Chapter 36: A New Enemy P7
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.
Things weren't looking so good for Hanabi and Toph. The two girls were in a Tag Duel against the famous Paradox Brothers. All around me, everyone of us were in somesort of action. I was dueling against three Rare Hunters with Olympian Dragon already out on the field ready to take the three of them out. Ash, Brock, Dawn and Lance were battling against Rare Hunters and were doing quite well. Lance also doubled as not only a Pokemon Trainer but also as a Duelist as well. I turned my head to the duel between my best friend and Toph.
Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 3925 They only had one Monster on their side of the field and it was Gem-Knight Master Diamond but it was in Defense mode DEF: 2500. They had no Spells and Trap Cards on the field. On their opponent's side of the field the Paradox Brothers had 4000 Life Points left. They had only one Monster on the field and it was as always when the two brothers dueled...The huge and powerful Gate Guardian with 3750 attack points. It was equipped with the Equip Spell Card: Guardian Rage! This Spell Card inflicted damage to Hanabi and Toph equal to half of Gate Guardian's Attack Points. That wasn't good odds for the two.
Para the brother that managed to Summon the Gate Guardian and deal heavy damage to my friend's Life Points now ended his turn. It was now Hanabi's turn. Right now my best friend was studying the scene "It's my move, I draw!" She announced.
She drew her card then checked her hand. Toph even when she was blind now knew the danger they were in as she asked Hanabi "I hope you have something up your sleeve to use against that Gate Guardian!"
Hanabi sweat dropped "I may have something up my sleeve."
She then saw Alien Warrior in her hand then nods "Actually I do have something up my sleeve. I just need to wait for at least two turns-"
"Two turns will be too late for you two!" Dox warned her "Our Gate Guardian Combo will see to that."
"Nothing's ever settled!" Hanabi told them "I'll summon my Alien Warrior in defense mode!"
Alien Warrior appeared on the field but like Toph's Gem-Knight Monster it was in defense mode DEF: 800.
"Next" Hanabi said checking her hand "I'll set one card face-down and it ends my turn."
"It's my our move!" Dox explained "But this time it's my turn to draw!"
Dox drew his card then explained "It is now my Stand By Phase and now half of our Gate Guardian's Attack Points come out of your Life Points curtsy of the Equip Spell Card: Guardian Rage!"
At Dox's command Gate Guardian appeared to glow and sent a blast at Hanabi but she was ready "I activate Continuous Trap Card: Alien Forcefield!"
A forcefield appeared around Hanabi and Toph as if shielding them from damage as Hanabi explained the effect "I can only activate this Trap Card, if there is a Face-up Alien Monster on the field! Now anytime Toph or I would take Effect Damage as long as there is a face-up Alien Monster, I can not only negate that effect damage and then gain that amount as Life Point recovery!"
"So you're not just a pretty face" Dox admitted to Hanabi "But skilled as you maybe, you will not win this heavily contested race!"
While he was speaking Hanabi and Toph's Life Points increased by half of Gate Guardian's attack points thanks to Alien Forcefield. Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 5775
"Now we shall Battle!" Dox declared.
"Gem-Knight Master Diamond can't be destroyed by battle" Toph reminded him.
"That maybe true" Dox admitted "But there is one Monster that still can! Gate Guardian, obliterate Alien Warrior!"
Gate Guardian took aim and shot it's attack at Hanabi's Alien Warrior. Since it was in defense mode, Hanabi would take no battle damage but I saw her smiling and wondered why. Without a Face-up Alien Monster, she couldn't use Alien Forcefield effectively...Then I got it maybe she was counting on Alien Ammonite to be drawn next turn. Hanabi then spoke "When Alien Warrior is destroyed the monster that destroyed him gets two "A" Counters attached to it!"
"You're Counters won't mean a thing" Dox warned her.
"We have nothing to fear when it comes down to your strategy" Para added on.
"Turn end" Dox said.
"There's always a way to bring that thing down!" Toph announced "I draw!"
She drew her card then checked her hand then spoke "I'll set one monster face-down in defense mode then, I'll activate Spell Card: Swords of Revealing Light!"
