Chapter 38: A New Enemy P8
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.
Kasumi's POV
Things developed rather quickly, the next thing I knew before I blacked out was Lance and myself being sucked into a vortex. I don't know how long I had been out but I felt something's tongue licking my shoulder. I even heard a small whimper and I knew it was from Takara. My pet Vulpix was trying to make sure I was okay. The baby Vulpix was also whimpering licking my neck. I felt two strong hands on my back and a voice that was calling my name "Lady Kasumi! Lady Kasumi...Please be alright!"
I gave out a groan as I opened my eyes weakly at first. I briefly closed them as Takara accidentally licked my right eye to make sure I was alright. I blush at this and saw it was Lance that had his hands on my back. He saw me open them "Are you okay?"
"I have had better days" I said getting onto all fours making sure I was carefully doing so as I was still in my skirt and I didn't want to flash Lance.
Eventually I managed to get onto my two feet "Where are we now?"
Lance looked around too "I'm not sure...However if I had to guess Lady Kasumi we're trapped in a Vortex Bomb."
I saw the evidence too as all around us vortexes seemed to be everywhere like walls keeping Lance and me in the area. "Great...How do we break out of them?"
Lance shrugged "Got me. I don't know much about vortex bombs..."
"Vulpix" Takara muttered licking me leg.
"I'm fine Takara" I told her petting her head.
"Vulpix" Takara said as I also let the baby snow white Vulpix know I was okay by gently petting her head "There, there little one, I'm fine."
I turned to him "How long was I out?"
Lance sighed "Possibly for two hours."
Marik the Third's voice rang over our ears "I see you two are still together!"
"Marik!" Lance and I shouted.
"Indeed" Marik replied "Welcome to my Vortex Bomb Zone! A Zone where you'll never leave alive!"
"You talk like a coward!" I told him "Imprisoning Lance and me in here!" I then smirked out something Uncle Crow would've said "I thought you wanted to take on the daughter of Yusei Fudo the one man that you fear!"
"I SO DO WANT TO TAKE YOU OUT SIGNER!" Marik's voice growled at me "Just so I can show your father your soul when I go to Duel him!"
Lance looked around looking for Marik the Third "Holding us here will not detour us!"
"I am quite aware of that!" Marik told us "However, I also have two powerful Rare Hunters in here! Find them and defeat them if you can! They shall be your final test to see if you are worthy in dueling me Signer and Champion of Johto! Only then will my Vortex Bomb Zone release you!"
Then Marik the Third's voice left the area.
"Find his best Rare Hunters" Lance muttered.
I growled "This Marik the Thrid is becoming a pain to deal with."
Lance agreed with me "Well if we are to escape this zone we have to find his best Rare Hunters and beat them in a Duel."
I gave out a sigh "Well...Why do these type of villains always want it the hard way around?"
"I'm not sure why myself" Lance admitted "But let's look for his so called Rare Hunters."
"Let's" I admitted.
Lance and I began searching for Marik's best two Rare Hunters. We had to defeat them in order to return back to our friends and stop Marik the Third. I just hoped Haku wasn't worrying too much for me. I swore to myself thinking Haku, don't worry too much for me...Lance and I will break free! That's a promise.
So with that being thought, Lance and I began looking for our opponents. Oh this mission was beginning to feel like a major headache to deal with Marik the Third. However now that we knew what he could do...We would be ready for his tricks next time. It took a while of looking around in fact, at one point Lance and I thought we were hopelessly lost...Just about every where we turned it seemed like we were at the same area.
"This is crazy!" I shouted annoyed "This is just like we're trapped in a maze because everywhere we go it seems that it's the same thing!"
Lance agreed with me "It does seem that way Lady Kasumi..."
I pouted a little bit "I bet if my boyfriend Shikamaru were here, he'd be able to figure this place out...But I'll admit it, I'm not as smart as him when it comes to real life mazes."
