Chapter 28: Split Apart Part 4, Hanabi vs. Toph Conclusion

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

We were still in the world of Pokemon. What I mean by we was Aang, Haku, Hanabi, Toph and myself were still in the world of Pokemon. I still had the baby Vulpix on my shoulder with Takara sitting at my right. I along with Ash, Brock, Dawn, Officer Jenny, with my friends Aang, Haku were watching an intense Duel between Hanabi and Toph. I had to admit it was a Duel worth to see. Just when one of the two would have an advantage over the other, the other would swiftly counter. Let's back it up a bit and bring you up to stats starting with my best friend Hanabi. Hanabi had 1900 Life Points left, she had her Synchro Monster Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar a real terrifying monster for an opponent to deal with in it's own right with 2600 attack points and Alien Infiltrator equipped with the Equip Spell Card Strike Force Armor giving the level three Alien Monster 1600 attack points. She also had Otherworld-The A Zone out of the field, Field Barrier, and a face-down card that I knew was Call of the Haunted. Honestly Hanabi had the advantage now with those two monsters, Toph managed to get by on Hanabi's last turn by playing Enchanted Javelin to protect herself from Alien Inflitrator's direct attack from wiping her out. Toph's Life Points were 1300 and she just now brought out a Gem-Knight, Gem-Knight Garnet.

"I hope you are ready for a rude awakening Hanabi" Toph told my best friend.

"I think you are the one that has that!" Hanabi shot back "As powerful as your Gem-Knight Garnet is he's not strong enough from Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar...Maybe Alien Infiltrator but it's certainly not looking to be your game at the moment!"
"Hanabi's right you know" Ash admitted "The only reason why she didn't destroy your Gem-Knight Garnet was because your Trap Card Gem Strike prevented it's destruction by card effect till the end of your turn."

"Looks can be deceiving" Toph told them "My other Rock Type Monsters may have let me down against Aang, and Lady Kasumi but my Gem-Knights have never let me down! Since you ended your turn Hanabi, it's time for me to show you some true terror, it's my move, I draw!"

Toph drew her card then checked her hand by rubbing her fingers across the brail card she held. She then smiled "Oh, what the heck? Let me show you right now. I summon Gem-Knight Sapphire to the field!"

Gem-Knight Sapphire appears on the field this Gem-Knight looked like a beautiful rock type Sapphire knight warrior ATK: 0

"No attack points?" Ash asked.

"Plus that's a Normal Monster" I admitted.

"Oh Lady Kasumi" Toph told me "Don't count me down just yet."

She eyes Hanabi "It's true my Gem-Knights aren't strong enough to take on your Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar alone, but they also act like Elemental Heros or Destiny Heroes."

Hanabi got it "That means...There are a lot of Fusions for them!"

"Correct!" Toph told her "So why don't I show you one, I active the Spell Card: Gem-Knight Fusion!"

A Spell Card was played as Toph smiles "Now, this Spell Card is a lot like Polymerization! Instead only used for Gem-Knights, and I'll Fuse my Gem-Knight Garnet with my Gem-Knight Sapphire both of which are on the field in order to Fusion Summon: Gem-Knight Ruby!

Toph's two Gem-Knights fused together and formed on new Gem-Knight made of the gem-stone ruby and it held an axe as it's weapon. ATK: 2500

Hanabi saw the attack "He's still not strong enough!"

"Not right now he's not" Toph agreed "But he's stronger than one of your monsters! Battle, Gem-Knight Ruby, attack Alien Infiltrator! Ruby Axe Slash!"

Hanabi watched Toph's new monster come at her Alien Infiltrator and knew that the battle damage was going to hurt her if she allowed this to go threw "Not so fast Toph! I activate Strike Force Armor's other effect, by discarding it from my monster and sending it to the Graveyard, I can prevent it's Destruction by Battle for that one attack and any battle damage I'd take is zero!"

Toph's monster swung it's axe at Alien Infiltrator but due to Hanabi's Strike Force Armor's effect it withstood the blast and wasn't destroyed, nor were her Life Points affected but Alien Inflitrator's attack points returned to normal. 1600-800

"You got out of that one" Toph admitted "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."

"It's my move" Hanabi announced "I draw!"

She drew her card "I'll activate my Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar's special ability!"

"No you won't" Toph told her "Because I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card: Book of Moon!"

Hanabi blinks hearing this as Toph smirked "Book of Moon allows me to put one of your Monsters in Face-Down Defense mode! And I choose your Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar!"