Three swords appeared after Toph had sent a monster face-down in defense mode and Toph explained "Now for three whole turns your Monsters are useless! Then that'll end my turn."
"Good call for once" Hanabi muttered.
"Well with a monster strong like their Gate Guardian...We have to be careful for once" Toph admitted to her.
"Swords won't mean a thing to me or my brother" Para spoke "I draw!"
He certainly did draw then points out "Once again due to Guardian Rage still equipped to Gate Guardian, during my Standby Phase you'll take damage equal to half of Gate Guardian's Attack Points!"
Toph watches as the effect went into play and her Life Points fall back to where they were before. Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 3925
"I might not be able to attack but Gate Guardian shall obliterate you with it's effect! I set one card face-down and end my turn" Para told her.
"Then it's my move!" Hanabi announced "I draw!"
She drew her card then smiled as she then looked at the two Paradox Brothers "You're in for a big show! I summon Alien Ammonite Tuner Monster!"
Alien Ammonite appeared on the field ATK: 500
"Next" Hanabi told the two Paradox Brothers "By summoning him, I'm able to Special Summon any Level four or below Alien Monster so I choose to Special Summon my Alien Warrior back to the field!"
Alien Warrior reappeared on the field ATK: 1800
"Next" Hanabi said "I'm going to tune my Level one Alien Ammonite with my Level Four Alien Warrior!"
Alien Ammonite split into one huge ring as it scanned Hanabi's Alien Warrior while she chanted out "For the safety of the stars, our hopes and dreams become a reality, Rise, Synchro Summon...Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar!""
Out of a bright flash of light Hanabi's Synchro Monster appeared. ATK: 2600
"Oh-no!" Dox shouted "That girl just Synchro Summoned a dangerous Level Five Synchro Monster!"
"Correct" Hanabi said then she spoke "I activate Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar's Special ability! By Removing Two "A" Counters off the field, I can have it Automatically destroy any card on the field! And I choose to destroy your Gate Guardian!"
"SAY WHAT?" Dox shouted normally his foes found a way to destroy Gate Guardian by Battle but never by Card Effect!
Hanabi smiled "We'll see how you like this, go Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar remove it's Two "A" Counters that Alien Warrior placed on it then fire your DESTRUCTIVE LASER!"
I smiled as I saw two "A" Counters be removed from Gate Guardian. Hanabi's Synchro Monster gathered in a huge blue destructive beam which it fired at Gate Guardian destroying it.
"Great call Hanabi" Toph shouted over to her "Now switch my Gem-Knight Master Diamond into attack mode and we can win this Duel right now!"
Hanabi thought of that but then heard Para laughing "So, you managed to destroy our Gate Guardian, but he was only the beginning of your worries."
"Why is that?" Toph asked.
"Because I activate the Trap Card: Guardian Protection!" Para explained activating his face-down card "Now on the turn Gate Guardian is destroyed ether by Battle or Card Effect, I don't take any Battle Damage!"
Hanabi grits her teeth knowing that the brothers were up to something and she didn't like it. However there was something she could do and I knew what was up on her mind. She checks her hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn!"
"It is now my turn!" Dox announced "I shall now draw!"
He checked his hand then smiled "You may have destroyed our Gate Guardian, but he was only part of the equation! I activate Spell Card: Dark Element!"
He plays a Spell Card and he spoke the effect of the card "By paying half of our Life Points, and when Gate Guardian is in the Graveyard, I can now bring forwarth a new Guardian, one stronger than Gate Guardian..."
"I don't like the sound of that" Ash muttered.
I didn't like it ether as out of the corner of my eye I watched the Paradox Brothers pay half of their Life Points. Paradox Brother's Life Points: 2000
Darkness came onto the field as Dox explained "Now here comes our next great monster...Dark Guardian!"
When the Darkness settled, the new monster was out and just looked plain evil. If that wasn't enough to scare you, it's attack points were! ATK: 3800
"That thing sure looks impressive!" Toph taunted them "But as long as my Swords of Revealing Light Card is on the field you can't attack us!"
"Plus" Hanabi said "You don't have Guardian Rage ether which means you can't inflict battle damage to us!"
"Misspoken you have" Para said.