Lance turned to me "I'm surprised you have a boyfriend already."
I blush red "Yeah, well...I do have a boyfriend. He maybe on the lazy side of things but...He's really smart and totally would've figure this Marik the Third out. He seems to always be one step ahead on an actual battle and even in a Duel."
"I see" Lance told me "But I'm sure he'd tell you what I'm going to. Don't give up hope and settle down we'll think this through!"
Those were words Shikamaru would've told me...Of course Lance missed one crucial detail and that was Shikamaru would've called me troublesome. I gave out a sigh "True...But that won't change the fact that I hate real life mazes..."
"Can't you see through the maze with your psychic powers?" Lance asked me.
I blush bright red never thinking about that, in all the mazes I had went through when I was younger sometimes with my father and sometimes with my mother, I never thought of using my powers...Then again I had no knowledge of myself having them. Now that I did know about them...I felt foolish of never thinking about using them. Lance sees me blushing red "So, I see you haven't thought of using them."
I blush redder clearly embarrassed as I hung my head in shame. It took a while for me to admit it to him but eventually I did and it was sort of a weak reply "Y-Y-Y-Y-Yeah...I never thought of using them...T-T-T-To be fair, when I was younger I didn't know I had them...Now that I know...I feel very stupid not thinking of using them..."
Lance smiled patting my back to make me know that everyone forgot something "No worries Lady Kasumi. We all forget something about it. Happens to everyone."
I was still a bit embarrassed at the mention of how he had to remind me about my Psychic Powers but I nodded "Okay...Let's see if my psychic powers can help out. I'll use them to be in their Prime State...I can't be in it for long though or I risk straining myself and I don't want to do that."
Lance nodded "Go ahead."
I closed my eyes and when I reopened them they had changed into blue glowing with psychic power as I entered my Prime State mode and I looked around in it hoping it could help us out. To help out even further, I sat down on the ground in a meditating stance as I focused in using my Psychic Powers to help me and Lance out.
As I turned my head I saw Lance blushing looking at me. I blush as I knew the type of blush he was looking at me with meant he liked me already or maybe he thought I was just cute in that position. Regardless it was making me blush too having him look at me like that. I saw him checking himself to see if his Pokemon were on him which they were. He called one out "Dragonite come out!"
Lance's Dragonite comes out "Dragonite!"
As I focused my powers in my meditation pose I actually saw what Lance and I had missed outside of me using my Psychic Powers. There was only one way and that was up. I stood up "Lance! There's a second floor! We need to find an elevator because there's an opening at the top."
Lance couldn't see what I was seeing but turned "I don't see anything above us, but I trust you."
"How do we get up there?" I asked looking around "Because I don't see any stair cases nearby."
Lance stretches his hand towards me causing me to blush as Shikamaru hadn't done that to me. He looks at me "Take my hand Lady Signer. We're going to have to ride my Dragonite up to that area."
I nodded allowing him to take my hand gently. He picked me up gently and put me on Dragonite's back. He soon climbed on as well and held onto my shoulders to make sure I wouldn't fall off. He looked at Dragonite as Takara and the snow white baby Vulpix was also on the Dragon's shoulders "Alright Dragonite! Follow the Lady Signer's commands and take us to the next floor!"
"Dragonite!" The Pokemon replied nodding.
With four riding him the dragon took off towards the area as I kept on staring at the next floor "Looks like you need to spin Dragonite almost like a star to enter it!"
The Dragon nodded spinning and I almost threw up due to not being prepared for this command to be obeyed so quickly. After the first few thirty seconds I managed to not and easily recovered as the Dragonite spun around safely entering the next level. Once on the next level the Dragonite lands, Lance and I jump off landing. I scanned the area as it strangely looked like the Kaiba Dome in the old days of Yugi Muto.
"Strange" I muttered as I returned my eyes to their normal state.
"Indeed" Lance admitted.
