Chapter 32: A new Enemy P3

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

It took till evening but we finally managed to get out of that ghost town. It was getting very dark by the time we exited out the ghost town safely. It had gotten so dark that we all agreed to camp out for the night. It was a good idea to, no use trying to rush into things without a clear plan. So while Aang helped Ash and Pikachu find firewood. I sat down with Brock, Dawn, Haku and Hanabi to discuss the current clue that we just received hours ago. Brock was the one that repeated the clue we just had "So, our only clue we have is that he's somewhere around the Shinnoh Region, which means he's around the current region we are in."

"That's a plus isn't it?" Dawn asked me "At least it is to me knowing that he's somewhere in the region we are in."

"That's a major plus!" I admitted "It does help knowing he's in this region so that we won't have to travel far. Although this type of clue won't help us unless we know where exactly in the region he is luckily Arkana, gave us a second clue. Which was Haku?"

Haku answered "He said he's somewhere in a castle in the Shinnoh Region!"

Hanabi looks at Brock as he brought out the town map "Any place where you can hide a castle in the Shinnoh Region?"

"That's exactly what my question was going to be about" Brock admitted studying the map "This castle would have to be well hidden."

"Perhaps in a forest area?" Dawn asked in a voice that was trying to be helpful.

"You could be onto something there Dawn" I told her shivering at the fact that knowing what this could mean when encountering something I didn't want to encounter "I just hope it isn't in the forest area."

"You truly are afraid of Bug Types if you don't like forests" Dawn told me.

I sweat dropped "Bugs and me aren't good friends."

Ash, Aang and Pikachu returned with the firewood as Aang overheard this comment speaking out towards me "Makes me wonder what you'd do if you encounter an Bug Type deck."

I shivered at the thought "I had but that duel was interrupted and didn't conclude anything thanks to the Crimson Dragon showing up. Honestly that was the scariest Duel I had...Well perhaps the 2nd most scary one."

"What was the first?" Ash asked.

"The Duel against Boltose the Lightning Titan" Haku answered for me "The Titan Cards are no laughing matter."

Soon the fire was burning as we still discussed our next pathway forward after of course Brock made the whole group dinner.

"So" I managed to bring up "We have our first two clues which is a good start."

"Indeed" Toph agreed "I find it helpful Marik the Third is in this region. It really helps us because we won't have to travel to another region. All we have to do is look for a castle and then we'll clubber the stuffing out of brainwashing revenge boy."

I gave out a slight giggle, leave it to Toph to come up with an insult. Sokka would have probably done that too but I found Toph's insults music to my ears.

"Big problem there is" Brock told us "We don't know where to look. I'm sure Team Rocket would discover where we are supposed to go forward on this. Lady Kasumi have you informed them on what we learned?"

"Not yet" I said "But I'll be doing that while everyone is sleeping while I take first watch."

"Lady Kasumi..." Hanabi told me "With your strain perhaps you should let me or Haku watch over you too. You're twice as much vulnerable due to you being in that strain."

I smiled at Hanabi "Relax Hanabi, I got Takara watching with me"

I pet my Vulpix's head and she nodded as I asked her "Don't I?"

"Vulpix!" She replied nodding her head as she sat at my side.

I also pet the Snow white baby Vulpix "Plus I got this little one to look after too."

The Snow White Baby Vulpix looked up at me and licked my cheek happily.

"Well, alright" Hanabi said.

"Then what'll happen in the morning?" Ash asked me.

I answered "We'll all decide to go as a group and head out towards a direction where we hope that one of Marik the Third's Rare Hunters could be hiding next."

"Sounds good to me!" Ash said he turns to Pikachu "We'll take second watch then won't we buddy?"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu agreed.

"Even though I'm sure no one would attack us" Ash told me.

I smiled at him "Normally one could go about their business like that. However I know the Rare Hunters are out there, and wouldn't think twice about kidnapping us or just a few of us."

"She's right" Haku said "As bad as I made Arkana out to be, Rare Hunters back in Duelist kingdom were known to be crafty and some even kidnapped Yugi's friends."

"What would happen if they grab us?" Dawn asked in a horrified voice.

Haku answered her sternly "No doubt Marik the Third would do what his father did to Joey Wheeler and Tea Gardner when his father got them...Marik the Third would brainwash you with the Millennium Rod to try to use you against me."

Dawn gulps looking at Ash "Don't mess up when it comes to your shift!"

