Chapter 55: Team Signer Duel! Jessie vs. James! P1

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

We had arrived to the native's village and Kakashi-Papa informed them that the attack lead by Princess Azula was thwarted at least for now. As thanks for saving them the natives let us spend the entire day at their village to recover. Kakashi-Papa allows this to happen as we did need rest after a rough ambush attack. I was keeping a wary eye for Prince Zuko knowing he and his uncle were in this village somewhere, and if Zuko was still after Aang to restore his honor then, we would be falling into his hands. As we were recovering I along with Lance were watching Jessie and James from afar. Lance looked at me "They really look up to you Lady Kasumi, if they could serve someone like Giovanni loyally, they'll serve you with that same respect. What is your plan to teach them?"

"Once they decided what decks they want and get, James and Jessie will Duel each other for their first time Duel" I answered.

Naruto overheard "Oh man...One of them can't Duel me or Hanabi?"

I turned to him "The expression in life that life isn't fair is true in both a ninja's way or life and a duelist's ways of life, in fact in reality, Jessie or James could go up against a Duelist that has way more experience in that field than they do. However in this pace we are going at it's best they have their first time Duel against each other, that way they have the same experience as the other and learn. Besides you and Hanabi aren't out of my lesson plans for them."

"You have an idea for us?" Hanabi asked me.

"I sure do" I said "Why don't you and Naruto watch this upcoming Duel between Jessie and James tonight as a bit of homework-"

"Ah...Not homework sis!"

"Naruto! This homework she's giving us is lightweight! She wants us to study their decks."

"Lightweight or not...I hate homework of any kind Hanabi."

Hanabi dug her hands into her hips in annoyance "OH NARUTO! HOW YOUR SISTER ALLOWED YOU TO BECOME A RA YELLOW INSTEAD OF A SLIFER RED IS BEYOUND ME!"

"Chancellor Jaden was given the opportunity to become a Ra Yellow for beating Chazz Princeton in a Duel but he turned it down! AND HE NEVER STUDIED OR DID ANY SORT OF HOMEWORK!"

"Difference between you and him though was he was good at Dueling...Your skills are on par of my Uncle Leo or even Joey Wheeler's." I muttered.

Naruto didn't hear my low mutter but Hanabi did and giggled slightly. I looked at the two "Seriously though I do want you two to watch Jessie and James Duel because once one of them is the winner, you two will be their Tag Dueling opponents!"

"SWEET!" Naruto said putting his arm around Hanabi "Hanabi and I got this! We've never been beaten once in a Duel and Hanabi is the number one Duelist of the Duel Academy back in Konoha! We can't lose!"

Hanabi looked at him "You never learned from your defeats from Dueling me Naruto...True you and I haven't been defeated when we are a Team but anything can happen during a Duel which is why your sister wants us to be present to when Jessie and James has their duel against each other. In way it's a way for us to prepare for the Tag Duel. We aren't going into it blind."

"Fine" Naruto said smirking "I guess Hanabi and I can scout out our future opponent's decks!"

"So when are they going to Duel?" Hanabi asked me

"As long as everything goes peacefully and no more threats from the Fire Nation or Orochimaru...Tonight!" I answered.

Lance nodded thoughtfully putting a hand underneath his chin "One day you'll certianly make a great Duel Monsters teacher Lady Kasumi. You are right, sometimes the best way to start one off is to make each of the new Duelists duel each other that way they both have the same experience. If one has to start off they should be considering themselves lucky they are facing off against an opponent that has equal knowledge of the game of Duel Monsters than say some that have experience. Now it's true a new duelist can beat a Duelist that has way more experience in his or her dueling history, case in point Dr. Crowler whom lost to Jaden Yuki of this world. By all means everyone watching that Duel thought Jaden would've lost but he turned it around and won. So experience might not matter but it does help. Still having opponents with equal knowledge of the game of Duel Monsters is a great way to start off."

I smiled at him "You bet."

Toph turned to me "I can be with you, Naruto and Hanabi when this Duel is happening now right?"

"Of course you can Toph!" I told her "Aang can too if he wants but I do need Naruto and Hanabi to be extremely present in this."

"Count on it!" Hanabi said.

Naruto was silent but nodded his head.

"Do we have Duel Monster cards on us and Duel Disks though" Hanabi asked me.

Lance brought out two of the Duel Disks "Not sure why I do have two other Duel Disks on me but I do."

