Chapter 51: True Duel! Lance vs. Kasumi P2

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

I was in the middle of a duel against Lance. There was no doubt in my mind that I had found my rival. Any other Duelist might've surrendered if they were in my position. As I looked at the field, I'll remind you what I was up against. My Life Points were 4900, I had two Monsters on the field my Cleric Mist in defense mode with 500 DEF, and Michiah, Maiden of Dawn, but due to Lance's attack her Attacks points and his Field Spell's effect they were at 2500 ATK. I also had three trap cards face down which were Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Shade, and Dodge Attack. Now on my opponent's side of the field Lance's Life Points were at 3300. However he had Three Monsters out, one being Ascension Sky Dragon with 4800 attack points, The First of the Dragons at 2700 ATK and as I found out during my last turn, it couldn't be destroyed by anything other than a Normal Monster, and finally during his latest turn he had brought out a New Synchro Monster one I had never seen before in Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon at 2500 attack points. I had no idea what Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon had but I had the sneaky suspicion that Lance wouldn't have brought it out if he didn't think it wasn't going to be useful, deep down I had a feeling Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon had an effect or effects, I wasn't going to like. I had to trend carefully and figure out what it's effects were. Then he also had his field Spell Card Dragon's Kingdom, this prevented his weaker dragons from being destroyed by battle and only allowed me to target his strongest Monster which at the moment was Ascension Sky Dragon and he had the Dragon's Rage Continuous Trap Card face-up which meant I would suffer piercing damage if a Dragon Type Monster attacked one of my own and they were in defense mode. I had just drawn my card and I pointed out towards Mist "Since Mist is still out on my side of the field, my Life Points shall increase my five hundred!"

My Life Points got a raise but as I looked at the Dragons I was facing, I somehow knew it would take all I had to overcome this. My Life Points: 5400

"Trend carefully Lady Kasumi" Lance warned me "Because all of my dragons will be free to attack you. Also don't forget that my Field Spell does more than just prevent my weaker Dragons from being targeted or destroyed in battle when I attack. While it's out my dragons are immune to most card effects."

"True" I admitted checking the scene "But I won't back down! I'll never give up."

"She has guts" Ash muttered watching the Duel "Lance has the upper hand now...Three powerful Dragon Type Monsters, none are capable of being destroyed by most card effects, one has forty-eight hundred attack points and that's the one she has to take out due to his Field Spell...How does she find the courage to continue the Duel knowing he has her in a bind?"

Naruto answered "One can say some duelist are stubborn to admit defeat. I'm well one of them except when that Duelist has beaten me. However in my sister's case, she was brought up by her parents to never give up no matter how hopeless the situation looks. There's always a way to win. You just have to believe in yourself and hang in there."

I checked my hand and saw something that could protect me for three whole turns "I activate Spell Card: Swords of Revealing Light!"

Three swords fell from the sky and I pointed out towards Lance "Now for three whole turns your Monsters can't attack."

"Delaying your defeat" Lance told me "But we'll see what you can do."

I then spoke "I summon my Lightning Mage Iylana!"

Lighting Mage Iylana appears on the field ATK: 1300

Then she gained 500 more attack points thanks to Michiah, Maiden of Dawn. 1300-1800

I checked her attack points as Lance starts to sweat nervously and smiled "Just because your monsters are immune to most card effects won't protect you from Lighting Mage Lylana Lance! If she attacks a Dragon Type Monster during any player's Battle Phase her Attack Points double!"

"True" Lance told me with a smirk on his face "But due to Dragon's Kingdom your Lightning Mage's double boosted attack falls short of Asension Sky Dragon's Attack Points."

I nodded "For now yes, but I have a card in my deck that can change that."

Lance smirked "I look forward to seeing you try that..." he turned to Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon "For now Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon can't do anything against level 4 or below Effect Monsters, but wait till you see what it can do to your stronger level 5 or higher monsters."

By the sounds of it, I knew I wasn't going to like this, however I had to try "Well see what you can do Lance! I end my turn!"