The blue book with a moon symbol on it flung itself at Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar switching it into defense mode.

"I'm risking this then" Hanabi muttered "Battle! Alien Infiltrator attack Toph's Life Points directly! Alien Shocking!"

Alien Inflitrator comes at Toph and delivers a painful shock to her which strikes her and lowers her Life Points. Toph's Life Points: 500

"One more attack" Hanabi told Toph "and your finished!"

She checked her hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn!"

"It's my move" Toph announced "I draw!"

She drew her card then smiled "It's you that should've thought of a better defense, my Gem-Knights are about to deal some big time damage! I summon Gem-Knight Obsidian in attack mode!"

A pitch black Gem-Knight appeared on the field ATK: 1500

"Battle!" Toph announced "Gem-Knight Ruby, attack Hanabi's Alien Infiltrator! Ruby Axe Slash!"

"I knew you'd try that!" Hanabi announced "I activate my Trap Card Switch!"

Her Face-down activated "Now whenever you call out an attack with your monsters or use an effect that targets one of my monsters with Switch I get to decide which monster you target and I choose my defense monster!"

Toph just grinned "You fell for my own trap! That's the monster I wanted to go after to begin with"

"What do you mean?" Hanabi demanded "My monster's in defense mode...UNLESS!"

Toph smirked waving a finger at her "Why that's right! When Gem-Knight Ruby attacks a monster in defense mode and it's attack points are higher than your monsters then you take piercing damage!"

Hanabi watches as Gem-Knight Ruby changed direction and came at her Synchro Monster which was in face-down defense position. Gem-Knight Ruby leaps then slashes Hanabi's Monster destroying it and delivering piercing damage. Hanabi's Life Points: 1300

"I still have one more monster to attack with" Toph told her "Gem-Knight Obsidian attack Alien Infiltrator! Pitch Black Earthly Charge!"

Gem-Knight Obsidian comes at Hanabi's second Alien Monster striking it and destroying it while delivering even more damage to Hanabi's Life Points. Hanabi's Life Points: 700

"Looks like my Gem-Knights got you in a pickle" Toph told Hanabi "I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your face-down card!"

Hanabi grits her teeth as Toph's Quick-Play Spell Card destroyed her Call of the Haunted Trap Card.

"Turn end" Toph told her.

Brock watches this "Amazing!"

Dawn agreed "Yeah...It's really amazing. Toph's Gem-Knights have Hanabi in a bind."

"With Ruby delivering piercing damage" Officer Jenny said "And with an attack of twenty-five hundred."

"Hanabi's not finished yet" I warned them as I believed in Hanabi to prevail in this Duel "Sure she's in a pickle but just like Toph had a great turn...She can have them too."

"But she has seven hundred Life Points left. Plus Ruby delivers piercing damage" Ash told me "How can Hanabi turn this around?"

I gave him and Pikachu a small smile "This situation may look impossible to your eyes, but I've taught both my brother and Hanabi this, it's never give up and believe in yourself no matter how hard the situation looks."

"Lady Kasumi is right" Haku admitted agreeing with me "Hanabi's not finished yet, not until her Life Points are finished."

Hanabi heard my words and smiled thinking Lady Kasumi's right, she taught me all I need to know about Duel Monsters and continues to teach me in our spare time! I'll prove Toph wrong.

She eyes Toph "You may have the advantage now, but I'll hang in there! It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card then checked her hand "Not bad, I summon the Alien Princess Tuner Monster!"

A female reptile alien monster appears on the field ATK: 1000

"A new Alien Monster I see" Toph told her "That still won't help you."

"We'll see" I told her "You see when Alien Princess is summoned onto the field I get to Special Summon Alien Royal Knight from my deck but it can't attack during the turn it's special summoned!"

Another new Alien Monster appears on Hanabi's side of the field ATK: 2200.

Toph blinks "A level five monster?"

"Correct" Hanabi told her "And I'm going to tune my Level three Alien Princess with my Level five Alien Royal Knight."

Alien Princess split into three rings which scanned the level five Alien Royal Knight while Hanabi chants out "For the safety of the stars, our hopes and the future become a reality, Rise, Synchro Summon...Alien War Machine!

"Another Synchro Summon?" Dawn asked as a bright flash or white light erupted onto the field "She got lucky!"

I watched as a new Alien Monster a Synchro appeared ATK: 2700

This new robot looked reptile like but looked robotic.

"Where is your ace Alien Dragon?" Toph asked Hanabi "It was hoping you'd Synchro Summon her too."

