Sequel to Kasumi: The Last Signer. Fearing that the Avatar maybe found by the Fire Nation, Lady Tsunade of the Leaf Village sends Kasumi Aki Fudo, Team Ten, and Naruto on a mission to find and protect the Avatar. Can Kasumi a Signer help Avatar Aang?

Chapter 58: Dueling Vengeance P2

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.

Meowth's POV

Morning was coming and during the night somewhere between mid-night Team Signer and I had agreed to sleep till the morning. We had shown no signs of this Sasuke in our immediate area. However, Hanabi had never returned ether which was strange. Haku reported to us she had left to see if a figure was Sasuke or not and asked us when we shown up to help scout to where she was. When we arrived we found her. Or rather James saw her "Hanabi Hyugga! Thank Goodness you weren't captured by the enemy!"

It seemed at first she didn't respond to his comment as if she were sleeping. It puzzled me a bit as I now asked her "Uh, are you sleeping too Hanabi?"

Once more Hanabi didn't respond to my question. Annoyed Jessie took out a water balloon "ENOUGH OF THIS WAKE UP!"

"NOOOOOO!" James and I shouted at her trying to stop Jessie from throwing the item fully knowing that if Hanabi was sleeping that she would soon be jabbing us with her Gentle Fist, not a good way to start a morning. We were too late both James and I duck behind the cover of our hot air balloon hoping Hanabi would only see Jessie and react only to her. There was a SPLASH as the balloon hit the target. Both James and I froze, then shortly after Jessie froze too now realizing her mistake "Ops"

Fortunately for Jessie, the cold water balloon had no effect on Hanabi. Now this got me concerned as I knew something wasn't right "Something's not right guys!"

James blinked "You're right!"

Jessie nodded shivering a bit "She would've retaliated by now..."

"Then let's find out what happened!" I said.

We landed the balloon, walked over to Hanabi and inspected her. We gasped as Hanabi seemed to be normal on the outside but when we looked at her eyes it was like no one was home, but it wasn't in death or anything. I felt the fur on my back rise as in all my long life in working for Team Rocket then now for Team Signer, this was the first I've ever encountered this type of thing.

James pokes Hanabi with a stick but she didn't respond but he did notice a bit of brusing on her chest now indicting she might've gotten kicked before what final act happened to her "No doubt about it, she was attacked somehow."

Jessie picked the body up "She's not dead though...Maybe Haku will know...Help me you two to carry her to the balloon and we'll take her back to Haku."

James and I agreed "Right."

So we helped Jessie to take Hanabi onto the hot air balloon, then we took her straight away to Haku. Aang, Katara, and Sokka we also meeting him back when we arrived silently.

"Did you find Hanabi?" Haku asked them.

"Sadly Negative!" Aang reported "Katara and I searched at least four to eight miles on Apa in the left direction.

Katara nodded "We found no trace of Hanabi."

"I was with you Haku" Sokka told me "Going in the other direction. We found no trace of Hanabi."

Haku sighed "Something isn't right here. Hanabi would never abandon us. Something must've gone terribly wrong."

"She could've gotten kidnapped!" Sokka told him.

"Doubt she'd allow Azula's forces to take her alive" Haku told him.

"He's right" Katara agreed with Haku "Hanabi would rather fight the enemy to her death than be captured."

"Then where could've she gone?" Aang asked "We need to find her before Lady Kasumi gets back!"

"Agreed" Haku admitted "Hanabi and the Lady Signer are very close friends, if something happened to Hanabi and the Lady Signer gets back...Lady Kasumi will certainly go looking for her best friend and possibly fall into a trap."

It was then Aang noticed our hot air balloon landing "Hey guys! Team Signer is back!"

The four turn towards us with Haku asking "Did you three find anything?"

"Sure thing Haku!" I reported "We found her!"

As I am speaking James and Jessie began to step out of the balloon. Once out Aang, Haku, Katara, and Sokka saw Hanabi in James and Jessie's hands "Hanabi!"