"It's my move!" Lance told me "I draw!"

He drew his card but I could tell he drawn nothing that could help him out this turn "I end my turn."

"Short turn" Ash commented.

Haku smiled at Ash "Well when you are facing Swords of Revealing Light on the field, there's little you can do except wait your turns. However in the meantime it gives Lance three turns to get three cards in his hand."

"It's my move!" I told Lance "I draw!"

I drew my card then smiled "First I'll collect my five hundred Life Points thanks to Cleric Mist!

My Life Points: 5900

Once this was done I select my next move "Sweet! I summon Archer Naomi in attack mode!"

The pink haired archer girl appeared on the field ATK: 1200.

Thanks to Michiah her attack points rose 1200-1700

I smiled at Lance "Battle!"

"Growing reckless are you Lady Kasumi?" Lance asked me I shook my head "Nope, Archer Naomi came at good time you see Lance, since she's an archer she can attack you directly!"

"WHAT?!" Lance asked.

I nodded "Go Naomi, attack Lance directly with Archer Critical!"

Naomi took aim with her bow and fired at Lance. Lance was forced to use his cape to try to deflect the arrow but it struck him.

He was now kneeling a bit as his Life Points drop "So that's how we're going to play hugh?"

Lance's Life Points: 1600

"Nice!" Naruto shouted "one more direct attack and Lance is through!"

"Turn end" I told Lance.

"It's my move!" Lance announced "I draw!"

He drew his card then checked his hand "I'll set two cards face down and end my turn" Lance told me.

"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"

I drew my card "Once again I'll collect my 500 Life Points!"

My Life Points rose by 500. My Life Points: 6400

I nodded "Next I'll set my Knight Meg to the field in defense mode!"

Knight Meg appeared on the field in defense mode. DEF: 1600

I checked that I needed one more level four warrior monster and perhaps my XYZ Monster could help change the tide "Battle! Archer Naomi, attack Lance directly again with Archer Critical!"

Lance was ready this time "I activate my Trap Card: Defense Draw! To make this battle damage zero for this turn, and I get to draw a card."

I frowned seeing this even more when he drew one card "Turn end."

"It's my move!" Lance announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "I activate the Trap Card: Dust Tornado!"

His second face-down activated and he explained "Now I can destroy any Spell or Trap Card on your side of the field and I choose to destroy your Swords of Revealing Light!"

I watched as the swords shattered he then points out at me "Without your swords, I can now deliver payback. But first..." I saw him holding up a Spell Card "I'll activate Continuous Spell Card: Dragon's Might!"

The Spell card was played as Lance explained the effect "Now whatever battle damage I do due to an attack, I gain the difference as Life Point recovery"

I gulped seeing my Swords of Revealing Light gone and Lance continues "Now It's time for battle, First of the Dragon's attack Michiah Maiden of Dawn with Dragon's Rage!"

Roaring The First of the Dragons unleashed it's attack, I didn't want to risk Dodge Attack getting a miss for me so I didn't activate it. The First of the Dragon's attack hit Michiah destroying her and delivering two hundred points of damage to me.

My Life Points: 6200

"Michah" I muttered.

"Without her all of your monsters lose their 500 attack boost!"

I frowned nodding as Naomi's attack point returned to normal 1700-1200

"Not only that" Lance warned me "But since you lost some battle damage my Life Points will get a raise by the difference you just took."

I bit my lip as his Life Points rose. Lance's Life Points: 1800

"Due to your Shade trap card activating" Lance told me "I can't target that Archer but your Lighting Mage is ripe for the picking."

I smirked "Too bad she's stronger than any of your monsters."

"Don't be too sure" Lance told me "And while your monster does double her attack, I'll destroy her right now! Ascension Sky Dragon attack her Lightning Mage Ilyana! Blazing Light!"

This time I decided to risk it "I activate Dodge Attack!"

Lance smirked "You really think that can save you? It saved you three or four rounds ago but it won't now!"

