Leena's POV

Petrovsky didn't like Aria's speech and he was launching another attack so now it was back to the fighting. Aria and I followed Shepard out to the Landing Pad and the entire area was under attack. As per usual we shot down multiple enemies and when it was cleared Nyreen called for us to come help with the main doors.

Like in the Landing Pad we had to bring down another heavy wave of Cerberus enemies. But as always they were no match for us and Nyreen had a wounded Talon member be taken away to get treated for injuries before she turned to us.

"The Talons will join your cause someone's got to make sure you don't run roughshod over our people"

Aria smirked and Nyreen did as well.

"One thing though I maintain command over my people this is not up for debate" Nyreen added.

"Fair enough just have them ready" Aria replied.

The turian woman then walked away to speak with some other Talon members. Sometime later we were back at the bunker.

"We're almost there," Aria said after we entered the bunker. "The Talons will be the frontline fodder, we just need to bring down the force fields to clear the way to Afterlife"

"Aw hell, no Cocky Bastard took Afterlife? Now I hate him even more"

I liked Aria's club and the fact Petrovsky had it pissed me off even more.

"And when the force fields come down Omega's civilians can be released" Shepard added.

Aria nodded.

"Cerberus will have a million fires to put out in one fell swoop, we'll have the people and the Talons working for us, but some people will die and I hate that"

"Even more reason to give Cocky Bastard a piece of your mind" I suggested.

I then went to see Cypher and I found my little buddy was sleeping on top of a crate. I kissed Cy's head before making my way back over to Aria. Shepard was with her too.

"The general is siphoning the power for his force fields from one of my main reactors deep in the bowels of Omega's mines"

"Unfortunately access is cut off by the force fields themselves" Ahz stated.

"Not completely there's an open route throughout the dark area then up," Shepard said nodding at a darkened spot on the projection of Omega.

"Hmm the processing plant for one of the mines, it's been powered down and no force fields are blocking it"

"We infiltrate there find our way through mine and then take the elevator to the reactor's back door"

"Good eyes Shepard" Aria complimented the Commander.

"I sure hope you're not planning to leave without me" Nyreen joked as she joined us. The female turian then looked to Bray. "I was expected, we're allies now"

Aria confirmed the turian's story and she dismissed Bray.

"The Talons are ready but if I'm sending my people into the breach, I want to make sure those force fields are down for good" Nyreen continued.

I watched as the turian and the Pirate Queen exchanged more dialogue and in my mind, I let out a wolf whistle. I then followed Nyreen to the med bay exit while Shepard and Aria worked on last-minute details.

"Don't think I'm not aware of the turian scent that lingers on you Leena"

"You'll have to be more specific I've been around several turians since I've been here" I corrected the Talon Leader. Nyreen chuckled and shook her head.

"I know you're bonded to a male turian, mated pairs have similar scents"

"I hate being away from him" I growled.

"I can relate to that though the circumstances are different" Nyreen said while looking in Aria's direction.

"You still love her"

"I never stopped" Nyreen admitted.

"Then I suggest you two kiss and make up when this station is reclaimed, I'll be honest you and Aria make a hot couple"

Nyreen chuckled again just as Shepard and Aria rejoined us. Sometime later we arrived at one of the eezo processing plants that had been powered down. Shepard approached the door and after examining it he pried the door open. It was dark in the next room and some dead Cerberus soldiers lay on the floor.

The bodies looked like something tore them up pretty bad. My panther vision took over and we began to follow the Commander as he walked on ahead.

"I got a bad feeling about this" I muttered the infamous Star Wars line. At some point, there was a sound that had chills run down my spine.

"An adjutant"

"Oh no the general must have locked this place down to keep it inside"

Nyreen was on edge and hell I didn't blame her. The further we ventured into the darkness the more on edge I got. Aria mentioned the elevator that led to the mines was through the next door but the door itself was deactivated. Nyreen suggested following the pipes to get to the breaker needed to restore the power.

We had to climb up a ladder along with walking on some pipes before finding solid ground again. Finally, we found the breaker and Shepard got the power back on. No sooner had that happened than a mother effin Adjutant slammed through a wall and it shrieked at us.

"Your one ugly bastard"

I made Shepard hold my guns and soon I was on all fours as a black panther. I pounced on the Adjutant and the two of us began a basic cat fight. For a Reaper being it was strong but so was I. My claws were embedded in the Adjutants flesh and the ugly thing tried to buck me off of it. I found a weak spot and I sank my canines into it.

The Adjutants blood was disgusting as it entered my mouth and I bit down harder on my prey. The Adjutant tried to fight back but its blood loss eventually killed it. I didn't remove my canines until I knew my prey was dead.

"Nasty f**ker" I spat after I returned to my human form and wiped off as much as the Adjutant's blood off of me to the best of my ability.

"You hurt Leena?" Shepard asked.

"Nah I'm good" I reassured the human male. I looked to Nyreen and she was shaken up. I walked toward the turian woman and I placed a hand on her shoulder. Nyreen sighed before thanking me and once she regained her composure we continued on our way.