"Thank goodness you three found her!" Haku told us "Where was she?"

"At least two miles from this camp in the direction you sent us" James answered "Sadly though I think our trouble got worse."

"Why's that?" Katara asked.

James and Jessie step towards Haku and gave him Hanabi in his arms. Haku gasped seeing Hanabi's state with Aang looking at her. Katara and Sokka were puzzled with Sokka asking "Uh...I hate to ask the obvious question but...IS SHE DEAD?!"

Haku looked at Hanabi's body "No...She isn't dead."

"Then is she unconscious?" Katara asked.

"In a way yes" Haku said "But in another way no...But it's much worse than being dead or unconscious."

Aang remembered about the Egyptian Shadow games and was beginning to put two-and-two together "Haku, you don't think that Hanabi's soul was stolen do you?"

Haku took a swift look at Hanabi's Duel Disk which was still activated oddly but her Life Points were at zero "I have a strong suspicion it was."

"Soul Stealing?!" Jessie and Sokka asked "WHAT IS THAT?!"

Aang explained for Haku "During the time of the Egyptians whom were the first to develop Duel Monsters, some of them played with a game of great and terrible power known as the Shadow Games. A brave pharaoh locked that magic away in the Millennium Items so that these Shadow Games couldn't be a threat to the world. Shadow Games are games where Battle damage was said to have been real and losing a Shadow Game could result in your death or in most cases, a person's soul removed."

"Oh" Jessie muttered "Creepy history of Duel Monsters..."

"Yeah" James admitted "Creepy and spooky at the same time, but question remains, if the Shadow Games were locked away forever, then how are they back?"

I shook my head yes in agreement with Haku putting a hand underneath his chin "Good question James...We know Psychic Duelist like Lady Kasumi can inflict real battle damage in Duels and even kill as well, but I can clearly tell Hanabi wasn't Dueled by a Psychic Duelist, which makes my suspicion even more confirmed. My only answer is this, whoever Dueled Hanabi must've had some contact with a Millennium Item and learned to use it's power for his or her own needs."

"So Hanabi will always be like this?" Katara asked.

Lance arrived on the scene answering her "If her soul is removed yes, she will be like this...Until her soul is recovered."

"How does one recover a soul?" I asked.

"By beating the Duelist that captured that individual's soul to begin with" Haku answered.

He turned to Aang "We have a new mission to do before the Lady Signer returns later on today from training."

Aang agreed "We must find Hanabi's Soul Stealer thief and save Hanabi."

Haku turns to Katara "Until we find whoever did this to Hanabi you're going to have to watch over Hanabi's body and give it basic medical care."

Katara nodded "Alright, I can do that Haku."

Sokka turned to Haku "I'm no Duelist so what can I do?"

"Stay at the camp" Haku answered him "Or travel with Team Signer in their hot air balloon to stay safe if you want us to catch this soul stealing thief."

"Gotcha!"

Haku turned to Aang and Toph then towards the whole group to issue out commands "Aang, Toph, stick together with each other as you go to the right. Lance and I got the left, and Team Signer, you with Sokka that is if he wants to come with you three can go the way you just came. We need to find that Soul Stealer thief before the Lady Signer comes back. If we don't and she figures out what happened to Hanabi and I'm assuming Katara will tell her-"

"If she asks about it I will" Katara admitted.

"Then Lady Kasumi will no doubtingly persue whoever did this to Hanabi. This could make her fall into a trap and we can't have that happening. She is a Fudo after all, and Lord Yusei was known to do whatever it took to save his own friends, no matter what. I'm sure Lady Kasumi will do the same as her father would."

With this we all split up again to find this soul stealing thief. Our Lady Kasumi's life hanged in that outcome. I gotta admit it was actually nice being a hero like this.