Ash looks at her "I've never done night shifting before, but how hard can it be Dawn? I'm positive no one will sneak up on us tonight."

"You can't tell with enemies you haven't fought before" Haku warned him "As shinobi, even Kasumi knows the value of watching your back."

Pikachu sighs as he agreed with Dawn and Haku "Pika..."

"What makes you say that it could happen tonight?" Ash asked "Marik said he wasn't coming out."

"He doesn't have to" Hanabi warned "When he has an army of brainwashed people to do the job for him."

Aang agreed "It's best to always be on guard for no on, Marik knows we are onto him and that Kasumi is a dangerous Duelist to go up against. I do see him wanting to take her out by kidnapping one of her closest friends just to buy more time for his insane plan."

"Alright then" Ash admitted "Pikachu and I will be very careful."

Haku looks at Hanabi whispering to her "Don't worry about Lady Kasumi, I got her back."

"I trust you" Hanabi told him.

"Then I'll watch Ash's back when it's our turn" Aang suggested.

"Good idea" I told him.

With this said everyone got ready for the night while I spent the night on first watch. Sure I might've been recovering from my strain but I knew what was at stake here. As I looked at Dawn whom was sleeping I didn't want her to experience what Tea went threw in being brainwashed and used against Yugi well mostly it was Joey that was brainwashed and used. I felt a little bit of sympathy for her and watched her in her barefeet sleep in her makeshift tent along with her Piplup. It turns out that even when my psychic powers were strained that I felt as if danger would find us. At first as my two hour long night shift began it was peaceful and calm almost like any night in this world. I could feel Haku watching my back from a safe but respectable distance even he knew what was at stake here. I was also true to my word and while they had slept informed Team Rocket about the latest info. Meowth would reply that the three would when morning came would investigate where a possible castle could be hiding as well as any other info about Rare Hunters and where they'd look. I was getting a little tired. I got up and walked towards a stream that was next to our campsite and used it's cool water to put onto my face. This worked and I removed my sandals to put my feet into the water. As I was letting this happen I felt as if I was being watched almost as if I was being stalked.

"Haku?..." I asked feeling uncomfortable "Is that you?"

I heard the sounds of something moving about in the bushes. I saw Takara standing guard eyes glaring and she shouted "VULPIX!"

I now knew something was there as I quickly jumped to my feet and put my sandals on and grabbed a Kunai "Takara, quick use Flamethrower!"

Takara nods rushing forward and she took a deep breathe then unleashed her attack by breathing fire and shouting "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

I watched as her flames roared outward striking something and it shouted "Scisor!"

I wasn't in prime condition to react to what happened next, a net dropped onto me taking me to the ground "What the?"

I then looked upward to see a boy around my age "That's what you get for defeating my Scisor!"

I looked to see what a Scisor looked like a metallic red praying mantis bug like Pokemon. Oh...Why did it have to be bugs?!

I glared at him "If it's yours then why were you spying on me!"

I could feel him studying me "So you're Marik the Third's enemy. A little ten year old girl..."

"A Rare Hunter!" I shouted.

"Oh yes, I am!" The Rare Hunter sneered "I'm the youngest of his Rare Hunters, and I know exactly what I'm going to do...Feed you to my bugs!"

Even though this brought up my worse nightmares when they weren't Psychic Visions, I saw Haku's shadow coming closer "Feed me to your BUGS? EW GROSS!"

"Oh yes" the boy told me seeming to laugh at my words "Only fitting since you took my Scisor-"

While he was talking, a needle came close to his neck in fact it barely struck him in the neck as he fell backwards almost out of the tree. He was clutching his neck "What?" He then felt Haku's presence and and looked to see Haku whom had three nails at his neck with his Sneasle baring it's own claws at the boy's back ready to stab him if it was needed to "Want to rephrase that Rare Hunter?"

"That Masked Ninja!" The Rare Hunter said.

"Yes" Haku said "And luckily Lady Kasumi's voice got to our entire party."

"What's going on?" Dawn asked then she saw me entangled in a net then rushes to help me out of the net "Oh, Lady Kasumi!"

Brock saw a fainted Scisor which looked really burnt by the way, then he saw a stream then got it as he looked at the boy "Why were you spying on us?"

The boy smirks as it was then I noticed he was a Shadow Clone "Why not? I wanted to capture the Lady Signer, so I could force one of you to come looking for her!"

He then reappears at the back of us and this was the real one I saw him smiled "Of course, I still plan to do that!"