"I guess we go forward and enter the Kaiba Dome" I told him.
After Lance recalled his Dragonite, while also I made sure Takara and the Snow White Baby Vulpix were okay, we entered the building. We didn't get far into it where we saw a Rare Hunter. Only this one didn't have a Dark Cloak. This one looked familiar that he had already taken off his hood to reveal his face as he sneered "Welcome you two I have been expecting one of you two!"
"Kaiba!" Lance and I shouted "But how?"
Marik the Third's voice answered "I have beaten Seto Kaiba of this dimension! And now he works for me as my Rare Hunter...Lady Signer, your opponent is waiting for you but that'll be depending on what happens of this result...If Lance can beat Seto Kaiba of this dimension, then you will be able to proceed onward. If not...You'll still have a chance to duel the Rare Hunter I'm placing you up against! Without Lance at your side!"
I growled out "Marik...You Monster..."
Lance studied Seto Kaiba knowing this was going to be a hard Duel to win "No matter what Lady Signer, we must do this if we are to go back to our friends and stop him."
I nodded hating Marik the Third now, leave it to him to find a world where he could beat this Dimension's Seto Kaiba...I already had a sneaky suspion Marik the Third defeated this Dimension's Yugi Muto which meant Yugi was my opponent.
"You coward Marik!" I told Marik knowing he was listening to this upcoming Duel "You'd find the Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba of a world to defeat and take over their minds. The real Yugi and Seto Kaiba would never lose to someone like you!"
"What's done is done Lady Signer!" Marik replied "I have lots more Rare Hunters but as you just guessed, you are going to be Dueling Yugi Muto regardless of who wins or loses between Lance and Kaiba. Now Kaiba...Destroy Lance!"
"It would be my pleasure Master Marik!" Seto Kaiba replied.
Lance turned to me and I nodded, we had to defeat Seto Kaiba and Yugi. I only hoped we could.
Lance stepped up "Very well Kaiba, let's get to it!"
"Indeed" Kaiba said.
Both men activated their Duel Disks and shouted "DUEL!"
Lance's Life Points: 4000
Seto Kaiba's Life Points: 4000
"I'll start us off!" Seto Kaiba told "It's my move, I draw!"
Seto Kaiba drew his card then studied his hand "I activate White Dragon Ritual Spell Card: By offering up Monsters to match a level four star Monster I can now Ritual Summon, Paladin of White Dragon!"
I watched as Seto Kaiba choose a Monster in his hand and sent it to his Graveyard, then as the Ritual Spell Card was played, Paladin of White Dragon emerges. ATK: 1900
"Next" Seto Kaiba announced "I activate Paladin of White Dragon's special ability, by tributing him to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon a BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!"
Paladin of White Dragon vanishes but in it's place was Seto Kaiba's ace monster well one of them. ATK: 3000
" New Dimension...New enemy in Marik the Third..." I muttered "But so far same Seto Kaiba from our dimension, it's a move our Seto Kaiba would've made."
"On the turn Paladin of White Dragon's effect is used to Special Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon can't attack..." Seto Kaiba told Lance "However, since I was the first one to make the first move, it's a good trade off! Turn end."
"It's my move!" Lance announced "I draw!"
He drew his card then checked his hand then I saw him smile "For my first move, I summon my Black Stone of Legend!"
Black Stone of Legend appeared on the field ATK: 0
"Next" Lance told Kaiba "I activate Black Stone of Legend's special effect, by sending him to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon one RED-EYES BLACK DRAGON!"
Red-Eyes Black Dragon appeared on the field roaring ATK: 2400
"A cousin of Wheeler I see" Kaiba remarked seeing the Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
"We'll see indeed" Lance told him "Now we'll battle! Red-Eyes Black Dragon attack, Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Inferno Fire Blast!"
"You're crazy!" Kaiba told him "Blue-Eyes White Dragon is stronger, go my Blue Eyes, counter attack with White Lightning!"