Kasumi's POV

Naruto and I stood looking at each other on opposite sides. Kakashi-Papa was right behind me ready to give me advise on what to do to improve on my new Jutsu. Naruto had offered to be the test subject to my new jutsu which was why we were facing each other. Both Snowflake and Takara were at ether side of my legs. I gently pat Takara on the head giving her the signal of what I was planning to do. She understood getting ready to breathe flames. Snowflake would take a while to learn but this was why I was training. Naruto looks at me "Well sis, what is your new jutsu?"

"If I'm able to pull this off" I said "It's going to be a Triple Element Fang over Fang."

"Triple Element Fang Over Fang?" Naruto asked me.

I nodded "One completely earth type of version, one Volcanica Fang over Fang, then finally one Tundra Fang over Fang. All at once."

Kakashi-Papa heard this "Clever idea! Instead of a double Volcanic Fang over Fang he could deal with, he'll now have to figure out how to deal with all three elemental versions. Each with an effect. The Earth one would most likely act like a sharp drill and strike rock like shards into the opponent while possibly burring them under rock piles. Volcanic we already pretty much know melts the opponent away, and the Tundra one would freeze and act like an avalanche. Combine all three of those and the opponent could be done for. However even if one hits him or her, whatever hits him or her would be devastating."

I smiled trust Kakashi-Papa to understand what I was trying to do. Naruto shivered slightly "AND I'M THE GENNIPIG ON THIS TRAINING REGIMENT FOR YOU SIS!"

"You offered yourself" I told him with a smile "And you'll help."

"Of course!" Naruto said "But how about I just use Shadow Clone Jutsu so that I don't wind up you know, badly hurt."

I smiled "I'd be glad for any type of help Naruto!"

"Alright then!" Naruto said he pressed his hands together "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Five identical versions of Naruto appeared ready. I turned to my pets "Ready girls?"

"Vulpix!" Takara said nodding.

"Alright then" I said focusing in my Chakra as I turned to Snowflake "Takara, show Snowflake what she must be able to do. Go for it!"

"Vulpix!" Takara said rushing forward.

I pressed my hands together transforming her into me and she began breathing fire while I earth bended rocks around her. She then began spinning making the rocks hotter, exactly like molten lava then just like a drill she whirls around striking the Shadow Clones causing them to burst after screaming. Once this was done Takara returned to my side returning to normal "Good girl Takara, good demonstration!"

"Vulpix!" Takara shouted happily.

The real Naruto was uninjured luckily as he spoke again "I guess it's Snowflake's turn to try. Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Five more clones of Naruto appeared ready for battle. I nodded towards Snowflake "Go ahead and give it a try. Just breathe your ice beam and spin. Let me focus on the rest."

Snowflake nodded understandingly and attempted to "Vulpix!"

She rushes and after I used my transformation jutsu to turn her into me, charges forward breathing her Ice Beam attack I focused it and some rocks around her. She spun around charging the clones but since this was her first time misses her Naruto's clone targets then runs right SMACK into a boulder actually getting the real Naruto whom was hiding behind by the accidental release of ice and rock. Naruto was nearly frozen completely as his teeth crackled "Sis...I think she missed."

I rush over to the now dazed snow white baby Vulpix "Snowflake are you okay?!"

Snowflake's eyes were in swirls indicating she nearly fainted from hitting her head against the boulder as she replied shaky "Vulpix..."

Kakashi-Papa watched then spoke as I picked her up to examine her to make sure she was okay "Well Kasumi dear, she seemed to have gotten some parts of it done."

"True" I said "But she didn't have control of her movement exactly...Plus" I smirked at Naruto whom was still nearly frozen but he was now using his own fire bending abilities to warm himself up "She hit the wrong target."

"I'll say! She nearly froze me solid!"

"Hey, she's a baby still Naruto, I wasn't expecting her to learn it right away, she needs time to learn it!"

"Kasumi's right Naruto, just like us people, I'm sure Pokemon learn over time. How many days did it take you to master Rasengan?"

"To be able to use it properly, it took me at least a week" Naruto admitted.

I smiled "It'll take some time for her to learn. Now I know we don't have that much time for her to learn her part of the Jutsu, but we can't just give up with one try."