I flipped the coins and one was a heads and one was a tails.

"I told you it wouldn't work!" Lance told me "Now because of it being a heads and tails...My Monster's attack is treated as a Direct Attack on you!"

I nodded then smirked "That was just what I wanted!"

Lance gasped then realized what I meant "Oh-no!"

I nodded "I activate my Trap Card: Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!"

Scrap-Iron Scarecrow appeared blocking Lance's direct attack I smiled seeing him amazed I turned his Direct Attack into an attack that was negated. Now I was forcing him to attack with Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon. In which he decided to do "Then since your Lighting Mage Iylana doubles her attack I'll attack a different subject, Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon attack Knight Meg, Clear-wing Burst!"

Lance's attack comes at Knight Meg but I held up my hand "Sure my Knight is in defense mode, but once per turn while she remains in defense mode, she can't be destroyed by battle!"

Lance smirked "True but your Life Points won't be spared!"

Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon's attack strikes Knight Meg but she is spared her destruction but my Life Points take the hit.

My Life Points: 5300

I then watched Lance's Life Points get a boost as well Lance's Life Points: 2600

"I'll set one card face-down and end my Turn" Lance told me.

"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"

I drew my card then pointed to Cleric Mist whom increased my Life Points by five hundred. My Life Points: 5700

I looked at my hand having drawn Wyvern Rider Jill, and she was a warrior type Monster, and I decided to go for it "Alright time to change my fate! I summon Wyvern Rider Jill to the field!"

Wyvern Rider Jill appeared on her dragon ATK: 2000

I nodded "If there is a Light attribute Monster on my opponent's side of the field her attack points are halfed."

Wyvern Rider Jill's attack points were halved 2000-1000.

"Another girl I can target" Lance told me "She can't help you."

I smiled "Maybe not, Lance, but please note I have three level 4 Warrior Type Monsters on my side of the field!"

Lance got what I was getting at "Uh-oh!"

I saw him sweating a bit as he knew he might've been in trouble and I heard his thoughts Curses! Even with two turns of Swords of Revealing Light out, she drew what she had to draw in order to XYZ Summon! Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon's effect only works on Monsters that are levels! Not XYZ Monsters!

I looked at my three Level 4 Warrior Monsters "I shall build the Overlay Network! Overlaying Archer Naomi, Knight Meg and Wvyern Rider Jill!"

The three warrior Monsters shot up towards the dark void turning into Overlay Units and I chanted out "Loyal Paladin of the gods, appear from the void to strike down our enemies in a lightning fast show! XYZ Summon...Rank 4...Zeus's Heroic Knight!"

When the XYZ formation stopped my XYZ Monster appeared ATK: 3000

"Impressive XYZ Summon" Lance warned me "But even it isn't enough compared to Ascension Sky Dragon."

I smiled "Oh? Well, I'll just have to change that won't I?"

"Hugh?" Lance asked.

I looked at his Field Spell, I knew I had to disable it for one turn and I had a solution "I'll activate the Spell Card: Zeus's Might!"

On this card it showed the mighty Zeus staring at an evil threat calmly and ready for battle, I explained the effect "Now I can only activate this Card if Boltose the Lightning Titan, Olympian Dragon, or Zeus's Heroic Knight is on the field, I can negate a Spell or Trap Card's effect and I choose your Dragon's Kingdom Field Spell Card and it doubles battle damage of Zeus's Heroic Knight!"

Lance watches as Dragon's Kingdom had it's effects negated.

I smiled "With that, It's time I showed you that your Ascension Sky Dragon is going down!"

"With a Monster with three thousand attack points" Lance warned me "You'd be only destroying yourself."

I smiled "Then let me introduce you to Zeus's Heroic Knight's special ability! By Giving up one of his Overlay Units, I can half the attack points of one monster on the field and inflict that same amount as Life Point damage!"

Lance then gasped "Halved? Then that means!"

I nodded "That's right, Thanks to Zeus's Might your Field Spell Card can't prevent your Monsters from attacking me! So now go Zeus's Heroic Knight unleash your Lightning Storm Effect!"

