Chapter 38: A New Enemy P9
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.
Lance and I were still trapped in this vortex area. Lance had been victorious over this dimension's Seto Kaiba whom was in control of Obelisk the Tormentor. After Lance had managed to beat Seto Kaiba, I made sure Marik the Third didn't send Kaiba's soul to the Shadow Rhelm. It was also that it was revealed Marik had also managed to beat the Yugi Muto of this dimension. He even confirmed my worse fears that this Yugi did indeed have Slifer the Sky Dragon. No Egyptian God was easy to beat but Slifer was in my opinion a much harder foe to defeat...After all even I knew that it's attack points equaled the total number of cards in one's hand times one thousand...That was tip of the iceberg...If I summoned or Special Summoned a Monster Slifer would inflict two thousand points of damage to my monster decreasing their attack by that much and...If their attack would hit zero then Slifer would automatically destroy them. This made Slifer much harder to defeat. I realized that Boltose the Lightning Titan was my only hope into countering Slifer the Sky Dragon. Honestly I still had fears in using Boltose but perhaps I could focus my attention in making sure Yugi wouldn't be able to play Slifer the Sky Dragon, this meant I had to go onto the offensive and not let up, however Yugi wasn't a foe to take lightly. Still I had to beat Yugi Moto of this world in order to stop Marik the Third. I gripped my hands muttering "I'm coming for you Marik the Third!"
Lance was looking at Kaiba whom was coming around. He turned towards me "Think you have a shot at beating Yugi Muto?"
I sighed "Everyone has a shot at dueling Yugi Muto...However beating him is another question. However I refuse to let Marik beat me at this."
"That a girl" Lance told me.
Takara nods as she and the snow white baby Vulpix sat at my legs. I gently pet their little heads. After a while I looked around "Marik the Third has to be stopped. It's not just my family that's at stake, but this world is at stake if I let Marik the Third win. Everyone here is at risk of being enslaved by him not just humans but Pokemon as well."
"You're right" Lance admitted to me as he looked at Seto Kaiba "Especially if he was able to beat not only the Seto Kaiba of this world but Yugi Muto as well. Those two shouldn't have been beaten by him."
I agreed worried "Somehow they were. I knew Winged Dragon of Ra is the best God Card one could wield, but I'd think Obelisk the Tormentor and Slifer the Sky Dragon could've helped beat him."
I looked at the Snow White Vulpix baby "If his deck is nearly complete why does he need this one?"
"Collection issue maybe?" Lance told me.
Seto Kaiba came around "Oh, geese, what happened?"
He sees me and Lance in the Kaiba Dome plotting on our next move "Lance? The Johto League's Champion?"
"That's me" Lance told him.
"Whose the girl, your girlfriend?" Kaiba demanded in the same deminor as any Kaiba would've said this.
Lance and I blush red but my blush was redder as I spoke "I do have a boyfriend already but it's certainly not Lance!"
"She's right" Lance told Kaiba "She's just a friend."
"Could've fooled me" Kaiba told us he checked the Kaiba Dome "What are you doing here for?"
"Don't you remember anything before losing to Marik?" Lance asked him.
"That mad man?" Kaiba demanded he grips his fist "That's right...He did beat me! Using some new deck with cards I have never seen before..." he looks at my two Vulpixes "Which seem to be based off Pokemon...Then when I thought I had him...He busts out that Winged Dragon of Ra and beats even Obelisk...After that everything is a blur."
He catches on what he was wearing "WHY AM I WEARING RARE HUNTER CLOTHES?"
I answered "Marik the Third beat you and brainwashed you into being one of his Mind Slaves."
Seto Kaiba looked at me "And...You beat me?"
I looked at him crossing my arms "I might've been able to beat you...However, I didn't Duel you."
"Good..." Kaiba told me "Because I'd crush you."
Lance then spoke "You Dueled me and lost to me."
Kaiba growls "You do realize that you only won because some mad man was calling the shots instead. I would've beaten you had I been in control of myself...Enjoy your victory while it lasts because one day, I'll come to Duel you again."
It was the same Kaiba attitude that I have heard of from rumors. He sees me looking outward "And what are you here for?"
Lance explained "Marik the Third trapped me and Lady Kasumi over there with a Vortex Bomb. It forced us in here to Duel Marik's best two Rare Hunters if we want to escape."
