Chapter 39: A New Enemy P10

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

I must say one things about vortexes...And that thing is...They are completely weird. No sooner had I promised the Yugi Muto of this dimension to stop Marik the Third did Lance and I start to vanish out of the vortex. I normally wasn't dizzy when it came to spins however the vortex had that effect on me. I felt my head spinning and I nearly passed out...No wait I did and Lance caught me so I wouldn't hit the ground. I heard Haku's voice before passing out say my name "Lance! Lady Kasumi!"

I came around about five minutes later. I shook my head "What a weird experience going out a vortex caused me..."

"How are you feeling?" Hanabi asked me as she and Haku looked concerned for me.

"I feel fine right now" I muttered sitting upright "That spinning around made me dizzy..."

"You beat Slifer the Sky Dragon!" Toph told me.

"That I did" I admitted shaking my head.

"You should rest Lady Kasumi" Haku told me "Just for a little while. Just to make sure you can walk and know for sure your fine to move on."

Brock agreed with Haku "Yeah, feeling dizzy and passing out like that can't be a good thing."

I tried to get onto my feet but Hanabi held me down "Hanabi?"

"You're resting Lady Kasumi" Hanabi told me in a worried tone "Please...Don't force yourself to move. We need your completely healthy."

"I gave Yugi of this dimension my promise to defeat Marik the Third."

"And we are going to do that" Aang told me "But we need you to recover from your little passing out spell. Besides you have been threw a lot."

"I'll say she has" Toph muttered "After all she was sucked into a vortex and trapped there till Lance and Lady Kasumi were able to beat Marik the Loser's best Rare Hunters whom held the Egyptian God Cards, Obelisk the Tormentor or Slifer the Sky Dragon."

"Then having to return like that" Ash admitted.

I tried to proclaim was okay to move on but Haku and Hanabi weren't letting me pass. I gave out a sigh "...Fine...I'll rest a while."

"You should rest too Lance" Haku told him.

"I'll take you up for that offer" Lance admitted almost eager.

Takara was at my side as was the Snow White baby Vulpix whom were just as concerned for me as anybody there.

"She'll be fine Takara" Brock told my pet Vulpix "She just needs to rest."

Takara strangely acknowledged him by shaking her head understandingly "Vulpix."

As I lay my head down on the ground Max now sees the Snow White Baby Vulpix for the first time in his life he blinks "Wow, I didn't know Vulpix's could be different color"

May notices her too "She's cute though. Perhaps it's a Shiny Vulpix?"

"Doubt it sis" Max told her.

"Another difference in the two Vulpixes" Ash told them "Is Takara is the Normal Fire Type but the Snow White Baby Vulpix seems to be able to breathe Ice."

"A Fire type Vulpix and an Ice type?" May asked "How can that be?"

Max put a hand underneath his chin "Good question...All the normal Vulpixes around here should be Fire Type...Perhaps there might be something in the area where the baby came from? Maybe it's an adaption to that area."

"That could be it" Haku said.

Toph looks at Lance "Lady Kasumi, Lance...How was facing off against two of the three Ancient Egyptian God Cards?"

Lance and I answered her "Terrifying! Those Monsters are huge!"

Lance turned to me "However out of all of us, due to Lady Kasumi seeing that my opponent the Seto Kaiba of this world, use Obelisk the Tormentor on me, and Marik the Third admitted the Yugi of this world had Slifer the Sky Dragon, Lady Kasumi was the only one of the two of us prepared to deal with the God Card she fought."

"Boltose helped me twice" I muttered "Against you Lance and against Yugi...Winged Dragon of Ra is the last one..."

Haku turned to me "Shall I help you against Marik the Third when you have to duel him?"

I turned to him smiling "I'll think of something. Besides as I said before, I gave Yugi Muto of this dimension my promise to defeat Marik the Third."

"If you can beat Yugi then I'm sure you can beat Marik the Third" Max told me.

"Careful there" Haku told him.

"What you don't agree with that statement?" Max asked him.

"Yugi Muto was brain controlled by Marik the Third like a puppet master. Marik was controlling Yugi's moves as the same with Kaiba when Lance dueled him. Even though they spoke in their voices, Marik was controlling their actions. History in the dimension we come from say that that Yugi and Kaiba are super strong. So who knows how a proper and actual Duel between Yugi and Lady Kasumi would come out...Same thing with Lance dealing with Kaiba of our dimension."

