The lone student stood there alone. "Kamoshida. After all that man's done, I hope he spends the rest of his life rotting in prison, and later, in..." The warning bell rang, signaling that anyone in the halls didn't have much time left to contemplate.

Most of the students had already left by the time Daisy and Pichu got there, and sure enough, there Luigi was, cleaning up while trying to keep a low profile.

Pichu squealed with excitement leaping out of Daisy's arms scampering and jumping into Luigi's. "Pichu! You came for me! I must have caused such a fuss for you guys."

"Pichu."

"And Daisy too?!" exclaimed Luigi.

"Well of course Daisy too!" Daisy replied. "Too bad the others left, would've been fun to crush them and send them home crying." Daisy sighed. "Ah well, I'm just glad we portal'd to a sweet ol' city instead of some supernatural realm. Should be easy enough to get home from here." Daisy sat down on the grass. "But I already found the most important people anyway." she said, snuggling up closer to Luigi and Pichu.

Luigi blushed. "Aw. That's so sweet of you. But I don't know about sending them home crying. They're only high schoolers. One of them even let me sign a ball."

Pichu made sad noises trying to remind Daisy that they couldn't go back. There were Crazy Hands swarming the mansion. The three of them might as well be fugitives.

"Eh, if Smash taught me anything is that pre-schoolers, high-schoolers, middle schoolers, whatever: they can all save the world and stand their own." Daisy said, absent-mindedly plucking the grass.

"Besides, one of them thought I could be the mother of one of the youngins', I'd have no regrets beating them in a game of baseball." she scoffed, trying to pet Pichu on its head, tilting her head in sympathy.

A brief fantasy of Luigi and Daisy playing with a child of their own entered Luigi's mind before he dismissed it to focus on the matter at hand. "Huh? Right. We have to find another way to save the world." Luigi pouted, though not to the extent he had prior, "...somehow. Galeem obliterated a lot of us just like that. Fox, Samus..." sniffle "...Big Bro," Luigi whimpered. He hugged Daisy. "At least he didn't hurt you two."

"Come on." Daisy grabbed Luigi by the arm and forced him to stand up. "You're a hero, I'm a princess of like..four kingdoms if my math's right. We can do this." Daisy said as she kept walking. "One of these kingdoms must have an embassy, so that's where we're going." Daisy pointed in a random direction, still having to find the diplomatic save haven in the sprawling city.

"In Tokyo?" asked Luigi.

The three of them wandered the city looking for such a place if it existed at all.

Luigi asked one person where a Sarasaland embassy was.

"Sarasaland? Never heard of it."

"Do you have an idea about someone who might?"

Daisy bit her lip. "Tokyo…mmmh. I'm not sure. You seem to be of the globe-trotting adventures Weeg, do you know anyone here?"

"Of course I do, and a lot more people who know me."

Luigi asked a man if he could borrow his phone for a Coin.

"For you, you don't need to pay."

"Thanks." Luigi dialed the number. "Yo, Kino! It's a' me, Luigi."

A voice could be heard on the other line. "Luigi?"

"Listen, we're in the middle of Tokyo just outside of Shujin Academy."

Luigi turned the phone's video camera turned on, revealing a Green Toad on the other end. "Daisy, you're here too, and is that a Pichu you've got there? Anyway, how's the Smash Tourney?"

"Well, it is just amazing Kino!" Daisy yelled a bit too nervously. "We're even in Tokyo for a side game, got any time for some old and a new pal?" Daisy said as she held up Pichu.

"For you, always. I'll be there shortly."

"Alright, that settles it." Daisy beamed joyously. "Say what, I'm down for another game of ball." Daisy held a ball in front of Pichu. "Wanna play catch?"

Pichu nodded enthusiastically. "Pichu!"

Daisy threw the ball and smiled at Luigi, imploring him to enjoy the time together. "C'mon Pichu, you can do it!" Daisy yelled, enthusiastically cheering on her new friend.

Pichu did his best to throw the ball into Daisy's arms. She had to lean in, but she caught it. "Alright!"

"Pichu!"

"Luigi, you wanna go at it?" Daisy asked, trying to gauge how much pressure was building up behind that cute 'stache.

"Eh, why not?" She threw it to him. Then he threw it back to Pichu, who hit it with his head like a volleyball back to Daisy.

"Well done!" Daisy was surprised at the volleyball talent of Pichu. "Alright, again!" she lightly lobbed the ball towards Pichu.

"Chu!" He did the same trick only this time, he let bounce in Luigi's direction. The green-clad plumber caught it with his hat and he threw it back to Daisy.

"Hey fellas!" Kinopio appeared on the scene driving a taxi bearing the same pattern as his head and wearing a yukata. "What're you doing in this part of The 'Yo?"

"The Hands teleported us here, and well, we have no idea," Luigi answered. "Although, it is pretty convenient that they put us so close together. Almost like it was meant to be."

"That's the spirit, Luigi! We truly are blessed, with this city too! We do eventually have to play hero though and go back." Daisy rolled her eyes. "Any way you can help with that, Pio?"

"Hm. I don't know much about your problem, but I can get you back to the Battlefield."

"Alright!" Daisy looked over at Luigi. "You want to go back?" she leaned closer to Luigi as to not alert Kinopio. "Let's go save the world." she whispered, rubbing Luigi's back.

"Yes, let's save the world!" he whispered back. "Kinopio, take us to Battlefield! ...please."

"I would be very happy." He pulled out a map and looked at it for a few moments, tracing it with his finger. "There… and then there, and through there… that should do it! All right! Buckle up!"

The three of them did as told, with Daisy helping out Pichu put on his. After checking everything was well and good, the

"I'm going to leave you in Golden Plains, since I have some business there anyways. It shouldn't be any trouble, as it's very close to your destination."

"No problem, Kino! Thanks for the ride!"