Seto Kaiba made a fist "So...You beat me...And who do you think is Kasumi's opponent."
I answered "Yugi Muto."
"Yugi?" Kaiba demanded then he nearly made an attempt to grab me by the neck but Takara and the Snow White Baby Vulpix unleashed a warning shot of Flamethrower or Ice Beam at him causing him to think twice and I caught him in my Shadow Possession Jutsu preventing any movement from him but he spoke a warning "You can't beat Yugi, until I do!"
I looked at him "According to history you never do beat him. I have no time to argue Kaiba. If I am to escape this place...I have to duel and beat Yugi Muto of this world. Do you have any idea where he could be?"
Seto Kaiba looks at me "I'm sure he's somewhere around here in this place."
"That's no help!" I shouted sighing.
Seto Kaiba sighs "Look I'm not looking into the fact that you need to beat Yugi before I do. However there is a way I can help you."
"We have little time to act" Lance told him "Every second Marik the Third is trying to take over this world."
I retreated my shadow and Kaiba turned "I still have no clue why he's doing this however I'll help track Yugi."
Kaiba sat at his computer trying to pin point where Yugi could be looking at his satellites for a single. At first it looked like the Vortex was interfering with Kaiba's radar but pretty soon there was a spot on Kaiba's radar that was detecting someone's presence. This had to be Yugi Muto. And it looked like we had to find a way down again. I then thought of something and turned to Kaiba "Can I ask you for another favor?"
Kaiba glared at me not too happy that I was to Duel Yugi but asks "What do you want this time?"
I answered "Look, Kaiba I don't necessarily want to Duel Yugi but if I want to return to my friends in one piece I have too...Plus like you he's brainwashed so even if I do beat him...I don't recall this going against his record as he's not in control of himself."
"I suppose that's one way of looking at it" Kaiba sighed but he actually warmed up to the idea "And you could be right. This duel even if you win doesn't mean you'll face Yugi at his best one hundred percent...Honestly I'm not sure how I lost to Lance but this meant Marik the Third doesn't know my moves as much as the real me does. What is it that you want?"
I answered "Before I leave to confront Yugi, I need a way to contact my friends. Is there a way you could send a single to them for me?"
"It'll take a while but I will" Kaiba said getting to it at once.
He would be right eventually though he managed to penetrate through the vortex's field and this allowed me and Lance to contact my friends.
Haku's POV
Aang, Hanabi, Toph and I were nervous as Lady Kasumi nor Lance arrived. This was starting to scare me to death. I was beginning to realize what the others felt when the five of us left them thanks to Lord Manda hitting us so hard it sent us here. Ash, Brock, and Dawn were now worried as well. Without Lady Kasumi we were looking a bit disorganized. This wasn't something to show the enemy however we needed someone like Lady Kasumi to lead us in this dark time.
"Do you think she'll figure a way out of that area?" Dawn asked me.
"I'm hoping she does" I answered her.
Toph flicked a tiny stone with her finger "I am too but she's been missing for about four hours."
"We have to hope the Lady Signer realizes the danger she's in" Hanabi told us "And hope she prevails."
It is then we all heard Lady Kasumi's voice echoing out of nowhere calling out to us "Haku? Hanabi, Toph? Anyone there?"
"Lady Kasumi?" Hanabi asked.
"Where are you?" Ash asked "Are you a ghost now?"
Toph looked at him as she deathpanned towards him "Why do you assume Lady Kasumi's a ghost?"
"Well there are actually Ghost type Pokemon" Brock told her in Ash's defense.
"That's the first I've ever heard of it" Toph sighed.
"He speaks the truth" Max told her.
"I doubt a ghost sounds so close to Lady Kasumi" I told them then I decided to answer the lady Signer "We hear you Lady Kasumi! Are you and Lance okay?"
Lady Kasumi's voice seemed to answer us "Yes! At the moment."
"Where did that creep send you two?" Toph asked.
"We seemed to be trapped in a Vortex Dimension..." the Lady Signer explained.
"Do you require us to break you out of it?" Hanabi asked.
"The only way out of it is for us to beat Marik the Third's best Rare Hunters. Lance managed to beat Seto Kaiba freeing him and now I gotta get to this dimension's Yugi Muto."