Lance was ready for it "I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card: Dragon Rage!"
"Dragon Rage?" Kaiba asked.
Lance nodded "Dragon Rage increases the attack strength of my attacking Red-Eyes Black Dragon by one thousand points during the Battle Phase!"
"No way!" Kaiba announced.
"Oh yes way!" Lance said as Red-Eyes Black Dragon had it's attack points increased. 2400-3400
This meant one thing Lance's Red-Eyes was stronger than Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Instead of Kaiba's Monster unleashing it's attack to overpower Red-Eyes Black Dragon's attack the Blue-Eye's attack was cut right through and the attack hits Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
"MY DRAGON!" Kaiba shouted seeing it destroyed by a Red-Eyes Black Dragon "Impossible! It couldn't be beaten by a Red-Eyes!" Kaiba's Life Points: 3600
"Never cut a dragon champion out" Lance warned Kaiba "I'll set one Card face-down and end my turn!"
"It's my move!" Kaiba announced "I draw!"
Kaiba drew his card checking out his hand "It's my move, I draw!"
He drew his two cards "Now I'll activate: Spell Card: Monster Reborn! With it I'll bring back my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared on the field. ATK: 3000
"Next" Kaiba said "I'll activate Spell Card: Polymerization!"
The Fusion Card appeared "With it, I'll fuse the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the field with two of my Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my hand in order to Fusion Summon, the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"
After Kaiba used his Fusion Card, the towering and threatening Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon appeared on the field ATK: 4500.
"Now" Kaiba announced "We shall Battle, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, attack Lance's Red-Eyes Black Dragon, with Neutron Blast!"
Lance saw the three headed Blue-Eyes White Dragon take aim at his Monster and then it unleashed a blue blast at his Red-Eyes Black Dragon "I activate my Trap Card: Defense Draw! It makes any Battle Damage for this attack zero and I get to draw a card!"
The Neutron Blast attack hit Lance's Red-Eyes Black Dragon but thanks to Defense Draw his Life Points were spared but his Monster was destroyed.
"I see you do have some fight in you" Kaiba told Lance as Lance drew his card "Turn end."
"It's my move!" Lance announced "I draw!"
He drew his card "First, I'll set Twin Headed Behemoth in defense mode!"
A twin headed Dragon appeared on the field but was set in defense mode. DEF: 1200
"Next" Lance told Kaiba, I'll set two cards face-down and end my turn!"
"It's my move!" Kaiba announced "I draw!"
He drew his card and checked his hand apparently it wasn't a Monster, and I couldn't see what he drawn but I had a guess it was a Spell Card. Seto Kaiba checked the field "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, attack Twin Headed Behemoth with Neutron Blast!"
"I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card" Lance announced "De-fusion!"
"WHAT?" Kaiba asked seeing Lance's Quick-Play Spell Card "No way!"
Lance nodded "I equipped my deck with support cards that can deal with any sort of Fusion or Synchro Monster support! Anyway De-Fusion allows me to defuse your Fusion Monster returning it to the three Blue-Eyes White Dragon that was used to make it!"
Seto Kaiba watched as his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon was defused into it's three Blue-Eyes White Dragon. ATK: 3000 X3
"Fine!" Kaiba announced "One of my Blue-Eyes shall obliterate your Twin-Headed Behemoth with White Lightning!"
One of Kaiba's Blue-Eyes took aim and fired at Lance's Monster obliterating it.
"I must congratulate you Lance" Kaiba told him "But now you are wide opened, so here comes my second Blue-Eyes White Dragon's attack, WHITE LIGHTNING!"
"Not today!" Lance announced "I activate my Continuous Trap Card: Destiny Break!"
"Destiny Break?" Kaiba and I asked out loud, as I have never heard of that Card before.
Lance explained "I can only activate this Continuous Trap Card on my Opponent's Battle Phase and when they declare an attack! Now this card allows me to draw one card from my deck and if the drawn card is a Monster, I get to negate your attack!"