Hanabi smiled "Why so you can dust her? I'll be happy to bring her out but Alien War Android is about to deal me some good! Now we'll Battle!"

Toph braces herself "Go on depending on who your targeting I'll survive!"

Hanabi smiled "We'll see, and now Alien War Android attack her Gem-Knight Ruby! With Neutralizing Ray!"

Alien War Machine took aim with one hand and fired a huge blast from it's left arm which strikes and destroys Gem-Knight Ruby.

Toph braced herself as her monster was destroyed and her Life Points fell.

Toph's Life Points: 300

"We're not done!" Hanabi told Toph "When Alien War Machine destroys a monster by battle, it gains one A Counter to put on himself."

"Why would you do that?" Toph asked Hanabi "Now your monster could lose three hundred attack points!"

Hanabi grinned "I won't say much but I will say this Alien War Machine's attack points aren't affected by any type of Counters make it be A-Counter, or Black Wing Armor Master's Edge Counters. Plus there is another reason which you'll find out soon enough if you dare that is."

Toph frowned hearing that this Synchro Monster had the effect she wasn't looking forward to with her Gem-Knight Ruby's Destruction she watches as an A Counter was placed on Hanabi's own monster.

Hanabi checks her hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."

Pikachu's jaw dropped seeing that Hanabi had somehow hung in there and held her ground "PIKA-PI?"

"Amazing!" Ash announced "That's one in the million!"

"Indeed it is" Brock admitted.

Dawn turned to me "Whose Alien Dragon?"

"That's Hanabi's ace monster" I told her.

"It's my move!" Toph announced "I draw!"

She drew her card "I'll activate Spell Card Gem-Draw!"

She played a new spell card featuring a Gem-Knight "With this Spell Card, I must reveal a Gem-Knight from my hand to you and I get to draw two cards for every Gem-Knight in my Graveyard plus I get to retrieve Gem-Knight Fusion from my Graveyard as well!"

Toph revealed Gem-Knight Emerald and seeing she had three Gem-Knights in her Graveyard she was able to draw six new cards and her Gem-Knight Fusion returned to her hand.

"No way will I be beaten!" Toph told Hanabi "I'll activate Gem-Knight Fusion again, this time fusing Gem-Knight Amber, Gem-Knight Crystal, and Gem-Knight Emerald in my hand in order to Fusion Summon: Gem-Knight Master Diamond!"

Toph's three Gem-Knights in her hand vanished and in there place a new monster appeared a big diamond ATK: 2900

"For every Gem-Knight in my Graveyard, Gem-Knight Master Diamond gains one hundred extra attack points!" Toph told Hanabi.

"Not bad an effect" I admitted.

"So she had three in her Graveyard before and she just sent three more" Ash spoke.

"Six hundred more attack points" Brock said calculating.

"Toph's going for the win" Dawn muttered seeing this. 2900-3500

"We'll see how you like this match up!" Toph told Hanabi "Because now my Master Diamond also has another effect! By removing from play one level seven or below Gem-Knight Fusion Monster from my Graveyard, he gains that monster's attack points and effect!"

Toph removed her Gem-Knight Ruby and even though it cost Master Diamond one hundred points left 3500-3400, it gained twenty-five hundred attack points 3400-5900

"And I'm not done yet!" Toph told Hanabi "I activate Equip Spell Card Megamorph and I'll equip it to Master Diamond! While my Life Points are lower than yours which they are, my monster has it's attack points doubled!"

"DOUBLED?" Ash asked.

"No way!" Brock shouted.

"That'll be a lot of attack!" Dawn agreed "She's already won with just thirty-four hundred."

"Toph wants to make sure it goes threw" Haku muttered.

Hanabi and I watch nervously as we saw the attack of Master Diamond skyrocket. 5900-11800

"That's a lot of monster" Hanabi said.

Pikachu's eyes were wide with fear. The yellow mouse's ears flattened and it even unleashed a shocking attack at Toph's Monster which was unaffected.

Ash looked like he was going to wet himself.
Toph smiled at Hanabi "Now you are in for it! My Master Diamond's going to end this duel in this turn!"

Hanabi held her ground "The attack points are impressive but correct me if I'm wrong your Gem-Knight Master Diamond's effect is only good till the end of your turn."

"Sadly so" Toph admitted "But you are finished when my Master Diamond attacks, not even your Alien War Machine can save you! Battle! Gem-Knight Master Diamond attack Alien War Machine Diamond Slash!"

