Chapter 24: XYZ Showdown

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

Hanabi, Kakashi-Papa, Naruto, Takara and I had made it back to our base camp. Iruka-Sensei looked relieved to see me safe and sound. He could immediately tell that Hanabi, Naruto, and Kakashi-Papa had saved me. He wasn't the only one relieved seeing me safe Haku was relieved as well...Speaking of Haku right now, a perfectly healed Haku was hugging me close. Haku had never been one to hug others before but his loyalty towards me was outstanding. Haku seemed to always protect me from anything except from Hades. He eyes me "Lady Kasumi...I'm glad you are safe."

"Haku..." I said blushing a bit.

He eyes me "Sorry, I wasn't with your brother, Hanabi or Kakashi-Sensei."

"I know you would've came too" I told him "But you were injured. Those injuries needed to be looked at first."

Toph approached "We all missed you Lady Kasumi." She pauses pointing to Sokka whom was trying to take watch "Even Sokka over there."

Sokka heard his name called and turned over to me "Well, Toph's right! However I told everyone that everything would be okay and that you would be rescued. So I wasn't too worried."

Katara smiles "Oh really? I don't know Sokka, you woke up every hour saying Lady Kasumi's name."

Sokka sweat dropped as Aang turned to me "Nice to have you back."

"Thanks guys" I told them "That's one experience I don't want to have again."

Aang understood me "Can't blame you, you must've went through a lot while Hades's captive. From hoping to be rescued in time, then having to witness that Shadow Tag Duel."

I shook my head yes "In the end Hanabi, Kakashi-Papa and Naruto succeeded in rescuing me."

"You should get some rest" Katara advised me, "You probably didn't get too while in Hades's hands."

I agreed with her "Alright."

I found a spot to sleep for the rest of the night. As I was drifting off to sleep, I heard Sokka speaking to Hanabi and Naruto "So...How did the Shadow Tag Duel go?"

Naruto smiled at him "It didn't go well the first two rounds Hades and Sasuke seemed to have played a good Duel in the first two rounds at least until Hades busted out his ace, Cereberus, Guardian of the Underworld monster."

"Never heard of that one" Aang said.

"Trust me when I say this" Hanabi told him "That's one card you really have to prepare for...It was some new Extra Deck Monster that we don't know about. A new pitch black Duel Monster Card."

"Yusei told me Dark Synchro Monsters were black" Naruto admitted "But this new Monster card type...It was way different than Dark Synchro Monsters."

"Did it have a name?" Toph asked interested in the new card.

Hanabi answered "Hades called it an XYZ Monster. While Dueling against Cereberus, Guardian of the Underworld, I looked back to see what Lady Kasumi thought of it...It took even her by surprise."

Aang frowned "So...A brand new monster type?"

"Sounds like it" Hanabi said "Hopefully Hades was the only one that had such a thing. Otherwise in between of reclaiming the stolen Titan Cards, and this new type of monster, we have a lot to think about and learn."

Then everything went silent as I fell asleep.

Morning came and I woke up stretching. It's amazing how even a little rest can restore your body. Once I did I saw something flash in my deck. I checked out my deck. Everything was still there, but as I checked the Extra Deck, where the Synchros lay, I saw something new...I had somehow received a pitch black card and I knew at once it had to have been an XYZ Monster of some kind. I didn't know much about XYZ Monsters but I remembered Hades explaining to my brother and Hanabi that XYZ Monsters don't have a level but a rank. To gain that rank you'd have to have at least two or more of that level monsters. I checked to see what rank this XYZ Monster was and only saw that it was Rank Four which meant it required at least two Level four Monsters. Now that was all I could see on this new card, I didn't see a name, Attribute, Attack, Def, and effect as I knew most XYZ monsters required some sort of effect for their XYZ material units. I now knew why, in time, if I dueled someone then managed to get the required cards to XYZ Summon this new card, then everything would come to me. Some cards were like that.

Sokka saw me up and turned to me "What are you looking at?"
I decided to keep this new card a secret from my friends, I wanted them to be taken by surprise as I was. I answered him "Just checking my deck. I saw a flash appear over it and was interested in what was going on."

"Anything?" Sokka asked me alarmed.

I hated to lie to him but if I was to keep a secret then it would be a good idea to let him think I didn't see anything "Nothing much. Everything's there."

"Oh, okay" Sokka admitted.

After everyone got up we sat around the camp thinking of our next move. Kakashi-Papa spoke "Okay, after we've rescued Lady Kasumi from Hades, I believe it's time to move on. We have recovered two of the five Titan Cards. Boltose the Lightning Titan, and Hydros the Ice Titan. Three of those remain at large."

"Correct" Iruka-Sensei admitted "Plus we've gotta see where Aang decided to head to next."

Aang agreed "Right. Now where too?"