He grabbed a Pokeball and threw it "Pincer come on out!"

I watched as another Pokemon appeared this time a Pincer, I almost nearly fainted myself at the sight of Pincer in fact I wanted to but Hanabi caught me and turned my head around "Don't look!"

"Easier said than done" I muttered weakly "I already saw it and don't like what I saw."

"Pincer take her down with X-Scisor!"

I didn't need to know what was coming as Ash interfered "No way! Quick, Pikachu, Thunder Bolt!"

Pikachu nodded his head jumping off Ash's shoulder shouting "PIIIIKKKAAACCCHHHUUU!"

The yellow electric mouse sent out a powerful electrical charge at Pincer it strikes Pincer head on but it wasn't enough as Pincer seems to compete it's attack using it's claws and cutting out with them in shape of an X.

"Pika!" Pikachu shouts being struck and blown back.

"Pikachu!" Ash shouted "Are you okay buddy?"

"Pika!" Pikachu replied.

"Great!" Ash said "Now Pikachu Quick Attack let's go!"

I get up "I'll help you against that thing Ash! Takara, Flamethrower once more!"

Takara rushes forward nodding "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

"Alright Pincer you know the drill dodge Pikachu's attack then underground!" the boy announced.

Pikachu came at Pincer but the boy's pincer dodged the attack and then just as Takara's attack reached it, it seemed to jump and borrow underground.

"Uh-oh!" Ash muttered "This could be bad!"

I knew how to counter this "Trust me on this one Ash,"

"Alright" Ash said.

I looked at Takara whom was keeping her posture although Ash's Pikachu looked alarm. I then spoke "Takara, Pikachu, close your eyes and try to antipate it's next move and use that move against him!"

Ash blinked "What good will that do?"

I gave out a smile "You'll see."

Pikachu and Takara obeyed my command, although Takara willingly decided to do that with Pikachu looking confused and trying to do so. Then as if on cue Takara and Pikachu felt the ground erupt and jump into the air and backflipped over the attack. It is then Ash saw that Pikachu and Takara avoided the attack. I smiled as Takara unleashed her Confuse Ray at the Pincer without having to be told and Ash got it "Okay, Pikachu now use Iron Tail!"

Pikachu nods "Pika!"

I watched as Pikachu's Tail seemed to be encase itself in iron then he whipped out at Pincer's face. The bug fell backwards stunned and confused.

I then nod to Takara "Takara use Flamethrower!"

Takara nods opening her mouth and unleashed her Flamethrower with a mighty "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

The flames hit Pincer and stopping it in it's tracks but it still wasn't enough to finish it off and I looked stunned "Shouldn't that have finished it off?"

Brock studied the Pincer "It should've...It looked like it may have eaten a Orca Berry which reduces Fire Type Supereffective damage."

"In that case" Ash suggested "Pikachu use Volt Tackle to finish the Pincer off!"

Pikachu agreed rushing forward with electricity forming around it "Pika pika pika pika!"

The boy then held up a white flag "I surrender don't finish off my prized fighting Pincer!"

"Hugh?" Ash asked "Weren't you the one that wanted to capture our friend Kasumi here and feed her to your bugs?"

I shivered "Don't remind me of that supposed fate."

It is then I suspected something "ASH! TELL PIKACHU TO CONTINUE IT'S ATTACK!"

The boy sneered as Pikachu had already stopped his attack midway "Pincer use Stone-Edge!"

The Pincer nods gathering in powerful stones and it hurled them at both Pikachu and Takara.

"PIKA!" Pikachu shouted

"Vulpix!" Takara shouted as well as the two Pokemon are flung backwards.

Pikachu was knocked out but Takara still held onto herself but was very weak.

"Pikachu!" Ash shouted rushing over to Pikachu.

"Takara!" I shouted seeing Takara trying her best to get up even I knew she was weak.

"That was mean!" Aang told the boy "You cheated!"

"I could've told you that" Toph told us "That boy was pulling a fast one so his Pincer could win against Ash's Pikachu and deal terrible damage to Lady Kasumi's Takara."

The boy chuckled evilly as Ash's Pikachu seemed to vanish.

"Pikachu!" Ash shouted seeing this "What happened?"

"Good question" I admitted.

The boy smiled holding up a card containing Pikachu's soul "I merely sent him to this Shadow Rhelm, but don't worry he won't be the only one to be sent their for Takara's next! Pincer take her out with another Stone-Edge!"