"That must be from when Marik the Third was controlling you" Toph told him "Not sure why he'd let you buy two Duel Disks."

"Regardless we do have two unused Duel Disks for them" Lance said to Hanabi.

"But where would we get their cards?" Naruto asked me "We aren't in New Domino City."

"True!" I admitted "But..."

Haku leaps down from a tree limb supporting a briefcase "The brief case of Duel Monster Cards you requested me to get from "So you aren't only her bodyguard but you are he Errand Boy now Haku?"

Haku looks at her "I am her bodyguard but I will indeed do Errands upon her request which she doesn't do often! She asked me to go back to Konoha and at least one thousand duel cards from Duel Academy in Konoha."

"Man, you must've been fast to do that" Sokka told him.

"It's easy when you can send a clone of yourself to do that" Haku admitted.

I let my friends converse as I made my decision to walk down towards Jessie and James. The two spotted me then stood upright "Lady Kasumi!"

"Have you two thought of what type of Monsters you want in your decks?" I asked them.

James nodded "Well, I personally would like a main monster type deck that's plant but the extra deck suited for some situations."

"And I'd like to try a mixed deck of monsters and including the extra deck" Jessie said.

"I've been trying to help them out with their thought process My lady!" Meowth told me "Why do you ask?"

Haku was at my side holding the briefcase and a coin in one hand "Okay I've sent Haku here to get a briefcase full of Duel monster Cards including, Spells and Trap Cards. So it's time to build your decks because at nightfall you two will have your first duel."

"Against whom?" James asked.

"You and Jessie will be facing off against each other" I answered.

The two blinked then looked at each other, then shouting at each other "TRAITOR!"

"Speak for yourself James!" Jessie said quick to add on "You had always followed my back and now you want to Duel me for the right to lead Team Signer!"

"HEY!" James shot back "When we were Team Rocket we never got Pikachu with you leading us! I could've lead the team better!"

"Oh yeah?" Jessie demanded "SAYS THE MAN WHO LOSSES CONRTOL OF HIS GRASS TYPES! WHO WANTS TO FOLLOW A LEADER LIKE THAT?!"

"SAYS THE LADY THAT TRADED LICKITUNG FOR HER THAT IDIOTIC WOBOFETT!"

"THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A GOOD TRADE IN THE END JAMES! THAT WOBOFETT HAS HELPED US OUT ON SO MANY OCCASSIONS!"

"Was this your intention to do this to them" Meowth asked me worried.

I was sweat dropping as I answered him "No...I was doing this to have them have the equal experience trying to be fair. It had nothing to do with whose the leader of Team Signer."

Meowth now understood my motives as he looked at them and knew I needed those two silent to explain myself "ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH YOU TWO!"

"Quiet Meowth!" Jessie warned him "Don't you start siding with this traitor!"

"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT STARTED IT JESSIE! YOUR THE TRAITOR!" James shouted at her.

Meowth sighed once then drew his claws, then scratched both of their faces "I SAID ENOUGH YOU TWO!"

This certainly caused the two to stop arguing and sit on the ground with the big scratch marks on their face "MEOWTH! What was that for?!"

Meowth answered "You two were arguing over the other and ignoring our boss lady! It wasn't her intention at all to start what you two were doing! I had to do that so you could listen to her!" he turned to me bowing "Sorry Lady Kasumi! The floor is all yours now."

"Thank you Meowth" I said to him then I addressed the two "Meowth is right, it wasn't my intention for you two to label yourselves as traitors to each other. Instead I was trying to make things right by putting you two up against each other due to you two having the same experience as the other. In real life that usually doesn't happen but I'm trying to be a good teacher to you two making it a bit fair."

"Oh!" the two said realizing their mistake, it was Jessie that stretched her hand out to James "My bad then James, forgive me?"

"Only if you take back what you said about my Grass Types!" James said then he too sighed "But yeah forgiven."

The two shook hands and I sighed with relief glad this sort of thing was over for now as I held the coin "So...I want you two to build your own decks one at a time. Here's how it's going to work. I'll flip this coin and you two will call ether heads or tails. The one that calls it right will make his or her deck first while the other one will wait and not watch. Then when that one person has made his or her deck he or she will pass the remaining cards to the other and she or he will make their deck without the other watching that way it'll be a complete mystery to you two on what monsters your deck has."

"Okay then!" James said.

I turned to Meowth "Meowth, I'm putting you in charge to make sure neither one of these two watches the other making their deck."