"And for that mistake you shall be proven wrong!" Dox said "I activate Quick-Play Spell Card: Mystical Space Typhoon! This'll destroy one card on the field and I choose your Swords of Revealing Light!"
The Swords of Revealing Light were shattered freeing Dark Guardian from their effects.
"Now" Dox announced "Battle! Dark Guardian, attack Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar!"
Dark Guardian gathers in energy in it's axe and swung it at Hanabi's Monster but she was ready "I activate my Trap Card: Alien Sorcery!"
Hanabi's face-down card activated "I can only activate this Trap Card when any Alien Monster or Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar is targeted by an attack and it's an alien version of Magical Hats. It covers all Monsters on my side of the field in mist hiding them in it and switches their positions!"
Mist covered the field but it looked all too creepy. Hanabi then eyed her foes as she began to taunt them "My understanding is that Yugi managed to pull off the same trick on you two...So if you two have gotten better in guessing this mist is hiding all three of our Monsters. Go ahead and guess as the three Monsters are in the same position."
"Quite amusing you are" Dox spoke.
"But we won't fall for it a second time" Para agreed "Go on brother go ahead and find her monster!"
"Will do!" Dox agreed he focuses in "How about the one to the far left!"
Toph was now worried that Hanabi's gamble might not've been a good one as the axe of Dark Guardian slices down on a target, there wasn't an explosion but there was a mighty YELP! Coming from the target.
"What the?" Dox asked "What Monster did I hit?"
When the mist cleared at the one monster the monster now revealed itself to be a small dog like Monster, and Toph smiled "Too bad, you failed that time! You hit my Shiba-Warrior Toto! And he has a special effect, while he remains on the field, he can't be destroyed by battle...And as long as I don't take effect damage he'll stay on the field."
Ash scratched his head "So that's why she didn't play it."
I gave him a smile "Ash...You're hopeless at times. Had Toph played it in attack mode when it was Para's turn her Monster would've returned to her hand...It would've left her vulnerable to Gate Guardian's attack if she didn't play her Swords of Revealing Light card."
"And no one would want to take a 3750 direct attack" Brock admitted "Not me."
"Impressive!" Dox said "But Dark Guardian also can't be destroyed by Battle!"
He entered his Main Phase two "I now activate Equip Spell: Guardian Protection! And I'll equip it to Dark Guardian. This Equip Spell not only gives the equipped Monster one thousand more attack points but negates the effect of all of your Monsters presently on the field"
Hanabi grits her teeth as her Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar had it's effects negated. Toph does this too knowing Gem-Knight Master Diamond had it's effects negated as Dark Guardian's atttack points rose. 3800-4800
"Turn end" Dox told the two girls "But it looks like the victors are soon to be known."
"It's my move!" Toph announced "I draw!"
She drew her card then she looked at it "Alright here I go! I summon Gem-Knight Alexandrite!"
A white Gem-Knight Monster appeared on the field ATK: 1800
"Little good that one will do you" Dox sneered.
"Then you do realize that I can activate Gem-Knight Alexandrite's Special ability! I can tribute him and he allows me to Special Summon any Gem-Knight Monster!"
Dox watches her "I still don't follow."
"You will" Toph insured him "I'll tribute Gem-Knight Alexandrite in order to Special Summon, Gem-Knight Crystal from my deck!"
Gem-Knight Crystal appeared on the field ATK: 2500.
"She's still not strong enough" Dox warned.
"True" Toph said "But I activate Spell Card: Polymerization!"
The old style fusion card appeared and Toph explained "With Polymerization, I'll fuse my Gem-Knight Crystal with Gem-Horse in my hand!"
The two Monsters began fusing together as Toph chants out "Gem-Knight of Crystals join forces to throttle opponents on your mighty steed! Fusion Summon...Level 10 Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight!"
Once the Monster was done being fused the Monster appeared on the field. There, Gem-Knight Crystal now sat upon a mighty diamond horse like a true Paladin Knight! ATK: 3500
"You're Fusion Monster falls short!" Dox told Toph.
"That's true" Toph said "But not for long! Battle! Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight, attack Dark Guardian!"
"That doesn't make sense!" Dox told Toph "You're monster will be destroyed!"
Toph grinned "Oh really? Well then did you think of Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight's special ability"
"An effect?