Toph turned "If you want we can continue to walk onward towards the Earth Kingdom's capital."

"That's possibly our greatest bet" Aang admitted.

"Then if Haku's well enough" Sokka suggested "We'll head out."

Katara turned to her brother "Haku's well enough to walk. We've had a good chance to recover while Lady Kasumi was held prisoner by Hades."

"So then" Hanabi suggested "Let's get moving, the longer we stay away from the capital the sooner the Fire Nation might try to attack it."

With this we've all agreed to keep moving onward. As we walked on the path towards the capital, Takara sniffed the ground checking for any enemy scent. Toph paused as we were now walking on sand. She frowned "Sand...That's like my worst enemy. Out of all the Earth Bending skills I can't Sand Bend too much."

"Sand isn't going to be our only problem" I warned looking around "We are in a desert."

Naruto pants "Do you think we'll see Gaara again?"

"Gaara?" Sokka asked "Whose he?"

"One of the Sand Shinobi" I answered "Naruto had a good brawl with him when the Sound ninjas attacked the Leaf."

"I thought you said the Sand Ninja were allies to your village" Katara told me.

Haku answered "They are now! Back then though when Lady Kasumi wasn't a ninja, and when the Third Hokage was still alive, during the Chunin Exams...The Sand and Sound were allies and attacked Konoha. Many leaf shinobi died during that battle including the Third Hokage but the Leaf prevailed...Gaara was a formidable opponent, one that defeated Rock Lee, almost to a point of wanting to kill him-"

"I remember that" Naruto muttered

Haku continued "Naruto managed to fight him in the end and somehow defeat him...Oddly enough after that he and Gaara became friends..."

"Had to summon Gambunta to defeat Gaara" Naruto muttered "Due to him having the One tailed Raccoon spirit"

I paused looking around and Naruto turned to me "Something wrong sis?"

"Talking about Gaara's made me a bit uncomfortable knowing we are walking in sand...Which is Gaara's weapon of choice."

"How can sand be a weapon?" Sokka asked.

"Sand can be a dangerous weapon" Kakashi-Papa told Sokka "One may think sand is nothing but a lot of it can be heavy especially when water is added to it. Plus Gaara influenced his sand with his Chakra, becoming in what Toph would agree to say made him appear as a Sand Bender."

"Never met this Gaara" Toph said "But if Lady Kasumi is uncomfortable around sand because of this Gaara, then he must be a very skilled Sand Bender."

"He still is if I recall" Naruto admitted.

I looked around "Gaara would have a blast in this area."

"So many ways he could catch us off guard" Naruto agreed "And crush all of us with it. He wouldn't have to worry about not using his Gorde which is also filled with Sand."

We walked a bit more looking everywhere. The Sun was beating down on us and made Sokka a bit cranky. We stopped but Toph being not able to see walked right into him. He looks at her "Can't you see where you're going?"

"No!" Toph told him.

"Oh" Sokka admitted seeing her eyes "That's right."

"This is getting too hot!" Sokka complained "Anyone pack water?"

He then saw a cactus laying on the ground. Naruto whom was getting a bit hot himself saw it to. I had a bad feeling about what was going to happen as Sokka uses a sword he had found to slice the cactus open "Hey! Theirs water in these!"

"Water?" Naruto asked "Toss me a half!"

"Sure!" Sokka admitted passing Naruto a half.

"N-N-Naruto" I said trying to warn him "Don't."

"Too late" Hanabi sighed as my brother and Sokka drank some of the cactus's water.

"Want some?" Sokka and Naruto asked me and Katara.

Katara and I were somehow on the same page "I don't know."

"Suit yourselves!" Sokka admitted "It's really thirst quenching though."

No sooner had he had spoken that the cactus juice took an affect on my brother and Sokka. Sokka's eyes changed as if he was seeing an illusion "Drink Cactus Juice, It'll quench you nothing's quencher, it's the quenchest!"

Naruto was also looking at me in the same manner. I gave out a sigh, trust my adoptive big brother to follow what Sokka would do needless to say, Katara and I weren't amused, although it was Katara that would take a big step forward and grabbing the two cactus halves "Okay...I think you two have had enough."

Sokka then looks at Toph and asks "Who lit Toph on Fire?"

Naruto eyed Toph too "I don't recall Fire Bending..."

Aang's pet Lymer must've taken some of the juice too because it acted like it was drunk flying around in the skies in a circular pattern before falling onto the ground. It is Toph that asks "Can I have some of that cactus?"

"That's probably not a good idea" Katara answered her.

"We've gotta get them out of here" Kakashi-Papa said "In some area where it's not so hot."

"I see a cave" Haku reported.

"That'll have to do for now" Iruka-Sensei said.

"Then let's head to the caves" Aang admitted.