Seto Kaiba growls "Another Wheeler type Trap Card he'd love!"
Lance drew his card and he reveals it to be Bright Star Dragon and a barrier had formed over Lance preventing damage to Lance.
"Lucky break!" Kaiba told him "Then here comes my THIRD AND FINAL ATTACK, Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack him Directly with WHITE LIGHTNING!"
The third Blue-Eyes White Dragon took aim and fired at Lance but Lance spoke "Again I activate the effect of Destiny Break!"
I was shocked that Lance seemed to be evenly matched with Kaiba. He drew again and revealed the Monster to be Cave Dragon, once again the barrier nullified Kaiba's attack.
Kaiba watches this bewildered that Lance managed to dodge three attacks! He had used up all three of his attacks and Lance was still holding his ground. Normally De-Fusion wouldn't have worked so well but for Lance...Well it helped him. Lance then explained something else "When my opponent has ended their Battle Phase, thanks to Destiny Break which destroys itself, I can Special Summon the two Monsters from my hand, so...Here they come Bright Star Dragon, and Cave Dragon!"
Destiny Break shatters then from Lance's hand, he Special Summoned his two Dragons. Bright Star Dragon looked really shiny and golden. ATK: 1900, then Cave Dragon appeared on the field as well. ATK: 2000
"Turn end" Kaiba told Lance not believing such a Trap Card like Lance's worked so well.
"Now that you've ended your turn" Lance told Kaiba "Twin-Headed Behemoth's effect activates, allowing me to Special Summon him back onto the field but his attack and defense become one thousand!"
Twin-Headed Behemoth now reappears on Lance's side of the field DEF: 1000
"My move" Lance told Kaiba "I draw!"
He drew his card "I activate the Spell Card: Greedy Dragon!"
A new Spell Card was played and on it it revealed a Red-Eyes Black Dragon hording treasure from a very saddened Dark Magician Girl. Lance explained it's effect "Greedy Dragon allows me to draw two cards for every level four or below Dragon Type monster on my side of the field!"
Since Lance had three level four Dragon Monsters on his side of the field that meant Lance could draw a total of six cards! I knew something was coming as he drew his six cards. He checked his hand "Now I summon, my Magna Drago tuner Monster!"
Manga Drago appeared on the field roaring ATK: 1400
"Tuner Monster?" Seto Kaiba asked "Great...Just like Master Marik did to me and Yugi...You plan to Synchro Summon."
"Indeed" Lance announced "I'm going to tune my Level 2 Manga Drago Tuner Monster, with my level four Cave Dragon and Level Four Bright-Star Dragon!"
That's a Level 10 Synchro Monster! I thought.
Manga Drago split into two rings as it scanned both Bright-Star Dragon and Cave Dragon while Lance chanted out "Holy Dragon of the skies descend from them and roar your majestic might...Synchro Summon Level 10, Ascension Sky Dragon!"
Ascension Sky Dragon appeared on the field out of a mighty flash of light. A clear white Dragon monster nearly like Slifer the Sky Dragon appeared on the field ATK:?
Seto Kaiba stood looking at the new Synchro Monster "Great...What does this Synchro Monster do with it's attack?"
Lance answered "Ascension Sky Dragon gains eight hundred attack points for each card in my hand. Right now, I have six!"
Kaiba watches as Ascension Sky Dragon's attack points rose to high amount of attack. ?-4800
"Next" Lance spoke "My Ascension Sky Dragon shall attack one of your Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Blazing Light!"
Lance's Synchro Monster roared gathering in light energy and fired it at one of Seto Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Kaiba watches this as Lance's Synchro Monster's attack hit his first Blue-Eyes White Dragon, it roared then it was destroyed.
Kaiba flinches as he lost his Life Points "Impressive!"