Aang thought fast "Dodou, Quick-Attack now!"

Dodou, Aang's Pokemon quickly rushes in on the boy's Pincer and this time it was a direct hit causing Pincer to stumble and misfiring a Stone Edge which nearly got Hanabi had Toph not Earth Bended to save her and I saw my chance as Takara stood on her legs "Are you okay Takara?"

"Vulpix!" Takara said nodding it's head it glared at the Pincer as I nodded "Takara Quick-Attack!"

Takara rushes at the Pincer but the boy spoke "I'll be winning your Takara's soul too! Pincer, Protect!"

I actually gave out a smile "Thought you'd try something like that. Takara cease!"

The Pincer tried to form a barrier to protect itself from Takara's attack but Takara stopped just short of the barrier when and the boy gasps "No way!"

"Now Takara, Flamethrower at point blank range!" I ordered.

Takara opened it's mouth and unleashed a Flamethrower at Pincer finally defeating it.

"No way!" The boy shouted "My prize winning Pincer!"

He glares at Aang "Why'd you have to mess up my plan?"

"I'm not on your side for one thing" Aang told him "Plus had you not cheated Ash's Pikachu would've defeated it and you knew it! It's not right cheating others out of something like that. If you call a truce it had better be for real and not a fake one!"

I picked up Takara and turned to Brock "Is there anyway we can heal her?"

Brock looked at me "There is, let her rest, I'll take it from here."

I nodded as I turned to the boy "Why cheat like that?"

The boy smirked "Why not choose to fool your opponent like that? It was marvelous and worked...However if you must know I'm one special Rare Hunter that is after Pokemon Souls that fight alongside Marik the Third's trainer foes. The only way in getting Pikachu's soul and body back is to beat me in a Duel."

Haku growls wanting to kill this boy for cheating the way he did "If anything I smell you are going to try to cheat on this one too. Lady Kasumi, let me kill this cheater!"

"But my Pikachu" Ash said to Haku.

I focused in my anger, and I would've allowed Haku to kill this guy, if there was one thing my father and I hated it was cheaters. Had I not been in my strain the boy would've been killed for sure by my powers. I looked at Ash seeing how sad Ash looked, "Haku...Under normal circumstances. I'd say yes, do it, but we gotta save Ash's Pikachu."

"Agreed, I'll get him for what he did" Haku said.

Aang stood up "No, Haku"

"Aang?" Haku asked in surprise to see Aang looking quite angry at the boy.

Now I never known Aang to be completely angry at anyone and this overthrew me seeing him furious. Aang turned to Ash "I'll get Pikachu's soul back, I promise you."

"Thanks" Ash said.

Aang turned to me "I know you'd want to Duel this Rare Hunter"

"Too right I do" I said angrily looking at the boy that stole Pikachu's soul "But at the moment I won't be able to focus in the Duel and would love to obliterate him with my psychic powers...Very well he's yours."

Aang stood looking at the boy "I don't recall you gave us a name. Before that begins, I'd like to know what it is so I can give your boss Marik the Third a part of my mind."

The boy smirked "Why it's Buzz Underwood, son of Weavile Underwood-"

"I thought I recognized that face" I muttered angrily "That cheater."

"What about it?!" Buzz demanded.

"I find it sickening that that cheater found someone to love and passed down his cheating genes" I told him.

"Oh, Lady Kasumi's pissed too" Toph said "You know Buzz. You managed to piss off two very powerful people, the Avatar, and our Signer friend...I never met a more dumber person before than you. At the same time I must congratulate you...You deserve to be beaten by the Avatar and have your soul ripped out of you!

"It is the Avatar who will lose his soul!" Buzz told her.

"It's going to be yours!" Aang told him "If your cheating in a Pokemon Battle, that usually means like your father before you, you also cheat in Duel Monsters...There is a saying in Duel Monsters and it's this cheaters never win in Duel Monsters, maybe in Pokemon like you did now, but not in Duel Monsters...Now let's get this done!"

"Agreed, time for you to join that Pikachu!" Buzz said.

The two activated their Duel Disks, decks were shuffled, and Aang made sure that Buzz didn't cheat while shuffling the deck with Haku equally making sure, then the two Duelist drew their top five cards and shouted "DUEL!"

Aang's Life Points: 4000

Buzz's Life Points: 4000

"I'll start things off!" Buzz announced "I draw!"