As everyone else was leaving to the caves, Sokka looked around as while Naruto literally was swimming in the sand "How'd we get in the middle of the ocean?"

"Don't know" Naruto admitted "But we need to swim for it!"

Katara and I shook our heads as we returned to them and helped them to follow us.

"Takara" I told my pet Vulpix "Burn down any cactus you see."

"Vulpix!" Takara admitted shaking her fury head yes.

As we were making our way to a nice cave spot there was a new thing a sand tornado emerging from the back of us.

"What is that?" Katara asked.

"It's a giant mushroom!" Sokka proclaimed "MAYBE it's friendly!"

I along with Haku had to hold Naruto back from running towards the sand storm.

"How much further is it?" I asked Kakashi-Papa.

"Not too far" Kakashi-Papa said "That's a major sand storm coming our way."

"Stick together everyone!" Aang reported.

"We're trying too!" I admitted.

"Friendly Mushroom!" Sokka shouts "Whose your best friend?

I could already tell, just Sokka being on whatever he was on was going to be weird for a good while, but Naruto too was a bit too much.

We managed to get to the caves just as the sandstorm seemed to have struck. I looked out of the cave as Toph was with me.

"That's one deep sand storm" I muttered.

"I can't tell much" Toph admitted "But it feels good being in shade...Do you think Naruto will come out of that trance?"

"Let's hope he does!" I shouted annoyed at the fact both Sokka and Naruto were under the influence of the cactus juice "Otherwise I'll blow my mind and lose it sending them flying to who knows where they'd land."

Katara walks over towards me "I think that maybe a good idea when they come out of it."

I gave out a sigh "Right now it wouldn't solve anything."

Two hours later the sand storm was still raging on but my friends, Kakashi-Papa and I were safe and sound in the caves watching over my brother's and Sokka's condition. Somehow, my brother came out of it first as he shook his head "Man, what happened?"

"You drank cactus juice" I told him angry at him "And got what's the word?"

"Drunk like Lady Tsunade?" Toph asked.

"Yeah that's it!" I said.

"ME DRUNK?" Naruto asked sitting upright "Like Granny Tsunade? No way!"

"Oh yes way" I said.

Naruto sighs "How drunk did I appear?"

I pointed out to Sokka whom hadn't recovered completely well not one hundred percent, Sokka saw something on the cave "I think being in this cave has begun to clear my mind!"

He sees something the cave and grabs hold of it and stuffs it into his mouth and Momo's. One second later the two spit it out "Oh yuck! That tasted like rotten penguin meat!"

Naruto sweat drops as he turned to me asking me "Was I like that?"

I nod as Katara scolds the two "You were like that Naruto and you two were hallucinating all the way here!"

"I'm staying away from Cactus Juice from now on" Naruto muttered hanging his head.

"Probably a good idea" I admitted.

Kakashi-Papa turned towards an exit and I saw him draw a kunai knife "Kakashi-Papa?"

"We aren't alone" he told me.

I looked to where he was and sure enough, there was another person coming our way. Sokka turned "Dinner?"

Naruto sweat drops "It's another human...It's wrong to eat other humans..."

"It's a blond haired girl" Katara admitted.

Sure enough the girl had blond hair. At first I thought she could've been completely human, but as she came closer I saw that she was a robot in a maid's outfit. On her wrist arm was a Duel Disk. She finally stops looking at us "Which of you is this Kasumi Aki Fudo?"

I stepped forward "That would be me? What do you need of me?"

"My name is Chachamaru" the robotic girl spoke "And I usually work for my Mistress Evangeline A.K McDowell. However someone else has ordered me to find you."

"Someone else?" I asked.

"Yes, someone in the name of Chao-Lin" Chachamaru reported "She's looking for someone to help change the future and has her eyes sighted on you due to your enormous Psychic Powers."

This caught my eye as I was skeptical on this my father had to deal with someone from the future as well whom wanted to destroy all of Duel Monsters "What sort of change in the future?"

Chachamaru answered "I'm not allowed to tell you much, but I will say a forced change of a world take over. Won't you consider to join us?"

I had my answer ready "Tell this Chou-lin, I'm not going to be a pawn in her game!"

"You tell her sis!" Naruto told me.

Chachamaru looked stunned that I'd refuse Chou-lin's offer as I continued "If she really knows that I'm psychic then she should know that I am no one's pawn. I write my own future with my friends. I don't use my powers for a world wide take over! That's what nearly everyone on the side of evil wants me for, just destruction! I will not have any part of it! I use my powers to help and protect everyone, not for destruction!"

Chachamaru may have been stunned but it was as if she expected this "I will tell Chou-lin that you've turned her offer down and she'll most likely accept your reasons, if you can beat me in a Duel."

