Chapter 35: A New Enemy P6

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

Lance, Toph, and I were heading back to meet with Ash, Brock and Ash's Pikachu. I had just won my Duel against Lance freeing him from Marik's control. The Dragon Master once freed agreed to fight alongside us to defeat Marik the Third. As expected Ash, Brock, and Pikachu arrived from beating Gary and Sabrina freeing them from Marik's control. They sighted me and Toph. Ash ran over to me "Lady Kasumi!" he then paused seeing Lance "Were you successful?"

"She was" Lance told him "And I see that you and Brock were also successful."

"Gary and Sabrina did give us a hard fight" Ash admitted "But in the end Brock and I were able to beat them and free them."

"That's good" I told them.

"Lady Kasumi barely defeated Lance" Toph muttered to Brock.

"I'm surprised that Lance gave her a challenge being the daughter of Yusei Fudo" Brock admitted.

I smiled at Lance whom spoke "Just because someone is the daughter of a famous Duelist doesn't mean she's not going to struggle."

I nodded "Lance's Dragon Deck really is something to go up against."

Toph turned to me "I'd like to see your brother Naruto try to Duel him."

I thought about it "If Lance wants to travel with us perhaps we can see if Naruto will Duel him, but for now we gotta catch up to Haku and Hanabi whom has a lead over us."

"Good call splitting us up" Lance complimented me.

"Thanks Lance" I told him "Ash, and Brock would've been no match to you."

Lance pulls out a Pokeball "Just in case your friends may need help, allow me to bring out a Pokemon."

I nodded allowing him to throw up the Pokeball shouting "Dragonite! Come on out!"

The Pokeball opens up and a fully grown yellow Dragon appeared out of a flash of light "Dragonite!"

"How cute!" I complimented out seeing the Dragon.

Lance turned to his Pokemon "Dragonite, fly into the sky and follow Kasumi's friends Haku and Hanabi. If they need assistance use Hyper Beam on any foe that looks dangerous."

The Dragon nods taking to the skies "Dragonite!"

It soon flew quickly to get to my friends. I turned to Ash, Brock and Pikachu "Come on you three we gotta get to Max, May, and Misty!"

"Right!" was the response as we tore off in the final direction towards hopefully Ash's friends.

Haku's POV

Hanabi was ahead of me as I carried Dawn in my arms while the two of us leaped from tree limb to tree limb. I didn't know exactly what Lady Kasumi was up against in her Duel against Lance. I worried about the Lady Signer when I was away from her, you see I felt as if if she got into a fight where she could be captured by the enemy, then I would've failed my promise to her mother. Still, even I knew to let the Lady Signer have some space. Sure I was her bodyguard but that shouldn't mean she should have me behind her back especially when even I knew this had to be done. I just wished at the moment it was me staying back but if there was any hope of freeing Lance then Lady Kasumi was the answer.

"Are we close by Hanabi?" Dawn asked.

"I think so" Hanabi replied to her "This trail goes on for miles!"

"Are you detecting anyone close by?" I asked.

"I'm detecting something" Hanabi admitted finally "I see three figures faintly."

"How far away?" I asked her.

"Not too far actually about exactly fifty meters! I see their feet at the edge of my Byugugan!"

"Good work!" Dawn complimented her.

Hanabi smiled as we get closer. Once at least ten meters closer she nods her head "I see two girls and one boy!"

"That's gotta be Ash's friends!" Dawn said.

Hanabi saw something approaching the three "We gotta speed it up guys! They are being approached by possibly Rare Hunters!"

I nod "Let's go!"

Dawn felt me jumping faster and faster "Man you're really serious about this."

"We won't fail Lady Kasumi, if we do all what she, Ash, and Brock did to stop Gary, Sabrina and Lance will be in vane!"

Amazingly we got to the area before the Rare Hunters could. I stood on a tree limb and Hanabi stood on another. This got a boy with glasses to look up at us as only now I had let go of Dawn so she was standing on a tree limb. He looks up at us "Hey May, Misty look up!"