Gem-Knight Master Diamond came at Hanabi's Alien War Machine as Ash shouts "IF THIS ATTACK CONNECTS IT'S OVER FOR HANABI!"

Hanabi held her ground "I activate the effect of Alien War Machine, by removing one A-Counter from him I can prevent his destruction by battle or card effect one time!"

"That doesn't matter!" Toph told her "My monster's attack points are beyond yours!"

Gem-Knight Master Diamond attacked Hanabi's monster and even when The Gem-Knight's attack connected Hanabi's Monster stood due to Hanabi removing one A-Counter. Hanabi's Life Points however stayed the same Hanabi's Life Points: 700

"What the?" Toph asked her "Don't tell me your A-Counters negate battle damage."

"They don't" Hanabi told Toph then she pointed to her Trap Card which was activate "But my Continuous Trap Card: Ghostly Aliens does.

Toph blinks "What does it do?"

Hanabi answered "Any time I'd suffer battle damage as long as I remove from play one alien Monster from my Graveyard Battle damage is zero! So before your battle damage was calculated I removed Alien Gray from my Graveyard"

"RATS!" Toph muttered "Foiled!"

"You were too busy ranting on beating me" Hanabi told Toph "That you forgot about my Trap Card and Alien War Machine's Special ability."

Toph frowned "True, but before I end my turn, I set my Gem-Knight Obsidian into defense mode!"

Toph puts her monster in defense mode DEF: 1200

Toph ran her fingers through her remaining cards and found a card "I activate Equip Spell Card: Gem Attack Keeper!"

Hanabi watches as Toph explained it's effect "The Gem-Knight Monster equipped with Gem Attack Keeper gets to keep it's attack points the way they are never losing it's current attack but it can still gain them!"

Hanabi frowned seeing that Toph's best monster would continue to have it's attack points the way it was.

"Turn end" Toph said in a triumphant tone.

Hanabi watches this "It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card "There's way more to Duel Monsters than to attack points Toph, Battle, Alien War Machine attack Gem-Knight Obsidian! Neutralizing Ray!"

Alien War Machine took aim and destroyed Toph's Gem-Knight Monster.

"Just like before" Hanabi reminded Toph "My monster gains one A-Counter."

"True" Toph said with a smile "But you have nothing! Plus Master Diamond gains one hundred more attack points!" 11800-11900

Hanabi checks her hand "It's true I don't right now but I activate Spell Card: Delay Draw!"

Toph paused "What's that do?"

Hanabi answered "This spell card allows me to draw two additional cards during my next standby phase."

"If you get one" Toph muttered.

"Turn end" Hanabi announced

"It's my move!" Toph said "I draw!"

She took the risk "The chances of you defeating me are slim now! Battle, Gem-Knight Master Diamond attack Alien War Machine!"

Hanabi spoke "I'll remove my monster's A Counter to prevent it's destruction by this one battle then activate the effect of Ghostly Aliens and I remove from play Alien Mother from my Graveyard to make battle damage zero!"

Master Diamond's attack hit Hanabi's Alien War Android and like before it withstood, then due to Ghostly Alien Hanabi's Life Points were spared.

Toph just grinned "Seeing that you need to destroy one of my own monsters to gain an A Counter on Alien War Machine I won't summon any other Gem-Knight. I'll just end my turn because next turn I win!"

Hanabi eyes her "We'll see, its my move, I draw!"

She drew one card then her Standby Phase lit up "And thanks to Delay Draw, I'm allowed to draw two more cards!"

She drew two more cards from her deck then checked her hand "Toph, you won't be getting the victory!"

"Why not?" Toph asked "My monster has way more attack points than you do!"

"It's not about the attack points" Hanabi told her "When I draw the level two Alien Monster known as Alien Ninja from a card effect or by Draw Phase, I get to special summon it to the field."

A small alien like ninja appeared on the field ATK: 500

"Next" Hanabi said "I'll summon a second Alien Ammonite tuner Monster!"

A second Alien Ammonite came onto Hanabi's side of the field ATK: 500

"Then just like the first Alien Ammonite, I get to Special Summon one level four or below Alien Monster so Alien Warrior can come on back!"

Alien Warrior once again came back onto the field ATK: 1800

Aang smiled seeing this as he turned to me "Count the levels Lady Kasumi."

I did "Alien Ammonite is level one, Alien Warrior is level four so that's five, then Alien Ninja whom is a level two...Makes...A level Seven Synchro Monster!"