Buzz drew his card even without giving Aang time to answer.

"I'll set one monster in defense mode" Buzz announced "Then that'll do for now."

"It's my move" Aang announced "I draw!"

Aang drew his card "Sweet! I summon Wind Magician Level 4 to the field in attack mode!"

A new wind Monster in form of a spellcaster appeared on the field on it's chest was tornado symbol and in it's hands as a scepter. ATK: 1600

"Battle!" Aang announced "Wind Magician Lv4 attack his face-down monster with Cyclone Fury!"

Aang's monster took aim at Buzz's monster with it's scepter then unleashed a powerful gust of wind that shaped itself into a Cyclone in form of a slash. The attacks roars over to the monster as Buzz announced "Too bad for you, my monster was Man-Eater Bug!"

I shivered badly seeing that it was Man-Eater Bug almost now relieved that Aang was facing this guy, this meant Buzz had Insect type Monsters.

"That monster's defense is way too low!" Ash announced.

"Aang's monster destroyed it that's for sure!" Dawn said.

Buzz smirked "But that was costly Mr. Avatar! You see if Man-Eater Bug is attacked while face-down it activates his Flip Effect, allowing me to destroy one monster on the field and I choose you Wind Magician Lv4!"

Aang watches as his Wind Magician took Man-Eater Bug's effect but stayed on the field "Guess again!"

"WHAT?" Buzz demanded "How are you not the one that's cheating? Your Wind Magician Lv4 should've been destroyed."

"Should've?" Aang inquired "Maybe on most cases yes, but not in Wind Magician Lv4's case. You see when destroys a monster by battle, he negates that monster's effect."

Buzz didn't anticipate this "Oh!"

Aang checked his hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn, however when I do end my turn on the turn Wind Magician Lv4 has destroyed a monster, like all Level Monsters, I get the pleasure to search through my deck or Hand, and Special Summon Wind Magician Lv 6!"

Wind Magician Lvl 4 vanished and in it's place was a bigger Wind Magician, bigger and stronger ATK: 2400.

"It's my move!" Buzz announced "I draw!"

He drew his card then checked his hand then laughs.

"What's so funny?" Aang asked.

Buzz answered "This, I summon Basic Insect to the field!"

A small insect monster appeared ATK: 500

"That's nothing compared to Aang's monster" Dawn muttered.

"Careful" I warned her "Buzz is up to something

"And your Signer friend is right" Buzz told us "I activate Spell Card: Pokemove-String Shot!"

A Spell Card is played as Buzz announces it's effect "Now I can only activate this Spell Card when there's an Insect Type Monster on my side of the field, it allows me to reduce your monster's attack points by half and prevents you from attacking me with that monster."

Aang watches as Basic Insect unleashes strings forming a cocoon around Aang's monster halving Aang's monster's attack. 2400-1200

"That's not all Pokemove String shot does" Buzz announced "Now I can tribute one other Insect Type Monster in order to Special Summon any insect type monster with the same attack points or less as the monster I just used it on."

Aang watches as Buzz points to his monster "Say goodbye to Basic Insect and now I Special Summon Giant Hornet Queen!

Aang watches as Basic Insect vanishes and in it's place came out a new monster, it looked exactly like a huge giant hornet with stingers which seemed to extend like wrist blades on it's front two legs as one where a hornet or bee would have it's stinger normally. It also had a queen's crown on it ATK: 2400

"Giant Hornet Queen gains two hundred more attack points for every Insect Type Monster in my Graveyard!" Buzz told Aang.

With this in mind Buzz's monster gained four hundred attack points. 2400-2800

"Now" Buzz announced "Battle, Giant Hornet Queen attack his Wind Magician Lv6. Triple Venomous Sting!"

Giant Hornet Queen took off towards Aang's Monster. Aang watches as Buzz's monster struck his Wind Magician Lv6 destroying it. Aang took damage but only half of it.

Aang's Life Points: 3200

"What gives?" Buzz demanded "Why did you only take eight hundred points of damage?"

Aang answered "Wind Magician Lv6's ability when it's destroyed by battle, any battle damage is halved!"

"Grr..." Buzz shouted "You're starting to bug me hanging in there!"

"Well get used to it" Aang told him "Because I activate my Trap Card: Time Machine!"

A time machine appeared on Aang's side of the field "When a monster I control is destroyed by battle, thanks to Time Machine, I can bring it back, but in Prime condition!"

"Prime condition?" Buzz asked.