Toph nods "During my turn, when Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight attacks a Monster whose attack points are higher than her own, she gains fifteen hundred more attack points!"
"SAY WHAT?" Dox asked.
Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight charges Dark Guardian gaining 1500 more attack points during the Battle Phase. 3500-5000
Toph then spoke "Gem-Slash!"
Toph's Fusion Monster collides with Dark Guardian there was an explosion and the Paradox Brothers lose some of their Life Points.
Paradox Brother's Life Points: 1800
When the dust settled, Dark Guardian was still standing.
"What gives?" Toph asked.
Para smiled "Dark Guardian can't be destroyed by Battle!"
"Turn end" Toph said gritting her teeth.
"It's my move!" Para explained "I draw!"
He drew his card "Now it's time to destroy you both! I activate Spell Card: Guardian Fusion!"
A Fusion card appeared and on it showed both Gate Guardian and Dark Guardian fusing together. Para explained it "Now, Guardian Fusion allows me to remove from Play Gate Guardian and Dark Guardian in order to fusion summon the Ultimate Guardian of all time..."
Para removed Gate Guardian from the Graveyard and then Dark Guardian on the field as both he and his brother chanted out "Oh great Guardian of the Cosmos. Form under the dark sky to demolish our enemies. Fusion Summon...Level 12, Galaxy Guardian!"
As the Fusion Monsters subsided the Fusion Monster appeared it literally looked like a tall guardian made out of entire galaxies ATK: 5000
Without the Equip Spell Card which was equipped to Dark Guardian all Monsters on Hanabi and Toph's side of the field.
"Nuts" Toph muttered.
"Our newest Guardian Monster will destroy you two!" Para explained "IT is the ultimate guardian! And now to show you why...Battle! Galaxy Guardian, attack Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight, Dark Hole Galactic Blast!"
Galaxy Guardian generated a Dark hole in form of a sphere and flung it towards Toph's own Fusion Monster.
Toph then spoke "I hate to do this, but I activate Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight's Special ability, if it's attacked on my opponents turn I can remove from play One Gem-Knight Monster or Gem Monster from my Graveyard and she can't be destroyed by battle!"
"Interesting effect!" Para explained "But when Galaxy Guardian attacks it destroys all Monsters on your side of the field except for the one it originally targeted!"
"Oh nuts!" Hanabi and Toph shouted.
Galaxy Guardian's attack hit Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight and Toph removed Gem-Horse from the Graveyard preventing it's destruction by Battle. Even so the damage still strikes her causing deep pain in her.
Toph screamed in pain as Hanabi and her Life Points were hit hard.
Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 1900
"Then there's more" Para explained "When Galaxy Guardian destroys all of it's opponent's Monsters besides the one it attacked due to it's effect, you lose five hundred Life Points for each Monster destroyed and he gains five hundred more attack Points for each Monster destroyed by his effect!"
Hanabi and Toph watch with horror as Galaxy Guardian unleashed a powerful galactic blast at them decimating some of their Life Points.
Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 400
"Give in now!" Para said as Galaxy Guardian's attack points rose.
5000-6000
"Never" Hanabi said "It's my move, I draw!"
She drew her card then checked her hand. If she wasn't careful Galaxy Guardian would finish both herself and Toph off.
"This seems hopeless" Toph told Hanabi.
"Nothing's ever hopeless" Hanabi reminded her "We can't give in."
She checked out her hand. Her heart pounded as she knew she had to do something this turn or else they were finished.
She then saw a hint of light and a blank card appeared in her Extra Deck zone. As she's looking at it she saw it slowly turn into a black card. I knew what it was an XYZ Monster!
She checks out her hand nodding "Alright then, I summon Alien Priest in attack mode!"
An alien wearing a priest's uniform appeared on the field ATK: 1000
"When I Normal Summon Alien Priest" Hanabi explained to the Paradox Brothers "I'm allowed to Special Summon one Alien Monster from my Graveyard and from my deck but all three Monsters can't attack during this turn. So With Alien Priest's effect I'll Special Summon my Alien Warrior from my Graveyard! Then from my deck I'll Special Summon Alien Doctor!"