"About that" I warned her "You do realize he has Slifer the Sky Dragon!"
"I'm way aware of it" she insured me "As Lance and I found out Kaiba had Obelisk the Tormentor."
There was a bit of interference as the single began to be lost and the Lady Signer must've known about it "Man! Marik the Third's interfering with the single Kaiba managed to produce...Anyway, I'm about to track Yugi down. Hopefully every-"
Then the single completely was lost and I knew where she was going grabbing my hands forming two fist while speaking out her sentence "Hopefully everything goes right...I wish you luck Lady Kasumi."
"What do we do now?" Ash asked me.
I put a hand underneath my chin "We'll have to wait for Lady Kasumi to win against Yugi Muto."
"Against Slifer..." Toph muttered "I don't think that's going to be easy."
"If anyone can overcome anything Lady Kasumi can" Hanabi said.
"May I ask what this Slifer the Sky Dragon is?" Max asked.
I answered him, May and Misty "In the game of Duel Monsters...Three Powerful creatures exsist. They are all known as Ancient Egyptian God Cards. Obelisk the Tormentor which Kaiba had, Slifer the Sky Dragon which this world's Yugi Muto has, and then Marik the Third has the strongest one, Winged Dragon of Ra. The Egyptian Gods are no ordinary type of Monster in the game of Duel Monsters...They are completely unaffected of Monster, Spell and Trap Card Effects. Then all three of them have devastating Monster effects. Slifer for example has the power to inflict two thousand points of damage to an opponent's Monster when he or she Summons or Special Summons a Monster, if that Monster's attack points go to zero...That Monster is destroyed."
"Great" Brock muttered "And I thought Legendary Pokemon were dangerous."
"God Cards literally have Legendary Pokemon beat by a wide margin" I warned the Pokemon Trainers "As in if all three God Cards fall into one's hands...That individual could conquer or destroy the world, or save it...And too make matters worse...Unlike most Duel Monster Cards...The God Cards can't be wielded by any Duelist."
"The God Cards have a mind of their own?" Misty asked shocked "As in they decide who can wield them?"
I nodded "Exactly. If they deem one unworthy, they could ultimately kill that Duelist."
"Sort of like the Titan Cards" Aang reminded me.
I nodded "Indeed, just like the Titan Cards."
"How can such a card do that?" Ash asked me.
I answered "Because...The God Cards are actually true Gods. Unlike the other Cards that are known, the Egyptian God Cards are actually the Gods themselves that a Duelist is summoning. In order to summon the Gods you have to be worthy. And for that reason only a selected few individuals can. And those individuals to my knowledge are Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba, and sadly Marik the Third and his ancestors."
"Great" Ash muttered "I hope Lady Kasumi is prepared to face off against a God."
Hanabi felt his pain "All we can do is hope she is. Otherwise she and Lance could be dead."
Haku turned to us "We'll let's wait till she shows up."
"agreed"
Kasumi's POV
You know something...I hate it when a message gets interrupted. I was going to tell Haku that hopefully everything would go right. At least the my friends knew I was safe for the moment. I turned to Lance whom was with me. He turned looking at me right back. We turned to see Seto Kaiba working on other things now...Basically it looked like he was working on his deck to finally beat Yugi Muto. Lance and I left the Kaiba dome towards the direction where Kaiba Corp radar suggested he was at.
"Are you ready to face off against Yugi?" Lance asked me as we ran.
I grit my teeth nervously "You bet. I never would imagine the day when I had to lock decks to duel against Yugi Muto..."
"Just remember this" Lance warned me "He's not totally himself. Marik the Third will be calling his moves and he's going to do the moves as Marik calls them out. Try to use that to your advantage."
I smiled "Right."
The four of us ran downward finding a room full of stairs which turns out had some ice and I slipped and fell onto my back...At the way down the stairs. Amazingly I missed hitting my head on the stairs but my poor back was in pain "Ouch..."
"Are you okay Lady Kasumi?" Lance asked me as he made his way down the stairs.
I grit my teeth as the fall really hurt "Not totally."
He extends his hand towards mine and I extended my own hand towards his to let him help me up "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
"Man that hurt" I muttered feeling my back "Why was there ice there?"