The two girls do "How'd did they get up there?"

Dawn answered "I was carried by Haku here! Um are you by any chance May, Max and Misty?"

"You bet!" Misty said running up "What's wrong?"

"You are in danger" I told her "Way more danger than you think you maybe in."

"Danger?" May asked "From what?"

I reached for my ninja tools grabbing nine needles as we heard rustling sound coming from behind them "Get down you three!"

The three obey me just as three figures emerge from the bushes and I threw the needles. The figures wore cloaks, Rare Hunter Cloaks and the needles hit like a charm. Three on each Rare Hunter and it pinned them to a tree.

"Those are the ones trying to kidnap you!" Hanabi said leaping down alongside with me as we landed in front of them.

Dawn wisely stayed up in the tree, it was probably best she do that as she wasn't a ninja.

"Who are they?" Max asked getting up.

"Rare Hunters!" I answered "That serve Marik the Third whom are trying to capture you three to use you against Ash."

"I'd never serve someone just so he can get even with Ash!" Misty told me.

"Good to see we're on the same page" Hanabi told her "But...Even if you say no...Marik would force you to work for him."

"How?" Max asked.

"He has a weapon known as the Millennium Rod" I warned the young boy "With it, he can take control of anyone by brainwashing them. Even those that are unwilling can't withstand the weapon's power."

"Can it be broken?" May asked.

I looked at her "Not easily...Although there was one Duelist back in Battle City that was able to break free of it's control known as Joey Wheeler. However even after so long since that event it's not really known in history books how he broke free of it."

Hanabi saw more coming "More Rare Hunters approaching!"

I turned arming myself as Hanabi gets ready to fight.

"You aren't fighting them with a Pokemon?" Misty asked looking at my Sneasel?
"We're not going to battle them" Hanabi said seeing that the approaching figures had Duel Disks "Due to them not having Pokemon on them ether."

"Just stay behind us!" I told the three "Reinforcements are coming."

More Rare Hunters did come but froze seeing that Hanabi and I were standing in front of their targets. Hanabi looks at them "It won't matter how many you send at us. You have to take us out first!"

The Rare Hunters thought about it and looked at their numbers but I turned to my Sneasel nodding at it, giving it permission to attack "Use Ice Shard!"

"Sneasel!" Sneasel replied unleashing ice shards at the Rare Hunters.

They fall back but before they could regroup a strong beam came crashing down onto their ranks!

"That came from behind us from behind the sky!" Max shouted.

"However it hit the Rare Hunters!" Misty pointed out.

Hanabi saw something from the sky from her Byucugan "Incoming Pokemon!"

Dawn turned her head to see what the Pokemon is but Max beat her to it "It's a Dragonnite!"

"Haku, Hanabi!" a familiar voice caught my ears "Have you found them?"

I smiled turning my head as I saw a girl running towards me "Lady Kasumi!"

She was running alongside Lance whom spoke "Good job Dragonnite! Keep them at bay a bit more!"

Amazingly the group fully reunites with Ash, and Brock following last. Ash saw Misty "MISTY!"

"Ash?" Misty asked turning around, she was followed by May and Max whom saw Ash approaching them.

"Are you three okay?" Ash asked them.

"We are now thanks to those two" May said pointing to Haku and Hanabi.

"That's good" Ash said with relief.

Kasumi's POV

We had successfully reunited with Ash's three friends May, Max, and Misty. My gamble had played off well. Dawn, Haku, and Hanabi had found them in time. I was watching as more Rare Hunters came to the area but immediately stopped seeing that my friends and I had gotten to Ash's friends first. Ash stood in front of me looking at the Rare Hunters "You lose big time Marik!"

Two figures emerged and they were VERY tall. Haku looked at the ones approaching and grits his teeth "Great...Lady Kasumi...I don't think Marik intends to back away..."