One of Zeus's Heroic Knight's Overlay Units vanish to the Graveyard then Zeus's Heroic Knight gathered in an electrical storm forming in it's lance then unleashed it at Ascension Sky Dragon. The Dragon roared as it's attack points are halved. 4800-2400

Lance then saw the storm coming at him striking him and he took the same amount of damage as his Monster had for hit's Attack Points. Lance's Life Points: 200

"Sweet!" Naruto shouted "She's won finally! Come on sis one more attack!"

I nodded determined "Alright then, Battle, Zeus's Heroic Knight attack Ascension Sky Dragon with Charging Lightning Joust!"

Lightning swirled around my XYZ Monster, it came charging towards Ascension Sky Dragon it's lance and shield cracking with lightning. At the last second it lunges it's lance piercing and going right through Lance's Monster but Lance decided to activate his Trap Card: I activate my Trap Card: Waboku! This Trap Card makes any Battle Damage Zero for this turn and as a result it can't be destroyed by battle!"

"Darn it!" Naruto shouted angrily "I thought she had him!"

"Almost did" Hanabi admitted.

Lance brushes himself off "Not bad...You nearly got me but you didn't."

I looked at Lance "With that I end my turn! Now let's see how you deal with my new XYZ Monster now that it's turned the tide now!"

Lance smirked "Oh I intend to, it's my move, I draw!"

He drew his card then grinned "It's time to end this, I activate the Spell Card: Dragon Fusion!"

"RATS!" Naruto shouted "I know what that is for!"

Lance nodded "Correct, now I'll remove from play Ascension Sky Dragon on the field with, Coral Dragon, Manga Drago, Bright Star Dragon, and Golem Dragon from my Graveyard from play! Doing so allows me to Fuse a Dragon Type Monster."

"Here it comes" Naruto pailed.

Lance nodded as five Dragons were removed and he chants out "Supreme Dragon, rise from the ashes and fuse with your brethren to rule over the lands...FUSION SUMMON! Level 12 Five Headed Dragon!

Soon Lance's most powerful Monster appeared on the field roaring ATK: 5000

"Next" Lance told me "Dragon Fusion, doubles my monster's attack points!"

I hid a silent gulp as I noticed this 5000-10000.

At the plus side Lance's Life Points were low that he couldn't risk attacking my XYZ Monster with anything, if he did he'd lose the duel...However Five Headed Dragon at ten thousand attack points was going to do some damage.

Lance snapped his fingers as he had one spell card left and he decided to go for it "I activate the Spell Card: Stamping Destruction!"

I knew what it did "Now not only will this card inflict 500 points of damage to you but it'll destroy your Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!"

A Dragon's foot came down destroying my Scrap-Iron Scarecrow while squishing me. My Life Points: 5200

"Not good" Naruto said.

Lance then smiled at me "Nice knowing you Lady Kasumi, but it's time you knew defeat! Five Headed Dragon attack Zeus's Heroic Knight and end this Duel with Centripetal Blast!!"

The blast was coming towards my monster. Sokka watches this "She might lose this one!"

I checked my hand having a Monster "I activate a Monster's effect from my hand, by discarding Zeus Guardna from my hand to the Graveyard, I can prevent my monster from being destroyed by battle!"

Lance smirked "Too bad it won't save your Life Points from destruction."

I smirked back "If an attack will knock my Life Points to zero, by removing Zeus Guardna from play, I can make sure to survive the attack to keep my Life points at zero!"

Zeus's Heroic Knight was struck by the attack and due to the effects of Zeus Guardna it was spared and my Life Points were at their last one hundred points. The recoil wiped me off my feet and I was on my back panting but still in the game.

My Life Points: 100

Lance watches me "I see your still in the game Lady Signer...You won't be next round. Besides remember Dragon's Might? Well my Life Points will increase by the amount of battle damage you just took."