Haku turned to me "And we know whose coming right?"

I nodded thinking About time we see Alien Dragon come out...

"I don't know what's coming" Ash told us.

I just grinned "Then know this, Hanabi won with this play."

All were silent and Hanabi turned to Toph "You are just thinking that the more attack points one has the better the outcome, however, my Alien Deck is more than just attacking with pure unstoppable attack but at the moment Toph I have the move needed to win this."

"No you don't!" Toph said.

"I will when I tune my Level one Alien Ammonite with my level two Alien Ninja and level four Alien Warrior!" Hanabi said.

Alien Ammonite split into one huge ring which scanned both Alien Ninja and Alien Warrior as Hanabi chants down "For the safety of the stars, our hopes, dreams and future become a reality, Rise, Synchro Summon...Alien Dragon!"

Out of a bright flash of white light, Alien Dragon appeared on the field ATK: 2800

Ash, Brock, Dawn, Officer Jenny and Pikachu all looked at Hanabi's ace monster.

"So that's" Dawn said "Hanabi's ace...Alien Dragon."

"It looks intimidating" Ash admitted.

"But with that low of an attack" Brock admitted "How can Hanabi pull of the win?"

Hanabi smiles at a nervous looking Toph. Toph knew she was about to lose as she spoke "Rats! You're the first to ever beat me depending on what you do."

Hanabi nods "Correct, I win because I'll activate Alien Dragon's Special ability! Just like your Gem-Knight Master Diamond, once per turn I can look threw my Graveyard and remove from play one Alien Monster or Cosmic Fortress Gol'Gar until the end of my turn Alien Dragon gains the attack of the monster and it's effects!"

"But Hanabi's Aliens don't have much to deal with" Ash told me.

I smiled "Two in Hanabi's Graveyard make this a win for her."

Hanabi decides to go out with the old fashion way "With Alien Dragon's effect I'll remove from play Alien Infiltrator! It allows her to gain Alien Infiltrator's attack points and gain it's effects! Go Alien Dragon, Alien Drain!"

Alien Dragon's tentacles slid into Hanabi's Graveyard and removed Alien Infiltrator from it, Alien Dragon gained Alien Infiltrator's attack and effect. 2800-3600

"Now" Hanabi said to Toph "Battle! Since Alien Dragon is using Alien Infiltrator's effects if she's in an area where you have no Monsters, Spells or Trap Cards she can attack directly! So go Alien Dragon attack Toph directly with Shocking Alien Tentacles!"

Alien Dragon roars gathering electricity around it then unleashed it's tentacles at Toph. Toph's hand was empty minus one or two Gem-Knight Monsters in her hand but she had nothing to protect herself this time and takes Alien Dragon's attack which ended the Duel in Hanabi's victory.

Toph collapses onto the ground as her Life Points dropped to zero.

Toph's Life Points: 0

The field changes back to normal and Hanabi approaches Toph extending her hand towards the Earth Bender "Now do you believe me?"

Toph extended her own hand "I must confess you win this time and you proved you are the Lady Signer's best friend. You never gave up no matter what I did."

"Lady Kasumi has always said to never give up" Hanabi told her "That's what Naruto and I do. We take that to heart. No matter what the situation looks like we'll never give up...Of course you might be able to beat Naruto."

"That'll be another Duel to watch" Haku admitted "Both Hanabi and Naruto love high attack point monsters. I would've loved to see him take on Toph's Gem-Knights."

Toph grinned "Then when we get back I may challenge Naruto to a Duel."

"That was amazing Hanabi!" Dawn said running towards her "I can't believe you managed to pull that off."

Hanabi smiles at her "Thanks Dawn! I had fun."

"You now have three Synchros" I said to Hanabi "Good work."

She nods smiling "It's all thanks to your teaching."

"Wish I could attend her classes" Toph muttered.

"Duel Academy in Konoha is looking for new students" I told her.

Ash turns towards Hanabi and Toph "You two did great!"

"I agree" Brock admitted "All of you went at each other with passion and you both never gave up."

"Thanks you two" Hanabi said.

Haku turned abruptly.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

Aang heard something too and saw a floating platform.

"Team Rocket?" I asked seeing it in the distance.

"They usually use a Meowth head balloon" Ash told us.

"And that doesn't look like a Meowth" I said.

"It's Pokemon Hunter J's platform!" Officer Jenny said.

Haku grabbed his needles "That it is! I think I just saw her."

Hanabi Byuckugan was on "It's her alright."