Kaiba's Life Points: 800
"Even though my Dragon will lose eight hundred of her attack points, I'll set one card" Lance told Kaiba "And it ends my turn."
Acsension Sky Dragon's attack points lowered a bit but it was still high. ATK: 4000
"It's my move!" Seto Kaiba announced "I draw!"
He drew his card "I activate the Spell Card: Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards!"
He drew two more cards then smiled "Nice, here comes the grand finalle Lance, I activate Equip Spell Card: Premature Burial! This card allows me to pay eight hundred of my Life Points in order to Special Summon one Monster in my Graveyard and I choose, my Blue-Eyes White Dragon you destroyed last turn!"
Seto Kaiba pays eight hundred of his Life Points. Seto Kaiba's Life Points: 1000
Then his Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared on the field ATK: 3000
"Next" Kaiba announced I'll activate Spell Card: Dragon Return! It allows me to Special Summon one Monster from your Graveyard and one from mine! If I don't use them they are destroyed and I take five hundred points of damage for each one brought back by the end of this turn!"
Kaiba then spoke "So, with this Spell Card, I'll bring back your Red-Eyes Black Dragon from your Graveyard and my Paladin of White Dragon in my Graveyard!"
"That doesn't make since" I muttered "None of Kaiba's Monsters have enough power to destroy Lance's Monster...Hold on..."
Seto Kaiba heard me speaking "That's right Lady Signer, those were all Special Summons and I have one more Summon, so, Behold as I tribute my three dragons to summon a power that surpasses all, a God! OBELISK THE TORMENTOR!"
Obelisk the Tormentor's theme plays
Kaiba's three Blue-Eyes White Dragon disappear and in their place was the huge and terrifying Obelisk the Tormentor.
"This duel is over!" Kaiba told Lance "With my Obelisk even as powerful as your Synchro Monster is, all I have to do is activate The God Card's Special Ability! By offering up two other Monsters on my side of the field, he can destroy all Monsters on your side of the field and inflict 4000 Points of damage to you! In fact here it comes! Obelisk, I offer up Red-Eyes Black Dragon and and Paladin of White Dragon to you so you can activate your effect! Soul Energy-MAX,
I knew this blast would finish Lance off but Lance spoke "I activate my Trap Card-"
"Trap Cards can't harm Obelisk!" Kaiba told him.
"I know" Lance said "But it's not meant for Obelisk!"
Kaiba blinked as Lance revealed his card " Ascension Light!"
The card activates and Kaiba watches as Lance explained it's effect "I can only activate this Card when Ascension Sky Dragon is on the field, I gain five hundred Life Points for each Dragon Type Monster on my side of the field!"
With this, Kaiba watches as Obelisk's mighty fist clashes down onto Lance's field destroying all of his Monsters just as a light appeared and Lance's Life Points increased by five hundred meaning he got one thousand Life Points! It was thanks to this that Lance was actually able to survive Obelisk's blast.
Lance's Life Points: 5000, then the effect hit him decimating his Life Points. Lance's Life Points: 1000
"You're wide opened," Kaiba remarked
"Not for long" Lance told him "Asension Sky Dragon's effect activates! Whenever he is destroyed by Battle or Card effect, I can bring back all the Monsters that were used to Synchro Summon him!"
Kaiba blinks as Lance brings back all of the Synchro Material Monsters that were used to Synchyro Summon his Synchro Monster and smartly they were in defense mode. DEF: 600, 1000, 100.
Kaiba choose to destroy Lance's Tuner Monster Magna Drago with Obelisk "Great...I just got done destroying all of those Monsters! Anyway, if Obelisk the Tormentor uses it's effect to destroy and inflict 4000 points of damage to you, then he can't attack so your spared for now.
Lance was certainly glad this was the case.
"You may have three more Monsters but they won't be there for long" Kaiba told Lance "For once I get two more Monsters to sacrifice to Obelisk, you'll be defeated for sure! Turn end"
Obelisk the Tormentor's theme ends
"Then I'd best make sure that doesn't happen" Lance told Kaiba "It's my move, I draw!"