"Rats" I muttered knowing I took a lot of damage and Lance's Life Points gain that boost.

Lance's Life Points: 7200

Despite being down like this I still was going to continue on. After all I wasn't through just yet "It's my move!" I told him "I draw!"

I drew my card checking the field. Then pointed to Cleric Mist whom increased my Life Points by five hundred. My life Points: 600

Things really looked bad for me but I now had the most strangest feeling like I knew what Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon did, I was able to bypass it's effect thanks to Zeus's Heroic Knight being an XYZ Monster so, so that meant any other Monster I summoned from Fusion, or Synchro if it was a Level 5 or higher it's effect might be the difference maker. Luckily for me I had Zeus's Heroic Knight on the field and I looked at Dodge-Attack, a card that might've saved me, if I was to win this Duel it would certainly be by a clever strategy and I had drawn a good Spell Card: I activate the Spell Card: Fallen Comrades! It allows me to draw one card for each Monster in my Graveyard!"

Ghostly images of my monsters appeared from Swordmaster Mia, Heron Leanne, Michiah Maiden of Dawn, and Archer Naomi whom was the Overlay Unit I used. I then drew four cards.

I smiled checking my four drawn cards "I then activate the Field Spell Card: Mount Olympus!"

Lance frowned knowing that we were in the age where only one Field Spell Card could be out at a time. So his Dragon's Kingdom was gone but in it's place was Mount Olmypus and I explained the effect "Now, all Battle Damage I'd take is zero as long as I have one Monster on the field!"

"She just bailed herself out" Ash muttered.

"Talk about luck" Dawn admitted.

"I wonder how she plans to deal with Lance's threat" Hanabi told Haku "Five Headed Dragon can only be attacked and destroyed by Light Attribute Monsters..."

"It won't be easy" Haku told her "But the Lady Signer isn't backing down."

Kakashi-Papa looked at the vortex "Everyone heads up! Ninja coming this way!"

Haku sighed seeing this "Yep, here they come!"

As Lance and I were Dueling what appeared to be hundreds of Sound Ninja jumped out of the vortex. One announce "Free Azula! Then bail! Lord Orochimaru's orders before he traps the Signer here forever!"

Kakashi-Papa drew his Kunai Knife "Trainers! Take cover. Aang, Haku, Hanabi, Naruto, Sokka and Toph do not let them get to the Princess! At least not until the Duel concludes!"

"Yes sir!" was the response.

Naruto charges a Sound Ninja and made hand seals "Well then it's about time we get some action in...Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

With this Naruto made hundreds of his own clones and they hurled themselves at the enemy, majority of them punched, or kicked the enemy. Some succeeded but others missed badly and were easily cut down by the Kunai of the Sound Ninja but they were about to find out that Naruto's clones would almost seem endless.

As my Duel was going on I saw Hanabi jabbing the enemy in their chests! They fall like a rock. Toph Earth Bended well placed boulders to Sound Ninja heads. I could hear the crack as the boulders met the Sound Ninja's heads often killing them on impact as it not only cracked the rocks but it certainly broke their skulls. Aang choose a non fatal way to deal with Sound Ninja, often Air Bending them...Into well placed traps Team Signer made for this unseen event. Others he Water Bended freezing them solid. Kakashi-Papa was like a legendary blur still to my eyes. I saw him one moment then the next he'd vanish. No matter where he went though, sound ninja bodies fell lifeless. When I got a good glimpse of him I saw him holding a Kunai Knife meaning he was using the knife to certainly kill the enemy. Haku threw needles expertly striking enemy throats with ease then he also Water Bended but unlike Aang, Haku certainly meant to kill the enemy.

"Hang in there guys" I muttered seeing the chaos, I looked at Lance "We gotta end this Duel quickly!"

"I agree" Lance said "And it looks like I maybe the one to do that."

I decided to show him that he was wrong "It's still my move Lance, and now it's onto battle Zeus's Heroic Knight attack Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon! Charging Lightning Joust!"

Lance watches the attack come at his Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon "Not using your effect that time?"