"Not sure" Lance admitted "Kaiba's radar only showed a place where Yugi was at...The stairway was the only ones going down."
Takara nudged my legs whimpering as the snow white Baby Vulpix did the same as if asking me if I was alright. I smiled bending down to pick them up and place them on my shoulders even when I was in deep pain "I'm okay you two."
Lance turned to me bending down "Hop on my back Lady Kasumi, I'll carry you down"
I blush a bit but obeyed him. He gently took me on his back down the last stair and once at the bottom he put me down. We came to a door and I opened it. Once opened we were in a new area. I recognized it as Yugi's Grandpa's store.
As Lance and I get close to it we saw him: Yugi Muto. He didn't seem to wear the typical Rare Hunter get up as they would normally, instead he wore his standard outfit with the Millennium Puzzle still on his chest. As I looked closer to him there was no doubt about it that he was controlled. I saw it in his eyes which literally looked like a zombie. "Yugi" I muttered hating to see him like that.
"You finally showed up Signer" Yugi spoke "I see Kaiba failed to defeat Lance...It was my Master's mistake to say he wouldn't kill you as well if Lance failed to defeat Kaiba...However if you fail to defeat me, you and Lance will both die."
"Marik..." I muttered angrily.
Yugi smirked "Had fun falling down the stairs?"
I glared "Anything to cause injury to me hugh? Marik, you are more of a coward than I thought!"
"Say what you will about Master Marik" Yugi warned me "Because now you and I will have our Duel and I look forward to absorbing your Soul the most Signer!"
I looked at my Duel Disk glaring at Yugi "That isn't something you'd normally say Yugi. I intend to save you!"
Yugi smirked as he activated his Duel Disk "Then what are we waiting for Signer? Let's begin!"
"Indeed!" I admitted activated my Duel Disk.
The two of us drew our top five cards shouting "DUEL!"
My Life Points: 4000
Yugi's Life Points: 4000
"Why don't you go first Lady Kasumi?" Yugi asked me "After all it's ladies first."
"I'll take your offer then" I told him "It's my move, I draw!"
I drew my card and checked my hand. I studied my opponent, Yugi was a dangerous opponent indeed, however I couldn't allow him to summon Slifer the Sky Dragon too early. I finally made my move "For starters, I summon my Cleric Mist in defense mode!"
Cleric Mist appeared on my side of the field DEF: 500.
"When Cleric Mist is successfully Summoned onto the field" I told Yugi "I gain one thousand more Life Points!"
My Life Points rose as Mist raised her hand and sent a healing spell at me increasing my Life Points. My Life Points: 5000
"I'll set one card face-down then end my turn" I said placing a card face down.
"It's my move!" Yugi told me "I draw!"
He drew his card "For starters I activate Spell Card: Polymerization! With it I'll fuse Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast and Befemet in order to Fusion Summon, Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast!"
Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast appeared on the field ATK: 2100
"Now" Yugi told me "We'll battle! Go Chimera, attack her Cleric Mist with Pulverizing Pounce!"
Chimera roared and flew straight towards my Cleric and I spoke "Not so fast, I activate my Quick-Play Spell Card: Draw Muscle!"
My Spell Card activated and I spoke it's effect "I can only activate this Quick-Play Spell Card if I have a face-up defense position Monster with one thousand defense points or below, thanks to this Quick-Play Spell Card my Monster isn't destroyed by Battle and I get to draw one Card!"
Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast pounces on my Monster taking her down but thanks to my Quick-Play Spell Card she wasn't destroyed and I got to draw one other card.
"Not bad" Yugi told me "I end my turn."
"It's my move then!" I announced "I draw!"
I drew again now once again having six cards in my hand and it hit my Standby Phase "Whenever Cleric Mist is on my side of the field during my Standby Phase, my Life Points increase by five hundred!"
Cleric Mist raised her hand and unleashed a smaller healing spell which increased my Life Points a bit more.
My Life Points: 5500
Good idea Lance thought The more Life Points she has the more she can spare if she has to deal with Slifer the Sky Dragon...Depending on it's attack points.
I checked my hand "I summon Swordmaster Mia in attack mode!"
Swordmaster Mia appeared on the field ATK: 1800
"Next" I spoke "I activate the Spell Card: Double Summon, it allows me to Summon one additional Monster, and I choose to Summon my Heron Leanne Tuner Monster!"