Aang nodded "The condition the monster was in prior to you using Your Pokemove String Shot!"

Buzz watches as Wind Magician Lv 6 reappeared on the field freed from the string that was imprisoning it ATK: 2400

"Turn end" Buzz said.

"It's my move!" Aang announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "First, I'll activate Spell Card: Raging Wind! It allows me to draw three cards if I have a Wind Attribute Monster on my side of the field!"

Wind erupted around the dueling field and Aang drew three more cards from his deck "Neat! I activate Spell Card: Level Up!"

I gave out a giggle "So his Wind Magician's about to grow even bigger and possibly to his strongest form."

"That's right" Aang told me as he spoke to Buzz "Now by sending Wind Magician Lv 6 to the Graveyard, thanks to Level Up, I can Special Summon the strongest Wind Magician Level 8 to the field!"

Wind Magician Lv8 appeared on the field ATK: 3000

"Oh, nuts!" Buzz announced "Giant Hornet Queen is weaker!"

"You bet she is!" Aang told him "And she's in for a rude awakening, Battle, Wind Magician Level 8 attack Giant Hornet Queen, Cyclone Superstorm!"

Wind Magician Lv 8 raised it's scepter as Aang spoke the effect "Wind Wind Magician Lv8 attacks a monster it's attack points are halved.

"Nuts!" Buzz announced.

Wind Magician unleashed a powerful Cylone Superstorm spell at Giant Hornet Queen whose attack points were halved 2800-1400.

Buzz watches as Wind Magician's attack hit his monster and he felt incredible damage to his Life Points. Buzz's Life Points: 2400

Buzz then grinned "By removing from play one Insect Type Monster my monster can't be destroyed by battle!"

Aang smirked "That's a great ability! However just like Wind Magician Lv4 when wind Magician Lv8 destroys a monster by battle, it negates that monster's effect as well as if he's destroyed by battle any battle damage is halved."

Buzz blinked as his Giant Hornet Queen's effect was also negated and it was certainly destroyed "So it combines..."

Aang nods "You bet! Wind Magician Lv8's ability has Wind Magician Lv4's ability and wind Magician Lv6's ability as well as it's own."

He checks his hand "I'll set two cards face-down and end my turn!"

"My move!" Buzz announces "I draw!"

He drew his card "Now to finish you off Aang,"

Aang watches him "I don't follow, I have Wind Magician Lv8 with three thousand attack points!"

"Aang's gotta point" Dawn told me.

Hanabi watches "Buzz must have something he thinks that can get past Aang's new monster."

"And I do have it" Buzz announced "I activate Field Spell Card: Giant Insect Hive!"

The Field changes to everyone becoming what one would see in a hornet nest or beehive. This grossed me out "Gross...Why would anyone have this Field Spell Card? So disgusting!"

Buzz laughs evilly "Why would I have it? Well it's because of this, Giant Insect Hive allows me to Special Summon Three Insect type monsters from my Graveyard once per turn but only in defense mode with zero defense points!"

Man-Eater Bug, Basic Insect, and Giant Hornet Queen appeared on the field but were in defense mode but they had no defense. DEF: 0 X3

"What's the point of that?" Ash asked.

"Simple" Buzz said "I activate Spell Card: Polymerization!"

Haku watches "Fusion?"

"You'd be correct!" Buzz announced "I'll fuse Man-Eater Bug, Basic Insect and Giant Hornet Queen in order to Fusion Summon Insect Goddess!"

Buzz's three monsters fused together and formed a huge humanoid/Insect Goddess ATK: 4500

"That's stronger than Haku's monster!" Dawn announced.

"That's scary!" Ash said he looked at me "How are you holding up."

I didn't say a word I was too busy shivering and hiding my eyes on both Hanabi and Haku's shoulder to say anything. This new Insect Monster scared me both physically and emotionally "Tell me when Aang beats it you two."

"We will" Hanabi told me.

Haku studies the monster "That certainly is nothing to sneeze at."

"And it gets worse!" Buzz announced "When Insect Goddess attacks battle damage triples and she can attack twice during the Battle Phase!"

Aang heard this knowing this was going to hurt even with his monster's own ability to halve battle damage.

"Now," Buzz announced "Insect Goddess, attack Wind Magician Lv8 with Swarming Insects!"

Insect Goddess sent out a powerful swarm of insects at Aang's monster. Aang thought fast "I activate one of my Trap Cards: Wind Shield!"