I gave Chachamaru a look "Dueling Robots don't have much of an impact to a Duelist"

Chachamaru smirked a bit "You'll find me a bit of a challenge Signer. If you lose, I'll take you Chou."

I frowned "Then know this...I won't lose!"

Chachamaru eyes me as I step forward adjusting my Duel Disk and I was sure Chou sent her to Duel me for something else, but wasn't sure what it would be for. Chachamaru then warned me "If you beat me I'll go to Chou-lin she will accept that you don't want to help her but she may just come to Duel you next."

"Then I'll Duel her too if the time comes" I told Chachamaru "No one uses this girl easily."

"Very well then Lady Kasumi" Chachamaru told me.

"You sure you don't want me to Duel for you?" Naruto asked me.

"I'm sure" I told him "Besides she came to Duel me and me alone. Besides there is something else to this approach. Something she's not telling us but I'll figure it out."

I approached Chachamaru activating my Duel Disk "So...Chachamaru, are we going to Duel or not?"

Chachamaru nods "Very well, we shall Duel...Let the Duel commence."

She activated her own Duel Disk.

Then we both shouted "DUEL!"

Chachamaru's Life Points: 4000

My Life Points: 4000

"You may go first Lady Signer" Chachamaru told me as we drew our top five cards.

"With pleasure!" I agreed "It's my move, I draw!"

I drew my card then checked out my hand. I didn't know what cards Chachamaru had but even though she was a robot, I wasn't about to under estimate her.

"I'll summon Cleric Mist in Defense mode!" I said.

Cleric Mist appears on the field but was in defense mode DEF: 500

"When Cleric Mist is successfully summoned" I told Chachamaru "It activates her Special ability, increasing my Life Points by one thousand!"

My Life Points increased 4000-5000.

"Not a bad move" Chachamaru told me.

"Next" I told her "I'll set one card face down and end my turn."

"It's my move" Chachamaru reported "I draw!"

She drew her card "From my hand I activate the effect of Cyber Dragon, if my opponent has a monster and I have none I can Special Summon it from my hand! So come forward Cyber Dragon!"

A mechanical dragon appeared on the field ATK: 2100

"But he won't be there for long" Chachamaru promised me "For I tribute it in order to bring out Jinzo!"

Cyber Dragon vanished but in it's place was the mighty green android robot known as Jinzo ATK: 2400

"Now" Chachamaru told me "With Jinzo out, you and I can't activate any Trap Cards."

I frowned nodding as my Face-Down Card was a Trap Card.

Chachamaru now spoke "Battle! Jinzo attack her Cleric Mist!"

Jinzo attacked my monster blasting out at her with a purple energy blast. Cleric Mist screamed in pain and then was destroyed.

"So much for trying to keep her on the field" I muttered as my Cleric hit the Graveyard.

"I'll set one card face down and end my turn" Chachamaru said.

"That Jinzo has a good effect" Naruto muttered.

"Oh come on!" Sokka said "It doesn't look that intimating, even I can defeat it watch me!"

Naruto held him back "No way Sokka! Man that Cactus Juice infected you more than me."

"He drank a lot of it" Katara sighed.

"Naruto...you drank a sip only and became like that" Hanabi sighed.

"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"

I drew my card, Jinzo was a powerful card, I had to play it smart "I'll set one monster in defense mode, then I'll end my turn!"

I set one of my monsters face down in defense mode then ended my turn.

"It's my move" Chachamaru said "I draw!"

She then spoke "I summon Robotic Maid in defense mode!"

A robot that nearly looked like Chachamaru only more robot like appeared on the field in defense mode DEF: 1500

"While I have one other Machine Type Monster, Robotic Maid can't be targeted by an attack target" Chachamaru told me.

I nodded having the feeling Robotic Maid had another effect as she spoke "Battle, Jinzo attack her face-down monster!"

Jinzo attacked my face-down monster and I revealed it to me the pink armored female knight called Knight Meg! DEF: 1600

She took the attack head on and wasn't destroyed causing Chachamaru to speak "What?"

"Knight Meg has a special ability" I told her "Once per turn if she's in defense mode, she can't be destroyed in battle!"

"Not bad" Chachamaru admitted "Turn end"

"My move!" I announced "I draw!"

I drew my card "Perfect! I now summon my Heron Leanne tuner Monster!"

Heron Leanne appeared on my side of the field ATK: 0

"Now" I told Chachamaru "I'm going to tune my Level two Heron Leanne Tuner Monster with my Level Four Knight Meg!"

I then chanted out "Born by Blood by the Crimson Dragon, the Light Shines for the truth...For Justice, Synchro Summon...Michiah, Maiden of Dawn!"

Michiah Maiden of Dawn appears on my field in a flash ATK: 2400

"When Michiah Maiden of Dawn, is on the field" I told Chachamaru "It activates her Special ability, increasing all of my monster's attack by five hundred!"