The cat Pokemon saluted me "Consider that done!"

I turned to Haku as I finally ended my long explanation to the two "Once you two had made your decks, I will give Haku this briefcase back and have him take it back to Duel Academy in Konoha to pay them for the cards you two took as well as return the cards not used in your decks back to it as well."

"Got it!"

I giggled holding up the coin showing the two it had a heads and tails on it "So call it you two heads or tails!"

"HEADS!" Jessie said.

"TAILS!" James said.

I flipped the coin and it lands on tails! I turned to James "It's tails! So you can build your deck first!"

"Alright!" James said "I get to go first!"

He walked over to the briefcase, opened it up and sat down to make his deck as I explained to them "A good Duel Deck in Duel Monsters consists of a minimum of 40 cards. Half of that number should be monsters with the other half being support Spell or Trap cards. You can go over 40 though but keep in mind the higher you go it is a lot harder to get a decent hand. Although the maximum number of cards one can have in their Main Deck is sixty."

"Gotcha!" James said.

Meowth had Jessie turn around "Turn around Jessie and think more about the monsters you want in your deck."

Jessie obeyed not wanting to be scratched again.

"OH!" James shouted at once seeing the Plant Type Monsters "How terrifying these plant types look like! Hey...There's one that looks like Cacnea! That's certainly going in!"

I watched him as he started to build his deck watching him take only Plant Type Monsters all but one of them which when I saw that the Monster was Battle Fader, I immediately knew why as I thought to myself Smart James! You never can tell if your opponent maybe able to overcome your own Monsters with just one Spell or Trap Card making you vulnerable or just leaving you vulnerable due to facing too much Monsters. That card can save you for one turn.

He would also take support Spell Cards for his Plant Type Deck including my mother's favorite field Spell Card Black Garden, as well as certain support plant type Trap Cards and when I saw them I knew James right away knew what he was doing. He was sticking to his Plant Types and giving them support based Spell and Trap Cards. Oh he would do my mother proud if he was successful in dueling.

I also watched him make his Extra Deck again he tried to center it around Plant Types, but five were Dragon Types and one was a Rock Type. He turned to me "Finished!"

"Good" I told him "Now pass the case over to Jessie so she can build her own deck, then browse your new deck and see if you can find your deck's strengths and weaknesses. Weaknesses could be tricky but every deck does have a weakness in theory."

"Yes ma'am!" James said giving the briefcase to Jessie.

Jessie turned seeing James stand up to browse his deck then turned to me. I nodded "Your turn!"

Jessie grinned then waits for James to be safely away from hearing her "Thanks! Now let's see what type of Reptiles you have!"

She took the briefcase and looked at the cards "You've gotta be kidding me, not a lot of reptiles to choose from...So perhaps I can try a mixed deck."

She began building her deck and I did see that she was certainly making a mixed deck out of all her Monsters I saw her picking half of them were some sort of reptile but the other half of her monsters were psychic but the real smart move on her part was she accepted Kuriboh as another monster she had in her deck. Another smart choice it could save her from one attack. However I already knew a weakness in her deck, with two types of Monsters in her deck, it would be difficult for her to support her deck entirely, now it wasn't necessarily a bad thing but it certainly limited her deck support while James's wasn't limited at all. Still she was aiming for stronger attack based Extra Deck Monsters and one in particular stood out to me Hyper Sonic Blaster and there was a certain trap card that caught my eye when I read it as Assault Mode Activate. Once I saw that I knew right then one of Jessie's Monsters must've been Hyper Sonic Blaster Assault Mode. It told me she was thinking things through on an attack stand point, maybe some support base cards for both of her types of Monsters but when you had high attack point Monsters it would make it difficult for the opponent to lay a hand on her Monsters by attack points. Once she was done she turned to me "Finished!"

"Good" I told her.

James returned as I turned to them "Let me see your decks and see how much cards you have."

"Rodger!" the two said.

I counted James's deck and he had forty-nine cards in it, not bad but Jessie's deck had forty-seven. Good that was good for now and I returned the decks to the two "Good work you two!"

I quickly put the remaining cards the two hadn't used back into the briefcase turning to Haku giving him it "Now you can take it back to Duel Academy in Konoha! Pay for the one hundred and eleven cards Jessie and James took, then come back here!"

"Certainly!" Haku said taking off at once.

I turned to Jessie and James "You two got till you two have your first ever Duel with each other, I suggest trying to prepare for it ahead of time."

