Chapter 61: Dueling Vengeance P5
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, or Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Hades whom is Disney's version of him. I do own Kasumi along with most of her deck which is based off of Fire Emblem female characters and the four Titan Cards.
Haku's POV
I was facing off against Sasuke in a Duel. A duel of which I had to win for Lady Kasumi's sake. If I could defeat Sasuke in a Duel, then Hanabi and Toph's souls would be released. With their souls released we wouldn't have to worry about Lady Kasumi going after Sasuke as much. Oh she'd still want to go after Sasuke to teach him a lesson in picking on her friends but at least she'd listen to reason. This Duel I was going to have to Sasuke had to be a win for me. It just had to!
"I'll be going first!" I told Sasuke.
"Won't matter who goes first and who goes next" Sasuke warned me "After all, my deck is one most Duelists won't be able to defeat...Even the Lady Signer might have trouble beating it."
"Key word" I told Sasuke drawing my card so now I had six cards in my hand "Might, now I draw!"
I briefly checked my hand, I had Blast Sphere, Spear Dragon, Cyber Dragon, Ominous Fortunetelling, Ice Mirror, and Battle Healer a decently good starting hand. I made my first move "For my first move, I'll set one Monster face-down in defense mode."
With this I set Blast Sphere face-down in defense mode as I thought If he tries to destroy my Blast Sphere, then he's going to get a surprise! I know he may know my deck but regardless as long as I can deal damage to his Life Points, I have a fighting chance.
"Next" I told Sasuke "I'll place two cards face-down and end my turn!"
I set my two Trap Cards in my hand face-down.
"Strong start" Sasuke admitted to me "I draw!"
He drew his card but I activated my Trap Card "I activate my Continuous Trap Cards: Ominous Fortunetelling, and Battle Healer!"
I looked at Sasuke "Here's how Battle Healer works, whenever you take effect damage from a card effect I gain Life Points equal to that damage! And I'm sure you know what Omnious Fortunetelling does."
Sasuke was watching and agreed "I do, During your Stand By Phase, you can randomly select one card in my hand and try to guess what type of card it is between Monster, Spell, or Trap Card, if you guess correctly I'll take seven hundred points of damage. I won't lie to you Haku, that's why I see you as a big time threat to my plans. You aren't going to be easy as Hanabi were, and while Toph gave me some trouble she wasn't a threat as much as you are going to be. So let's see which of the two of us is going to win."
"Let's" I admitted "It's your move by the way."
Sasuke checked his hand "Perfect, for my first move, I'll summon Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke!"
Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke appeared on Sasuke's side of the field. ATK: 1800 This caused me to mutter "Seriously Sasuke? Of course you'd go after a Monster that has your name in it."
"And he's about to do me some good!" Sasuke said "So you see when he attacks a face-down defense Monster he automatically destroys them without their effects activating. So Battle! Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke attack that face-down Monster!"
Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke drew it's sword and charged at my monster slashing it automatically destroying it due to it's effect.
"We'll" Sasuke said with a smirk seeing briefly what the monster was "So much for your Blast Sphere Trap move."
He select his next move "I'll set one card face-down and end my turn."
"It's my move!" I told Sasuke "I draw!"
I drew my card which was Freeze Resonator! Which I believed came at a good time. I hit my Stand By Phase and selected a card in Sasuke's hand guessing it "Spell?"
Sasuke sighs revealing that it was the Equip Spell Card Axe of Despair.
I smirked "In time Sasuke I'll be able to see your entire hand even if I guess wrong, but now you take seven hundred points of damage thanks to Ominous Fortunetelling!"
My Continuous Trap Card activated sending a purple like curse at Sasuke striking him and causing damage to him. Sasuke acts as if this were no big deal "So this duel begins." Sasuke's Life Points: 3300 "Don't forget" I told Sasuke "Since you took damage from a Card Effect, Battle Healer's effect also activates, increasing my Life Points by the same amount of damage that card effect inflicted!"
My Life Points rose: 4700
"Only a minor inconvenience" Sasuke told me "In the end it will be you who will fall."