Naruto agreed "You're right! There's always a thing of learning when you fail. She'll get better, believe it!"

"That she will" I said.

Snowflake soon came around as I asked her "You okay?"

"Vulpix" She replied.

I smiled petting her "That's good! Want to try that again?"

She nodded determined "Vulpix!"

"Good girl!" I said to her.

So with that she would begin to train alongside me to learn her part of my Jutsu.

Sasuke's POV

I still had Hanabi's soul and had no intention of releasing it. Far as I could say she would stay soulless for all I cared. I also knew however that I would eventually have to release it if I was ever beaten. My next target would be someone Aang was close too, now there was that black Water Bender girl Katara I could go after but she wasn't a Duelist. The blind girl Toph was. This would make her my next target. From the safety of my position back at base camp I could see from the safety of a tree that Haku discovered Hanabi's body and now knew my game. I saw the group split up searching for the one that stole Hanabi's soul which was me. Of course he didn't know that exactly. Everyone seemed to be split into two groups. Tai Lee walked over to me and stared at the soul card of Hanabi "You beat her?"

"She was too easy" I huffed "I knew every move she was going to make. Still she was a threat and possibly would be too much for Azula in a Duel."

Tai Lee agreed "Sadly so."

Princess Azula overheard us "I could so beat her!"

I huffed "Doubt it. You'd probably lose to Lady Kasumi, and Hanabi is a decently good duelist."

"So whose next?" the Princess asked.

I answered "The little blind girl Toph will be my next target."

"But you never seen her Duel" Tai Lee told me.

"True" I admitted "Which may mean that she'd put up a tougher fight than Hanabi did, due to me knowing what moves she was going to do. Against Toph, I won't that much, however I need to go after her next. Not only is she close to Aang but she's also close to Lady Kasumi. Plus if everything goes right Aang will witness me stealing her soul...And possibly will risk capture just to save her.

Azula sighed "I hate it when I still need to recover."

"Whose fault was it to be impaled again?" I asked her "You have yourself to blame for that. Just be glad you escaped with your life...The Lady Signer will not miss your heart or vulnerable organs again if she tries another impaling attempt. Rest assured that. Next time she tries it, she'll aim for the kill."

With this said before another word could be issued, I vanished to undergo my mission.

"He works fast" Tai Lee muttered.

The Princess huffs "I couldn't care how fast her works! At least he's so far been successful! With him, we'll finally lure that Signer into a position where we are totally in control! We must not blow it for him! When she falls for the trap, I want that Signer bound and gagged awaiting my mercy to execute her!"

The Princess smirks "Before slaying her, I'll make her wonder when her execution will come to pass."

I overheard this thinking If the Lady Signer is captured, Orochimaru and I won't let you slay her. She's the one that I'll be using to restore my clan, plus Lord Orochimaru has plans for the Lady Signer to use her.

Then there was silence as I was far enough away from the camp.

Aang's POV

This day was going to be completely crazy! With Hanabi's soul stolen, we had to act. Deep down I knew Haku was right! If Lady Kasumi found Hanabi in that condition, there was no question she'd go after the one that did this to her best friend. Deep down I could feel her pain if she were to have discovered Hanabi's condition, as the Avatar this wouldn't be the first time we witnessed soul stealing. I remembered Buzz the Duelist I had dueled in the Pokemon World whom cheated against Ash and Lady Kasumi and temporarily stole Pikachu's soul. That made me angry and knowing the same happened to Hanabi made me equally angry but at least I was able to control myself. I knew without a doubt Lady Kasumi would act to save Hanabi's soul falling for traps. She and I were destined to stop the Fire Nation and if I allowed her to fall for a trap like this...Then she'd be captured for sure and ether executed or used against whomever Orochimaru or the Fire Nation wanted.

I looked in the direction Haku had sent me, Toph wasn't too far behind keeping up "Any signs of the Soul Stealer Toph?"