Alien Warrior appeared on the field again ATK: 1800, this was followed by another new Alien Monster known as Alien Doctor which had a doctor's outfit out. ATK: 1200
"I'll activate Alien Doctor's special effect" Hanabi explained "When he is successfully Normal or Special Summoned, for each Alien Monster I have on the field I get to increase my Life Points by five hundred points! Plus I get to draw one card for each Alien Monster on the field."
Since there were three Alien Monsters Hanabi and Toph had their Life Points increased by fifteen hundred. Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 1900
"That's a bit better" Toph told her "But their Galaxy Guardian is so much stronger than any of ours plus we'll lose those fifteen hundred Life Points when Galaxy Guardian attacks and destroys all of our Monsters on the field."
Hanabi smiled as she drew her three cards "No worries Toph, we'll survive this, in fact we'll win this turn!"
She then checked her hand "I'll activate Spell Card: Alien Prayer, and it can only be activated when Alien Priest is on the field, it allows me to increase or decrease all of my alien's levels by the number of Alien Monsters I have on the field, since I have three, that means I can increase everyone of their levels to seven which I will!"
"Big deal!" Para warned her "That did nothing to our Galaxy Guardian!"
He was even saying this as he saw Hanabi's Alien Monsters had their levels increased by three. 4-7 X3
"Now" Hanabi said "I have three level seven Monsters, and now it's time for a new Summon, it's time I build the Overlay Network using all three of my Alien Monsters!"
A dark cloud arrived into the sky as Alien Priest, Alien Warrior and Alien Doctor disappeared becoming overlay units as Hanabi chanted out "Great Alien of Sorcery and wisdom, descend from the heavens to write this wrong! XYZ Summon...RANK 7! Alien Magician!"
Alien Magician appeared on the field. It looked a bit older nearly like the great wizard in King Arther Merlin but alien like ATK: 3000
"Big deal!" Para and his brother Dox shouted "That Monster is ulterly useless just like Toph's Fusion Monster."
"Careful what you say Paradox Brothers" Hanabi told them "For you are facing an XYZ Monster, allow me to show you what they can do, I'll activate Alien Magician's Special Ability! By detaching one Overlay unit from my XYZ Monster his attack points double and he can't be destroyed by battle!"
"That's good" Dox told her "Because our Galaxy Guardian can't be destroyed by battle ether."
"Want a bet?" Hanabi asked as her XYZ Monster detached one of it's Overlay Units and Alien Magician's attack points doubled. 3000-6000
"Battle!" Hanabi announced "Alien Magician attack Galaxy Guardian with Supernova Scepter Blast!"
Alien Magician took aim and fired at Galaxy Guardian with the Paradox Brothers shouting "Dark Hole Galactic Blast!"
The two Monsters sent their attacks at each other and there was a big explosion but in the end both Monsters stood.
"What gives?" the two brother asked.
Hanabi answered "There's more to the overlay unit's ability, not only does it double my Monster's attack points but he also can't be destroyed by battle...And after Battle calculation...your monster loses half of it's attack points and those are added onto one other Monster"
"No way!" the two brothers shouted seeing their Galaxy Guardian's attack points were halved 6000-3000 Their eyes widened as Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin Knight gained that amount. 3500-7000
Hanabi nods "Oh yes, way! And we have one other Monster to attack with...Toph would you like to do the honors of shouting your attack?"
"I'd love to! Let's do it together!"
Hanabi nods then with Toph at her side shouted out the final orders "Gem-Knight Crystal the Paladin attack Galaxy Guardian with Gem-Slash!"
The Paradox Brothers could only watch as Toph's Fusion Monster swung it's mighty sword striking Galaxy Guardian and while Galaxy Guardian couldn't be destroyed by battle, the damage just as Toph's Monster did even though it couldn't be destroyed it also deflected the battle damage to the girls now it was the Paradox Brother's turn to take the damage and their Life Points were deputed.
Paradox Brother's Life Points: 0
Hanabi and Toph's Life Points: 1900
Seeing this the other Rare Hunters all gasped the Paradox Brothers were defeated again. This time by Hanabi and Toph.
"That was hard!" Hanabi admitted.
"Indeed" Toph admitted "But we managed to win!"