"Got it!"

So I left the two for a while.

After what appeared to me as an entire day it was finally sundown. Everyone of my friends and allies were sitting around the dueling field that the tribe we were staying with made for the event. Aang turned to me as he saw James and Jessie beginning to walk to the area "So...It's come down to Jessie and James's first ever Duel?"

I nodded "Yep."

"Any idea on what to expect?" he asked me.

I grinned "We are going to be in one heck of a Duel! I think it would be on par of Hanabi vs Toph back in Lance's world."

Lance sighed "I wasn't there to witness it but Ash said it was incredible, all Duelist gave it there all and struck each other equally. I wish I was there to see it but I'm interested in seeing these two have their Duel against each other."

"It's going to be James's Plant Type Deck vs Jessie's Psychotiles" I said.

"Psychotiles?" Naruto asked dumbly "Never heard of that archetype."

Hanabi sighed angrily "Naruto...Even I know that's a combined term for Psychic/Reptiles."

Naruto blinked a bit slow at first then he shouted "WHY DIDN'T SIS SAY IT THAT WAY?! I suck at combining terms and you know it!"

Sokka was also confused "You aren't the only one that was confused on that meaning."

Toph muttered "Because you and Naruto are a lot alike on terms of brains. You two have none."

Both Naruto and Sokka shot her a look as if she insulted them which she did and it got a giggle out of me "Good one Toph."

Kakashi-Papa looked at me "Well then let's see which deck is better then, James's Plants or Jessie's Psychotiles. Should be interesting."

I nodded "Should be yes!"

I stood up and walked to the center of the stage "Alright everyone! The moment of triumph has came, tonight we are witnessing two new Duelist to the game of Duel Monsters! Each duelist is a new student of mine! So on one corner we got Jessie!"

Jessie ran out in the spotlight waving to the crowd whom was shouting her name and she actually posed as if she were in a Pokemon contest "That's right everyone! Allow me Jessie to show you a great contest!"

The crowd shouted her name in support as I turned to the other side of the stage "Dueling her is her life long partner and ally James!"

James ran up ready to Duel with Naruto shouting encouragement to him "DON'T LET JESSIE BEAT YOU IN THE SAME WAY HANABI DID TO ME! In fact show the girls we guys aren't pushovers!"

Hanabi, Toph, and I sent Naruto a look and he looked at us nervously starting to regret his decision "What? You girls have beaten all of us guys!" he looked at Haku, and Lance for support "COME ON YOU TWO HELP A BROTHER OUT!"

Haku and Lance acted as if they didn't hear him at first with Lance speaking to Haku "Did you hear something Haku?"

"I thought I did" Haku said "But it must have been just the wind."

"Me too" Lance said.

"OH COME ON!" Naruto shouted to the two "THE GIRLS ARE GOING TO KILL ME!"

"Better you than me" Sokka muttered.

"NOT YOU TOO SOKKA!"

For reasons Hanabi, Toph and I let Naruto off the hook all three of us smirking at each other as if we were going to pull a big get him back prank for his words or at least make him wonder when we will be giving him payback for his remark.

James turned to Naruto "I'll see what I can do Naruto!" He turned to Jessie "I will give you everything I got Jessie!"

Jessie mocked him "YOU'LL GIVE ME EVERYTHING YOU GOT? HA don't me me laugh but we shall see James! Once me and my deck make quick work out of you, it'll show you and your friend Naruto a good reason why you boys won't ever beat us girls again!"

I jumped down off the stage landing besides Naruto and Hanabi whom were right besides me in the front row. The three of us were going to get front row seats to watching this Duel. Haku was at the back of me giving me my grade book "Your grade book Lady Signer."

Naruto sighed "Do you have to grade every first duel you see sis?"

"I'm their teacher and I did grade your duel with Hanabi right?"

"Yes" Naruto said "And even when I lost you still gave me an A."

"Because you dueled with heart and passion" I told him "Never giving up. Just because one losses a Duel doesn't always mean you fail. What I'm truly looking at is your courage to continue to face off against your opponent."

I watched as both Jessie and James activated their Duel Disks which the two took the time to design to match perfectly well with their Team Signer outfits in fact their Duel Disks had a big red S in the middle, then the two drew their top five cards and their Life Points shown shouting the words "DUEL!"

James's Life Points: 4000

Jessie's Life Points: 4000

"Ladies first James!" Jessie said, then without giving him time to consent to this spoke "It's my move, I draw!"