"How should I know?" Toph asked me "I haven't seen him or her with my own eyes...However I haven't sensed his or her foot steps on the ground ether."

I looked around "I hope we catch the person that did this to Hanabi."

Toph sighed "As much as I'd like to see Lady Kasumi go full out rage mode on the one that did this to Hanabi, you are on the right pace Twinkle-Toes. We need to catch the soul stealer thief, and beat him to save Hanabi."

I looked around what appeared to be a calm morning, which wasn't one. Luckily we were able to keep in touch with each other as we weren't going to stray too far from camp. That would most likely get Lady Kasumi's eye on our movements and make her wonder what happened.

Suddenly I saw movement from the branches of the trees. I quickly Air Bended. The figure must've saw me do this because he avoided my attack and seemed to vanish. I blinked surprised he had that much speed and then it dawned on me where he was...Right behind me! I turned quickly to see that it was Sasuke! He was about to punch me but, a boulder from Toph struck Sasuke right in the back of his head causing him to stumble then glare at the Earth Bender. Toph couldn't see him but she had sensed him out and just grinned at his direction "Not so easy taking the Avatar out when he has back up isn't it Sasuke?"

Sasuke looks at her "Perhaps, but I can handle you and him together."

Toph huffs over confident in her abilities "Prove it Mr. Stuck Up!"

Sasuke huffs taking her bait "Sure thing!"

He seems to vanish only to come at her from the back. She sensed him coming and earth bended a wall which he smacked into. He falls to the ground as Toph smirked "You can't fool me Sasuke! I might be blind but I can still see you!"

It is then he turns into a log causing her to blink "Oh? You were a log?"

I then caught sight of the real him in mid air above her head and this time I Air Bended in his direction. He twists his body avoiding my air bended attack then focuses in his Chakra "Fire Style, Giant Fireball Jutsu!"

He breathes fire at Toph from the sky. Toph quickly summoned an Earth sphere to cover herself. This worked as she hoped it would but Sasuke had rebounded and came at me. He punches me across the face sending me crashing into Toph. I just lay on the ground groaning in pain while Toph lands right into some sand! I watched then gasped knowing Toph's one weakness at this point, she was good at any type of Earth Bending but sand was a big problem for her.

Sasuke looks at her sensing her uneasiness "You are a fierce opponent Toph, but I know you struggle when it comes to trying to Earth Bend in sand, and use what you use to sense me out. It's clear to see who wins this.

"Not beaten yet!" she told me.

I tried to get up but Sasuke walks over to me and kicked me over towards a tree. Once more I go crashing into it and lay still trying to get up "Stay down Avatar if you know what's good for you...I'll be dealing with your Earth Bender friend."

"You'll try!" Toph said "Aang, call for help!"

"Sure thing" I muttered weakly I tried to dial for help but couldn't find the device "Hugh?"

Sasuke smirked revealing the device in his own hand which he crushed making me know that during the brief confrontation he had somehow taken it off me.

"Crushing it won't work!" I told him.

"Oh it'll buy me time" Sasuke said "Enough time to settle things with Toph...And gain another prize."

"Another prize?" Toph asked.

Sasuke reached for something then retrieved something and shown it to her "See for yourself!"

"Can't" Toph said.

Sasuke shook his head "Sad, but" he then shown me and my eyes widened "YOU WERE THE ONE THAT STOLE HANABI'S SOUL!"

Sasuke smirked "That's right, last night I took her soul after beating her in a Duel" he now looks at Toph "And now I've come to claim another victim."

"Don't Duel him Toph!" I told her "He has something that can steal your Soul."

Toph looked at Sasuke unafraid "He's the one that has Hanabi's soul Aang! I have to Duel him! You said so yourself, if one of us can beat him, Hanabi's soul will be freed!"

"True" I admitted "But-"

I tried to get up but the damage Sasuke's punches and kicks had worn me out and I still needed recovering.

"But what?"

"But if you lose...He'll gain your soul somehow."