Hanabi was looking at her rank seven XYZ Alien Card, it had just saved them from Galaxy Guardian. The Rare Hunters now began retreating knowing that the Paradox Brothers had lost. Even the Rare Hunter Pokemon Trainers were running away. The two Paradox Brothers looked down in defeat.
"Brother it us us that lost this race" Para told his brother.
"Now Master Marik will claim our souls for our failure in this case" Dox added on.
"Not if I can help it!" I shouted.
Lance agreed "Marik can't have his way all the time...Why were you two with him in the first time?"
"He gives out good pay" Para explained.
"Too much that we couldn't deny him at any time of day" Dox added on.
It was then Marik tries to talk threw his Rare Hunters "TWO MORE FAILURES! I was so close in capturing Ash's three friends but yet, somehow you all outsmarted me."
"Come out and face us Marik!" Ash challenged him "Stop being the coward!"
Marik's voice chuckled evilly "You would call me the coward boy...However the more you delay the closer I am in my goal in making a deck that will go well with my Winged Dragon of Ra."
Using the Paradox Brother's minds he looks at Lance "And you Dragon Master. You're soul had eluded me."
Lance glared "You tricked me into becoming a puppet Marik! We are going to hunt you down and stop you once and for all!"
"That'll never happen!" Marik said "Of course you still don't know where to find me."
"We'll find you sooner or later Marik!" Ash told him angrily "For what you did to my Pikachu's soul and for so many other souls you've taken! We will find you and put a stop to you!"
I looked at the Paradox Brothers as I spoke in a warning tone "You're days are numbered Marik!"
My arm begins to glow and hurt and it was the first time any of the Pokemon Trainers seen my Mark of the Dragon as I spoke out so like my father that my I wanted him to know his days were numbered and just like my father whom would go after Marik for all he had done "I'll make sure of it!"
"So judgmental Signer" Marik warned me "All you had to do is give up that Baby Vulpix and this wouldn't have gotten this far. Now that it has I'll be sending my best two Hare Hunters to dispatch you and the Dragon Master. But first-"
Marik forces the Paradox Brothers into bring out something out of their pockets and throw a gadget at us.
Lance and I were too much in front of the others as Haku tries to come at us seeing what it was "Lady Kasumi, Lance watch out!"
I prepared to Earth Bend a boulder but the gadget seemed to explode and a vortex of air appeared sucking me and Lance into it.
Haku tries to catch my arm to pull me out of it as I was holding Lance's arm with my own trying to fight back. Haku was too slow and the vortex swallowed me and Lance into it along with Takara and the snow white baby Vulpix. The last thing I heard from Haku was "LADY KASUMI!"
Haku's POV
Everything seemed so quick. One moment we had been victorious over the Paradox Brothers and then like always Marik appeared taking over the Paradox Brother's minds. He had thrown something to Lady Kasumi and Lance which sucked them into a vortex. I slammed my fists down angrily as I was too slow to save the Lady Signer. Oh, the feeling that I felt was I had failed Aki-Sensei! I was supposed to be watching over the Lady Signer but I couldn't do a thing. Hanabi saw what happened and was equally angry "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE MARIK?"
Marik's voice echoed "I simply cast them into a vortex with a Vortex Bomb. They are still in this dimension but won't be released until they both defeated my two newest Rare Hunters."
"Newest Rare Hunters won't be enough to beat Lady Kasumi!"
Marik's voice laughed "Oh, I wouldn't be too sure...You see my Vortex Bomb will bring those two to powerful Duelists of this world. They will have to face my two Rare Hunters in one-on-one Duels and let me tell you this, I've managed to take control of two powerful Duelists of this dimension...Where in the dimension Lady Kasumi lives in these two Duelist or well one of them was able to stop my father in that dimension's Duelist Kingdom and the other...Is the man with three Blue-Eyes White Dragon."
I grit my teeth "No way...I was wondering why wasn't this dimension's Yugi Muto not dealing with you."
Marik smirked using the Paradox Brother's mouths "With my new deck still not complete I was still able to track down this Dimension's Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba and defeat them! Now after they were defeated they were forced to become my Mind Slaves. Now we'll see what your precious Lady Signer and her friend Lance are capable of. And now I'll dispose of these two of their souls for losing to the blind girl and the Lady Signer's best friend!"