She drew her card checking her hand "I'll start by setting one Monster face down in defense mode and end my turn!"

She set one Monster face-down in defense mode and she ended her turn. Now I wasn't sure what Monster it could be but I had a guess it had ether a flip effect or an effect that was going to lure James into a trap.

"Is that all you got Jessie?" James demanded "It's my move, I draw!"

"First I summon Bird of Roses tuner Monster!" James said.

Bird of Roses appeared on James's side of the field ATK: 1600

"Battle!" James announced "Bird of Roses attack Jessie's face-down monster!"

Bird of Roses does and attacks Jessie's face down Monster but she grinned "You fell for my trap James! The Monster you are facing off against is Reptillian Naga!"

A small cute blond naga Monster appeared on Jessie's side of the field DEF: 0

James panics "WHAT IS THAT?!"

Jessie answers "Reptillian Naga can't be destroyed by Battle! And any Monster that attacks her has their Attack Points dropped down to zero!"

"OH RATS!" James shouted seeing this 1600-0.

He checked his hand "I'll set one card face down and end my turn"

"It's my move then!" Jessie announced "I draw!"

She drew her card "I now Summon Serene Psychic Witch to the field in attack mode!"

A cute witch Monster appeared on the field ATK: 1400

"Battle!" Jessie announced "Serene Psychic Witch attack James's Bird of Roses!"

Serene Psychic Witch took aim and attacked James's Monster but he was ready for it "I activate the Trap Card, Defense Draw! It'll make any Battle Damage I receive from this attack zero and allows me to draw one card!"

"Close one" Naruto said wiping sweat from his forehead.

"I do hope Jessie's prepared for Reptillian Naga's other effect" Hanabi admitted.

"It has another one?" Naruto asked her "What is it?"

Hanabi answered "I won't answer it until we see if Jessie is unprepared for it."

Jessie's attack hit James's but due to his Trap Card he took no damage and he drew his card.

James then spoke "Bird of Roses special ability activates when it is destroyed I can special summon up to two Plant Type Tuner Monsters from my deck and I choose Copy Plant and Naturia Rosewhip!"

Out of the explosion Copy Plant and Naturia Rosewhip appeared on James's side of the field ATK: 0, DEF: 1700.

Jessie smirked "The more tuners you bring out the more I am closer in defeating you James! So go ahead and special Summon all your Tuners, it won't help you! Turn end!"

Just as she ended her turn though her Reptillian Naga switched into attack mode causing her to gasp "WHAT THE HECK?! I DIDN'T GIVE YOU ORDERS TO SWITCH INTO ATTACK MODE! GET INTO DEFENSE MODE!"

Naruto looked at the situation and spoke in a confused tone "Jessie has a point! I didn't hear her ordering that Monster to go into attack mode...So what happened?"

Hanabi answered loudly so not only was she answering Naruto's question but so Jessie could hear her "Reptillian Naga is certainly a Monster one can't destroy in battle but as soon as it's face-up it changes itself into attack mode. That's what it's other effect is."

"Nuts!" Jessie said "Nice to know that now!"

"However it still should be a feared Monster" I admitted "Because as soon as James attacks it with a Monster over it's attack sure she'll lose Life Points but that Monster will have it's attack points reduced to zero. It was a great starting move on your part Jessie to place it in defense mode so it could stay in defense mode but once face up you won't be able to control it to stay in defense mode."

Naruto scratched his head "Never heard of a card that can't stay in defense mode and not be destroyed in battle."

"Every card has a weakness" Hanabi reminded him "And that's Reptillian Naga's true weakness."

"It's my move!" James announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "Sweet! For this first turn that I have Jessie, I activate a Monster's effect from my hand by returning Copy Plant back to my hand In can special summon Fallen Angel of Roses from my hand!"

Copy Plant retreated back into James's hand then Fallen Angel of Roses appeared on his side of the field ATK: 2400

"Then I'll summon Aromage Carnage!" James said.

Aromage Carnage appears on James's side of the field and he spoke "Next I'll tune my level three Naturia Rosewhip with my level three Aromage Carnage!"

Naturia Rosewhip disappeared into three rings scanning Aromage Carnage as James chants out "Roses and plants come together to unite to become a solider of roses...Flower, Synchro Summon, Splendid Rose!"