Lance studied the figures crossing his arms around himself as one of the figures emerged "So you beat us to the prey" then the second figure spoke "But that doesn't mean they will go free"

I could've sworn these two figures were speaking in rhymes and Haku now knew them "You two wouldn't be the Paradox Brothers now would you?"

"Who?" Ash asked me.

"Oh I see the masked one has heard of us brother" the first figure said removing his cloak.

"Then let us great our guests with honor! And answer his question for you see," the second figure said removing his cloak to reveal who they really were and both shouted out "We're the Paradox Brothers!"

"Who now?" Ash asked repeating himself "I've never heard of any of you."

The first brother Para spoke first "You might not've heard about us but we shall turn you into ash, for we are excellent Tag Team Duelists"

The second brother Dox spoke next "We now shall demonstrate our skills to take your friends. Back down now or experience the incredible duelist that we are."

Ash turned to me but instead of me or Haku answering it is Lance that spoke "Ash, save your breathe. I've heard of these two brothers. They are incredible Tag Team duelists nearly unbeatable but have lost twice."

"To whom?" Brock asked.

"One to Yugi Muto and Joey Wheeler" Lance answered "During Duelist Kingdom."
"Then they also dueled against Jaden Yuki and Syrus Truesdale in Duel Academy during a duel that would've expelled those two had they had lost" Haku added on "Which in the end Jaden and Syrus were victorious...But it didn't come easy."

"Lady Kasumi!" Hanabi told me "They also brought more Rare Hunters with them!"

I looked to see that there were more coming our way and they were all Duelists and some were Pokemon Trainers. It looked like we had our hands full.

"We brought our entire army to capture those three" Para warned.

"Master Marik will get what he wants from thee" Dox added on.

"Unless two of you beat us in a Tag Duel" Para told us.

"The Army will continue to come until we capture those three" Dox said.

Haku pulls out needles "There's way too many for me to hit and we aren't near any water so I can't freeze them."

I pulled out my Duel Disk getting it ready as I turned to face three other random Rare Hunter Duelists as by now all of us were surrounded "Great!"

"Can you use your Psychic Powers Lady Kasumi to send them all flying?" Hanabi asked.

"Wouldn't get us anywhere" Toph admitted to her "They'll come back for more."

"We have to Battle them all?" Ash asked.

I caught sight of a button Para and Dox had it it looked like it was a button that was allowing them to keep up the numbers "Two of us have to Duel those two!"

"That should be you Lady Kasumi and Haku!" Ash suggested.

Lance knew better "The Lady Signer needs to recover from her duel against me! She's still hurt from the Shadow Duel she had."

"Shadow Duel?" Misty asked.

"We'll explain later" Dawn told her looking at me as I did look worn down.

Hanabi stood up "I'll take one of them on!"

Haku made a moment to help her but Toph thought otherwise "I'll be Hanabi's partner!"

Hanabi turned to her "Hugh?"

Toph eyed her then looked in the direction of the Paradox brothers "I'll be your partner Hanabi...Besides those two don't look that strong."

"Looks can be deceiving" Hanabi reminded her.

"How should I know that about not seeing a Duelist's face?"

"Good point I suppose"

I decided it was our best option "Alright you two...Be careful the Paradox Brothers aren't easy to beat."

"What about the others?" Ash asked me.

I looked at the three Rare Hunters I had activated my Duel Disk on "We'll have to keep them busy by Dueling them!"

Lance agreed being both a Trainer and a Duelist "Dragonite be ready for any Trainer Mind Slave Marik sends at us."

Dragonite nods.

Brock got it "Right! Ash, Dawn, Misty, and May we gotta keep the Trainer ones busy by battling them while the Tag Duel is commencing, and hope Hanabi and Toph can muster out a victory!"

"Alright then!" Ash agreed "Any advice?"

"How about not losing a battle?" I asked reminding him what would happen if he did lose a battle or a Pokemon of his lost one round.