I gave him a smirk "Oh, very well if you insist! Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon must have an effect that targets level monsters."

Lance nodded "Sadly, that's true, I see you played very smart against Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon. You see if you would've Synchro Summoned or Special Summoned a level 5 or higher Monster then I could've activated Clear-Wing's ability which would allow it to negate that summon and destroy it! And if you would've activated a level 5 or higher Monster's effect, I could activate it's ability again to negate and destroy that effect and if I did so it would gain the destroyed monster's attack points."

I gave him what I could describe as a combination of my Uncle Crow's smirk and my father Yusei's smirk "Well I may not have seen that Monster before, but I knew there was a reason why you brought it out...So...Your heavy counter is about to be destroyed by battle!"

I watched as Zeus's Heroic Knight attacked Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon and destroyed it.

Lance's Life Points: 6700

Lance figured my move out "Don't forget Kasumi, monsters that are Fusion Summoned by Dragon Fusion are immune to card effects as long as it's face-up."

I frowned knowing that it was a problem as Zeus's Heroic Knight's effect would be useless, however I still had a plan as there was always a way to beat a ten thousand attack point Monster, I just had to hope Dodge Attack would prevail as I realized I needed Zeus's Heroic Knight still "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn!"

"It's my move!" Lance announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "I summon Exploder Dragon!"

Exploder Dragon appeared on the field ATK: 1000 and Lance pointed at me "Battle! Exploder Dragon, attack Zeus's Heroic Knight!"

"That doesn't make sense!" Sokka shouted while dealing with a Sound Ninja with a clever throw of his boomerang "That monster is weaker and you don't have your Field Spell!"

"True" Lance said as I knew "I activate my Trap Card: Dodge Attack!"

Dodge Attack activated and I flipped the two coins hoping for ether a complete two heads or a direct attack on me since I wouldn't be taking any Battle Damage due to Mount Olmypus's effect. However I got the short end of the stick and got two tails! Which meant his attack succeeded in hitting Zeus's Heroic Knight. I saw him smirk "I'm glad you reacted like that Lady Kasumi, it means you aren't as clueless as your brother Naruto is or as Sokka was."

"Of course" I told him "How could I forget? Exploder Dragon's effect is any battle damage when he attacks is zero to you, but if he battles the Monster he battles gets destroyed!"

Lance nodded "Yep! So Zeus's Heroic Knight, say goodbye!"

Zeus's Heroic Knight took a bomb as it was destroyed along with Lance's Monster.

"Now" Lance told me "First of the Dragons attack Lightning Mage Ilyana! Dragon's Rage!"

Lance's First of the Dragons took aim and attacked Lightning Mage Ilyana but I spoke "I'll activate Dodge Attack again!"

Once more Dodge Attack activated but I got two tails. Lance's attack hit my monster destroying her leaving Mist now vulnerable.

"I may not be able to do battle damage to you this turn" Lance told me "But once your last line of defense is gone you are finished! Go Five-Headed Dragon attack Cleric Mist, Centripetal Blast!"

I didn't give up "I'll activate Dodge Attack again!"

Once more the Trap Card activated and it was a lucky break! I managed to get two heads! This caused Mist to avoid his attack and it was negated. I sighed with relief, that was too close!

"Turn end" Lance told me.

"It's my move!" I told him "I draw!"

I drew my card then pointed to Cleric Mist whose ability activated and my Life Points increased by five hundred.

My Life Points: 1100

I then spoke "I activate my Trap Card: Call of the Haunted! This time I'll bring back Michiah, Maiden of Dawn!"

Michiah reappears on my side of the field returning with her abilities which in the end her attack points were ATK: 2900

"So," Lance told me "You brought back Michiah once Clear-Wing was destroyed...Not bad."

I gave him a smile "I'll activate her Special ability! Once per turn, by halving her attack points, I can Special Summon any Monster from my Graveyard but neither Michiah nor the Special Summoned Monster can attack this turn, and I choose my Swordmaster Mia!"