Heron Leanne appeared on the field ATK: 0
"I don't follow" Yugi told me "None of your Monsters have the attack points needed to destroy Chimera!"
"Not now they don't" I said "But I'm going to tune my level 2 Heron Leanne with my Level four Sword Master Mia!"
Heron Leanne split into two rings as she scanned my Swordmaster Mia while I chant out " Born by Blood by the Crimson Dragon, the Light Shines for the truth...For Justice, Synchro Summon...Michiah, Maiden of Dawn!
Michiah Maiden of Dawn appears on the field in a flash of light ATK: 2400
I looked at Yugi Muto "When Michiah Maiden of Dawn is on the field, all Monsters on my side of the field gain five hundred more attack points!"
Michiah's attack points rose 2400-2900
"Now" I told Yugi "Battle! Michiah, Maiden of Dawn attack Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast with Rex Aura!"
Michiah heard me and shot out her strongest light attack which sent light out at Yugi's Fusion Monster as if it were an aura but only completely white light. The attack hits over Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast and it roared before shattering and damaging Yugi's Life Points.
Yugi's Life Points: 3200
"When Chimera is destroyed" Yugi warned me "His special ability allows me to Special Summon Berefemet from the Graveyard!"
A fiend creature appeared on the field in defense mode DEF: 1800
"He won't be there for long" I warned.
"Why's that?" Yugi demanded.
"When Heron Leanne is used for a Synchro Summon of any Synchro Monster, she gives that Synchro Monster a second attack during the Battle Phase!"
"Nuts" Yugi muttered as I spoke "No Michiah attack Befermot with Rex Aura too!"
Michiah cast her strongest spell onto Yugi's Monster destroying it and leaving Yugi's field empty.
"Turn end" I told him confident I could win this as long as he didn't draw Slifer the Sky Dragon. Plus with Michiah I could attack him twice in one turn.
"It's my move!" Yugi announced "I draw!"
He drew his card then spoke "I'll set one Monster Face-down and end my turn!"
"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"
I drew my card then spoke as it hit my Standby Phase "Again, when Cleric Mist is on my field on my Standby Phase, my Life Points increase by five hundred!"
My Life Points increased more. My Life Points: 6000
"Battle!" I announced "Michiah, attack Yugi's monster with Rex Aura!"
Michiah cast her strongest spell upon Yugi's Monster and I expected it to be destroyed...However it turned out Yugi's Monster was...still standing on the field and Yugi smirked "Too bad...You attacked my Marshmellon!"
I grit my teeth hating myself for falling for this trap as Yugi spoke "While Marshmellon remains on the field, he can't be destroyed by battle, plus if he was attacked while face-down he inflicts one thousand points of damage to you!"
Marshmellon seemed to repel my Monster's attack or at least some of it back towards me and dealt me some damage. I screamed in pain as this damage hit me hard. My Life Points: 5000
"Turn end" I muttered.
"It's my move!" Yugi announced "I draw!"
He drew his card "I'll offer up my Marshmellon in order to bring out Dark Magician Girl!"
Dark Magician Girl appeared on the field ATK: 2100
"Next" Yugi spoke "I activate Spell Card: Pot of Greed, it allows me to draw two more cards!"
He drew two more cards "Next I equip, Dark Magician Girl with the Equip Spell Card: Magic Formula, it'll increase her attack points by three hundred!"
Dark Magician Girl's attack points rose a bit. 2100-2400
"Now" Yugi ordered "Dark Magician Girl attack Cleric Mist Black Burning!"
Dark Magician Girl gathered in a huge spell and sent it at Cleric Mist whom screams in pain before she is destroyed.
"I'll set one card face down" Yugi told me "and end my turn."
"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"
I drew my card "I'll set Knight Meg in defense mode!"
Knight Meg appeared on the field DEF: 1600
"Battle!" I announced " Michiah, Maiden of Dawn attack Dark Magician Girl with Rex Aura!"
Michiah rose spreading her hands then sent a light magical attack at Dark Magician Girl.
Yugi was sadly ready for it "I activate Continuous Trap Card: Spellbinding Circle!"
I grit my teeth knowing what it did and Yugi explained "With this Trap Card, I can prevent your Monster from attacking as long as my Trap Card remains on the field! Not only can you not attack but your Monster can't switch it's battle Position."