Ash nodded gritting his teeth "I won't forget it."

So multiple Duels were going on and so would be mulitple Pokemon Battles. This was going to be a test to see how long we could last. The biggest duel would be Hanabi and Toph.

Hanabi and Toph stepped up towards the Paradox brothers.

"Looks like our opponents are ladies brother" Para said.

"Indeed which means they'll fall easier then any other foe" Dox said.

"Let's get this over with" Hanabi said.

"I'm not going to like them rhyming" Toph muttered activating their Duel Disks.

Para and Dox did the same and the Duel would commence and both four Duelist drew their top five cards shouting "DUEL!"

Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 8000

Paradox Brother's Life Points: 8000

The girls check their hands as Dox spoke "How about one of you ladies go first?"

"I'll be my pleasure!" Toph said before "It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card "I'll summon my Stone Statue of the Aztecs in defense mode!"

A huge statue appeared in defense mode. DEF: 2000

"That'll do for now. Try to get past it's defenses!"

"That's impressive little blind girl but now we'll tear through your defenses I shall" Para spoke "It's my move, I draw!"

He drew his card "First I summon my Jirai Gumo in attack mode!" ATK: 2200

He summoned a giant insect which nearly made me wet my pants in fact both Misty and I screamed "EWWWWWWWWWWWWW! A BUG!"

"Now for a nice trick!" Para said "I activate the Spell Card: Tribute Doll!"

A spell card was played and Para introduced it's effect "Now by tributing one Monster on my Side of the Field I can Summon one Level 7 or below monster from my hand, so...I'll tribute my Jirai Gumo in order to Summon, Suijin!"

The giant bug disappeared relieving me and Misty but in it's place was a huge water monster that I recognized was one of the Monsters needed for Gate Guardian as I muttered while dueling against one of my opponents "Great...That's just one thing required for a dangerous monster to be summoned" ATK: 2500

"The monster summoned by Tribute Doll can't attack during the turn it came out on" Hanabi told Para.

"That is correct lassie! So I'll end my turn."

Hananbi grits her teeth knowing this wasn't good. If she attacked with a monster over Suijin's attack then Para could make her monster's attack points zero. It wasn't going to be easy defeating this Monster.

She checked her hand "It's my move I draw!"

Hanabi drew her card and checked her hand deciding to go for it "I'll set one monster face-down in defense mode, then set one card face-down and end my turn."

She set one card face-down in defense mode and a set card.

"Is that all you can do?" Toph asked her.

Hanabi looks at her "I know what Para's Monster has as an ability...Besides I don't have any monsters ready to attack that thing yet. Best to play safe."

"Play safe you might be" Dox admitted "But it will be in vain! I summon Kaiser Sea Horse in attack mode!"

A sea horse appeared on the field. ATK: 1700

"Now our monsters shall do battle!" Dox announces "Suijen, destroy Stone Statue of the Aztecs!"

The blue water monster attacked Toph's statue destroying it by literally using a powerful water attack.

"And now my Kaiser Sea Horse shall attack your face-down monster!" Dox announced.

Kaiser Sea Horse now attacked Hanabi's Face-down Monster which was Alien Gray! It burst apart but Hanabi announces it's effect "When Alien Gray is destroyed while face down it activates it's effect! It places an A-Counter on your monster and I get to draw one card!"

An A-Counter was placed on Kaiser Sea Horse but Hanabi knew that if Para got to it that A-Counter wouldn't matter unless Toph managed to destroy it.

Dox smirks "I place one card face-down and it ends my turn!"

Toph notices Hanabi looking a bit worried "No worries, I got this Hanabi, I'll bail us out! It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card "Perfect! I'll summon my Gem-Knight Garnet in attack mode!"

Gem-Knight Garnet appeared on the field. ATK: 1900

"Next," Toph announced "I'll activate the Spell Card: Gem-Knight Fusion!"