"We'll see" I told him "As I put on the pressure! Since you have one Monster and I have none, I can special Summon my Cyber Dragon! From my hand!"
Cyber Dragon appeared on my side of the field. ATK: 2100
"Oh dear, a big scary mechanical dragon" Sasuke mocked my Monster, "Whatever shall I do?"
"Keep mocking my monsters Sasuke and they'll bite you in the butt" I warned Sasuke "True you might not be scared at Cyber Dragon, but let's see how you act when I summon Freeze Resonator from my hand!"
Freeze Resonator appeared on my side of the field ATK: 1000
Sasuke watches calmly as I now picked it up a notch "Prepare yourself Sasuke, for I'm not holding anything back! I'm going to tune my Level three Freeze Resonator with my level five Cyber Dragon!"
Freeze Resonator split into three rings as it scans my level five Cyber Dragon, I chant out "Oh Guardian of Ice, let your rage build up a blinding blizzard with your strong wings to lend me your power. Synchro Summon Level 8: Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon!"
A bright flash of light appeared and my Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon appeared on the field roaring. ATK: 3000
Sasuke watches amazed "Hmm...Interesting a new Blue-Eyes Monster...I wasn't aware you had one but it'll be destroyed in the end too."
"We'll see about that" I told Sasuke "Because now it's time for Battle! Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon, attack Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke with Ice Blizzard Attack!"
Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon opens it's mouth and unleashes a mighty ice blizzard attack at Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke. The ice starts to freeze Sasuke's monster as I addressed Sasuke "When Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon attacks a Monster, instead of sending it to the Graveyard it freezes that monster up and allows me to take control of it placing it in my Spell and Trap Card Zone and until that monster in the graveyard is destroyed, my monster gains half of that monster's original attack points!"
For some odd reason, Sasuke didn't activate his Trap Card which I had the feeling he was saving it for when it was truly needed giving me the impression it was Defense Draw. That was the tricky thing with Defense Draw, it made any battle damage from 1 attack 0 and allowed you to draw a card. Knowing when to use it properly was the key in changing the tide in a duel.
Sasuke took the battle damage but he took it like he'd normally would. Sasuke's Life Points: 2100
Sasuke watches calmly as my Monster froze his Monster taking control of it and gained half of it's attack points. 3000-3900
"Next" I told Sasuke going into my Main Phase II, "I'll activate my Field Spell Card: Ice Mirrors!"
"Rats" Sasuke muttered seeing the ice mirrors surround the field "Dejavu"
I looked at Sasuke smiling "I'm sure you realize what this means."
Sasuke agreed "Yes, I do...Now you might be able to hide your monster in one of the mirrors when I declare an attack."
"Indeed" I admitted "But that's just one of the effects. Now might be a good chance to surrender but I end my turn."
"Acting so cool of your abilities Haku" Sasuke told me "But I won't surrender any Duel! This is a challenge and one I'm going to prevail over, it's my move, I draw!"
He drew his card "Sweet! First I'll summon my Destiny Hero Decider!"
Destiny Hero Decider appeared on Sasuke's field ATK: 1600
"Doing that activates my Monster's ability" Sasuke told me "Whenever it's sent to the Graveyard on the turn it is summoned, once and only once in a Duel can I bring it back into my hand!"
"That Destiny Hero doesn't scare me!" I told Sasuke "It doesn't even come close in beating Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon!"
"True" Sasuke admitted "But he won't be there for long for I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization!"
The Spell Card was played and Sasuke spoke "Now I'll fuse my Destiny Hero Decider with Destiny Hero Defender!"
Now it was Sasuke's turn to chant "Heroes of Destiny join forces to create an ever avenging hero of Destiny! Fusion Summon, level 8: Destiny Hero Dystopia!"
As Destiny Hero Dystopia appeared ATK: 2800 I remembered just before leaving my friends that Aang warned me Sasuke had this Monster but it still took me by surprise, only the man Aster Phoenix was the only person to wield Destiny Heroes, so how did Sasuke get his hand on three?
