Young Link had fallen asleep on one of the couches in the lobby, exhausted after such a long day. Smiling, Steve placed him in his shoulders and carried him towards their room. It was time to rest and recharge.

Once Steve got to the room, he had some trouble figuring out the key card, but he eventually unlocked the door and stepped inside.

"… Nice place." He commented as he set the kid on the bed closest to the door, then placed the ender chest on the other bed. "Wonder how long it'll take for the big guy to wake up?"

Steve then noticed there was a balcony, and he opened the door a bit, then stepped out. The sun was setting, and the Minecraftian leaned against the railing, looking out over the port. 'I wish Alex was here. She'd love all of this.'

Soon after, Steve headed towards his own. It had been a long day. Not long after, he was peacefully asleep.

With the sun shining through the window, Young Link woke up and stretched, feeling like a million rupees. "That was some good sleep."

Recalling what had happened yesterday, he jumped from his bed and looked around with a start. He recognized his and Steve's room. He could see Steve still sleeping in his own bed, laying there like a calm and serene plank. Next to his bed was the box that contained the transformed Pokemon.

"Why didn't he wake me up? What happened at the casino? He must've been successful, since he didn't wake me up. Right?"

He was tempted to wake the block man to get more answers, but then decided against it. He didn't know how much he'd slept. Walking out the balcony, he stared at the view. The sea was calm and it shined with the morning sun. He was reminded of the beauty of Great Bay back in Termina. "Maybe this place has a giant turtle too." he thought amusingly.

He was sitting there contemplating what they'd do next when Steve eventually woke up.

Steve eventually woke up and simply laid there on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He then looked over at the ender chest and opened it after sitting up. The block man then spoke into the chest. "You awake?"

The box said nothing, as a box would.

Steve then reached into the box and eventually pulled Incineroar out of the ender chest and onto the bed.

The Pokemon, now in his normal form, weighed down on the bed heavily. He was still unconscious and snored loudly.

"So... how do we wake him up?" asked Young Link.

Steve looked like he wanted to say something.

"Without dumping a bucket of water on his face, since it'd hurt him."

Steve no longer wanted to say something.

"How about we take him to the balcony? The sun would probably be the best way for a fire type like him."

Steve shrugged and picked up the Pokemon and dumped him on the veranda, positioning him in such a way that his face was looking towards the sun. A few seconds later, he began stirring. Soon after, he woke up with a start. "Incin!" he exclaimed.

Steve stepped around the large cat and waved. "Hello there."

Incineroar looked at Steve, then at Young Link besides him, and then immediately towards his own hands and patting his body, looking anxious and somewhat scared while doing so. He looked towards the duo and started to tremble.

The Minecraftian took a few steps back. "You're free of that nightmare now, Incineroar."

"R...roar?" asked the Pokemon in disbelief while looking back and forth at Steve and Young Link. Soon, he started to calm down.

Whatever he saw sure terrified the living daylights out of him. How could anything leave such an impact on him? wondered Young Link.

"We're going to stay here for at least another day, then figure out what to do next." Steve said.

"I wouldn't be opposed to that- it'd be a nice change of pace from all the running back and forth that we've done so far." replied Young Link, stretching.

"However, I refuse to spend the day lounging around. I'll gather whatever info the locals might have to try and find out where to go next." he stated matter-of-factly. "I'll also be taking Incineroar with me. Some fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere will probably help calm him down. What will you do?"

Steve shrugged. "Might look around the shops here."

"Alright. See you at lunchtime?" asked Young Link.

"What time is it now… eight in the morning." Steve glanced at the nearby clock. "I guess twelve or one sounds good."

"All right. We'll see each other then." said Young Link.

He then headed towards Incineroar -who was sitting down in the veranda- and carefully extended his hand towards the Pokemon. "Do you want to go with me?"

"Incin?" he asked, still unsure whether or not to trust him. He slowly reached out and grabbed the Hylian's hand and, with a push, got up.

Smiling, Young Link exclaimed "Follow me. We'll have a small walk around." Calmly, the both of them exited the room.

Steve left the hotel and walked around the port, writing down potential build ideas in his journal until he happened to come across a familiar looking two-legged dog. "Isabelle?"

She just simply stood there, smiling. However, Steve felt like something about her was... off. Her grin lingered for a bit too long, her movement weirdly stiff. "Hello there, Steve. Are you traveling with any of the other fighters? I've been wondering where the others were."

Steve noticed that her voice was slightly different. "Well, I've been traveling with one of the sword kids, and we recently rescued the fire wrestler cat."

Isabelle's expression didn't change. "I see. Any way we might meet up with them? I'd love to... speak with those two."

Steve got even more suspicious. "Well, they wandered off, so I don't know where they are currently. Why don't you tell me what you've been up to?"

The secretary kept staring straight ahead. "I've been... busy, as usual. So I decided to take a little... vacation. To find out what happened to all the fighters that left the Mansion. So it's such... great news that I ran into you. You can tell me all about the others while we search for Young Link and cute little Incin." She giggled, but Steve could feel no trace of her usual joy from it.

The Minecraftian narrowed his eyes. "I know possession when I see it."

Isabelle feigned confusion. "Possession? What's that?"

Steve eyed Isabelle (?). "Hmmm.. Well you're not acting like yourself, so I assume something or someone is possessing you."

The secretary quickly looked all around her. Once she concluded that there wasn't a significant amount of people around, she grabbed Steve by the collar and pinned him to a nearby wall with a strength that was wholly uncharacteristic of her, making the wall crack behind him. She spoke with a new voice: "Now listen here. You may have freed one of my puppets, but this ends now. You will take me to the others or I will rip you apart limb from limb right here and now and then find them myself. Understood?"

The voice was deep and deeply alien. It was like hearing someone from another entire plane of existence, and Steve couldn't quite comprehend its source.

'Isn't this interesting.' Steve thought as he tired to come up with some response. He tried to free himself as he spoke. "And what do you intend to do to them?"

However, Isabelle's grip was too strong, and any attempt to move only made her grip tighten. "That is none of your concern. Now tell me: WHERE. ARE. THEY? I'm not going to repeat myself again."

Steve silently weighed his options and didn't find any. He stayed quiet, wondering how he was going to get himself out of this one. "Even if I did know where they are," 'No turning back now… If I die, then I die.' He tried again to free himself. "I wouldn't tell you. Something tells me you're going to try to kill them."

Isabelle just answered by flashing another smile, the widest yet. Next, she proceeded to slam Steve against the floor and pummel him until he was left unconscious.

Once the block man could no longer fight back, she walked back and extended her hand towards him. In an instant, he was sucked into an unknown void.