With that everything was silent. Ash, Brock, Dawn, May, Max and Misty were now knowing how dangerous this Marik was but Ash was still a bit clueless "Uh...I know this could be bad...But whose this Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba?"
Toph was so angry that she Earth Bended a boulder and sent it crashing to Ash's balls. Ash cries in pain as he sat on the ground "WHAT WAS THAT FOR TOPH?"
"For being an idiot and this time" Toph told him "ANY DUELIST AND ANY POKEMON TRAINER SHOULD KNOW WHO YUGI MUTO IS!"
Hanabi was holding her back "Now now Toph...Sometimes people don't know."
"Marik has captured Lady Kasumi and Lance in that vortex!" Toph said "And you expect me to hope for the best while one of us is a brainless idiot that would make Naruto and Sokka look as geniuses!"
I pat Toph's back "There was no need for you to hurt Ash that much though."
I looked at Ash helping him up "Sorry about that but Toph does have every right to be angry at what has just happened..."
"Please tell me who this Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba are" Ash said still in pain from his balls being crushed by Toph's boulder.
Fortunately Max actually knew "Yugi Muto is known as the King of Games. He's the best Duelist of all. Seto Kaiba is his rival."
I frowned knowing that the Yugi Muto in the world Lady Kasumi, Toph, Hanabi and I arrived from would NEVER lose to someone like this Marik the Third, heck Yugi of our world beat Marik the Third's father in Duelist Kingdom. Plus Seto Kaiba most likely wouldn't have lost to Marik ether in a Duel...At least in our world, however I now realized something that perhaps this sort of thing COULD happen in this world as it was a different one. So that meant...That things could be reversed! I just hoped this world's Yugi Muto wouldn't have Slifer the Sky Dragon. I also hoped that Seto Kaiba of this world didn't have Obelisk the Tormentor. Sadly Max confirmed what decks they did have as I looked at him "The last thing I know about Yugi, from this world does have the one he used in Battle City of your rhelm, prior to Dueling in Battle City...He does have Slifer the Sky Dragon...And the Seto Kaiba of this world does have Obelisk the Tormentor."
"That's...Not good..." Hanabi admitted.
"Why's that?" Misty asked her.
Hanabi answered "Out of anyone of those two Lady Kasumi does have a Titan Card to combat Slifer the Sky Dragon and she's probably going to need it. Now I haven't seen Lance Duel Lady Kasumi-"
"But I have" Toph said "At least I felt them dueling and I haven't seen that Lance has anything to deal with Obelisk the Tormentor...We'll need those two to win so we can bring down this Marik.
I wanted to run off and find this Marik the Third and duel him in the Lady Signer's place. I have had it with this mad man. It was one thing going after the Lady Signer, it took it to another step closer when he threatened to take May, Max and Misty from Ash to brainwash them. Now he took one step closer to when I nearly would snap, separating me from the Lady Signer and putting her up against a future encounter Yugi Muto in hopes to take her Soul before this could happen. Hanabi puts a hand on my shoulder "The Lady Signer would want you to help track him down and help our new friends. She'll be back!"
I nodded as this was something I needed to be reminded. Oh, Marik really hit a nerve in me and if the Lady Signer didn't downright kill him with her Psychic Powers...Then I would make sure that Marik the Third would perish. No one, and I mean no one separates the Lady Signer from me in hopes to cheaply take out her soul or kill her.

Two days late but I finally did it! This chapter is over and now Lady Kasumi and Lance had disappeared into a vortex...Next chapter is a Chapter 37: New Enemy P8: Kasumi and Lance meet up in their vortex prison and now look for a way out. Little do they know that in order to free themselves is for them to face off against two legendary Duelist whom are now Rare Hunters...First up Lance vs. Kaiba, let the Battle of the Dragons commence!
I also would like to remind you that this is an alternate world and Marik the Third is from Kasumi's world. So Marik had beaten Yugi and Seto Kaiba of this world, but let me tell you that this wouldn't have happened in Kasumi's timeframe. It would give reason why Yugi and Kaiba aren't here. They have to be freed.