"I activate Dystopia's Special ability" Sasuke said "Any time it is Fusion Summoned I can select one of the two Fusion Material Monsters and inflict damage to you equal to that Monster's ATK so I choose Decider! So take a Squeeze Palm!"
Dystopia took aim and sent a blast at me damaging my Life Points and this caused me to flinch "Okay, that hurt."
My Life Points: 3100
"That's not all Haku!" Sasuke told me "I'm about to destroy your Synchro Monster with this Fusion Monster."
"My Monster has way more attack than that thing does!" I told him.
"At the moment" Sasuke said he held up his last card in his hand "And you should know better, remember I have the Equip Spell Card: Axe of Despair! And it's going on Dystopia"
Axe of Despair appeared in Destiny Hero Dystopia's hands with Sasuke warning me "Axe of Despair increases a Monster's ATK by 1000."
"Even with that boost" I told Sasuke watching the boost "It still fall slightly short!" 2800-3800
"Perhaps" Sasuke said with a smile on his face "but now I'll introduce you to Dystopia's second special ability! Once per turn, anytime when his ATK or DEF changes he can destroy one card on my opponent's side of the field, and I choose your Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon! Go Destiny Hero Dystopia, Dystopia Blow!"
"I gotta hand it to you Sasuke" I told him watching the effect come at my monster, but I activate Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon's second special ability, by removing from play one Monster equipped to this card, I can prevent my Monster's destruction by Card Effect as well as inflicting five hundred points of damage to you as well as halving your Monster's ATK points. So Ice Barrier!"
"Rats" Sasuke muttered seeing that I countered him easily. His Life Points took a minor hit due to my Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon's effect. Sasuke's Life Points: 1600
My Life Points got a raise due to Battle Healer's effect. 3100-3600
Then Sasuke's Fusion Monster had it's attack points halved. 3800-1900
"I'll end my turn" Sasuke told me "And Destiny Hero Decider appears in my hand."
"It's my move!" I told Sasuke "I draw!"
I drew my card thinking to myself I got Sasuke beat for sure! Thanks to Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon as long as I keep on attacking his monsters he can't destroy my Monsters by Card Effect. There is that Trap Card that's face-down...And he's about to lose seven hundred more Life Points!
I looked at Sasuke "Ominous Fortunetelling's effect! And you only have one card in your hand which is your Monster, specifically Destiny Hero Decider!"
Sasuke shows me that I was correct "Correct."
My Trap Card inflicts seven hundred points of damage to him and Battle Healer allowed me to gain what he lost. Sasuke's Life Points: 900, my Life Points: 4300
I checked my cards having only Spear Dragon in my hand and Uria, Lord of Searing Flames.
I decided to go for the win "Alright then time for Battle! Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon attack Destiny Hero Dystopia with Ice Blizzard Attack!"
"Not this time!" Sasuke told me "I will now activate my Trap Card: Last Line of Defense!"
Sasuke's trap card activated with Sasuke explaining the effect "I can only activate this Trap Card if my opponent's attack would leave my Life Points at zero and I at have at least one or no monsters in my hand, this trap card shifts my Monster into defense mode, negating your attack, then I'm allowed to draw six cards. The monster I shift into defense mode can't be switched into attack mode until the end phase of your next turn"
I sighed as Sasuke successfully repealed me, but with Dystopia's attack points at nineteen hundred he wasn't going to go anywhere.
"Turn end" I told Sasuke.
Sasuke nods "It's my move, I draw!"
He drew his card now having eight cards in his hand, normally one could only have up to six cards in their hand but since Sasuke's trap Card allowed him to draw on my turn, there was that little loop hole, however this meant he had to discard two cards at least at the end of his turn. Sasuke grinned "Well then my Destiny Hero Dystopia was simply useless against you so...I'll start this turn by summoning Breaker the Magical Warrior!"
ATK: 1600
Breaker the Magical Warrior appeared on Sasuke's side of the field with Sasuke explaining "When he is summoned, it gives him one Spell Counter, increasing his attack points by three hundred.
Breaker's attack points increased. 1600-1900
"Next" Sasuke said "I'll activate the Spell Card: Monster Reborn to bring back my Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke!"
Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke reappeared on Sasuke's side of the field ATK: 1800
"Next" Sasuke told me "I'll be activating Breaker the Magical Warrior's ability by removing it's Spell Counter I can destroy one Spell or Trap Card on the field and I choose to destroy your Field Spell!"
My Ice Barriers shattered but I still wasn't catching onto Sasuke's plan. Sasuke smirks "You do realize I have two Level 4 Monsters on the field right?"
This got me now "Rats!"
Sasuke nodded "Dysopia might not be able to do anything, but now I shall build the Overlay Network overlaying Breaker the Magical Warrior with my Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke!"
The two level four monsters took into the black sky and Sasuke began to chant out "Dragon of Darkness and Rebellion, spread your mighty wings and spread your terror over all enemies. XYZ SUMMON! Rank 4...DARK REBELLION XYZ DRAGON!"
With a mighty roar a new dragon emerged. It was pitch black and even a new Duelist like Team Signer would know this Dragon was bad news and it felt evil a bit. ATK: 2500
"That still falls short!" I told Sasuke.
"Correct it does" Sasuke admitted to me with his Sharrigan eyes activating "However not for long...You see I'll activate Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon's Special ability! By offering up at least two of it's overlay units I can then select one Monster on the field and half it's attack points, then that remaining half is added into Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon's ATK!"
I gave out a gasp of shock as Dark Rebellion Dragon sent a draining effect at my monster with it's overlay units disappearing. Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon's attack was halved and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon's ATK gained what my Monster lost. 3000-1500 2500-4000
"Now" Sasuke told me "Battle, Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon Attack Haku's Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon! DARK REBELLION BLAST!"
The pitch black Dragon roared and unleashed it's might upon my Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon. My monster roared as it was completely obliterated. Then the Battle damage hit me like a ton of bricks sending me crashing into a tree back first. My Life Points: 1800
"Now things seem to be adding up" Sasuke told me "Now the power is on the other foot! I can't switch my Destiny Hero Dystopia into attack mode just yet due to Last Line Of Defense's effect, so I end my turn."
"It's my move!" I announced "I draw!"
I drew my card knowing that the tide might've turned but I wasn't completely out yet.
Kasumi's POV
I was watching Pakkun train Snowflake once more. Now Naruto hadn't returned yet but Aang was taking his place. This was possibly the best substitution as Aang could easily shield himself with a rock boulder. I crossed my arms with Takara at my feet watching Snowflake. Amazingly she was able to learn from Pakkun, Kakashi-Papa's ninja dog. It turned out he was an amazing teacher for a dog. He turns to her giving her a few drills "Come on Snowflake! Let's see how you can change directions quickly. Follow what I do!"
She ran at him as fast as she could and he jumped to the left side. She followed gracefully with the same speed as she had done. The dog ducks as she flies past him "Good one! Now come at me again!"
Once more she ran at him and he dodged to the right which she followed. He continued to train my little baby snow white Vulpix with amazing effort! Finally he stopped the running laps "Now use that speed to spin yourself around simular to how you would use the Fang-Over Fang technique!"
"Vulpix!" Snowflake said shaking her fury head.
As she was running she began spinning herself around and literally became a blur of white fur as she became a tornado. She shot herself directly in Pakkun's direction. The ninja dog dodges and continues to do laps around her. She continued going after him and I saw Kakashi-Papa observing with his Sharrigan going "Oh she's not losing the speed anymore. Pakkun did a great job!"
Pakkun stopped and ducked Snowflake as she in her spinning motion misses him completely. She stops immediately looking confused.
"Good work Snowflake!" Pakkun said "You never lost your speed this time. It's time to try out the big guns. Lady Kasumi...I believe since Takara's version of the attack is Volcanic Fang-Over-Fang it's time for you to use that new move you want."
I agreed "Alright then! Takara, heel girl and watch alongside Pakkun!"
"Vulpix!" Takara replied.
I turned to Aang "Ready Aang?"
"Ready as I'll ever be Lady Kasumi!" Aang told me "As soon as you come at me with that new technique, I'll be ready to shield myself with a boulder shield."