"Worth the risk!" Toph said.

Sasuke just smirked "So you understand the outcome if you lose Earth Bender."

"I do!" Toph said "But you'll find out that I'm not one to easily beat!"

I watches as Sasuke brings out his Duel Disk and activates his Sharingan "Then let this Duel commence, Toph. In time you'll become my second victim...Even though the Avatar is watching, I want him to witness this."

Toph activates her Duel Disk "It's you that'll be beaten and Hanabi's soul will be released."

Sasuke shook his head activating his Duel Disk "I'm afraid I have an agenda to keep up with, Hanabi's soul was first and yours will be second...Then possibly Haku's..."

Both duelist drew their top five cards and shouted "DUEL!"

Toph's Life Points: 4000

Sasuke's Life Points: 4000

"I'll start us off!" Sasuke told Toph "I draw!"

He drew his card "First I'll set one Monster face down"

He set a monster in face-down defense mode as he then completed his turn "Turn end."

"Oh, I'm so scared!" Toph announced "A face-down monster? Well prepare for it to be crushed, it's my move I draw!"

She drew her card "I summon Muka-Muka in attack mode!"

Muka-Muka appeared on her side of the field ATK: 600

"Muka-Muka gains three hundred additional attack points for each card in my hand!" Toph announced "So Battle! Muka-Muka attack Sasuke's face-down Monster, Charging Bite!"

Muka-Muka's gained fifteen hunded attack points. 600-2100 Then after gaining that much attack charged Sasuke's face down Monster which was as Sasuke put it "BLAST SPHERE!"

"Rats" Toph muttered realizing what this meant.

Sasuke nods "While Blast Sphere is placed face-down and you attack it no battle is done! And it equips itself to your attacking Monster, then coming your next Stand By Phase, it'll destroy itself inflicting damage to you equal to your destroyed Monster's attack points!"

"We'll see!" Toph challenged "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn!"

Setting the card made her Muka-Muka a bit weaker. 2100-1800

"It's my move!" Sasuke announced "I draw!"

He drew his card "I'll summon Breaker, the Magical Warrior!"

Breaker the Magical Warrior appeared on Sasuke's side of the field ATK: 1600

Sasuke then explained more "When he is successfully summoned, he gains a Spell Counter on him. While it's on it gains three hundred attack points until I remove it from the card. Doing so will allow me to destroy one spell or trap card my opponent controls."

Breaker the Magical Warrior gained a Spell Counter on it. 1600-1900

Sasuke then points at Toph "Then I'll use my Monster's ability by removing his Spell Counter I can target one Spell or Trap Card on your side of the field and destroy it! So I'll go after your face-down card!"

Toph watches as Breaker the Magical Warrior fired a spell blast at her face-down card shattering it with her complaining "My Draining Shield!" 1900-1600

"Too bad" Sasuke taunted her "Turn end."

"It's my move!" Toph announced "I draw!"

She drew her card increasing her Muka-Muka's attack points again back to 2100. 1800-2100

Sasuke smirked "Now that your Stand-By Phase occurred and you were unable to shake it off, Blast Sphere shall now self destruct destroying itself and the equipped monster! Then you take damage equal to your destroyed Monster's attack points.

Toph watches as Blast Sphere exploded destroying her Muka-Muka and inflicted damage to her Life Points. Toph actually screams in pain as this happens.

Toph's Life Points: 1900

Sasuke smirked "Not so easy to beat me now is it?"

She looks at him "I'm not finished yet!" She checked her hand "Sweet! I'll activate the Spell Card: Gem-Fusion!"

Sasuke watches as she choose her Fusion Monsters "Now I'll fuse Gem-Knight Tourmaline, with Gem-Knight Amber!"

Her two Gem-Knights began fusing together with Toph chanting out "Gem-Knight of Topaz, rise from the earth to shine your punishing might...Fusion Summon, level 6, Gem-Knight Topaz!"