Michiah's attack points rose 2400-2900

"Now it's my turn!" I told Chachamaru "Battle, Michiah, Maiden of Dawn Attack Jinzo Thani!"

Michiah gathered in a powerful light based spell hurling at Jinzo, the ball of light fell from the sky and onto Jinzo with a bright explosion destroying Jinzo.

Chachamaru's Life Points took the hit. Chachamaru's Life Points: 3500

"That's not all" I told her "When Heron Leanne is used to Synchro Summon any monster, that monster gains the ability to attack twice during the damage step! So I'll have her attack your Robotic Maid! Go, Michiah, attack again this time Rex Aura!"

Michiah cast another spell this time her strongest light based spell but Chachamaru was ready "I activate my Continuous Trap Card: Gravity Bind!"

"Oh-nuts!" I shouted.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

Hanabi sighed "Naruto...How do you do well in Duels when you don't know half of what the Trap Cards do..."

Chachamaru answered "Now, Lady Signer, with Gravity Bind in effect you can't attack me with a level four or higher monster."

"That's fine" I told her "I'll set one card face-down Turn end!"

"It's my move" Chachamaru said "I draw!"

She drew "I activate Continuous Spell Card: Wave Cannon of Motion!"

A big huge Cannon appeared on Chachamaru's side of the field as she explained it's effect "Now every stand by Phase that passes since it's activation, this cannon counts down. Then when I want to I can destroy this card then inflict one thousand points of damage to you for each turn that passed. So by calculation Lady Kasumi, in five whole turns after this activation you are finished."

I frowned with Gravity Bond that seemed like a sure thing. She then spoke "I activate Spell Card: Robot Reconstruction!"

I saw a new Spell Card activate as Chachamaru spoke "This Card is like Monster Reborn. Only for Machine Type Monsters. Anyway by discarding the top card from my deck to the Graveyard, I'm allowed to Special Summon one Machine Type Monster regardless of level."

She discarded the top card from her deck to the Graveyard then Jinzo reappeared. ATK: 2400

I looked at her "That stopped your Gravity Bind you know that don't you?"

"Briefly it does" Chachamaru admitted "But the discarded card that I sent to the Graveyard is known as Microbot! If it hits the Graveyard by being discarded from my hand or deck, it activate it's ability allowing me to draw one card for each Machine Type Monster on my field or Graveyard, for each one, one of my own Machine Type Monsters gains two hundred attack points until the end of my next turn!"

I mentally counted down she had Cyber Dragon and Microbot in the Graveyard. This was followed by Jinzo and Robotic Maid on her field, a total of four monsters, so that means she drew four cards!

Chachamaru agreed with my estimate "At the time, the monsters on my side of the field and Graveyard number four. So I get to draw four more cards! Plus Jinzo gains eight hundred attack points!"

Jinzo powers up 2400-3200

Sokka was still under the influence of the cactus juice as he muttered "That's no big deal! I've seen tougher monsters."

"No big deal?" Naruto demanded at him "Three Thousand attack point monsters are no joke and are considered serious business!"

Hanabi watches "This does put her in a bind."

"Next" Chachamaru told me "I activate the Equip Spell Card: Amplifer! I can only equip this to Jinzo. The Equip Spell Card allows me to use my Trap Card effects and every turn that passes since activation he gains three hundred attack points!"

I nodded at this as she spoke "Battle! Jinzo, attack her Michiah, Maiden of Dawn!"

"Not so fast!" I shouted "I may not be able to activate my Trap Card, but I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card: Goddess's Protection!"

I gave Chachamaru a look "When this card is activate, Michiah Maiden of Dawn can't be destroyed in battle until the end of your turn!"

Light erupted around Michiah protecting her from being destroyed as Chachamaru eyes me "Your monster may survive but your Life Points won't!"

Jinzo's attack carried onto me crashing onto me and causing damage to my Life Points. My Life Points: 4700

Chachamaru checked her hand "Turn end and just remember now that I've ended my turn, Mircobot's bonus boost has ended returning Jinzo's attack back to normal."

Jinzo's attack returned to normal 3200-2400

"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"

I drew my card, with Gravity Bind's effect back in play Michiah couldn't attack, so I decided to activate her effect "I activate Michiah Maiden of Dawn's Special ability of Maiden Revival, it allows me to Special Summon one Monster by halving her attack strength. Neither monster can attack on the turn Michiah's second ability is used...So I'll half her attack points to bring back Knight Meg!"

Michiah's attack points halved 2900-1450 then Knight Meg Returned back to the field DEF: 1600

"Next" I told Chachamaru "I activate Spell Card: Silencer!"

Chachamaru pauses as I looked at her smiling "I can only activate Silencer when there is a Spellcaster Type Monster on the field, and Michiah fits that bill! When Silencer is played it negates any Spell or Trap Card effect for two whole turns and prevents you from setting or activating those cards."