"Trap Cards can't stop Insect Goddess!" Buzz warned.

"Don't be too sure!" Aang warned "It's no ordinary kind of trap! My Wind Shield, changes my monster into defense mode and only works for "Wind Magician" monsters!"

Buzz watches as Aang's monster slips into defense mode DEF: 2500

"Then I'll activate Quick-Play Spell Card: Hornet Venom, allowing my monster to inflict piercing damage! Besides your monster's about to be destroyed!"

"Wind Shield negates destruction by battle when played!" Aang said.

He watches as Insect Goddess strikes his monster and thanks to Hornet Venom Aang took the battle damage, he was lucky his Wind Magician Lv8 halved battle damage as this saved him.

Aang's Life Points: 400

Aang was lying on the ground injured but he was getting up.

"Now to finish you off!" Buzz announced "Insect Goddess attack Wind Magician again and and this duel!"

Aang gets up at the last second "I activate my second Trap Card: Defense Draw!"

"So" Toph said hearing Aang activated that Trap Card as well "Aang and I both have that card."

"It is a good card" Hanabi said "Making all Battle Damage zero from that one attack."

Aang then looks at Buzz "You heard what Hanabi said, thanks to defense draw I don't take damage and I draw one card!"

Buzz sighed seeing that his monster had failed to defeat Aang in that turn and Aang did draw one card "Lucky brat! I'll finish you off next turn!"

"We'll see about that!" Aang announced "It's my move, I draw!"

Aang drew and smiled "It looks like I'll be winning after all, I summon Elemental Hero Stratos to the field!"

Elemental Hero Stratos appears on the field ATK: 1800

"Next" Aang announced "I'll activate Spell Card: Polymerization!"

"You have fusion too?" Buzz asked.

"You bet!" Aang announced "And I'll fuse Elemental Hero Stratos on the field with Wind Priest in my hand in order to Fusion Summon, Elemental HERO Great Tornado!"

Elemental Hero Great Tornado appeared on the field ATK: 2800

"Big deal!" Buzz announced "My Insect Goddess has way more attack points than your monsters!"

"Or do they?" Aang quizzed.

"Hugh?" Buzz asked.

I smiled knowing Aang won this one.

"What's he talking about?" Ash asked me "Buzz has a point Insect Goddess's has way more attack than any of his."

Aang answered for me and for Buzz's own question "It's quite simple Buzz, you see, when Elemental HERO Great Tornado is Fusion Summoned...All of my opponent Monsters have their attack points halved!"

"What?" Buzz demanded shocked "No way!"

"Oh yes way!" Aang announced "Now Elemental HERO Great Tornado, Unleash Raging Tornado!"

Aang's Fusion Monster unleashed a powerful tornado at Buzz's field halving the attack of Insect Goddess. ATK: 2250

"No, no, no!" Buzz announced "That's not fair! I was supposed to win!"

He reaches for his white flag but Aang knew his game "Sorry! I've already seen you try that on Ash's Pikachu but that's not going to happen! Now I'll switch my Wind Magician Lv8 back into attack mode!"

Wind Magician Lv8 switched modes ATK: 3000

"Now" Aang said "Battle! Wind Magician Lv8, attack Insect Goddess!"

"Normally by removing from play one Insect Type Monster Insect Goddess can't be destroyed by battle" Buzz said.

"Normally yes!" Aang told him "But not against Wind Magician Lv8. Go Wind Magician Lv8 attack Insect Goddess with Cyclone Superstorm! Plus don't forget your monster's attack is halved again when my monster attacks yours!

Buzz watches with horror as his monster had it's attack points halved again ATK: 1125, then Aang's monster attacked Insect Goddess with the same attack it had used earlier on Giant Hornet Queen. Buzz's Monster was destroyed and sense Wind Magician Lv8 destroyed it, it's effect was negated leaving Buzz wide opened as his Life Points fall. Buzz's Life Points: 575

"Now" Aang said to Buzz whom noticed he had no monsters to defend him with "Now, Elemental Hero Great Tornado shall end this by giving you a Direct Attack. Go Great Tornado, attack with Tornado Strike!"

Elemental Hero Great Tornado flies high into the sky then spins around forming a tornado which comes at Buzz striking him and deputing his Life Points.

Buzz's Life Points: 0

Aang's Life Points: 400

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Buzz announced "Where did I go wrong?"

