After an hour of driving, Kinopio spoke up. "We should be arriving at our destination shortly."

"We should be pretty close," said Luigi. "Look, there's Golden Plains!"

"Pichu Pichu!" Pichu exclaimed. Daisy held Pichu close to her chest with one arm, leaving her other hand to clench Luigi's wrist. "Let's-a-go, right honey?"

"Absolutely positively, shmoopie!"

"Pichuuu!" Pichu pichu'd. "That's right!" Daisy pumped her fist into the air, hitting the roof of the taxi. "Ouch."

The three of them got off the toad taxi and made their way to the plains where they searched high and low for any signs of the other Fighters. It wasn't long before Pichu saw a red cap sticking out from a bush.

"Pichu! Pichu! Pichu!"

Luigi squealed. "You found Mario? Great job, Pichu!" The trio rushed to the cap, only it didn't look like Mario's; more like a baseball cap, with the words "Fatal Fury" written where Mario's "M" emblem would be. He sighed. "I figured it would be too good to be true, but at least we're on to something."

"At least we are. Now all we have to find out where the rest of Terry is." Daisy uttered.

A capless Terry Bogard ambushed them, shouting "Power Dunk!" hitting Daisy.

"Ah…found him!" Daisy groaned.

Pichu stuck his tongue out at the rogue Fighter.

Terry smirked as he prepped his fists. "Don't worry, Pops. If these guys are as shrimpy as they are stupid, this'll be over in no time at all."

Luigi retorted that they weren't stupid, or shrimpy and that he couldn't see anyone who Terry would call "Pops". "We just made an honest mistake. We were-a looking for someone else, so if you could kindly let us through, we'll just be on our merry way."

"All I heard was 'blah, blah, blah!' Now go home, little man. Mama's boys like you have no place in this fighting tournament."

Luigi began to snivel. Even though he demonstrated on countless occasions to the contrary, getting called that didn't hurt any less. "N-No, I'm not."

"Okay big guy, you've had your muscle exercise today, now you can train the legs by taking a hike." Daisy got up to defend her boyfriend. "And to be clear, I'm a mommy's girl, because she gave me four kingdoms to rule over. Your mother only passed on her anger issues." Daisy wasn't going to be blindsided now, and got ready to fight for this world.

Terry's red eyes glared. "Those'll be some nice words to put on your tombstone, girlie; because you're goin' down!" He dashed toward her with his shoulder.

Daisy tried to match the sheer power with a Daisy Bomber of her own, straight up colliding with the Fatal Fury fighter.

The impact sent Terry skidding across the ground still standing. Furious, he reared up his fist for a Power Wave only to have it kicked away by the sole of Luigi's boot.

"What is wrong with you?!"

Terry laughed before responding to him in a monotone voice. "Nothing. It is you who stand in the way of a perfect world." Terry tried to kick Luigi, but his opponent blocked with a fist.

Pichu watched the three duking it out anxiously, unsure if getting himself would be worth it.

"A perfect world? Woah, sure everything's alright Terry?" Daisy said, readying a golf club just in case the temper flared up again.

"Yes. Now come on, come on! Crack Shoot!"

Daisy held out her golf club, in an attempt to trip up the bulldozer facing her.

Terry jumped right over it and landed a heel kick. Fortunately, Daisy was able to shield herself with the club, though the force of the impact did push her back. Pichu then jumped over Daisy to deliver a headbutt to Terry's face.

"Hey fella, you okay?" Daisy said to Pichu, short on breath from the shock of seeing Pichu take up the fight.

Pichu gave a single nod making a dramatic pose. "Pichu." The little mouse didn't want to use any Electric attacks unless it absolutely had to.

"Then let's get dangerous!" Daisy ran up to Terry to fight back, floating with a tennis racket in hand.

She smacked him right in the face. "Ouch! Grr..." In response, he tried to grab her, only to get hit again with a frying pan.

Daisy went for the hattrick with the golf club. "Next time you want to create a perfect world, just get a garden." she snarked, powering up her swing.

"Oh, that is it!" Terry punched the ground with more energy than he had shown throughout the whole fight. The massive blast sent Daisy up in the air falling on her back. Terry picked up the dropped golf club and threw it away.

Luigi slid down and stood in front of Daisy, repeatedly stomping on the ground. "Why don't we just relax, find ourselves a café, and talk this out over a cup of coffee?"

"Enemies of Galeem must be dealt with accordingly."

The two men punched each other's fists. "Terry, please! This has to be some kind of understanding. We're your friends! It's us! You love your brother, right? Now imagine losing him. You'd be willing to travel the whole world just to find him? Please help us find mine!"

"Hahahahaha. So you're tellin' me that you think I'm not okay?" They kept attacking each other.

"You just punched Daisy out of nowhere."

"'Are you okay?' Tell that to your precious mirror." Terry then punched Luigi right in the gut. "Buster Wolf!" The hit generated a large explosion that sent Luigi right over Daisy, landing on his side.

Luigi meekly taunted despite being clearly hurt, "Is that the best you can do?" He then started whimpering in pain.

"Galeem?" Daisy looked confused, and only partially because she got punched in the face. "Luigi, you ever heard of that name? I doubt it's his mother's maiden name." Daisy shook her head. "Galeem" she repeated, trying to see if such a name ever came up in the royal tea parties.

"That's probably that thing we left to go on the island for. He got some, but others managed to escape through the portals."

In the meantime, Pichu became very angry. "Chu!"

Terry looked down upon the little one. "And what are you gonna do about it?"

"Pi!" Pichu called forth Thunder, one of his most powerful moves: "PiiiCHUUUUU!" electrocuting the perpetrator. The blast was so bright that Luigi and Daisy shielded their eyes. When it finally stopped, both Pichu and Terry had fainted.

"Pichu!" Luigi cried.

"Hey, hey little buddy." Daisy said as she picked Pichu up and carried him like a baby. "Let's go. Something tells me Terry wasn't the first of Galeem's creepy doom prophets." Daisy started to briskly walk towards her next destination. "C'mon Luigi, every journey starts with a first fight." Daisy looked back, still moving ever forward. "And you mister.." she said in a baby voice to Pichu. "you leave the fighting to the big boys. Can't have you faint day one already."

"He certainly won't be the last either. If he was captured; Mario, Samus, Fox, and who knows what are probably all after us too. Say, you never told me how you and Pichu got ended up in Tokyo in the first place."

Suddenly, Mewtwo and Mega Man warped to their location.