"Oh!"

Ash turned to me "We're glad you're back."

I turned to him a faint smile on my face "Thanks...However when I go duel against Marik the Third when we find him...When I beat him, that'll truly count...He does have the Winged Dragon of Ra though...Arguably the strongest of the Egyptian God Cards."

"Ra's that strong?" Ash asked me.

"It's no pushover that's for sure" I insured him.

"With abilities like it's attack points are determined by the combined tributes Monster's ATK. Then allowing the user to pay everything but one Life Point to give to Ra for more attack, and it's own effect which can destroy all cards on the field except for itself means it's truly that dangerous."

All the Trainers were silent as this God Card sounded really strong.

"Is there a way for Lady Kasumi to beat it?"

"No card is unbeatable" Hanabi told them "But the Winged Dragon of Ra is hard to deal with."

"Great" Max muttered "How is it someone like Marik the Third can wield it so easily?"

"Must be through Genetics" I told him "Marik the Third's last name should be Ishtar. The Ishtars have a strong lineage in Egypt. Marik the Third's father was Marik Ishtar whom was pretty strong but he did have the Winged Dragon of Ra. So if the first Marik Ishtar had such a Card then by birth Marik the Third can wield it safely."

"Plus" Haku added on "No one says you have to be good to use the God Cards, just as long you are worthy. So that means even an evil person can use the God Card as long as they are worthy."

"Can you really beat Ra?" May asked me.

I looked at her "I beat Slifer the Sky Dragon which is a pretty hard card to beat in it's own right. That gives me confidence that I can handle the Winged Dragon of Ra...But it won't be easy to handle...However I refuse to let Marik the Third beat me using it. For this dimension...And for all other worlds...He has to be stopped at all costs. After all my vow to Yugi in stopping Marik the Third will not go unchecked! I have to stop him and I will do it. I have to...Otherwise this mad man will get what he wants this world and revenge on my father which means after this world is conquered he'll start with my world..."

I clinched my fist "If there is one thing Marik doesn't know about my family is...We Fudos won't stop to defend our friends and family. Nothing can stop a Fudo when he or she in my case wants to do something about a villain."

Misty now smiles "That's some fiery words!" she then sees the fire in my eyes "And I can tell that you truly mean every word you said."

Haku nodded turning to her "You're looking at Lady Kasumi...The Daughter of Yusei Fudo and Aki Inziki. What Lady Kasumi said about Fudos are true. Her father Yusei is just like her and the one most likely that passed down that courage into his daughter. If you threatened his friends or family, Yusei wouldn't stop perusing you till he stopped you. He really stood truly for what he felt was right and always made sure to stop any threat...No matter what hurdle the villain threw at him...Mess with his friends or family or anything he cared for, he'd take you out sooner or later. It is a reason why he's respected in both Satellite and New Domino City. After the Zone incident, Yusei shows how far he's really come. All those good words and heroic acts flow through Lady Kasumi's veins. Sure she has her mother Psychic Powers, but she has her father's heart."

"Those are very powerful words" Max said seeing me blush "You embarrassed her."

"It's because he's right" I told Max "All those words he used to describe the heroic actions of my father are right to the T. I share my father's courage, heart, and the sense for justice to prevail. Marik the Third will be stopped."

Ash turned towards the area "How about we head out a bit further? I mean Lady Kasumi and Lance are resting but we should scout the area."

"Plus Team Rocket is still searching for Marik the Third" Dawn admitted.

"It would give us something to do" Brock admitted.

"Then let's go" Aang said "And see what we can do."

"I can't see much" Toph admitted "But I'm interested in bringing down this Marik the Third! I'm so going to kick his butt once he loses to Lady Kasumi."

"Ether that or perhaps you'll settle with flinging a rock to his balls?" Ash asked her.

Toph smirked "That I'll do too."

The group was about to leave and in fact all the trainers, Aang, and Toph head down the path leaving Haku and Hanabi behind. Ash felt this turning to them "You two aren't coming?"

Hanabi answered "With Lady Kasumi resting she needs me and Haku to watch over her and Lance."

"Some of Marik's Rare Hunters could still be about" Haku admitted "So it's best Hanabi and I stay back to watch over their backs."

"Just don't go too far" Hanabi advised them.

"We'll try not to!" Brock said.