Lance drew his card then smiled "It's time I end this Kaiba and free you!"
"You can't destroy Obelisk not without your strongest Synchro Summon!"
"I don't need my the Synchro Monster to defeat your Obelisk the Tormentor!" Lance told him "I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card: Dragon Fusion!"
I gave out a smile as Lance explained the effect "By removing from play from my Graveyard or Field the required cards, I can preform a Fusion Summon, so I'll remove from play, my Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Ascension Sky Dragon, Magna Drago, Twin-Headed Benemoth, and Cave Dragon!"
A FIVE DRAGON FUSION? Kaiba thought IMPOSSIBLE IT CAN'T BE THAT FUSION MONSTER!
Lance began to chant out one more time "Surpreme Dragon, rise from the ashes and fuse with your brethren to rule over the lands...FUSION SUMMON! Level 12 Five Headed Dragon!"
Five Headed Dragon appeared on the field ATK: 5000
"It gets even better" Lance told a shocked Seto Kaiba that he had this Fusion Monster "The Dragon Fusion Monster fused with Dragon Fusion, has it's attack points Doubled!"
"DOUBLED?" Kaiba demanded "It can't be!"

Kaiba then spoke out in disbelief although it was clear to hear Marik the Third's voice also coming from him "HE FOUND A WAY TO DEFEAT OBELISK!"
Lance then spoke "You bet I have Marik! Five Headed Dragon, attack withCentripetal Element Blast!"
Kaiba watches as Lance's attack hits Obelisk the Tormentor destroying it and defeating Seto Kaiba.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Seto Kaiba and Marik shouted as Lance had defeated Kaiba although it was Marik that was shouting more.

Lance's Life Points: 1000
Before Seto Kaiba could collapse I catch him and support him so I could undo Marik's brainwashing on him.
Marik the Third's voice spoke "So...Lance won against Seto Kaiba of this world!"
He then has Kaiba look at me speaking out "But yet you have the tougher opponent in Yugi Muto...If you must know he has Slifer the Sky Dragon!"
"An even worse god Card to deal with" Lance muttered to me.
I looked at Seto Kaiba as Marik spoke to me "Now Lady Signer...This is a test to see if you can beat Slifer the Sky Dragon! If you can't then...You are unworthy to even go up against the Winged Dragon of Ra!"
He tries to send Kaiba's soul to the Shadow Rhelm but I prevented it thanks to my Mark of the Dragon working. Marik growls "You saved this man's soul...But next time I'll destroy you if you can beat Yugi."
The voice of Marik left and Seto Kaiba rests his head. I turned to Lance "You beat Seto Kaiba!"
"That I did" Lance said "I'm amazed that I was able too...However it seems like you have some big problems coming up..."
I gave him a nod "Sadly so."
He sighs sitting down "Taking on Kaiba's nearly sucide...I was lucky to gain that Greedy Dragon Spell card."
"I'll say, but it paid off."
He nods sititng with me "So let's rest to make sure Kaiba's safe."
I gave him a smile "Right!"
So we wait for Seto Kaiba to come around. I was sure he wouldn't be too happy about being brainwashed. I looked around looking to see where I may find Yugi Muto. I had to win against the King of Games. Slifer was going to be a hard opponent to beat but luckily I could plan this out

Yes, this chapter is over! I managed to put a full packed Action Duel in this chapter Lance vs. Kaiba. Let me know what you all thought of it. And I might change Lady Kasumi's love interests to be Lance. Let me know if that is possible to do.
I'll do Card of the Chapter next time when Kasumi and Yugi have their Duel. Next Chapter 39, a New Enemy Part 9: Kasumi has her hands full when she Duels against Yugi Muto, can she defeat Slifer the Sky Dragon? Or is it her end?