Michiah's attack points were halved 2900-1450. Then Swordmaster Mia reappeared ATK: 1800

"Big deal" Lance told me.

"Oh it's a very big deal" I told him, I held up my next card "I summon my Hyper Synchron Tuner Monster!"

Hyper Synchron appeared on my side of the field ATK: 1600

I smiled happily "next I'm going to tune my level 4 Hyper Synchron with my level 4 Swordmaster Mia!"

Hyper Synchron Split into four rings as it scanned Swordmaster Mia and I chanted out " Born by blood and loyalty to the Crimson Dragon...The Light Shines for the Truth...For Justice...Synchro Summon...OLYMPIAN DRAGON!"

Out of a flash of white light Olympian Dragon appeared. ATK: 2600

I then smiled at Lance "Hyper Synchron gives any Dragon Type Synchro Monster 800 more attack points! Then add in Michiah's additional 500 attack points and she's my strongest monster meaning you can only target Olympian Dragon!"

Olympian Dragon's attack points rose. 2600-3900

"Battle!" I announced "Olympian Dragon attack First of the Dragons, Olympus Lightning!"

Olympian Dragon roared and attacked Lance then reminded me "First of the Dragon's can't be destroyed by effect monsters, nor is he affected by effects!"

I smiled "I know that! But while he's in attack or defense mode my Monster can still deliver the Battle Damage!"

Lance gasped "That's right!"

Lance braces himself as Olympian Dragon's attack hit First of the Dragons, due to it's ability it was still on the field but Lance took the damage.

Lance's Life Points: 5500

"I'll set one card face down and that'll end my turn" I told him.

"It's my move!" Lance told me "I draw!"

He drew his card but due to Shade's effect he could only target Olympian Dragon and he knew I couldn't take damage. He smiled "I'll set one card-face-down and end my turn."

"My move!" I announced "I draw!"

"I activate, my Trap Card" Lance told me "Burst Breathe!"

Naruto gulped as did Hanabi as Lance spoke to me "Now I'll tribute one Monster on my side of the field and then if all of your Monster's defense points are lower than my Monster's attack points then...They are all destroyed and I'll tribute my First of the Dragons!"

First of the Dragons vanished but I was ready and I smirked "I counter that move with Starlight Road Trap Card!"

Lance gasped "Noooo!"

"Oh yes" I told him with a giggle "I can activate this card if a card effect were to destroy multiple cards on my side of the field. Sadly Michiah's defense and Mist's defense are no match to your Trap Card even Olympian Dragon may have trouble with that Trap...However, because of that, Starlight Road can activate negating the effect while also allowing me to Special Summon to my side of the field...My father's ace card! Stardust Dragon from my Extra deck!"

Lance watches as his Trap Card's effect was negated impressed I out thought him and while this happened Stardust Dragon emerged roaring ATK: 2500 it would then gain 500 attack points thanks to Michiah on the field. 2500-3000

I looked at him "I have all I need to end this Duel, but first I'll collect my 500 extra Life Points!"

My Life Points rose again. My Life Points: 1600

Lance looks at me "All you have is Olympian Dragon, Michiah, Maiden of Dawn, Cleric Mist and Stardust Dragon!"

I nodded smiling then I felt my Mark of the Dragon emerging as I spoke "True but I have one card in my hand that can help me end this Duel, well two cards really, you see one I have is the Spell Card: Polymerization!"

Lance gasped remembering the Monster I beat Marik with "Oh, great!"

I nodded "Now with Polymerization, I'll fuse Michiah, Maiden of Dawn, Olympian Dragon, and Stardust Dragon together!"

The three Monsters began to fuse together as I chanted out "Maiden of Dawn, transcend the heavens with your guardian dragons to merge into one...Fusion Summon Level 12: Michiah, the Dragon Goddess!"

Michiah the Dragon Goddess appears on my side of the field ATK: 4000

I then smiled "As you know Lance, Michiah, the Dragon Goddess, gains 500 attack points for each Dragon, Warrior, or Spellcaster Type Monster in any player's graveyards!"