Michiah cast a powerful spell that negated her Wave-Motion Cannon and Gravity Bind.

"Next" I told Chachamaru "I Summon Archer Naomi in attack mode!"

A purple haired archer girl dressed in pink appeared on the field ATK: 1200

"Thanks to Michiah's effect" I told Chachamaru "All of my monsters gain 500 attack points!"

Naomi's attack points rose 1200-1700

"Doesn't scare me!" Chachamaru told me "Naomi doesn't come close to attacking and destroying Jinzo."

"I know that" I told her "But Battle!"

She blinked "Battle?"

I gave her a nod "Naomi's a level four monster and she's an archer which means she has the ability to attack your Life Points directly! So Naomi attack Chachamaru directly! Archer Critical!"

Naomi pulled out an arrow twirled it expertly then fired at Chachamaru, it was a direct hit! Chachamaru stumbled as her Life Points fell but only by half "What the?"

Chachamaru answered "I activate the effect of Microbot in my Graveyard, by removing it from play I can half any Direct Attack damage."

I sighed this wasn't going to be easy after all. Chachamaru's Life Points: 2650

"I end my turn" I told her "At the end of my turn though Michiah's attack strength comes back to normal."

Michiah's attack went back to normal 1450-2900

"My move!" Chachamaru told me "I draw!"

She drew and my Silencer prevented her Spell Card and Trap Cards from working, clearly her deck was meant to stall mine out but Silencer prevented that. I thought I had this one in the bag but she smiled "I tribute Robotic Maid, with my Jinzo in order to Tribute Summon Giant Robotic General!"

Her two Monsters vanished and in it's place stood a giant robotic monster with horns on it's head ATK: 3000

I bit my lip as Chachamaru spoke "My Giant Robotic General is the most strongest Monster in my deck, and I activate it's effect I can destroy all spell and trap Cards on the field for each one destroyed he gains five hundred more attack points and all monsters on your side of the field lose the same amount of attack"

Okay, I had to admit this was bad! She destroyed her Gravity Bind, and her Wave Motion Cannon, and my set trap Card which meant it gained fifteen hundred more attack points. 3000-4500

Then all of my monsters lost fifteen hundred attack points. 2900-1400, 1700-200

Sokka now pailed seeing this and was now fully recovered. He points to Haku wagging a finger then asked him "This is bad...Isn't it?"

Haku grits his teeth agreeing with Sokka "You bet! Regardless which of Lady Kasumi's monsters Chachamaru attacks, Lady Kasumi's going to be hit hard."

Chachamaru eyes me "When I declare an attack target with Giant Robotic General not only is the targeted monster destroyed by all of your monsters are destroyed as well."

"Great!" I muttered.

Chachamaru spoke "Now Battle! Giant Robotic General, attack Naomi with Robotic Blast!"

I watched as Giant Robotic General attacks Naomi with a powerful beam. It strikes her and destroys not only her but all of my monsters as well as damaging my Life Points badly. The blast was too much and I land on my back but I wasn't out just yet My Life Points: 400

"For each monster destroyed" Chachamaru told me "You take one hundred points of damage."

That would make it three of my monsters and I took even more damage. My Life Points: 100

"Kasumi..." Katara muttered.

"She's about to lose!" Sokka shouted.

Aang watches me "I can't believe Chachamaru hit her that hard right then."

"It doesn't look good" Kakashi-Papa agreed "With Kasumi being at her last One hundred life Points left, no monsters on the field, no Spell or Trap Cards ether."

"Even if she did" Iruka-Sensei muttered "Chachamaru could destroy her Spell and Trap Cards, does she really have a chance to win?"

"This is Lady Kasumi" Haku said "It may look grim but she won't surrender that easily. She can turn this Duel around."

"Haku's right!" Hanabi said "Lady Kasumi's been placed in harder situations than this!"

Naruto agreed "COME ON SIS! I know you can do it!"

I gave Naruto a smile as he was right. Even though it took a while for me to get onto my feet in the process...Let's face it Chachamaru's latest attack hit me hard enough to wipe me off my feet.

"Still going to fight on?" Chachamaru asked "You're probability of winning is 1 percent now. You don't have any Monsters that can over come a forty five Hundred attack point creature. Even if you had a Trap Card, I'll use my monster's effect to get stronger. Just in case you may have something I activate Continuous Spell Card Level Limit- Area B, and just like Gravity Bind, you can't attack me with monsters that are level four or more and if you do Summon them they are changed into Defense mode!"

I look at Chachamaru "A Duel isn't done till my Life Points are used up! It's my move, I draw!"

I drew my card "I activate Spell Card: Fallen Comrades! This Spell Card allows me to draw one card for each monster in my graveyard!"

