lot. I know this was supposed to be like a bet, but she is saving me so much time.

"I'll be back." She smiled. "Oh and Arizona."

Turning around to answer her, "Yes?"

"You look very beautiful today."

"Thanks Calliope."

"Who told you my name?"

"Your mother did." I laughed.

"Now that make sense. Anyways be back in a few."

Once Callie left the room, I decide to get started on my day. I answer emails, book new appointments. Look at many different designs. Realizing it's been about 2 hours, I hear a knock on my door.

"Hey, I'm back. Where do you want me to put everything?" Callie asked.

"You can put them in the spare room. It's down the hall across our employee lunch room."

"Okay." Callie smiles.

I can't help but feel so grateful. Here I am just an event planner and I have Seattle's top lawyer running errands for me. Callie really is one of the most humble people I ever met. I close my iPad and follow her to the room.

"So I had no idea we had that many, fabric stores." Callie says putting down the last box of supplies.

"Isn't wonderful. I love it."

"I bet. So what's next?"

"Well you ready to go on an excursion?"

"Yes let's go. Lead the way."

As we take the drive out of Seattle, I can see Callie's face changing.

"Don't look so worried. We're almost there."

"I'm not worried." She laughed. "But seriously where are you taking me?"

"It's a wedding venue outside of Seattle."

We continue the drive in peace and quietness. Just enjoying each other company. There's something about her that I just want her around me all the time. Besides the fact that we slept with each other. Finally we pull up to this beautiful Barn.

"This place is gorgeous. What's it called?"

"This is Bella Farms. One of the most sought out wedding venues in Seattle."

"Wow, I've never been here before?"

"Probably cause you're so busy." I laughed. "Come let's go."

Leading the way, I'm met with the groundskeeper. She's an older woman. Gray hair, hazel eyes, in her late 50's early 60's.

"Hey Arizona." Sally greets us.

"Hey Sally. Nice to see you again. This is my good friend Callie."

"Hi Ms. Sally. It's nice to meet you." Callie smiles putting her hand out.

"You too Callie. Well since you know the place. I'll let you show her around Arizona."

"Thanks Sally."

Opening up the barn doors, it's meet with the most beautiful high ceilings, you'll ever see.

"Wow it's so beautiful this place could make an angel cry."

"You're such a love sap."

"No, I ain't." Callie laughs.

"Oh you totally are."

Callie doesn't answer me back, instead she walks around.

"This place was an old Apple Orchard many years ago. The people who owned the place never had any children to leave it to. Just a nephew. He had no idea what to do with it. He used to go into Teddy's bake shop everyday and one day we got to talking and he told me about this barn. He took me out to it. I told him if he wanted to. He could renovate it and turn it into a venue. Tj had no idea what I was talking about. It took some vision eventually he caught on and now it's called Bella farms . The couple last name was Bella. So he named it after them. I love it here."

"So this place is here because of you." Callie says admiring everything.

"No it's because of the Bella Family it's here." I laughed.

"You know what I mean." Callie says looking at me. "You're really good at this Arizona. Like unbelievably talented."

Not sure how to take the compliment. I continue.

"Tj he's not around as much. He moved to Oklahoma. So he has his wife's sister Sally, we just met her. She keeps this place running. I only come up here if one of my clients book it."

"Did you design everything?"

"Umm yes. I did."

"I thought you just do events not interior design." Callie says taking a seat on one of the pew chairs.

"I do, but Tj said do what I think was best."

"So, I did." I put my hand out for Callie to grab and she does. "Wait I'm not done yet there's more."

Letting go of her hand, I push open the back barn door, it opens to a view. A huge dance floor. With lights hanging from tree to tree.

"Gorgeous right?"

Callie POV

Watching Arizona talk about this place with so much passion only makes me attractive to her so much more. As she's talking about the place all I can do is imagine her and I dancing on this dance floor. Shaking my head I'm pull out of my day dream.

What the fuck, Torres. You never want to get married. What are you doing dreaming about it. I thought to myself.

"Yes, this place is stunning. What else do you need to do?" I asked trying to change the subject so I can stop admiring her so much.

"Well I just need to check if they have everything in the storage that I'll need for this weekend. You can go back inside. I'll meet you once I'm done."

"Okay do you need help?"

"No it'll be real quick." She smiled as she walked off to a storage building.

"Sounds good." I walk back inside the barn and straight to her car. I don't wanna be in there any longer. First I imagine dancing with Arizona. Who knows what I'll imagine next. Leaning against her car, I take my phone out and read a few of my emails. Then I see a few text messages from Mark.

M: you took the whole day off? Wow she really is something.

M: you must like her. Just ask her out.

M: imagine that. Both of us dating best friends.

M: okay I'm sorry I know I'm jumping the gun. I'm just excited.

M: seriously cal. The whole day. You never do that.

C: I took half a day. I'll be back after lunch.

"Callie right?" Sally says walking up to me.

"Yes?" I say putting my phone away.

"You must mean a lot to Arizona. She never brings anyone with her up here."

"I mean we are friends. I'm sure she's brought Teddy up here." I laughed.

"Hmmm maybe. I'm just surprised. In all the years I've known Arizona. She's never brought anyone up here, before an event."

"I'm not to sure Sally." I say trying to play it off.

"Did she tell you about this place?"

"Yes that TJ renovated this place."

"He did, but that's only because he almost lost it. He couldn't pay for the loan and debts on this orchard. Arizona told him if he invested in turning this place into a venue, he would make his money back and then some."

"And did he?"

"He sure did. Tj paid off the loan and the debt. This place brings in almost 7 figures a year. And it's only because of Arizona. Tj tries to give her a cut every year, but she always refuses. Something about she's in it for the joy." Sally says.

"There you are. I thought you were gonna wait inside the barn." Arizona says walking up to us.

"I was, but then I.."

"That's my fault I started talking to her. You know how I get." Sally joked covering for me.

"I do know." Arizona chuckled. "Well I'll see you this weekend."

"See you. Drive safely back into the city." Sally says as she heads back.

"So you ready? I'm hungry." Arizona says.

"Yes, lets go." I smiled back.

Sitting in the car, taking in the view. I glance at Arizona. She's probably the most beautiful women I ever met. Inside and out. I know she deserves more than I could ever give her. Hell I'm married to my job. There no possible way I could make this work. Arriving at the diner, Arizona puts the car in park.

"You ready?"

"Yes, let's go."