Aang answered as the field returned to normal "By trying to capture Lady Kasumi for one thing, and then for stealing Pikachu's soul for cheating it out of a win. Now do what an honorable Duelist would do and release Ash's Pikachu's soul."

Buzz had no choice but to do so and Pikachu soon returns and Ash hugged him "Pikachu! I'm so relieved.

Buzz now screams "Please, master Marik don't!"

Ash heard this as Marik's voice announced "So that's two of my Rare Hunters down."

"You'll pay for hiring this cheater!" Ash growled not going to forgive Marik for what happened to his Pikachu.

"You Ash Ketchum claim to use Pokemon as a friend yet, you battle with them. Also you side with the Lady Signer on this issue. I also know you teamed up with her ensuring you are going to battle alongside her with my Pokemon Trainer Mind Slaves. You should've known that I would capitalize on this."

"You mean you don't regret it?" Ash asked.

"No! I don't" Marik warned him "I will not only send Rare Hunters that are Duelist but have them have skilled trainers...In fact I think I know one...Want to know whom I'm going to capture?"

Ash eyed the possessed Buzz "My mom?"

"Close" Marik said "But also way incorrect. My spies see her right now...Or two of them...A red haired girl and a brown haired girl with her brother."

"YOU LEAVE MISTY, MAY AND MAX OUT OF THIS!" Ash demanded "You're battle is with us!"

I agreed "Marik the Third...If any harm comes to Ash's friends, I shall make you pay...And make you regret it just as Yugi had done to your father."

Marik glared at Ash and me "So confident you can win...However your bonds Signer with your friends and Ash's own bonds with his other friends shall be his undoing...I shall make him regret his decision to resist me! Now another worthless Mind Slave to dispose of."

"Hey!" Brock announced "he didn't give us a clue!"

Marik mocks Brock "Didn't give you a clue? Well Arkana gave you two! So no hint for you all."

Then just like Arkana there was silence. Ash turned to me "Lady Kasumi! We've gotta find Misty, May and Max and warn them!"

I gave him a nod "Right, but we need to heal our Pokemon that Buzz's Pincer took out."

Ash understood me "You're right."

"Plus it's almost midnight" Dawn yawned.

Ash turned to Aang "Thanks for saving Pikachu by the way."

"If Apa's own soul was taken and you met him and me in my world, you'd probably done the same" Aang said "And you're welcome. I was happy to take him out. He wasn't a pushover though. He nearly got me."

Ash and I now knew Marik was making his move on three of Ash's friends, we could only hope they weren't kidnapped like Joey and Tea were.

Ash and Kasumi appear

Ash: Wow, so this is what this last part of the chapter looks like...Kasumi this is a great honor.

Effect: This Card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of Level up or Wind Magician Lv6. If this card attacks half the attack of the target. If this card destroys a monster by battle that monster's effect(s) is negated. If this Card was attacked half any Battle Damage you'd take.

Kasumi: Aang got a real nice Level monster, I'm not going to lie, I didn't see that one coming.

Ash blinks: Got me too, then again I don't know much about Duel Monsters. The next Card of the Chapter is

Type: Trap

Effect: Target one face up 'Wind Magician' Monster then switch that card to defense mode, until the end of the turn this card was used 'Wind Magician' can't be destroyed by battle.

Ash: That is a great card...I do wonder why it's only for Wind Magician though.

Kasumi: Some cards are like that. I believe it's to make the game easier to understand and not be overpowered. Anyway the next card of the chapter is...ASH, why did you let me get this one!

Ash sweat dropped: Don't tell me it's that card.

Kasumi glares angrily not saying a word but sighs

Insect Goddess

Level: 12

Type: Fusion/Insect/Effect

Attribute: LIGHT

ATK: 4500, DEF: 3800

Requirements: "1 Giant Hornet Queen,+"2 Insect Monsters"

Effect: This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon. This card is unaffected by Spell or Trap Card Effects. This Card can attack twice during the Battle Phase and if it deals Battle Damage, the Battle Damage is tripled.

Kasumi shivers in fright muttering to herself and freezes up.

Ash sweat dropped as he turned towards the exit shouting threw a loudspeaker: HAKU! Please report to the stage, the Lady Signer's froze up again!

Haku's voice can be heard running towards the area to help Kasumi get out: Coming!

Ash turns to the crowd: Well folks that's all Cards of the chapter, sorry it's three cards today but we didn't want to bore you with all the details. Next chapter may have some more made up cards that were featured in this one.