She smiles "I'll use it to Fuse my Gem-Knight Garnet on the field with my Gem-Knight Sapphire in my hand"

Gem-Knight Garnet and Gem-Knight Sapphire appear swarming around fusing themselves together as Toph chanted out "Gem-Knight of fire come forward to shine forward your might...Fusion Summon Level Six...Gem-Knight Ruby!"

Gem-Knight Ruby appeared on the field. ATK: 2500

"Now" Toph taunted the Paradox brothers "My Gem-Knight Ruby is at even strength with your Suijin but, he's not my attack target! It's your Kaiser Sea Horse, go Gem-Knight Ruby attack Kaiser Sea Horse with Ruby Axe Slice!"

Toph's Monster charged Kaiser Sea Horse and Dox activated his Trap Card "I activate my Trap Card: Shift!"

Toph blinks as Dox explained it's effect "Thanks to this card I get to choose your opponent and I choose Suijin!"

"That doesn't make sense!" Toph shouted "Both our monsters have the same attack points they'll both be destroyed!"

"Normally that's true" Para explained "But when Suijin is targeted by an opponent's attack I can make your monster's attack points zero during the Battle Phase"

Toph gasped "Then that means!"

Hanabi nods "That's why I wasn't risking an attack. Luckily I have my own Trap Card: Alien Spirit!"

Para sees her "I can activate this Trap Card when I have at least one Alien Monster in my Graveyard, it prevents any sort of Battle Damage that We'd receive!"

Toph watches as her monster's attack went down to 0 due to Suijin's effect but thanks to Hanabi's Trap Card, their Life points were spared.

"That was close" Haku muttered.

Toph frowned "Great...They dodged that one..."

She went into her Main Phase Two "I activate the effect of Gem-Knight Fusion! If it's in the Graveyard, I can remove from play one Gem-Knight Monster and return Gem-KNight Fusion back to my hand! So I'll remove Gem-Knight Sapphire so I can bring back my Gem-Knight Fusion!"

She removed Gem-Knight Sapphire then brought back her Gem-Knight Fusion "Next, I'll set two cards face down and end my turn."

"It's my turn!" Para explained "I draw!"

He drew his card then eyed his brother "Brother, may I borrow your Kaiser Sea Horse?"

"He's all yours Para!" Dox said giving Para his permission "Use my monster to your desire!"

Para nods "I activate Kaiser's Sea Horse's special ability it can count as two tributes when Tribute Summoning a Monster. So I'll bring out Sanga of Thunder!"

Kaiser Sea Horse vanished but in it's place was the second part of Gate Guardian the Thunder one of it. ATK: 2600

Not good! Hanabi thought Just one more piece and they can create Gate Guardian!

"Now" Para explained "Sanga of Thunder shall attack your Gem-Knight Ruby with Thunder Blast!"

Toph watches as Sanga of Thunder strikes her monster with lightning causing it to burst. She felt her Life Points drop "Gem-Knight Ruby!"

Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 7900

She glares at Para "For destroying my Gem-Knight, I activate my Trap Card: Brilliant Spark!"

Toph's Trap Card activated "Now I can activate this Trap Card when a Gem-Knight Monster is destroyed by battle or Card Effect, it'll inflict damage to you equal to my destroyed monster's attack points!"

Para blinks surprised Toph had that Trap Card. I just held back a small smile leave it to Toph to use her Gem-KNights to her advantage. I watched as Paradox Brothers lost a good amount of their Life Points.

Paradox Brother's Life Points: 5500

"Those Life Points shall be avenged!" Para warned Toph "Because you don't have a monster to defend you! So Suijin drown her!"

Toph watches the Water Monster unleash water at her "I activate my Continuous Trap Card: Shadow Spell, it freezes up your attacking monster and prevents it from attacking while losing seven hundred of it's attack points!"

Toph's second Trap Card activated and froze Para's attacking monster causing it to lose seven hundred attack points. 2500-1800

"I place one card face down and it'll end my turn" Para said.