I checked my hand "I end my turn!"
"It's my move!" Yugi announced "I draw!"
He drew his card "I'll activate Spell Card: Dark Magic Curtain! By paying half of my Life Points, I can Special Summon, the one and only DARK MAGICIAN!"
I watched as Yugi paid half of his Life Points. Yugi's Life Points: 1600
Then Yugi's ace appeared on the field. ATK: 2500
"Next" Yugi spoke "I activate Spell Card: Thousand Knives! It allows me to destroy One Monster on your side of the field and I choose to destroy your Michiah Maiden of Dawn!
Thousands of Knives appeared around Dark Magician and he shot it out towards my Synchro Monster whom took the knives screamed once and then she was destroyed.
"Now" Yugi told me smiling "The power is on the other side! Dark Magician Girl, attack Knight Meg with Black Burning!"
Dark Magician Girl took aim and fired at Knight Meg as I spoke out Knight Meg's effect "While Knight Meg is in defense mode! She can't be destroyed by battle by one attack!"
Knight Meg was able to take the blast without being destroyed but Yugi spoke again "Good, so I have one more attack coming and it's from my Dark Magician, go Dark Magician attack DARK MAGIC ATTACK!"
Dark Magician took aim and fired his attack at my Monster whom was then completely destroyed by Dark Magician's attack...
"Turn end" Yugi told me.
"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"
I drew my card then saw what it was "I activate Spell Card: Fallen Comrads! This card allows me to draw one card for each Monster in my Graveyard, and currently I count five! Cleric Mist, Heron Leanne, Sword Master Mia, Michiah, Maiden of Dawn, and...Knight Meg which means I draw five cards!"
With this I drew five new cards then checked my hand then nodded "Here I go! For this move I summon Wyvern Rider Jill in defense mode!"
A red haired girl on a dragon appeared on the field DEF: 1000
"Next" I told Yugi "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn!"
"It's my move then!" Yugi announced "I draw!"
He drew "I activate the Spell Card: Double Spell, it allows me to use a Spell you used on your last turn from your Graveyard! And I choose to use your Fallen Comrads Spell!"
I frowned as Yugi spoke "Now I shall draw one card for each Monster in my Graveyard, and I have four!"
With this Yugi drew four new cards "Next I summon Alpha the Magnet Warrior!"
Alpha the Magnet Warrior appeared on the field ATK: 1400
"Now" Yugi told me "Go, Alpha the Magnet Warrior attack her Wyvern Rider Jill!"
Alpha The Magnet Warrior charges and slices my Monster.
"You're wide opened" Yugi warned me "Now Dark Magician Girl, attack her Directly!"
"Not so fast!" I announced "I activate Continuous Trap Card: Call of the Haunted to bring back Michiah, Maiden of Dawn!"
My Trap Card activated and I summoned Michiah, Maiden of Dawn back to the field. ATK: 2400
I smiled at Yugi "And once again my Monster gains five hundred attack points just for herself being on the field."
Yugi smiled "Impressive!" 2400-2900
He checked his hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn.
I checked his field he had three Monsters! If he got Slifer the Sky Dragon on his next turn, I was in trouble! I had to take one of his Monsters out.
"It's my move," I announced "I draw!"
I drew my Card and checked my hand "I'll activate Michiah's Special ability, by halfing her attack points till the end of my turn she can bring back one Monster from my Graveyard, and I choose, Swordmaster Mia!"
Michiah's attack points were halved. 2900-1450
Then Swordmaster Mia appeared on the field "Next I summon my Hyper Synchron Tuner Monster!"
Hyper Synchron Appeared on the field. ATK: 1600
"Next" I told Yugi "I'm going to tune my level four Hyper Synchron with my Level four Swordmaster Mia!"

Olympian Dragon's attack points rose 2600-3400
I had a choice should I go for the win and attack Alpha the Magnet Warrior? That seemed like a solution "Olympian Dragon attack Alpha the Magnet Warrior with Olympus Lightning!"
Olympian Dragon roared and charged up an attack then sent it towards Yugi's Magnet Warrior. I then spoke "When Olympian Dragon attacks a Monster whose attack or defense is lower than her own, she automatically destroys it and inflict battle damage!"