Gem-Knight Topaz emerged on the field ATK: 1800

"Next" Toph told Sasuke, "I'll activate the equip Spell card: Gem Forcefield! And attach it to Gem-Knight Topaz! It gives my Monster five hundred attack points every time I declare an attack! So Battle, Gem-Knight Topaz attack Sasuke's Breaker the Magical Warrior! Topaz Pounding!"

I watched as Toph's Monster gained five hundred attack points 1800-2300 then Toph's Gem-Knight punches out at Sasuke's Monster striking his Monster head on destroying it. Now it was Sasuke's turn to feel a bit of the pain.

Sasuke's Life Points: 3300

"Now it's my turn to tell you of an effect" Toph told Sasuke "When Gem-Knight Topaz destroys a Monster by battle, it inflicts damage to you equal to your Monster's attack points!"

Sasuke gasped not expecting this as her Gem-Knight turned towards him. Toph smirked "My Gem-Knights usually have my back when I'm in trouble...Now take a Topaz Burst!"

Toph's Gem-Knight glew a brighter Topaz color then shot it out at Sasuke as if it were radiation. He cringes as his Life Points fall. 3300-1700

Toph smiled "So it seems that your plan to wear me out failed!"

Sasuke smirked "Things might just get interesting! I'm not out and it's you that'll be defeated still!"

"We'll see!" Toph challenged "I end my turn!"

"It's my move!" Sasuke announced "I draw!"

He drew his card then checked his hand "Oh? What do we have here?"

He nods "Time to totally take it up a notch! I summon the Black Salvo Tuner Monster!"

Black Salvo appeared on the field ATK: 100

Blast Sphere returned onto the field DEF: 1400

"Next," Sasuke told her "I'm going to tune my level three Black Salvo tuner monster, with my Level four Blast Sphere!"

Toph watches Black Salvo split into three rings and began scanning Blast Sphere while he chanted out "Vengeance starts with a true mastermind to accomplish it. Rise your mighty sword and rein your destructive power to spread terror to get claim your rightful vegence...Synchro Summon, Clash, Samurai Destroyer!"

Out of blazing white light, the huge Samurai Destroyer appears on Sasuke's side of the field ATK: 2600

"Next" Sasuke said "It's time for Battle, Samurai Destroyer, attack her Gem-Knight Topaz, Samurai Destructive Slash!"

Samurai Destroyer charges forward then slashed with the sword with Sasuke explaining the effect "Monsters, Samurai Destroyer battles have their effects negated!"

An explosion sounded and Toph's Life points fell a bit. Toph's Life Points: 1700

Sasuke watches as Gem-Knight Topaz was still standing "What?!"

Toph answered "Gem Forcefield doesn't just give my Monster five hundred attack points during my battle phase and when I declare an attack with it during that time...It also protects my Monster from being destroyed only for one time."

Sasuke blinked "I see, you're way clever than I took you for. Still won't save you."

He then saw a card in his hand "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."

I saw him looking at a certain card in his hand and out of the corner of my eye I saw it was Summoned Skull! Samurai Destroyer was bad enough and Toph had to be extremely careful as I had a feeling Sasuke's face-down card was a trap card of some kind. Things were going to get intense. I fought to get up and warn Haku about this but Sasuke smiled "You can forget about him helping you see, I asked Prince Zuko to distract him and for Princess Azula to distract your other friends. This duel is between me and Toph, with you as the only other witness and you'll witness her soul being taken out.

"Nothing's settled yet!" Toph announced "For Hanabi's sake I'll give you everything I've got!"

"Then you better do it and fast" Sasuke taunted her "Because I'm about to truly show you true terror."

I watched helpless to aide Toph. Was Sasuke right? I hoped he wasn't.

Part two of Dueling Vengeance is over. Next chapter is Chapter 59, Dueling Vengeance P3: While both Prince Zuko and Princess Azula distracts Kasumi's friends from coming to Sasuke's attention, Toph and Sasuke continue to have their Duel. Kasumi continues to train her Vulpixes.