Lance gasped recalling this "Oh shoot!"

I nodded "As I recall all of your Monsters were Dragon Types, and most of my deck matches the description of what is required! So on my side let's see, there's Swordmaster Mia, Michiah, Maiden of Dawn, Knight Meg, Archer Naomi, Wyvern Rider Jill, Zeus's Heroic Knight, Stardust Dragon, and Olympian Dragon in my Graveyard. A total of eight Monsters! Giving my monster just on my side alone 4000 more attack points!"

Lance gasped seeing this 4000-8000 then he looked at his Graveyard "Nuts, I have Masked Dragon, Golem Dragon, Coral Dragon, Bright Star Dragon, Ascension Sky Dragon, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Luster Dragon, First of the Dragons, Clear-Wing Synchro Dragon, and Mango Drago. Ten Dragon Types in my Graveyard!

"That's five thousand more attack points" I said.

Lance watches as my monster gain his Graveyard Monsters 8000-13000

"Worse of all" I told Lance "Michiah, the Dragon Goddess is a Light Attribute Monster, which means she can destroy your Monster!"

Lance looks at me checking his Life Points "I'll only receive 3000 points of damage, I'll still survive this!"

I smiled "Will you? Well then let's see the battle, go Michiah the Dragon Goddess attack Five-Headed Dragon with Light Force Judgment!"

Michiah, the Dragon Goddess began to build up her attack and I could tell Lance relaxed a bit knowing he was going to survive this but I held up my last card "I told you I have the winning pieces this turn, and here it is I offer up my last Card which is HONEST!"

Lance gasped as an angel appeared over my Monster "No way!"

I nodded "Oh yes way Lance! You see with Honest's effect if I discard him to my hand to the Graveyard any of my Light Monsters gains your Monster's attack points!"

Lance gasped seeing Michiah, the Dragon Goddess's attack points increased and he knew now I had won. 13000-23000

He smiled looking at me as the attack comes near his Five-Headed Dragon. He smiled telling me "Well played Lady Kasumi...Well played!"

The attack hit Five Headed Dragon and it destroys it completely and drops Lance's Life Points to zero.

My Life Points: 1600

Lance's Life Points: 0

"She actually won?!" Paul and Max asked shocked to see the defeat.

Ash was also jaw dropping "I see if but I don't believe it."

Hanabi dropped another sound ninja but Naruto beat her too it "As I always say you three...She beat Lance...Believe it!"

After I beat Lance, the skies darkened crimson red as the Crimson Dragon roared out and arrived. Ash, Brock, Dawn, Paul, all four Professors and Team Signer all stood gasping at what they were just seeing.

"It's the Crimson Dragon!" James whined.

I caught sight of a Sound Ninja that was about to sneak onto Azula to save her but I Earth Bended taking him out. The Crimson Dragon roared with all it's majestic might and started to reverse the grip. This time it was sending all of the Sound Ninja back into the vortex first and sadly...The Crimosn Dragon was sucking Azula into it as well before it was reversing the vortex's grip on me and my friends. As I was beginning to go back to my side. I could see Lance getting up along with Team Signer coming forward. I wanted to tell them no but they refused willing to come with me. As this was happening we all looked back at Ash. I smiled at Ash "Good luck at being a Pokemon Master Ash."

"Thanks!" Ash told me "And good luck in saving Aang's home place! If we ever meet again let's have another battle! It'll be a rematch."

I giggled willing to give him a rematch "Sure! If we ever meet again."

With that my friends, with our four new friends in Lance, and Team Signer disappear into the vortex.

This chapter is over! Kasumi barely pulled off a win but she did it. Next chapter is, Chapter 52: Returning to Normal: Kasumi and her friend arrive back in her time frame with Team Signer and Lance joining them in their journey to defeat the Fire Nation. But first it is time to relate the story to everyone in Team Avatar's team as well as Kasumi's squad.