"I'm not finished yet!" Yugi announced "I activate Trap Card: SHIFT!"
Yugi's face down card activated and he spoke it's effect "With this Trap Card, I can redirect your attack to one of my other Monsters, and I choose to switch it to Dark Magician!"
I watched as Olympian Dragon's attack is redirected to Dark Magician and he is destroyed.
Yugi's Life Points fall: 700
I checked my hand "I'll activate Equip Spell Card: Olympian Medallion and I equip it to Olympian Dragon! With it the Monster equipped with this Spell Card is the only Monster that can be targeted by attack."
"It's my move!" Yugi announced "I draw!"
He drew "I activate Spell Card: Card of Sancity! It allows us to draw until we have six cards in our hand!"
Yugi and I drew until we had six cards in our hand and I saw him smile "Perfect! I activate Spell Card: Monster Reborn, in order to bring back...Dark Magician!"
Dark Magician appears on the field ATK: 2500
"Next" Yugi announced "I'll tribute Alpha, the Magnet Warrior, Dark Magician Girl, and Dark Magician in order to bring out Slifer the Sky Dragon!"
Yugi's three Monsters vanish and his dragon the Egyptian God Card appeared and I sweat nervously, this was a monster I was going to have trouble with now. It appears roaring ATK:?
"Slifer the Sky Dragon gains one thousand attack points for each card in my hand" Yugi told me smiling "And I have four!"
I watch as Slifer's attack points were revealed to be 4000.
"I might not be able to destroy your Olympian Dragon" Yugi announced "But I activate Spell Card: Egyptian Rage! Until the end of my Battle Phase, It allows me to attack with Slifer the Sky Dragon for each Monster you have on your side of the field. Plus it allows me to draw one card in exchange for it.
I watched as even though Yugi played a Spell Card, he was able to draw one additional card to keep his Monster's attack at four thousand. Yugi points to Olympian Dragon "I might not be able to destroy your Monster, but I can still do damage to it Go Slifer, attack number one! Attack Olympian Dragon with Thunder Force!"
Slifer took aim and fired it's attack at Olympian Dragon. Thanks to Olympian Dragon's effect and thanks to Hyper Synchron's effect she wasn't destroyed but the pain got to me as I kneeled on the ground.
My Life Points: 2400
"That was attack number one" Yugi taunted me "Now here comes attack number two! Thunder Force!"
I watched as Slifer took aim and fired at Olympian Dragon once again it strikes her and I kneeled more screaming but my Life Points doubled the damage.
My Life Points: 1200
"What happened?" I asked.
Yugi answer "I removed Egyptian Rage from the Graveyard. Any battle damage on the second or third attack doubles for that one attack only. And now here is the third attack...Which will do normal damage...Go Thunder Force!"
I watched as Slifer attacked Olympian Dragon again then my Life Points fell more but my Monster wasn't destroyed. I was on the ground kneeling as my Life Points lowered more.
My Life Points: 600
"Turn end" Yugi told me "Next round you are finished!"
I was still catching my breathe as I stood up knowing this was intense "It's my move, I draw!"
I drew my card then felt a spark and saw it was Boltose!
I needed one more Monster on the field and I had one "I summon Thunder Mage Illyana!"
Thunder Mage Illyana appeared on the field ATK: 1300
"Big mistake!" Yugi told me "For Slifer's effect activates! When you summon or Special Summon a Monster he inflicts 2000 points of damage to your monster since it doesn't have the attack to spare once it hits zero your Monster is destroyed...Go SliferSummon Thunder Bullet"
I was waiting for it "I activate Quick-Play Spell Card: Class Change!"
Yugi blinks "Class Change? Spells don't work on Slifer!"
"It's not targetting him" I told him "Class Change allows me to Send to the Graveyard one or more Monsters to the Graveyard and Special Summon a higher class. For example the only Monster I can do this on is Lightning Mage Illyana!"
Lightning Mage Illyana disappears and I shouted "With Class Change she becomes Lightning Sage Illyana!"
Lightning Mage Illyana now reappears but this time she looked bigger and in Sage clothing ATK: 2100
Yugi watches as Slifer was forced to unleash it's effect once again but this time Lightning Sage Illyana had the attack needed but she was drained heavily. 2100-100
"Next" I said "I'll activate Spell Card: Olympian Prayer! It allows me to pay five hundred Life Points to Normal Summon one other Monster!"