"ASH YOU BETTER NOT GET US LOST!" Misty shouted at Ash.

"Me get us lost?" Ash demanded at her "When was the last time I got us lost?"

He'd get his answer from not only the fiery red head in Misty, but Brock, Dawn, May, and Max "YOU ALWAYS GET US LOST!"

"Wow..." Toph muttered as Ash was hanging his head at being shouted at like that "Someone around us doesn't have any sense of direction!"

Ash got an idea "Oh yeah guys? Well one of us is blind! I bet she couldn't find her way around these woods!"

Toph smirked out at him "I may not be able to see but I can still feel where I'm going."

The group now leaves me and Lance behind with my two teammates protecting the two of us.

Meowth POV

James, Jessie and I are well on our mission to discover Marik the Third's hideout. It was a long journey but we were making progress. At one point I thought I felt as if our new but temporary boss lady vanish. Then after about two hours I felt as if she returned. So I never really bothered to tell Jessie and James about that. In my eyes the Lady Signer must've went on a side quest. We finally came to a big building. Still in our disguises as Rare Hunters we managed to sneak in carefully. Luckily we weren't spotted at all.

"Do you think Marik the Third is here?" Jessie whispered.

"It's the only big building we haven't checked out" I told her in a whisper.

James studies some lasers "Well someone important must be here...There are security lasers."

"Not a problem" I proclaimed "After all I come prepared with an EMP button!"

"EMP?" James inquired.

"Electro Magnetic Pulse" I answered as I pulled out a button "Watch this go to work!"

I pressed the button and a tiny electrical current passes into the lasers disabling them.

"Great work Meowth!" Jessie told me "Now let's get deeper in the place threw the vents and we'll see where we can go from there."

"Right away!" was our reply.

So with the lasers disabled the three of us found some air vents and began crawling in them stealthily. Turns out the air vents had covering over them and down below we all saw Rare Hunters walking around.

"This must be the place where Marik is" I whispered.

None of the Rare Hunters seemed to hear me or my partners as we silently were still in the vents. In the air vents I pressed another button giving us detailed information about the place we sat down whispering our next plan.

"According to the map of this place from the air vents there are three path ways which all lead to one room. I say we split up and carefully make our way towards that area."

"Rodger that" was the agreement.

I decided to take the middle path with Jessie agreeing to take the air vent path to the right with James doing the same with the left. So we took our paths and within about five minutes we all make it the the room together again. From our vantage point we sat and saw it was some sort of room where we carefully read on a sign Marik's room.

Inside the room we saw a human sitting down cringing and cursing out "Curse that Lady Signer! She beat my two best Rare Hunters!" we see him reach for his deck "However with you on my side Winged Dragon of Ra...I'll not only destroy Kasumi but capture her souless body to use against her father Yusei."

We had the jackpot and I turned to my friends "We found him"

"Indeed" Jessie whispered now we have to go straight back to the boss lady."

It is then the figure shifts up towards the air vents, I catch sight of this and we hid ourselves. We started to head back when a voice rang over in the loudspeaker "Attention...my Rare Hunters...We have spies in our mist...In the Air Vents...Prepare to smoke them out!"

"How'd he see us?" I asked.

"Not sure Meowth" Jessie admitted "But we gotta get out of here!"

The three of us hurry as we hear smoke literally being sent into the vents. I turned towards the smoke "COME ON GUYS! HURRY IT UP!"

We try to hurry it up but the smoke just as we were about to exit the air vents gives us no time for thinking and an explosion which was caused by the smoke caused us to fall on top of our heads and in the path of three Rare Hunters.

"The spies!" The Rare Hunters call out "Get them!"

Jessie turned to James "We have to fight them!"

I saw a fourth Rare Hunter trying to make contact with Marik almost saying they have us however Jessie catches my gaze grabbing a Pokeball "Seviper! Quick use Poison Tail! On that fourth Rare Hunter!"

"Cacnea use Pin Missile on the rest of them!" James ordered.

Seviper comes out of it's Pokeball and unleashes it's Poison Tail. It hits the Rare Hunter so hard it knocked him out instantly. Cacnea however comes out and hugs James as usual with James shouting "NOT ME RIGHT NOW! THEM!"

James threw Cacnea and it unleashes it's Pin Missile on the other Rare Hunters taking them down. Before more could arrive to assist, we were off safe an on our balloon to tell the boss lady.