"Good!" I said.
Kakashi-Papa, Pakkun and Takara stood a careful distance away from Snowflake and myself as we faced Aang. I pet my snow white baby Vulpix to calm her down a bit and to let her know I was going to be with her on this run. She acknowledged me with a small nod and a playful Vulpix lick to the ankle.
I focused in my Chakra "Transformation Jutsu!"
Within seconds I turn Snowflake into an identical version of me. I gave her a nod "Ready?"
"Vulpix!" Snowflake said.
"Good, now let's go!"
"Vulpix!"
The two of us run forward I build up two rock fields and used my psychic powers to place the rocks over the two of us just as Snowflake breathes out her Ice Beam. I combined the ice attack to cover the rocks as we both began to rotate while spinning. The two of us soon became twin ice like tornadoes and we shot ourselves over to Aang. We crossed each other several times just like Takara and Snowflake had done previously. This time as we came towards Aang on a crossing rout to collide at the same time, Aang summoned up his rock boulder shield encasing himself in the rocky boulder as we hit the target. We collide with the rock somehow drilling right through it and end up colliding peacefully with each other. When the boulder was destroyed ice and rocks covered the destroyed rock boulder with Snowflake on my back "Alright! Good work Snowflake! You finally did it!"
"I-I-I-I-I say you two did!" Aang said as he was now covered in the destroyed boulder's rubble and ice debris from my new move. He was almost frozen solid, had it not been for his rock boulder shield which we destroyed he would've been completely frozen.
"Amazing!" Pakkun said "She created an ice version of the Fang Over Fang."
I managed to stand with both Snowflake and Takara at ether side of my feet "Good girl Snowflake! You did it, your version of Fang over Fang is called Tundra Fang-Over Fang!"
"I'll say this while I can!" Aang acknowledged me "That's your move right now felt like an avalanche hitting me."
I turned to my Vulpixes petting them both "Okay, so we got Tundra Fang-Over-Fang done...And now there is just one more part to this new move..."
"There's more to your new Jutsu?" Aang asked me.
"There is" I said nodding "There is a reason why I developed Tundra Fang-Over-Fang! I already have Volcanic Fang-Over Fang which would be the more lethal version of the attack. So I am thinking this, I'll use my own version a Earth Fang-Over Fang version for myself using nothing but sharp rocks and boulders to spin like a drill...My new Jutsu I plan to do uses all three Elemental Fang-Over Fangs to complete."
Kakashi-Papa got it "What an incredible girl you are Kasumi-dear! Using the elements to your advantage! The earth version might be the weaker version but even it can hurt with those sharp rocks digging into you like a drill that part no one would want to take lightly but when you have to deal with Tundra Fang-Over Fang which freezes upon impact, and Volcanic Fang-Over Fang which just burns you away to nothing...The opponent wouldn't want to take ether attack...But if three tornadoes are coming at you using Fang-over fang but elemental versions of it all at one time, that can be horrifying to any enemy."
I turned nodding to Kakashi-Papa "Exactly Kakashi-Papa!"
Aang smirked "Oh, man just imagine how terrifying that attack is going to be General Kakashi if all three Elemental Fang-Over Fangs meet at one time."
"Oh I don't have to imagine that outcome, that'll lead to nearly instant death for sure...Being pierced by rocks, frozen and then completely annihilated by being burnt away to nothingness means nothing is going to survive. Since this is Fang-Over Fang if one version hits...It's all it would take when one hits eventually the other two will hit the target as well as the move rotates...Oh Kasumi-Dear, Kiba whom taught you that attack will soon regret it when you complete this Jutsu. He might even be slightly jealous of you for being able to do so."
"He might Kakashi-Papa, but it's something I have to do if I am to compete with Sasuke. I gotta think ahead."
"That you do" Kakashi-Papa said agreeing with me
I turned to my two pets "So, get ready you two...It's time for one last assignment...Combinding the two...Then it's back to camp."
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Aang gulp nervously and I sensed he was hoping a setback might happen to delay this new Jutsu.
"Vulpix!" Both Snowflake and Takara said ready for the move.