Hanabi looks at the scene knowing Toph made a great play with her Trap Card. She had to keep it up "It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card and checked it out "I summon Alien Infiltrator in attack mode!"

Alien Infiltrator appeared on the field ATK: 800

"Next" Hanabi said "I'll equip my monster with Strike Force Armor! This Equip Spell gives my monster eight hundred more attack points!"

Alien Infiltrator's attack points rose 800-1600.

"Next" Hanabi said "I'll activate Alien Infiltrator's effect, once per turn, I can move him into another Zone and during the Battle Phase if that zone has no Monsters, Spells, or Trap Cards he can attack directly!"

She moves her monster to a place where no Monster, Spell or Trap Cards were in to Suijin's right. Hanabi saw her chance "Battle! Alien Infiltrator, attack Para directly Electrocution!"

"Not so fast. I activate my Trap Card" Para spoke "Guardian Defense!"

Hanabi bit her lip as Para announced the effect "Now while I have either Suijin, or Sangan of Thunder, or Kazejin on the field, I can negate any battle damage and make it zero! Then coming on my brother's Stand By Phase, he can Special Summon Kazejin, Suijin or Sangan of Thunder from his hand!"

Hanabi bit her lip "I'll set one card face down and end my turn."

"It's my turn!" Dox announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "Now thanks to my brother's Trap Card, it's my Stand By Phase, so now I'll Special Summon Kazejin from my deck!"

Wind erupted and when it ended Kazejin appeared. ATK: 2400

"Now we shall Battle!" Dox announced "Kazejin attack Alien Infiltrator!"

Hanabi spoke "When The Alien Monster equipped with Strike Force Armor is attacked, I can discard it to make any Battle Damage 0 for that attack!"

Alien Infiltrator's attack points returned to normal. 1600-800

"So you blocked one attack, but let's see what you do against a second attack!" Dox said "Sangan of Thunder attack her Alien Infiltrator"

Hanabi watches as Sangan of Thunder unleashed a lightning attack at her monster and this was going to hurt "I activate my Trap Card, Defense Draw it makes any Battle Damage I take zero and I get to draw one card!"

Her monster was destroyed but her Life Points were sparred but this left her wide open.

"So you survived that round but next round it's piece out!" Dox warned "Turn end."

"It's my move!" Toph announced "I draw!"

She drew "Next I activate Gem-Knight Return Spell Card, it allows me to bring back one Gem-Knight Monster from Play, then I get to draw one card and if it's a Gem-Knight Monster, I can draw one more!"

She retrieved her Gem-Knight Sapphire that she removed from play and drew one card and I saw her smile as it was a Gem-Knight allowing her to Draw one more card. She then checked her hand "Now I shall activate Gem-Knight Fusion again! This time I'll fuse Gem-Knight Garnet, Gem-Knight Sapphire, and Gem-Knight Emerald!"

The three Gem-Knights emerged then began to fuse as Toph chanted out "Master of the Gem-Knights, come forward and shine your mighty sword...Fusion Summon! Level Nine, Gem-Knight Master Diamond!"

Gem-Knight Master Diamond appeared on the field. ATK: 2900

Toph just smiled "Gem-Knight Master Diamond gains one hundred more attack points for every Gem-Knight Monster in my Graveyard! So along with the Fusion that's in it and three Fusion Material Monsters that means he gains four hundred more attack points!"

The Paradox brothers watch as Master Diamond's attack increased. 2900-3300

"Now" Toph announced "Battle! Gem-Knight Master Diamond, attack Suijin with Shining Diamond Slash!"

Toph's Fusion Monster came at Suijin with it's sword glowing and strengthening with the power of diamonds and slashed Suijin, since it used it's effect in Toph's last turn, it couldn't prevent it's destruction.

"Take that!" Toph said confidentially when Suijin was destroyed as well as her Shadow Spell which also was and she explained why "When the Monster with Shadow Spell attatched to it is destroyed...So is my Trap card."