Ghostly faces of my monsters Cleric Mist, Knight Meg, Herone Leanne, Michiah Maiden of Dawn and Archer Naomi appear allowing me to draw five more cards. I drew them then looked at my hand then to Chachamaru "This new hand has given me the power to end this Duel this turn!"

"Hard for me to believe that" Chachamaru told me.

"You aren't that bad of a Duelist" I told Chachamaru in an honest tone "Actually even my father would've struggled against you. Heck even Uncle Jack would if you played your cards right. Well let me show you. I activate Spell Card: The Song of Life!"

Chachamaru pauses listening to this as I explained it "I can activate this Spell Card if ether Cleric Mist is in my Graveyard or a Monster with 'Heron' is in it. With it I can return all monsters that you destroyed by battle or card effect on your last turn!"

Chachamaru watches as Michiah Maiden of Dawn Return, Archer Naomi, and Knight Meg appears back on the field and since Michiah was the first one out, she increased everyone's attack points by 500 ATK: 2900, 1700, 1900

"Next" I announced "I summon my third Level four Monster, Swordmaster Mia!"

Swordmaster Mia appears on my side of the field ATK: 1800-2300

"None of your monsters can stand up to my monster! Plus none of those monsters can attack me thanks to Level Limit B on the field" Chachamaru told me.

"True" I admitted seeing my monsters change into defense mode DEF: 2000, 1000, 1600, 1200

"However" I told her "When I told you this is the turn I win, I really meant it! You see I received a new card this morning when I woke up! And it's the time I use it!"

"New Card?" Chachamaru asked as I could see this overthrew her.

"Yep!" I told her as a dark void appeared over my head "I build the Overlay Network, and overlay Archer Naomi, Knight Meg, and Swordmaster Mia, in order to XYZ Summon Zeus's Heroic Knight!"
My three Level four monsters all disappeared into the black void and when they appeared a knight in shining armor on horseback appeared. He had a purple cape resembling Zeus's robe color. The horse was gold too and he had a yellow electrical lance, as well as a perfectly yellow Greek like shield ATK: 3000

"He's still not strong enough!" Chachamaru told me "Plus with my Giant Robotic General's effect he loses fifteen hundred attack points."

I gave out a smirk "Open your eyes Chachamaru!"

Chachamaru watches as Zeus's Heroic Knight's attack points went untouched "HOW?"

"Zeus's Heroic Knight's special ability" I told her "As his name suggest he's a very proud warrior and defender of the Greek God Zeus! He's unaffected by any card effect that lowers attack or defense points. That all comes with just him being summoned, he has another effect which I'll do it shortly. Plus Michiah is still out on the field making him stronger!"

"My my monster is still stronger!" Chachamaru warned me seeing this 3000-3500 "Plus your monsters can't attack me."

"Normal Level monsters like Michiah can't thanks to Level Limit B" I admitted then I eyed her seriously "But XYZ Monsters HAVE NO LEVEL to begin with!"

"What the?" Chachamaru asked "No way!"

"Oh yes way!" I told her smiling "Which means cards like Gravity Bind and Level Limit B have NO effect on XYZ Monsters!"

Chachamaru looked surprised for once, she must've known what monsters my deck had before my XYZ monster appeared. Now this changed the ball game.

I then spoke "I now activate Zeus's Heroic Knight's special ability, by detaching one of his Overlay units, I can half the attack points of one monster on my opponent's field then inflict damage to my opponent equal to the same amount of damage your monster's attack points were halved by."

Chachamaru heard this "Rats! I thought I had you!"

She and I watches as Zeus's Heroic Knight gathered in lightning in it's lance then shot it out at Giant Robotic General. The robotic monster strumbles as the lightning went right threw it striking Chachamaru. She kneels on the ground as her Life Points fell.

Chachamaru's Life Points: 400

"Now" I told her "That was just my monster's special effect, now it's time for my monster to end this! Zeus's Heroic Knight attack Giant Robotic General, Charging Lightning Joust!"

Chachamaru watches as lightning swirled around my XYZ Monster, it came charging towards Giant Robotic General, it's lance and shield cracking with lightning. At the last second it lunges it's lance piercing and going right through Chachamaru's monster destroying it and ending the duel in my victory!

Chachamaru's Life Points: 0

"She did it!" Naruto shouted.

"Way to go Lady Kasumi!" Hanabi and Haku shouted.

"We really shouldn't have doubted her" Sokka told Aang.

Aang turned to him "Anything can happen during a Duel. Lady Kasumi won that one and we got to finally see an XYZ Monster."

"They can be quite formidable" Kakashi-Papa admitted "That was my second time seeing one."

I turned to Chachamaru "I await this Chou-lin's appearance. If she wants to Duel me herself that's fine. But unless she defeats me in a Duel I'm not joining anyone whom has world domination in mind."