I nodded "Get ready girls! Because we're going to give Aang everything we've got...This is why Naruto is needed...With so many clones of him he can muster he is the ideal partner to test this on."
Aang agreed "Yes, but Naruto's off doing something for me, I gave him my word I'll do what I can."
"That you'll do" I said as I had a feeling that I was being watched by someone from afar...Someone I knew all too well...Now it wasn't the feeling that Orochimaru was watching me, but it felt like a certain pervert was around. Now my mind was racing where was that pervert? And why was Jiryaia around these parts? I just smirked a bit knowing that somewhere I'll find that old pervert of a man and when I found him, I hoped he was ready to take on Triple Element Fang over Fang as I called it.
"Get ready girls because we're about to develop my new Jutsu!"
With this Snowflake, Takara, and I prepared for the new move.
Haku's POV
Now that I've drew my card then pointed at Sasuke "Time for Omnibus Fortunetelling's effect to come into play! Now that you have six cards in your hand, I get to randomly choose one of them and declare it's type then you lose seven hundred Life Points."
I selected one of them "Spell card!"
Sasuke growls a bit revealing the card to be a Spell Card, I wasn't able to fully tell the details but I could see that it was a Quick-Play one "Lucky guess!"
Omnibus Fortunetelling activates dealing seven hundred points of damage to Sasuke's Life Points. Sasuke watches me a bit annoyed "You'll pay for that!" Sasuke's Life Points: 200
I smiled "Now that you lost seven hundred Life Points, thanks to Battle Healer, I'll gain them!"
My Life Points rose by seven hundred. My Life Points: 2500
I checked my hand, if I could survive the next round, I could win this. I selected my drawn card "I'll activate the second effect of my Ice Mirrors Field Spell Card, if it was destroyed by Card Effect, I can select one Water Monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it onto the field...So come back out, my Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon!"
I removed from play my Ice Mirrors Field Spell Card and after a ice mirror emerged, Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon appeared on the field.
"Nuts" Sasuke muttered "Just once I've destroyed it, you managed to bring it back!"
"You bet I did, I warned you there was another effect of Ice Mirrors and you fell for it the moment you destroyed it with Breaker the Magical Warrior, and now it's time for Battle!"
Sasuke watches both a bit panicky but also calm "Your Monster is strong Haku...I'll give you that...But it doesn't have the attack points needed to destroy my Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon."
"True" I admitted "At least not in this turn anyway. Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon, attack his Destiny Hero Dystopia! Ice Blizzard Attack!"
My Monster gathered in an enormous amount of ice and sent it out in a blizzard like beam at Sasuke's Fusion Monster. The Monster was destroyed and I reminded Sasuke "Remember this Sasuke, when Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon destroys a Monster, he takes control of it and until that Monster is removed from it, it gains half of that destroyed Monster's attack points...Which half of Dystopia's original attack Points is fourteen hundred!"
Sasuke watches as his Fusion Monster switches sides frozen and Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon soon gained attack points. 3000-4400
I checked my hand seeing that the only other card in it was Trap Stun a Trap Card and while that could stop Sasuke's traps, he didn't have any on the field that I needed to be aware of. I was feeling pretty confident that I was going to win this. Surely Sasuke didn't have anything over forty-four hundred attack points...And if he did I wouldn't suffer much and upon my next turn Ominous Fortunetelling would activate decimating Sasuke's Life Points if I guessed correctly, so far I was three for three "Turn end."
"It's my move!" Sasuke announced "I draw!"
He drew his card then smirked at me "Oh, Haku, I have the winning hand right here!"
"Unless you have Megamorph there's no way you can win when my Monster has forty-four hundred attack points!" I told him.
"That's not completely true" Sasuke said "The card you scouted in my hand on your last turn should've been the key for you to gasp out in fear! I activate the Quick Play Spell Card: Rank Up Barion Force!"
I blinked not even knowing that card "Hugh?" then I saw Sasuke's Spell and noticed it was the card I had randomly chosen during my last turn "Rank up?"

Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon was selected and a dark cloud appeared overhead as Sasuke chants out "Stronger Dragon of Rebellion, fly from the skies an reign your mighty superior might on this vengeful night! RANK UP! XYZ SUMMON, RANK 5, Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon!"
In Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon's place was a stronger darker looking dragon. ATK: 3000
"That's even more weaker!" I pointed out at Sasuke.
Sasuke smirked "Not for long! I activate Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon's Special ability! By offering up one Overlay Unit, I can select one Monster on the field and make it's attack points 0! And just like Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon, that drained monster's attack points are added into Dark Requiem Dragon's ATK points!"
"Say what?!" I asked then I knew what this meant, I lost!
"You heard me Haku!" Sasuke told me with a grin on his face "Now watch as my XYZ Monster decimates your monster's ATK!"
An Overlay unit detached from Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon and it drained all of my Monster's ATK points and gained them all.
"Great..." I muttered not expecting this 4400-0, 3000-7400
Sasuke nodded grinning "Now whose in trouble? Behold your fate Haku! Battle, Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon attack Blue-Eyes Ice Dragon and END THIS DUEL! Dark Requiem Blast!"
I watched helplessly as Sasuke's Monster took aim at my monster and sent a dark blast at it. Anyone knows that if a Monster has 0 attack points and your opponent's Monster had any number of attack points then this was going to be nearly like a direct attack. All I could do was brace myself as the attack hit and destroyed my Monster. I was blown onto my back when someone caught me shouting "HAKU!"
I opened my eyes and gasped to see Lady Kasumi muttering out "Nuts...I've failed you Lady Kasumi...I'm sorry...I wasn't able to beat him."
My Life Points: 0
Sasuke's Life Points: 200
Then I saw nothing else as my body went limp in what appeared to be Lady Kasumi's arms.
Naruto's POV
It would've appeared that I was too late to save Haku. I almost made it to him in time! I turned to see Sasuke now having three soul stealing cards in his hands. Anger swelled in me as I felt bad for Haku whom wanted to stop Sasuke before my sister fell into his trap. Gritting my teeth I turned to Sasuke whom taunts me believing I was Lady Kasumi "So...You finally shown up Lady Kasumi...I would've preferred you to arrive much later when your worthless bodyguard couldn't defeat me."
I clinched my hands as I turned to him "MARK MY WORDS SASUKE! I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS!"
"Oh that's the Lady Kasumi I was expecting to hear..." Sasuke said with a smirk holding up the three soul cards that had Hanabi, Haku and Toph's souls. I faced Sasuke determined to stop him. I was not going to let him take advantage over my sister. Like my adopted father Yusei, the bonds with your friends was something one never shattered or used against her without a good plan. I put Haku on the ground vowing to him "Don't worry Haku-kun...I'll beat him for everyone's souls he's taken."
I glared at Sasuke still holding my sister's image "Mark my words Sasuke, I'm going to make you pay for this!"
Sasuke seemed unaffected "We shall see won't we?"
"Indeed!"

And that's the end of Dueling Vengeance P5. Haku lost the Duel to Sasuke and now Naruto in Kasumi's disguise has appeared. The action is heating up! Next chapter is Chapter 62: Dueling Vengeance P6: Sasuke and whom he believe is Lady Kasumi are in a heated Duel, but Sasuke's in for a big surprise when the one he's dueling isn't Kasumi but Naruto himself. Meanwhile Kasumi completes her new Jutsu and learns of what happens to her friends...Can Naruto defeat Sasuke before the real Kasumi comes or will Sasuke claim another soul and finally let him claim the Lady Signer herself?

Effect: Activate only if your opponent's attack would make your Life Points 0 and if you have 1 or no monsters in your hand or Field. Negate the attack, select 1 Monster on your side of the field and change it to defense mode. That Monster can't switch battle positions until the end of your opponent's next turn, then draw six cards.

Effect: During your opponent's turn when they declare an attack flip a coin, if heads negate the attack. During your turns select one Monster on your side of the field, that Monster can attack directly. If this card was destroyed by Card Effect, you can remove this card in your Graveyard from play, select one Water Monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it on the field.