Splendid Rose appears on James's side of the field ATK: 2200

"Not bad" I admitted checking the scene "He special Summoned one Monster and Synchro Summoned another one."

"Smart move" Haku admitted to me "That way he keeps one of his Tuners for later on, you can never know when you'll need one, best to have one on hand."

"Battle!" James announced "Fallen Angel of Roses, attack Serene Psychic Witch! Rose Whipping!"

Fallen Angel of Roses aimed her sharp rose like whip and shot it out at Serene Psychic Witch striking her and destroying her on the spot. This dealt damage to Jessie's Life Points but she stood firm "This means nothing James!"

Jessie's Life Points: 3000

"Looks to me like it did something Jessie! You just lost one thousand of your Life Points!"

"Maybe!" Jessie admitted "But I'll activate Serene Psychic Witch's special ability! Once she is destroyed I can look through my deck and remove from play one Psychic Type Monster from it, then if she remains in my Graveyard during my upcoming Standby Phase, I can special Summon that Psychic type Monster!"

She checked her deck then choose a Psychic Type Monster "And I'll remove the Krebons Tuner Monster!"

She removed Krebons then looked at James "I'm waiting for your next attack! Go ahead and attack Reptillian Naga, sure I'll take damage but as soon as you do that Monster's attack points will go down to zero!"

"Which is why I refuse to make that mistake again!" James told her "I'll set one card face down and end my turn!"

"It's my move!" Jessie announced "I draw!"

She drew her card, then checked her hand nodding then pointed to her removed from play Monster "Now on my Standby Phase, Krebons appears on my field!"

Krebons appeared ATK: 1200

She checked her hand "Now I summon my Hushed Psychic Cleric to the field in defense mode!"

Hushed Psychic Cleric appeared on her side of the field DEF: 2100

"Then" Jessie told James "I'll Tune my Level two Krebons with my Level three Hushed Psyhcic Cleric!"

Krebons splits into two rings as it scans Jessie's Hushed Psychic Cleric with Jessie chanting out "Psyonic energies gather here become one that heals through magic. Appear now Magical Android!"

In a bright flash of light Magical Android appears on Jessie's side of the field. ATK: 2400

She checks her hand thinking I have Polymerization but I need one my Psychic Type Monster then James will be toast! She checked her hand "You are in trouble now James, because I'll equip Magical Android with the Equip Spell Card: Psychic Sword!"

James watches as Jessie's Magical Andriod gained a sword in it's hands. Jessie smirked at James "Now this Equip Spell Card is unique James. It can only be equipped to a Psychic Type Monster but if my Life Points are lower than yours my equipped Monster gains the difference in our Life Points as an attack boost!"

"SAY WHAT? THEN THAT MEANS-OH NO!"

Jessie nodded "So you can do math! The difference in our Life Points is one thousand so my Monster's attack Points go up by one thousand!

James watches as Jessie's Monster powers up 2400-3400

"Now" Jessie announced "Battle Magical Android attack Splendid Rose with Magical Blast!"

Now while this did panic James I saw that he wasn't too worried as the attack hit Spledid Rose destroying her on the spot. James flinches a bit as his Life Points took the hit. James's Life Points: 2800

"We're about even!" Jessie told James.

"Maybe!" James admitted "But I activate my Continuous Trap Card: Call of the Haunted to bring back Splendid Rose!"

Splendid Rose reappeared on James's side of the field thanks to his Trap Card ATK: 2200

Jessie smirked at him "Waste of a Good trap card, my Monster is far more powerful!"

"Say what you will but I have a plan to terminate your Magical Android!" James said "Plus now that my Life Points are lower your Monster can't benefit from it's boost!"

"True" Jessie admitted "But I'll set a card face down, then end my turn and as I am doing so Magical Android will increase my Life Points by six hundred points for each Psychic Type Monster on the field! Witness it's Magical Healing!"

Magical Android raised it's staff then began increasing Jessie's Life Points. Jessie's Life Points: 3600 but it's attack points went back to normal 3400-2400

I studied the scene thinking to myself Good showing for both Jessie and James, this Duel is becoming exciting.

James drew his card "Alright Jessie, here I go I summon the Copy Plant Tuner Monster!"

Copy Plant appears on James's side of the field ATK: 0

"Next" James said "I'll be tuning my level 1 Copy Plant with my Level 6 Spendid Rose!"

I smiled chanting out mom's chant which somehow James was chanting to "Pitch dark flower, set into bloom, Synchro Summon...Black Rose Dragon!"