Kasumi's POV

Thirty Minutes later, Lance and I were rested and we now get up to join the others. When we got there, we saw the group looking around. Ash saw me and smiled. I smiled back with Haku and Hanabi at my side. Misty turned "Feeling better?"

"You bet" I said.

"So what's going on here?"

"Seems to be some Pokemon Trainers are here" Misty told me.

Hanabi turned to see the building and she saw the cloaks "Rare Hunters..."

Aang returned from scouting "I saw some Pokemon being held prisoner."

"That's sad" Lance muttered.

Toph felt something "Can we rescue the Pokemon?"

"We should" I admitted.

Two Rare Hunters approached us with Lance standing up "I'll handle these two!"
The Rare Hunters pause as Lance holds out his Pokeball "Dragonite go!"

Dragonite appears "Dragonite!"

The two Rare Hunters nod at each other calling out their Dragons "Garchomp, Salamance!"

"You sure you don't need help?" I asked Lance.

Lance studied his opponents "As I said I'll handle them"

"Okay" I said.

We all hurried down and Hanabi scans the building seeing two Pokemon "One of the Pokemon are in the back with the other at the front!"

Haku turned to me "Which side?"

"Back!" I said.

A ten Rare Hunters come out but I unleash a mental blast at them sending them flying and knocking them out.

"Nice move!" Misty called to me.

Hanabi turned to me "We're going with Lady Kasumi to attack them from the back!"

"Got it!" Ash said seeing more Rare Hunters come at him "Pikachu ready?"

"Pika!" Pikachu replied.

"Then Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash ordered.

"Crogunk!" Brock announces "Come on out!"

"Crogunk!" Brock's Crogunk replied.

" Starmie!" Misty replied "You are up!"

She tries to throw her Pokeball for Starmie but instead...A yellow duck Pokemon appeared "Psyduck!"

"NOOO!" Misty shouted angrily "Not you!"

"I still see you still have him" Ash told her.

Misty sighed "I must've accidentally grabbed his Pokeball...

"Bunnery come on out!" Dawn ordered and Dawn's Bunnery appears.

"Glaceon, go!" May ordered.

The Trainers unleash their Pokemon and prepare to battle the Rare Hunters. This allowed Aang, and Toph to sneak past the Rare Hunters to go into the Front of the building. Hanabi, Haku and I entered the back. Once at the back Four Rare Hunters appear but I was ready for them "Takara, Flamethrower!"

Takara nods rushing ahead "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

At the same time the snow white baby Vulpix shouts the same "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

Takara breathes out her flames while the Snow White baby Vulpix unleashes her Ice Beam.

Two Rare Hunters go down in flames or frozen. Haku sees his chance throwing a needle at the throat at a Rare Hunter while ordering his Sneasel "Sneasel Night Slash!"

Sneasel brings out his claws and slashes the other down. A fifth Rare Hunter pauses seeing this "You're attacking us?"

"Don't play innocent!" I told him angrily "Your Master Marik has messed with the wrong Signer!"

I Earthbended a rock and sent it crashing at his head taking him down.

"Nice shot!" Haku told me.

Hanabi caught a Rare Hunter by his hand then jabbed him in the heart with a gentle fist taking him down.

"Where is the Pokemon you saw Hanabi?" I asked her.

Hanabi turns "Over here!"

Haku and I follow her and we entered the room and in a cage was a small Pokemon. It had a yellow body, it's arms and legs were pink. Hanabi feel in love with it "Hang in there!"
The Pokemon eyes her "Meinfoo!"

I see a lock on it then Earthbended a Boulder then held it. I would then bang the boulder onto the lock trying to destroy it. BANG, BANG, BANG! No matter how hard I hit it wouldn't come loose. Haku wisely had Hanabi and my back watching the door closely.

Four more Rare Hunters come in but Haku easily takes them out with a few needles. More come though and Takara breathes out her Flamethrower. They scream but I unleash my Shadow Possession Jutsu to stop them from moving.

Hanabi tries to free the Meinfoo trying to pry the lock off "We might need to use Takara's Flamethrower!"

I turned nodding "Right. Takara!"

"Vulpix!" Takara shouted.

I smiled at her "Flamethrower the lock, but only the lock!"

Takara smiles opening her mouth "VVVUUULLLPPPIIIXXX!"