The Paradox brothers lost more Life Points and so far it looked like Toph and Hanabi was about to win.

Paradox Brother's Life Points: 4000

Toph checked her hand "I place one card face-down and end my turn!"

Para glares at her "You fight well for a Blind Girl but your demise will be the same, it's my move, I draw!"

He drew "I activate Spell Card: Monster Reborn to bring back my Suijin!"

Suijin appeared on the field freed of Toph's Shadow Spell. ATK: 2500

"Next" Para said smirking "It's time Dox!"

Dox grinned "Go for it Para, show that little blind girl she's under estimating us!"

"With pleasure!" Para said "I offer up Suijin, Sangan of Thunder and Kazejin in order to Special Summon the one and ONLY, GATE GUARDIAN!

"Oh great" I muttered seeing the huge monster emerge using the forms of all three monsters tributed for it. It was massive and huge scaring everyone of our Pokemon Trainer friends except for Lance whom seemed to be understanding of the monster that came on.

"WHAT IS THAT?" Dawn asked.

"Don't know" Brock admitted "But it's huge!"

Ash looked upward at the monster "That's one terrifying monster that I wouldn't want to face off against."

"That's Gate Guardian" Lance said "One of the The Paradox Brother's best monsters."

Once Gate Guardian fully formed our Pokemon Trainer friends got even more scared when it's attack appeared. ATK: 3750

"That's a whole lot of attack points" Ash muttered.

"That's right!" Para explained eying Toph and Hanabi with Hanabi more looking worried knowing this was bad.

"Next" Para said "I activate Equip Spell Card: Guardian Rage!"

He then explained it's effect "Once per turn, while Guardian Rage is equipped to Gate Guardian, it allows us the Paradox brothers to inflict damage to you equal to half of our monster's attack points usually during the Stand Bye Phase but the only exception is when it's first equipped."

Hanabi and Toph watch as Gate Guardian looked at them releasing thunder, wind and water all over them as if they were caught in a hurricane. The girls screamed in pain as their Life Points drop. Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 6025

"Now that was only the Spell Card's effect" Para explained "Now for Battle, Gate Guardian attack Gem-Knight Master Diamond!"

Toph smiled "That's not going to be much!"

Para just smirked at her "Well there is another effect of Guardian Rage, it halves your monster's attack strength during our Battle Phase only!"

Toph blinked "NO WAY!"

"Oh yes way!" Para said as Toph's Monster lost half of it's attack strength. 3300-1650

Gate Guardian unleashed it's attack on Gem-Knight Master Diamond. The Monster was struck and destroyed the recoil damage sent Toph flying backwards as her Life Points fell.

Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 3925

Toph then spoke "I activate my Trap Card: Gem-Mirage!"

Her Trap Card activated and she explained "I can activate this card when a Gem-Knight Monster is destroyed, I get to Special Summoned the Destroyed Monster back but in defense mode!"

Gem-Knight Master Diamond appeared again but was in defense mode. DEF: 2500

Toph then spoke "Thanks to Gem-Mirage as long as Master Diamond is in defense mode, for two whole turns he can't be destroyed by battle."

Para smirks "Your end is approaching! Even if we can't destroy your Master Diamond in two whole turns. You are your friend will be finished, Gate Guardian will see to that."

"Yeah" Dox admitted then he thought Even if these two find a way to destroy Gate Guardian, I have a card that can summon Dark Guardian on them...Then they'll be finished for sure

Hanabi watches as Toph gets up and the two now stare at Gate Guardian wondering who they could best it. Too Be Continued

End of chapter. Toph and Hanabi tried really hard but now find themselves looking at Gate Guardian! Can they stop it? Next chapter is Chapter 36: A New Enemy P7: Toph and Hanabi continue to duel against the Paradox Brothers and their Gate Guardian but when it is destroyed are they ready to face off against another much stronger guardian than before?