I paid five hundred Life Points.
My Life Points: 100
Then I spoke "Now you aren't the only one with a God Card Yugi! I offer up Lightning Sage Illyana, Olympian Dragon, and Michiah, Maiden of Dawn in order to Summon Boltose the Lightning Titan!"
The gates of Tardis appeared and then broke apart unleashing powerful god like energy into the air. There was crack of thunder, lightning fell from the sky, then a thunder cloud appeared firing one huge lightning bolt which took shape into a big, big Titan monster in shape of a Lightning Bolt. ATK: ?
Yugi watches "What is this and what is with it's attack?"
I answered "Boltose the Lightning Titan's attack is equal to the combined total of my Monster's original attack points!"
Yugi gasped "No way!"
I nodded "Yes way, and my Monsters had Twenty-One Hundred Attack Points, Twenty-Six Hundred attack Points and Twenty-Four Hundred Attack Points!"
Yugi watches as my Monster's attack points were high. ATK: 7100
Yugi then spoke "Slifer the Sky Dragon's ability activates causing your monster to lose two thousand of it's attack points!"
"Even with that power it doesn't mean a thing to Boltose!" I told him.
Boltose's attack points were lowered by two thousand. 7100-5100
"Not only does Boltose gain the attack from my Monsters that I used to Summon him" I warned Yugi "But if they had effects, he gains them which all of my Monsters did! So Michiah, Maiden of Dawn's effects are his including the ability to increase his attack Points by 500!"
Yugi frowned seeing this 5100-5600
"Next" I told him "Even though it won't apply to a God Card, it also gained Olympian Dragon's effects to not be destroyed by battle and would normally destroy it automatically when he attacks but there is one more ability coming from Lightning Mage Illyana or Lightning Sage Illyana, if she were to attack a Dragon Type Monster her attack points double during the Battle Phase!"
Yugi watches as I smiled "Go Boltose, the Lightning Titan, attack Slifer the Sky Dragon, Titan Lightning Storm!"
Yugi watches as the attack comes at his Slifer with Boltose's attack doubling 5600-11200 and he spoke "Sorry, but you are forgetting about someone...Kuriboh, by discarding him from my hand to the Graveyard, I can make Battle Damage Zero for the turn!"
He discarded his Kuriboh and even when Slifer was destroyed Yugi's Life Points were spared.
"Turn end" I said but I smiled as I warned him "But too bad you won't be around to draw again."
"Why is that?" Yugi demanded.
I answered with a smile "Because when I or you End our turns, Boltose the Lightning Titan's true ability activates. If one of us ends our turns Boltose inflicts one thousand points of damage to you!"
Yugi watches amazed as a lightning crackled around Boltose as I shouted "Lightning Shower!"
He is struck and his Life Points deputed.
Yugi's Life Points: 0
My Life Points: 100
He stumbles backwards and Marik the Third's voice sounded "Impossible! You beat Yugi...And he had Slifer the Sky Dragon!"
I looked at Yugi but mostly tried to look at Marik "This is over Marik! Lance and I have won this."
"So you have" Marik told me "Even though I must release you two back to your friends...This changes nothing! I still have the Winged Dragon of Ra and your Monsters are nothing to it!"
Before he could send Yugi's soul to the Graveyard the Millennium Puzzle activated freeing Yugi from Marik's control now that I had beaten him. Yugi looks at me and smiled weakly "Thanks for saving me Kasumi."
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
Yugi answered "Just because he brainwashed me doesn't mean I wasn't aware of whom I was dueling...Thank you...Please put a stop to him."
"I promise I will" I told him as the Vortex, Lance and I were in started to Lance myself and my two Vulpixes back.

Duel is over and Kasumi prevailed over Yugi. Please note guys that he was mind controlled and the real Yugi and Kasumi if they would duel would have a much greater Duel and Yugi might be able to beat her if this was the real Yugi that wasn't mind controlled. Anyway next chapter is Chapter 39: A New Enemy P10: Kasumi and Lance are reunited with their friends and now make their way to stop Marik, on the way Hanabi and Toph meet Pokemon of their own that they want to save.