She sent a fire attack through her mouth then at the lock. The Lock wasn't able to take the flames and melted off. Hanabi and I opened the cage and the Pokemon Meinfoo jumps out into Hanabi's arms "You're free little one!"

"Meinfoo!" Meinfoo nodded and it decided to stay with us.

I turned to them "Okay let's head to the front."

I retreated my shadow then both Hanabi and I dispatch the Rare Hunters with a Gentle Fist to their faces. They fall and the three of us head to the front to see Aang Air Bending some Rare Hunter backwards "Dodou, Quick Attack!"

Aang's Dodou runs at seven Rare Hunters taking them down then they turned to see me with my hands glowing and shout at them "Black Rose Gale Twister!"

I unleashed Black Rose Dragon's attack which engulfed them and sent them crashing and nearly killed aside. Toph even Earth Bended at three others sending a rock wave at them and caused them to fall to the ground. Aang then saw some water coming down a facet and he Water Bends the Water that froze the Rare Hunters solid.

Toph then saw Hanabi's Meinfoo "What is this Pokemon?"

"If a Pokemon only says it's name" Hanabi admitted "She calls herself Meinfoo."

"She's cute" Aang told her.

"Thanks!" Hanabi said turning to one other door and Haku kicked the door opened. Inside it was another cage with a small shrew. It blinked then looked at us. Toph couldn't see it but the Pokemon makes an attempt to escape. Toph heard it's claws scraping it's cage "Lady Kasumi, cover me while I bust it out please."

"Alright' I said "However banging it with a Rock might not do because I tried that to rescue Meinfoo!"

"It didn't work" Hanabi admitted "We had to have Takara burn it off."

This didn't stop Toph "I'll continue to pound it"

She earth bends and sends a Rock to it. It hits but like my attempt at rescuing Meinfoo the lock holds. Toph tries again sending a hard rock at the lock. The lock still holds and Toph growls "It's gotta be destroyed sometime!"

"Let's try to use Takara again!" Hanabi said.

Meinfoo on the other hand jumped in front of the lock then focused in it's power then punches out at the lock! With one punch the lock comes off.

"Okay" Hanabi muttered "We didn't need to use Takara's flames."

Haku opened the cage and the Pokemon appears. I turned to my friends "Okay we got the Pokemon, let's go see the battles between our friends."

We all look out and join our Pokemon Trainer Friends. All of the Rare Hunters had been defeated by Ash, Brock, Dawn, May, Max and Misty. Not to mention somehow Lance's Dragonite defeated Garchomp and Salamance. Ash sees us "You saved the captive Pokemon?"

"We have!" I told him "Now! Let's send them packing shall we?"

"We shall!" Ash agreed he turned to Pikachu "Pikachu, Thunder Bolt them!"

Pikachu nods unleashing his Thunder Bolt "PPPIIIKKKAAACCCHHHUUU!"
The Rare Hunters scream then are sent flying off.

"There they go" I muttered.

It is then we saw Team Rocket's balloon.

"It's Team Rocket!" Misty shouted "Ash prepare to battle them!"

"Hold on there!" I told her "They are allies to us."

"Hugh?"

Brock explained the sitatuion and how Team Rocket was working for us now.

"So you three turned over a new leaf?" Misty asked them.

"This is only temporary until this mess with Marik the Third is over!" Jessie told her.

"Yeah!" James said.

Meowth turned to me "Boss lady, we found where Marik the Third lives...We barely got out of his hideout alive."

"I'm glad you three got out safely"
Jessie nods "Quick acting saved the day."

"So where is his hideout?" Ash asked.

"Two Hours away" Jessie said "If you want we'll take you all there."

"Do so" I said "Let's not go on your balloon though, they know what you took to get away. We have to go on foot."

This was agreed to. It turned to my friends "This is it everyone...The final battle...The Final Duel, then after the Duel we'll reunite the baby Vulpix with her mother."

Max agreed "I like that idea."

With this we began heading out with me thinking Time to take Marik the Third down

Sorry it's short but this was to be the chapter where Toph and Hanabi got their Pokemon. Plus now Marik has been spotted. Next chapter is chapter 40: Kasumi vs. Marik P1: Team Rocket leads the group to Marik's hideout where Kasumi finally confronts Marik the Third...Who will be victorious over the other?