"How far off is she?" I asked weakly."

Haku bit his lip "Not too far."

"What do we do?" Aang asked me "You're still in no condition to fight."

I sighed out "She must be after the baby Vulpix...She must not get her."

Haku took charge "Hanabi, Toph, you two are with me! We'll take her on head long."

Officer Jenny blinked "She's not a Duelist!"

"True" Toph admitted "But Haku, Hanabi are ninjas, and I'm a mighty fine Earth Bender. We'll cut her off and put a trap for her."

Officer Jenny got it "Oh!"

"I'll come too!" Aang offered

Haku turned to Aang "I want you to watch over the Lady Signer Aang. Plus we need to find the baby Vulpix's mother."

"You're right" Aang admitted.

"Then help protect the Lady Signer" Haku told him.

"Will do" Aang said.

Haku turned to Ash, Brock and Dawn "You three should also escort the Lady Signer with Takara and the baby Vulpix to some place where this Pokemon Hunter J can't find you."

"Count on it!" Ash said.

"Just be careful Lady Kasumi" Hanabi told me "You're still strained."

"I'll try to" I told them "Just be careful yourselves. This Pokemon Hunter J doesn't appear to be like Team Rocket."

Aang turns to Ash "Which way do we go?"

Ash made a decision "To the left! There's another forest near by."

"FOREST!" I shouted then I sighed out "Oh, THAT MEANS RUNNING INTO BUG TYPE POKEMON!"

"Take your pic!" Aang told me "We surrender the baby Vulpix to J if she gets past Haku which is very unlike she's going to be able to, or we go into the forest and take a risk of seeing Bug Types."

I hesitate as neither were good options but in my condition I couldn't risk having the baby Vulpix stolen "...Alright."

I followed Ash, Brock, and Dawn. Aang was at my side helping me to follow them. I watched out of the corner of my eye as Haku, Hanabi, Toph with Officer Jenny at their side ran forward of the path where they saw the platform...Oh I knew that if J ran into Haku then Haku would most likely not hesitate to kill her. Takara was running at my side as we fine a forest and enter it. Once in the forest, I kept looking right, left, down and up. I didn't want to run into any Bug Types.

"She's very scared of bugs" Ash muttered "She reminds me of my friend Misty."

"Misty feared them too" Brock reminded him.

"Almost all girls I know have some fear of bugs" I told them.

Aang turns around listening to the background. Then I tripped over someone's head and that someone was James from Team Rocket. He had just poked his head out of the ground and was groaning "Oh...What happened?"

"You dimwit!" Jessie berated him "You let her step on you!"

"Team Rocket" I muttered.

Aang was at my side as was Dawn and Brock. The trio saw that Hanabi and Toph weren't with me.

"Those were scary!" James admitted "I mean I NEARLY GOT EATEN BY THAT Muka-Muka!"

I sweat dropped grinning at him as during the Duel between my two friends I did remember Team Rocket trying to dig their way towards Ash's Pikachu only to have wound up between Toph and Hanabi's Dueling fields...Not a good way to be introduced to Duel Monsters but I suppose for Team Clown it worked.

"The Duel is over" Aang told them.

Meowth blinked and saw me a bit weakened "Hey guys! The girl's not well."

I glared at them "Come near the two Vulpix's and you'll regret it."

"Leave them to me and Brock" Ash said "Rest now."

It wasn't long but after a short battle Ash's Pikachu cast Thunder Bolt on Team Rocket sending them flying into the sky.

"That handled them" Brock muttered.

He saw Aang looking around "What's wrong?"

Aang turned to him "I heard a bird like call."

I heard it too and we headed in that direction. There we saw a two headed bird.

"What's that?" Aang asked Ash.

Dawn pointed her Pokedex at the Pokemon "Dodou the Wingless Bird Pokemon. This Pokemon is quite successful at races."

Aang approaches it "Hello Dodou."

The bird turned it's twin heads looking at him.

"If you want it" Ash warned him "You have to capture it."

"We'll see" Aang said "There's more than one way to show it you want it but don't want it to be in a cage."

I turned my head hoping my friends could deal with Pokemon Hunter J "I don't suppose we can wait till you get this Pokemon Aang."

So we all agreed to let Aang try to get Dodou.

Effect: Activate only when one of your Monsters was Destroyed by Battle, Special Summon 1 Level four or Below Gem-Knight Monster from your deck. The Special Summoned Monster can't be destroyed by Card Effects till the end of the turn.