My mother's ace Monster appeared on James's side of the field with a mighty roar ATK: 2400

"ISN'T THAT OUR MOTHER'S MONSTER?!" Naruto asked me.

I nodded "Yep."

"It's always nice to see her" Haku admitted seeing Black Rose Dragon "Figures James would have her in his deck."

"Go ahead blow up the field!" Jessie said to James "You'll lose your Monsters too!"

James wagged a finger "Oh, Jessie, I know that I could blow up the field and destroy everything on it...But why would I want to do that? Correction I don't and there is a reason why I Synchro Summoned her."

Jessie gasps as James nodded "You mean?"

James nodded "Yep! I'll activate the Spell Card: Polymerization!"

"RATS!" Jessie shouted.

James smirked "Now I'll fuse Fallen Angel of Roses, Cactus Fighter in my hand with Black Rose Dragon!"

Fallen Angel of Roses and Black Rose Dragon began fusing together with James chanting out "Queen of Roses, fuse with the Guardian Dragon of Roses to show your might! Fusion Summon Level 8! Angel Queen of the Black Rose!"

Angel Queen of the Black Rose soon appeared on James's side of the field ATK: 3000

This new Monster looked like Fallen Angel of Roses but her armor looked red like Black Rose Dragon in fact her arms completely looked like Black Rose Dragon she even had the tail of Black Rose Dragon and had Cactus Fighter's sharp cactus like spikes everywhere on her armor.

James looks at Jessie "As you can see Jessie my monster takes Fallen Angel of Roses, Cactus Fighter and any form of Black Rose Dragon into one! And her one true terrifying effect changes on which Black Rose Dragons was used for it!"

"We shall see" Jessie said "I'm not scared of it!"

"You will be!" James told her "Like right now! You see she gains that Black Rose Dragon's special effects including it's destroying all Cards on the field ability which I'll use now! So go Black Rose Gale!"

Angel Queen of the Black Rose unleashes Black Rose Dragon's effect all over the field but Jessie was ready "I activate my Trap Card: Psychic Protection! As long as I have one Psychic Type Monster on the field, I can protect it from being destroyed by Battle or Card Effect until the end of the turn!"

James frowned "Oh, great!"

The winds calmed down and Jessie's eyes widened when she saw Angel Queen of the Black Rose still out "YOU SAID ALL CARDS WERE DESTROYED WHY WASN'T SHE?!"

James answered "I forgot to mention that she's unaffected by card effects that cause destruction including her own. Plus I want to thank you for your trap card Jessie, your Life Points are about to take a hit! Angel Queen of the Black Rose attack Magical Android! Black Rose Gale!"

Angel Queen of the Black Rose took aim and fired at Jessie's Monster but thanks to her Trap Card it was safe from destruction. However her Life Points weren't and they took the hit. She kneels "Not a bad Monser James!"

Jessie's Life Points: 3000

"It's about to get worse from here" James warned her "Because my Fusion Monster has one other ability it has in addition to all of Black Rose Dragon's abilities."

Jessie gets back onto her feet determined to change things "We'll see James!"

I could tell this was going to be exciting so far James was certainly holding his own but only time would tell if he would win or lose.

Sorry guys I hate to make this a two part but word limit was reached plus it probably was best it is a two part duel because most serious duels usually are. Anyway next chapter is Chapter 56: Team Signer Duel! Jessie vs. James P2: Jame's new Fusion Monster how can Jessie overcome it or if she does can she beat him or will James prove victorious over her for once?

Requirements: "Fallen Angel of Roses"+ "Cactus Fighter"+ "Black Rose Dragon or Black Rose Moonlight Dragon."

Effect: This card can only be Fusion Summoned and can't be Special Summoned by any other means. This card can't be destroyed by Card Effects, if it would be destroyed by battle you may remove from play one Plant Type Monster in your hand, field or Graveyard to prevent this card's destruction, if you do, destroy the attacking Monster. If "Black Rose Dragon" was used to Fusion Summon this card, this card gains these effects, if this card was Fusion Summoned you can destroy all cards on the field, once per turn if your opponent has a Monster in defense mode, you may remove from play 1 Plant Type Monster in your Graveyard, select that Monster and force it face-up make it's attack points zero. If "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon" was used to Fusion Summon, this card gains this effect once per any player's turn you can return any of your opponent's Special Summoned Monsters back to their owner's hand.