Chachamaru nods "You did well...I'm amazed you managed to defeat me like that. My Mistress nor Chou-Lin had informed me you had an XYZ Monster. I'll take my leave try to expect Chou Lin to finally meet you one day."

"I will" I told her.

Chachamaru vanished as I now looked at my XYZ Monster's complete picture in it's card format. Sure enough Zeus's Heroic Knight was a rank four monster but needed three level four monsters, I doubted many other XYZ Monsters required three, most likely most had two. I now had a feeling it was Zeus that gave me this card simply as a way to apologize for not helping to save me when I was in need of his help the most. With this in mind he ended up giving me two cards, Olympian Dragon and Zeus's Heroic Knight. I smiled looking at my new card thinking Thanks Zeus. I'll treasure this card greatly.

I returned my attention outside it was still sand storming.

"We'll continue our journey once it stops" Iruka-Sensei told me.

"Good idea" I said, I turned my attention to Sokka and Aang "No more Cactus Juice!"

"Trust me" Naruto told me "I won't do that again! I don't even like being compared to Granny Tsunade when she's drunk! So that's enough for me to stay away from it."

"It wasn't so bad now was it?" Sokka asked.

Naruto glared at him "You eat something that you thought was food...Off the cave's wall."

"And he thought someone lit Toph on Fire" I muttered.

Naruto unbuttons his jacket and sand fell out of it as he asked "How did sand get up my jacket?"

Hanabi smirked out the answer getting my brother to blush "You could say you were swimming in an ocean that Sokka thought was one when it was sand, under the influence of Cactus Juice."

Naruto paused letting this settle "...How many saw that?"

"All of us" was the response.

"Except for me" Toph told him.

While everyone was talking now I looked around hoping a meeting with this Chou-Lin wouldn't have an impact on this mission. As the sand storm raged on, we were pinned inside the cave.

A new chapter has been officially over! Sorry guys I had to get Sokka on Cactus Juice, I tried to combined that as if it was in the episode but shorter. Plus I did get Naruto involved in it, I think it is something a younger Naruto would do as well.

Kasumi: Hello everyone, I'm back and refreshed, today we have some interesting new cards today so let's see how many we will be seeing today.

Chachamaru appears: Thanks for inviting me Lady Kasumi. I do hope we can work together in the future.

Kasumi: If it's whatever this Chou-lin has in mind forget it, if not it's something we could do. Anyway let's see how many cards we're doing today.

Chachamaru pulls the lever and after numbers spin it finally lands on a three!

Kasumi: Three cards!

Chachamaru: Now please don't go looking for these cards as all three featured are made up.

Kasumi: The first card is...

Robotic Maid

Level: 3

Type: Machine/Effect

Attribute: EARTH

ATK: 1000, DEF: 1500

Effect: If you have another Machine Type Monster, this card can't be targeted by an attack. If your opponent activates a Continuous Trap Card, this card negates and destroy that Trap Card.

Kasumi: Interesting...I knew it had another effect

Chachamaru: You didn't get to play much Trap Cards

Kasumi: Thanks to your Jinzo...

Chachamaru: Indeed, now the next card is.

Giant Robotic General

Type: Machine/Effect

Attribute: DARK

ATK: 3000, DEF: 2500

Effect: This Card can't be Special Summon and only Tribute Summoned by Machine Type Monsters. During the turn this is Summoned and everyone of your Stand By Phases this card can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field, increase the attack points of this card by five hundred for every Spell and Trap Card destroyed while decreasing all of your opponent Monster's attack points. If this card attacks and destroys one monster on your opponent's side of the field, destroy all other monsters your opponent controls and inflict 100 points of damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed by battle or this card's effect. This Card can't attack your opponent directly.

Kasumi: That card nearly got the best of me!

Chachamaru: It nearly did. As you can see it's a devastating Monster to Battle against but you managed to.

Kasumi: Right, now the last card is...

Zeus's Heroic Knight

Type: XYZ/Warrior/Effect

Attribute: LIGHT

ATK: 3000, DEF: 2300

Requirements Three Level 4 Warrior Monsters

Effect: This Card is unaffected by any of your Opponent's Card Effects that lowers ATK or DEF points. Once per turn you can detach one Overlay unit from this card to the Graveyard, select 1 monster your opponent controls and half it's ATK points, inflict the same amount of damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Next chapter is Split Apart P1: When the group is attacked by the Fire Nation, Aang, Haku, Hanabi, Kasumi and Toph end up falling into a dimension where Kasumi runs across a rare baby Vulpix. Can our four heroes reach their friends while helping the baby Vulpix find it's mother?

Yes this next chapter is going to lead to a mini Pokemon arch and another adventure.
